Awesome staff and great common area made my stay. They let me store my luggage and hang out on my checkout day which saved me a bunch of trouble. Only downside was a bunch of mosquito bites and no shower gel or shampoo, but those are nitpicks. 9/10 would recommend

Spent a few days at the amazing hostel on the sun with a friend..Lovely hosts and great facilities would highly recommend ..also great location by port close to bus metro eatery’s all within easy reach 15 min max it’s on 7th floor tho normally costs 10 cents but when we were there it was free

There were some good and bad things. The hostel is an ok area. Right near the main city center. Lots of restaurants and shops. The bus to airport picks up very close by. It’s not the closest to the train station. Need to take a metro and then walk some more. Shower was clogged. Ok breakfast included. I like the big lockers for storage under the beds. AC was nice and cold. There is a foosball table in the common area that made a really loud noise in our room below. Should really not have that. Elevator was confusing. Sometimes would work, sometimes not, sometimes required 10¢.

The staff is very nice and helpful, but it was loud until late with talking and people in and out of the room till 4am. And it got very smoky from cigarettes at night which was bad for sleeping and my asthma.

Clean, nice private rooms - good choice in Naples

I rate places based on what they are. For a hostel, it was a good choice. There was a living room type area, where people were often hanging out, games, gaming systems and a bar. Things were showing their age in the common areas, but I had a private room and it was nice. Definitely bring ear plugs though because the buzzer on the door & door opening & closing were quite loud. Other than that, my bed & pillow were comfortable, the room was clean. Breakfast is free, but pretty limited (\"American\" cheese, cold cuts, toast, yogurt, cereal and some fruit). The staff is friendly, which is always helpful at a hostel. Also, there was good WiFi - also good in any hostel or hotel. The location is also near the port where several tours start from and the last stop for the airport shuttle.

Hostel is definitely for the backpacker set who want built in friends. Just don't get high expectations on the actual facilities and you'll enjoy. Otherwise, be prepared for thin, springy mattresses; mould; noisy doors and locks; white bread and cereal breakfast; piping hot or cold water; rented towels. Wi-Fi and outlet were good though.

Great staff, very clean, nice showers

Stayed here 3 nights, one of the best hostels Ive ever stayed at. They have a great system going on here. The staff is super friendly and alot of fun. A young crowd was there when I was visiting and met a bunch of people. The rooms are very clean and nice, shower and bathrooms are great. Highly recommend this hostel, you will not be disappointed. Shout out to Sabrina from Sami Boy and Christian.

It was easy to find the Hostel as is located in the heart of the city and less than 100 mts from the airport shuttle stop. The staff was very friendly showing the installations and giving a city guidance. The room and bathroom was clean and good as I expected. Liked the breakfast and the free pasta dinner.

LOVVVEEEEE this hostel, I came in sweaty and tired because I had to walk all the way from the airport and the person at the desk immediately gave me a cup of water (no charge), the room was lovely and colorful and clean. The vibe was very relaxed and she asked what I was interested in doing. Gave me some tips of whether or not to buy the artecard, how to get pompei, best pizza places etc. Very helpful staff, breakfast is simple and enough to get you going in the morning. Area isn´t as dangerous as it may look. Souviner shops near by as well.

I left my jacket behind on a previous stay and the staff kept it for me! They were also able to help me call a taxi for my 645am flight out. Very friendly staff. Hostel is quite centrally located although in a quiet area. Hot water and strong wifi are quite reliable - they have a free dinner on some nights although we didn't take advantage of this. Opted to head to sorbillo instead. Hostel is about 25 mins walk from sorbillo.

Staff were very helpful. Went over what to do in the city and where to go. Gave very good advice and I went on many day trips which I probably wouldn't have done without their help. Rooms were nice enough and three bathrooms on my floor so there was only one morning out of five that I had to actually wait to use the bathroom.

Convenient and clean/ friendly hostel

The hostel is located 10-15 min by walk from e train station, which was perfect ! There were several great restaurants a short walk away from the hostel. It's also less than a ten min walk from the ferry port. The rooms were cleaned everyday, the staff were professional, helpful and friendly , and the bathrooms were always clean. Will come again :)

Great hostel!

We really liked this hostel, the staff was excellent and offered a wide range of activities. Breakfast was great! The common area was chill. The area felt really safe, but dirty (typical Naples, don't think you can get away from that). Location was right on the port, and right between the two city centers making it easy to get to both. We had a wonderful time in Naples and we can say that this hostel was a big contributing factor. :)

Central, lively, affordable hostel

Relatively basic but but comfortable accommodation, the real bonus is the friendly, helpful staff and the lively atmosphere. Always a few people around that are willing to meet and talk and share a beer (from the cheap bar in the hostel!) after a long day of site seeing! The location is not quite near any of the local sites but it is close to the metro and central to all of Naples' various areas (most are walking distance).

The staff at this hostel immediately go above and beyond to make you feel very comfortable and welcome. We had a double private room with an ensuite which was great. Breakfast is included in the booking, a good way to chat with others and start the day. Although Naples doesn't feel overly safe, the location of the property is within a comfortable walkable distance to the port and great restaurants.

Good enough stay in Naples

This is a nice hostel located close to the Napoli waterfront. You need .5cents each time you take the elevator up or down and the hostel provides free nickels for your use. The outside gates are closed after a certain time in the evening and on many occasions, the intercom did not work for me. This was frustrating as I waited for someone to come out so I could get into the building. The free breakfast is OJ, coffee, salami, cheese, 3 types of cereals and toast with butter, jam and nutella. The people at the reception are nice enough and they all speak English pretty well. The cleaning ladies are also nice and did not make too much noise when I was taking a mid day nap after NYE party.
Naples is boring compared to Rome or Florence. If you visit Naples, you should definately make day trips out of Pompeii, Capri and Amalfi to make it worth it. The hostel staff help with organizing and getting from place to place and give you a nice map with local attractions.

If Only Naples was as nice as this place....

A great stay in a hostel. The people running the establishment do a great job and were very welcoming and helpful. Rooms were as described, but beds were uncomfortable (at least the 4 of us on bunkbeds thought so). Area was convenient, for transportation and walking sites. Secure and safe. Would return to this hostel (but not likely Naples).

look no further for a place to stay in Naples

I spent a week at this Hostel; if ever you want to see how a Hostel should be run and maintained then look no further. The staff are superb and very quickly and efficiently give you all the tools to get about by public transport as well as highlight the local areas to check out by foot. The location is next to the ferry piers so trips to islands such as Capri couldnt be easier and is 3minutes walk from the Alibus Port stop, the Alibus that does a circuit from port to the main train station (garbaldi) and the airport so just jump on, pay 4euros and wait till you get to the port and you are pretty much on the doorstep.
The main shopping area and Via Toledo is 5-10minutes walk away and it would take longer to drive there due to the traffic!.
The Hostel of the Sun attracts a large number of tourists and despite having 50+ beds many friends made during my stay wanted to stay longer but couldnt as the hostel was quickly fully booked.

Needless to say the hostel is clean, breakfast is free and wifi was fine for me. they have PCs available and an on site bar if you dont fancy venturing out and want to relax.

I could go on for longer, but to sum it up i found this hostel simply perfect for me; i am planning on returning exactly this time next year and i guess recommendations cant come higher than that.

Average Hostel. The included breakfast is about as basic as it gets - no cappuccino, just American style coffee - and American style pseudo-cheese slices encased in cellophane instead of real cheese. And so on and so forth. If you're on a tight budget and the location works for you, go for it. The beds are reasonably comfortable.

Great hostel with very friendly & helpful, lively staff. I had a private room with a queen sized bed & shared bathroom. Room & bathroom were very clean, comfortable & spacious. Breakfast was the usual cereals, toast & a few cold meats & cheese.
it was very close to the ferry terminals so if you are coming or going to Capri or the Amalfi coast from here I highly recommend you use the ferry as an alternative because it's fast, efficient and a lovely way to see the coastline.

Best hostel I've stayed at.

Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, great location. The have clean, comfortable rooms and lot of activities for guests including a great 70 euro all-day private boat trip to Capri. The hostel is relatively small with a really inviting, home-like feeling that encourages interaction with your fellow travelers and a bar where most of the guests hang out at night. When I go back to Naples I will definitely be staying here again. And I may have to ask Valerio to marry me :-)

Brilliant Atmosphere!

My wife and I stayed here over christmas in a private room with bathroom. I was a little dubious at first as had never stayed in a hostel like this before and was concerned the room would be budget. How wrong I was. I can categorately state that we would not have enjoyed our trip to naples anywhere near as much if we had stayed anywhere else. The room itself was spacious, the bathroom was clean and the bed was made up every day. There was a tv with dvd player as well. Minor points - there was inadequate towel rails and the shower screen door was gone.

What really impressed me facilities wise was the free wi-fi throughout the building. I have stayed in 5* hotels that don't have wifi (except in the lobby), let alone provide it inclusive of the room rate.

It is the common area and the welcoming atmosphere that the staff (Luca in particular) create that separates this place from just being a nice place to stay, to ensuring it is what you rate all other experiences against. The ability to sit on a bean bag watching tv whilst enjoying a cheap beer from the bar was fantastic after a hard days exploring. The ability to mix with fellow travellers and meet new friends over a cocktail was also a joy. The hotel is ideally situated public transport wise and Luca and co. will ensure that you have enough tips about where to go and how to get there to ensure you will never be bored.

Lo staff è molto gentile.
La colazione non è molto varia ma sufficiente.
La camera è spartana e poco insonorizzata, il letto per mio gusto personale non molto comodo, il bagno un po' piccolo.

I’ll put it delicately - it’s ok. It’s not nice. It’s not terrible. It’s ok. The staff was very nice but the facilities were a bit rundown. I stayed for one night and chose not to shower since I had a feeling it will not make me feel any cleaner. If you are used to nice hostels in Europe, this is not one of them. Cozy, yes. But not nice. Location is great and if you’re alone you’ll find someone to talk with. So that’s a plus.

Abbiamo soggiornato nell’ostello per 3 notti e quattro giorni meravigliosi a Napoli. L’ostello si trova in ottima posizione! La struttura è pulita, la nostra camera familiare grande, pulita e accogliente… anche con un bel balcone da cui si vedeva il mare! Alla reception i ragazzi sono gentili e simpatici! The reception was very pleasant, the girls very nice, some speak Spanish too. The place is cozy, quiet, very close to everything. Breakfast could be improved, with fresher bakery and Italian breakfast classics, such as sflogiatella, focaccia or others. And the cleaning of the glass shower could also improve, they could even put in a window cleaner, so that each person can manually remove the excess water splashed from the glass when finished. Just as a suggestion. Note 4.5/5

Rušný hotel na dobrém místě

Hostel s velmi dobrou atmosférou nedaleko od historického centra a dalších památek. Ideální pro seznámení s dalšími cestovateli. V ceně je i základní snídaně. Snad jen škoda, že společenská místnost (oficiálně) zavírá už o půlnoci. V hostelu bylo docela čisto, ale některé vybavení (např. dveře od toalety) by potřebovalo lepší údržbu.

港から近くてフェリーを使う予定のには便利だと思う。何よりスタッフの方々が親切でフレンドリーなので泊まっていて楽しい、ただし、ドミトリーの部屋は2階でフロントは7階なので注意！エレベーター有料だけどチェックアウトの時にエレベーター代くれました。ありがとう❗️

A coté de \"Castel Nuovo\".

Un endroit tres sympatique pour cotoyer des gens, jeunes et moins jeunes, du monde entier. L'accueil est tres convivial et l'emplacement tres correct par rapport aux transports et les sorties de jour comme de nuit.

Super welcoming place

Well situated in Naples, super close from the bus stop from the airport. The staff is welcoming and helpfull. They provided me their best tips for my 1 day visit of Naples. The hostels is confortable with everything you can need. The dining room is great, good music, babyfoot, some books and guides of Naples, boardgames, evrything to make you confortable. I even had the chance to share afree dinner with the other people staying there for the night. Will definitly come back during my next stop in Naples.

ホスピタリティに溢れたホステル

立地がいいです。カプリ島などに行くフェリー乗り場から徒歩圏内にあり、また市街地にも歩いて行けます。ナポリ中央駅からは離れてますが、地下鉄の最寄駅（Municipio駅）から歩いて行けるのでさほど苦労しないはずです。
ホテルは厳重な扉の中にありますが、インターホンを押すと開けてくれます。（ただし、チェックイン時間の前に来ると予約している旨を伝える必要があります）
スタッフはザ・イタリア人という感じで陽気で親切な人たちばかりです。またこのホテルの最大の特徴として、曜日限定ですが夕食として無料のパスタを提供してくれます（たしか火・木・日だったはず）。おかわり自由でしかもイタリアというだけあって結構美味しいです。それだけでも他のホテルに比べて利用価値は高いんじゃないかと思います。

Équipe super sympa! Belle ambiance! Excellente expérience!
Étant donné le brassage de personnes assez important, je pense qu’il faudrait un peu plus de permanence au niveau du nettoyage.
Ceci dit, j’ai beaucoup apprécié ce concept de rencontre et partage.
Je recommande et y retourne!
