Didn’t see the staff at all, booked the room and requested a queen bed but they gave us a king bed with a join in the middle which was quite uncomfortable, also no kitchen ware was provided and the office was closed

The Tudor Inn has been rebranded the Sheppard Motor Inn. Parking was restricted due to a full size shipping container blocking one whole section of the car park and another guest used their car to block access to the limited parking. (General construction rubbish e.g. glass fragments had not been swept up). The gardens have been neglected with the rose bushes infested with aphids. All \"Tudor\" decorations have been removed or painted over which was the reason for our stay.

Parking was not easy, it is an old establishment, but for one night it was okay. Internet could be improved. On a major road but car noise was minimal except when local lads decided to “race”. No semi trainer noise.

The motel is run down a little, but this is not my issue. A non smoking room means that you don't open the rooms window next to the afixed ashtray prior to arrival. I appreciate the idea given it was a hot summers day, but close the window and turn on the a/c.

If you had to.....

There could have been a few more facilities provided. There was a toaster & microwave - but only one teaspoon & nothing to wash your dishes with (detergent) afterwards??? Someone (staff?) have pulled out ALL the plugs on lighting electric blankets etc - had to get under the bed to plug them in - unusual.

Stayed their often as it has a comforting feel about it, clean and quiet and one of the nicest motels you can find in Australia. It is our preferred stay in Shepparton.

We arrived late, were greeted warmly at reception and found that the aircon had already been turned on in our room so it was nice and cool. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable.
