Do not book this property. The area isn’t great, and the AC doesn’t work. This is supposed to be a 4 star property taking over $200/night, and they are lying about the AC not working. We booked 3 rooms as a group, and they gave each of us a different excuse as to why the AC wasn’t working. Reasons ranged from city hall cutting their power (clearly a lie since everything else was working) to technician has turned it off and it won’t turn on till after the weekend. Properties also usually take any payments at check out. Conveniently these folks asked for payment up front, knowing all these issues. The rooms were also very small, and dated. Will not be staying here again. Do not recommend.

We booked this hotel based on pictures and reviews online. The room was on the first floor facing the main street. Not only was it old, dirty and the shower drain was clogged (they had to come unclog the drain) but also it was extremely loud. There was noises coming from the street from honking cars, people talking and waking by and loud music coming from the cars driving by. I could hear cars honking until 2AM!!! I would give this hotel zero if I could! The hotel staff were extremely nice but just sucks that we had such a terrible room which was very different from pictures online. They were sold out or else we did ask them to move our room but I’m sure it wouldn’t have helped with the dated room!

Good place to stay for one night in Naples. Good location. Excellent recommendation for dinner 3 minutes away at local seafood restaurant. Was excellent. The shower drain was slow. Didn’t love the bright yellow paint and bright lighting in bathroom but overall good choice.

The balcony with a view shown in the breakfast area photos is misleading because it does not have that view. The safety box uses a key… which you must not lose…

Check-in is smooth and professional. Desk clerk very helpful with directions and advice for the Napoli experience. Rome raves about Pizza Napoli - we were directed to the genuine source, Sorbillo at Via Dei Tribunali 32 ( not the busy place with the blue sorbillo flags) walk a little further to the smaller place with Sorbillo etched in the glass over the door…viola!.. Pizza Napoli. This walk from Palazzo Turchini takes you through Centro Antico. There is also a beautiful Church right next door to Palazzo Turchini and hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the Port of Naples for next steps travel to ports beyond. Room is clean and comfortable.

The staff were very helpful for anything we needed. We stayed here as an anchor point for visiting Capri and Positano. It was a 5 minute walk to the ferry for both of these stops. Breakfast was included with a nice variety and delicious.

We were taking the morning ferry to Amalfi and the location of this hotel to the ferry port was very convenient and close. We walked there in 10 minutes. The breakfast on the rooftop patio was the perfect start to the day!

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good and plentiful. The covid policy made it difficult and time consuming to get more coffee and food. As long as you didn’t need a quick breakfast it was great.
Our room space was very tight and noisy (perhaps we got the last room available). We were next to the courtyard and awoken by the noises of restaurant supplies being transported (restaurant was the floor above ours) and conversations.
The hotel was advertised as air conditioned. Upon arrival we were told the AC was “turned off” for the season. It was early November. I understand it may be the usual policy yet if the weather is unseasonably warm or cold they should adapt the indoor environment for the guests.The room was really stuffy. Opening the windows for fresh air movement made it very loud from airplanes coming and going.

This is a very tired hotel in need of a reno. Bad wifi, dated rooms, no amenities, staff were friendly. Small dated rooms, rock hard pillows and mattresses. Not 4 Stars or upscale like they claim.

I would be happy with this room/hotel if I booked a 2 star.

Nice room but felt chilly - room with interior terrace which was lovely but very little sunlight- and no amount of tampering with the aircon system helped. Hotel did provide extra blankets. Not really anywhere to relax. Could make better use of breakfast room in the evenings. Currently locked all day ready for breakfast next day. Shame as theres a nice terrace. The rooms are very small and two of the lights in the room were flickering but they didn’t fix it even though we asked for it twice. The toilet had a leak and the floor was getting wet when you flush it. The main advantage of the place is it is right next to ferry terminal and metro stop and walking distance to almost everything you may want to see

Hotel of Thieves!

Quite literally the worst hotel experience of my life. My GF and I stayed here for 2 nights between 13-15Aug 2018. On the last morning after breakfast we checked out and asked the reception if they could safely store our luggage so we could go and do some last minute site seeing - The front desk employee said no problem and we left the bags with him - Mr I**o. I was shocked when I returned to realise that my laptop had been stolen from my bag!!! FROM THE HOTEL SAFE STORAGE AREA! when I told the same receptionist he refused to take responsibility and simply said the laptop must not have been in the bag in the first place! I had to go to the police station myself with ZERO assistance from the hotel and fill in the usual reports. I brought the police to the hotel and they were shocked to realise that their safe storage was in AN UNLIT BAR AREA open to the general guests and staff! with NO CCTV. The police advised me to get a lawyer on the case which I have done and that it was possible that someone from the hotel staff probably stole the laptop. We had to leave as we had a train to catch but the hotel didn't make any effort to compensate or sympathise with my situation. I emailed the general manager a few days later and they gave zero response. I never write these reviews BUT PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF YOU ARE STAYING IN THIS HOTEL AND DO NOT TRUST THE STAFF FOR ONE SECOND AS YOU COULD BE AS UNLUCKY AS ME AND LOSE A LIFESTIMES WORTH OF INFORMATION WHICH I DID - BEWARE !

A wonderful boutique hotel

This hotel is located in a great location--a short walk to all the sightseeing of old Napoli. The room was very comfortable and well appointed, and the complimentary breakfast (including eggs/bacon if ask) while sitting on the 6th floor terrace was delicious. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel was well appointed for the Metro and easy access to the port and tourist attractions. The room allocated to us however did not meet our expectations. Our reservation itinerary described a classic double room with city or patio view. The view from our bedroom window, photos attached, was of the external air shaft and the lift on the ground floor below. Our room was on the first floor accessible only by stairs. We checked online that other rooms were still available but were told by the duty manager that we hadn't requested a view and therefore we weren't allocated one. For this we paid £157 for one night 175Euro.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. It is very clean and comfortable and even though it is on a busy street, it was nice and peaceful in our room. One glitch was that the WiFi in our room was quite week and went in and out. We spoke to staff and two times the router was rebooted however it did not make any difference. Others in our group staying on different floors had no problem and enjoyed good connectivity.

Ants, ants, and more ants. We had to switch rooms after the first night and leave a day early (even though we were pre paid) after I woke up to ants crawling on me. The floors of the room were lined with dirt and hair. The showers are full of mold and smell of vinegar. There was cigarette burn holes in the curtains. 4 star hotel? I don’t think so

A comfortable, pleasant, conveniently placed hotel

We have stayed in Naples many times and in many places, but once we found Palazzo Turchini there wasn't really anywhere else for us. It is well placed for tourist amenities and sight seeing. Within walking distance are Castel Nuovo, Piazza del Plebiscito, Duomo, Capella Sansevero, port facilities and funiculars to upper parts of the city. There are many varied places to eat nerby.
All the staff are helpful and pleasant and cheerfully encourage my attempts at Italian. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. This time, due to flight disruption at the end of our holiday, when we contacted them from the airport they arranged a room for us for a further night. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel is in a safe and convenient location within a 20 minute walk to several historical locations. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. There is a very good Pizzaria/ restaurant half a block away. Enjoy sitting outside in mild waether. The veal with lemon sauce is amazing.

I had a previous booking that fell through on the evening i got into Naple, so that was stressful. Made a very last minute booking on Hotels.com on my phone at this hotel. And it was amazing, the front desk was quick and helpful, even though my reservation hadn't even shown up on their system yet. The free breakfast was great and it made a great start to the day. The location was excellent, a grocery store across the street for buying fruits and water. Less than 200m to the underground line. We stayed there while visiting Pompeii.

The airconditioning in the room was very weak though, it may not be an issue in every room. It was not a big deal during my stay because the day's high was 28/29. So i just opened the window. But if it was 35 degrees out, it might feel a bit hot.

Don’t be put off by the graffiti on all the buildings around the hotel. Good location, good staff and good room surprisingly quiet as it was next to the lift and the restaurant. Well located for visiting the historic quarter. Archeological museum is a must to see. Close to cafes, retail shops and grocery shops. All in all a pleasant stay.

An oasis!

Spent a 4 day winter break here. Lovely comfortable room (406) with private access to a lovely open air 4th floor patio garden - completely quiet from the rather busy road. This could do with a patio umbrella to make it usable in showers.
Hotel lacks any lounge area (very small bar is a little stark).
Breakfast is ordinary but acceptable.
No hot drink facility in the room - this is a shame and should be made available.
However the hotel is well worth a visit- and location is a great base.

Hotel palazzo Turchini is a great place to stay with some nice restaurants nearby, well 2 or 3 doors away. The staff were very helpful. We arrived hours early to book in, but they did try to see if any rooms were ready to accommodate us. We were happy to drop our bags and head out, and when we returned the bags had been taken to our room. A very nice gesture.
You can buy tickets for Tramvia, a local tour company from the newsagent nearby, or by the port. They have very reasonable trips to Sorrento, Herculeum, Pompeii and Vesuvius.

At first, we were disappointed, the interior is so simple.We were expecting more based on the reviews. Naples however is large and most of the places we wanted to see were far from one an other. Once we understood that the best the Turchini has to offer is location, location, location, we were much happier. There is a subway stop and a bus stop on the corner, and it is walking distance to the old town. We often took taxi's to our destination and then waked back, which turned out to be a good strategy. The subway is easy to use.We bought a three day pass that included many sites and the subway.Breakfast was very nice.

Everything went smoothly during my stay. Easy and fast check-in. Elevator (0 stairs). Clean and spacious room. Great breakfast with a nice outdoor patio area. Easy check-out. My room was on the back, so no view, but very quiet. Only a 3-block walk to the cruise/ferry docks and 1/2 block to a metro station. Taxi was only 25 Euro from the airport or the Alibus is by the cruise dock.

Good hotel in Centre of Naples but Beware!

This hotel was booked online for a 2 night stay after viewing the room photos so we were very disappointed to be allocated a room with no windows! This hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel and there is no way we would have booked this hotel if we knew we were going to get this room - especially when there are so many other hotels available with this bare minimum. We were unable to change rooms as the hotel was fully booked and as it was already late afternoon, we were stuck with it. To the hotel's credit, they did move us the next day but this is still not good enough and can only be classed as gross misrepresentation.

I was put up in another hotel because there was a power failure in Palazzo Turchini when I checked in, so I can't give any comment
