The receptionist was so welcoming and assisted us with breakfast when we couldn’t be there on time. Big up the chef for his delicious food, my child loves his fish in coconut milk and eggs 👍. Our room was generally clean and the environment as well together with, the fridge, microwave and Cable TV was in proper working condition. I would definitely recommend staying a night or two.

There are no phones in the room to contact reception. Breakfast is pretty good. Wifi connection provided did not work in the rooms. Staff was hospitable. Should provide daily room service of clean towels and basic cleaning maintenance while guests are in rooms. Also recommended for reception to cut spare keys in cases of guests being locked out of rooms.

I recently stayed at West Palm Hotel and it was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had at any accommodation. Upon arrival, my fully paid reservation couldn’t even be found in their system. We were left waiting for quite some time due to a supposed “mix up” that the staff themselves weren’t even aware of.
As for the amenities, the only thing that was actually functional was the pool and that was the only decent part of the entire stay. The bars and restaurants were closed, we were told to knock on the door and someone “might” come to us. When we asked what was available, a guy on the property said the only drinks they really had were Carib and Stag. The WiFi was completely unreachable from the room, the TV had no signal at all, and to top it off, there were lizard droppings on the door.
We didn’t even feel comfortable staying the night. For a place advertised as a proper hotel, the conditions were extremely poor. While the staff were polite, absolutely nothing was done to compensate for the inconvenience or rectify any of the issues we faced.

The aircondition is leaking infront of the front door and in the toilet. There was no Wifi on the property. They kept lying saying the technician is there fixing it.

I threaten to leave and they purchased a phone card for me to buy a plan for the duration of my stay. I killed a cockroach in my room.

The bathroom had a choke the water was not running out quickly.

Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very helpful.

I’d stay there again but wouldn’t rush to do so

While the pool is quite nice, a lot of the property is run down. The room is ok; AC worked well; the bathroom is ok. It’s a bit piecemeal; a queen mattress on a double bed base does not make a queen bed. Breakfast was good. Since there were two of us we asked for a second key. The hotel refused to provide one. In fact, if we wanted our room cleaned we had to drop off our key at reception. Doesn’t instill confidence, nor a feeling of guest focus.

Book 1 room for 4 adults which came up to 164 US. Also had the choice of booking 2 rooms for 4 adults for 161 US. When I called the hotel they said that I had to pay extra since I had 2 extra person in the room. I tried to explained that if I had knew I would had booked the 2 rooms which was actually less cash. The hotel was no help and said since I booked third party I had to contact Expedia. Weeks later I still don’t have a contact number for Expedia. I messaged the help desk and they said that the hotel had the authorization to ask for more cash. From the experience Expedia has FALSE ADVERTISING. They claim that it’s a one time payment and you have certain package options but when u go to the hotel that is not real information. It’s completely different. I recommend that Expedia either put up the real information (no fine print garbage) or just don’t have the advertise the hotel at all. The trip started horribly because of the misinformation. The toilet in my room was flooded and I need to be re-roomed. For breakfast I came in at half 8 and all the other guest was literally packing the food into boxes and heading into their rooms. I had to pay extra for my 2 other persons and received nothing for them. No towels or water. The property itself was old and wore down. The only highlight was the pool. Poor staff service. Highly recommend that Expedia take this hotel down until they contact them and have CORRECT PRICES.

It felt safe. Beds were comfortable. Lighting and AC were good. Overall the room looked clean. You may need mosquitoe repellent though. The pool area was ok. The water was filtered always. No umbrellas so you'll have direct sunlight always.
However, all photos of the place should be updated because some places are under renovation such as the bar in the pool and breakfast areas, even the breakfast menu isn't a continental type as seen in the photos. Usually its either toast and eggs (any style) or something to this effect. However today it was a continental styled breakfast since it was mother's day (much appreciated).
The room door and closets are a little hard to open and close. The maintenance guy tried to fix it up though. The helpers were very attentive and tried to rectify any issues we had.
The sink in the room smelled a little funny though.

I booked a room that stated 3-4 people are allowed in the room. I came with my husband and daughter and was denied my room until I paid an extra amount for another person. They claimed they only had rooms for 2 people, though I booked online before I arrived. Later, during my stay, I went to the pool and cut my foot on a broken piece of glass. When I looked in the pool, there was a shard of glass nearly the size of my hand. I showed the staff and they told me that a guest broke a glass in the pool the night before. They said they called someone to clean and wouldn’t have another cleaning person there until the Monday, and it was a Friday evening when I went to the pool. When I asked what would be done, they told me to “be careful” in the pool. Of course, I did not feel comfortable swimming in the pool with broken glass in there. This meant I was unable to enjoy the pool services for my entire trip, as I left on the Sunday.

Our stay here was very relaxing. Room was clean, no issues except that we could not get the tv to work. The breakfast was great, everyone enjoyed it. Pool was really good, especially in the evening time when the water was nice n warm. Property renovated a bit since our last stay but more work still needed, I guess they will in time🙏 Overall, I'd say we had a pleasant stay and would go back again.

The breakfast was decent, the pool is beautiful however there was mold in our bathroom, really questionable characters outside the hotel as well as the actual hotel itself drains smell badly, grass is overgrown and there's caution tape preventing you from rolling the suitcases on normal ground and instead you have to drag your suitcase up the stairs.

The hotel is old and dated, However it seems as though it’s on the verge of closing down. At check in I asked for a clean room because I was carrying an infant. However the room wasn’t clean and the sheets look as though it wasn’t change with hair and many stains. Above all room entrance were leaking air conditioners and many cats 🐈 screaming at you outside your room. The tv, microwave and refrigerator did not work. The adjoining door was poorly built you can hear everything on the other side. The breakfast was a cold hard toast you had to pick up in a take away box and it was horrible. The pool was the only great thing except it was filthy. And no staffs and attendant for anything. Not even a phone 📞 in the bedroom. The beds were horrible.

After checking we found the hotel was under construction, the washroom flushes didn’t work properly, horrible smell inside and outside of the room renovation people were walking everywhere surrounding the hotel room, and the hotel looked fully insecure. I just thinking how this type of hotel continues there business even the hotel is in under construction.

The staff were unhelpful. The rooms are hard to fin and the staff do noit guide you. They gave me a room with two enormous air conditioners outside - very noisy - so I complained and was given a quieter one b ut it required a lot of too and fro. Dinner such as it was, was pretty appalling and inflxible. You had to give a deposit for the aircon remote which says a lot about their clientele. Huge amounts of form filling at reception. Breakfast almost a bad as dinner - no choice at all. instant coffee and a tea bag and a kettle. Overall got the impression the staff did not care at all.

The Property Was falsely advertised with pictures that were photo shopped! it was in a terrible state! The fist night I tripped an fell bruised my arms and leg , they had no first aid they did not even offer help we had to go to the store and purchase our own medical supplies. Today we came to find out instead of charging the local currency they charged the same amount in US dollars, like $ 4500.00 !

Only downside was the loud grass-trimmer just outside. At first I thought: no TP!, but it was behind me..

An acquired taste

The hotel is quiet and the breakfast was simple but tasted good. I suggest you order breakfast at least 15 minutes before you go to get it or else you end up waiting. The place needs alot of updating. Too many steps, it is not friendly to the elderly, playful children or those with physical disabilities. The price to stay and the location is not bad. Lots of outdoor activities such as boating, kayaking, fishing, water park and beach bathing are nearby, however at the hotel itself only a pool is available but no lifeguard is ever on duty. The hotel is a unique experience. Good luck.
