The room and facilities were excellent. The staff were fantastic, they explained that they were extremely busy over the weekend, but were happy to provide room service for dinner on Friday night, as the bistro was booked out.

This is a great place to stay. This is our 4th visit. We will be back. Room has plenty of room. Restaurants and room service was great. Very large meals in the restaurant. The room did have a stain in the carpet which I reported to the receptionist.

The venue was very convenient to our needs. Club/pub staff were helpful and would definitely stay there again if we needed to.
Not like: While having a smoke outside in the car park, a gentleman from the room below ours casually emptied his bladder between the cars outside his room.

Friendly staff clean rooms with plenty of room. There’s a nice swimming pool and the meals at the pub are beautiful but huge. They did give us containers to take it with us.

The property is always clean and tidy and staff welcoming whenever we stay there
Alexandra
Check in was easy and staff friendly. Room spacious and clean. Like the asphalt car parking spots. Just a minor thing would be better chairs by the pool. The ones that are there are really not comfortable for sitting in. You have to lay back.
Shirley
I liked the property because of its location and the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to accommodate my needs. It was very affordable.

Really loved staying here for one night, we were pleasantly surprised by how lovely and spacious the room was. Really clean, a handy little kitchenette and fridge with everything we needed. Bathroom was spacious, loved the little soap and shampoo conditioner. Carpet looked brand new. Free wi fi, a tv. Will definitely stay again. Staff were super nice.

The rooms were great and the staff fantastic, the meals and bistro were just what we went for.

Room was clean, serviced daily… Staff were friendly!
The overall experience was disappointing though I have to say. We were unfortunately subjected to a rather enraged individual screaming for 2 hours at 4am trying to get into someone’s room… The police arrived eventually to sort it out but by then we had to get up (we were up there competing for a sport event)…
Nothing against Manager or Staff but this really ruined our stay…

Elaine
Lovely staff and management, the room was presented well and had all the little extras you might need. Food in the bistro was delicious . We would certainly stay again
Sue
Not the most pleasant trip to Shepp we've had. Overcharged on check - in. Wifi password did not work. Toilet pipe leaking on to bathroom floor. Water pipes in room next door so noisy and as for the spa running at 23.30 at night !!! Having said all that - the staff were lovely. Attended to problems straight away. Room was clean.
Malcolm
Nothing much
Kylie
Clean, comfortable and serviced everyday. The food in the restaurant was great. I was upstairs closest to the road, I found the road noise loud and the air conditioner struggled on the 35 degree days, needing the room key to operate the air conditioner meant the room was hot for hours after I arrived back in the room.
Jeanette
Having bistro on premises good
Mary
We stayed for 3 nights and on our last day, a party of youngsters played loud music from their check-in up til 1130pm - they were rambling and smoking in front of our room. With the ac not working, we had to open our windows and very unfortunately welcome all the noise and cigarette smell in. Our room needs an update too, especially the T&B.
Otherwise, the staff were all friendly and courteous. It would have been a nice getaway if parties were not allowed in the rooms.

Loved the spa bath. Minor issues: The curtains need to be bigger as they allow people to see into your room. Also do not recommend for light sleepers. The band at the pub part didn't stop until midnight and then you can hear everyone leave in the morning - voices, suitcases on steps etc. The alarm was blaring for hours in the room next to ours, but because someone was staying there it didn't get turned off until they came back. Other than those minor things room was large, clean and had a lot of bench space. Perfectly adequate if you're planning on a late night out.

I was surprised how large this complex was. The motel units are a small part. Our room was large and well presented. Check-in was friendly and quickly done. There is a large bistro, beer garden and two bars to enjoy. It was such a beautiful day we enjoyed an afternoon drink in the beer garden followed by a delicious dinner in the bistro. I am glad we booked a table as it was very busy on Friday night. We would certainly stay here again.

Location is great, having restaurant next to hotel is very convenient and food there is very nice.
The fridge in the hotel room could have been cleaner, as it was very dirty.
Also, having the cleaning staff know when you have a late checkout, so they don’t knock on the door early in the morning.
