I want to say thank you to all the staff that my stay great. Genevieve quickly rectified my issue, with a great upgrade. Thank-you!The front desk staff (Tikoura, Shem, Ayanna, Stefan and Shonia) was always ready to assist and handle the complexity of the different guest with such pose. I was impressed! Lamaime, what a star employee, he went over and beyond. He left such an impression I'd stay at the Hilton again because of him. The housekeepers always greeted me with a smile(such lovely ladies). The rooms were comfortable and clean, the property/rooms a work in progress. I'd mostly like will stay here again. Thank you for making my Carnival Birthday memorable.

We ordered burgers and asked for bbq sauce but did not get any other condiments which I had to go get myself.
On my 3rd day there, we could not eat the same menu so we ordered kfc. We stopped at bar for few drinks before goin to our room. We were told rudely that we cannot eat outside food here. WE WERE NOT EATING THE KFC. Mind you, the day before I saw some other guests with french accents open a 2 litre drink and share it at their table. And on the veranda, people were also eating outside food.SO IS IT DIFFERENT STROKES FOR DIFFERENT FOLKS.
The 3 nights I went to Samaan i received bad service and was made to feel discriminated.
When we sat on the lounge chairs where there was a menu- l was told at they don't serve food there. The very next day I saw people eating on the lounge. I felt hurt and embarrased.
No one asked if i needed help with my 3 ags seeing as my husband walks with a cane.
Herbs and spices were generally good especially Kaylene...Rhea and Tommy.
However, i noticed a guy asking a server for coffee and he was told there is a station over there. Some other servers were bringing drinks for other guests.
All in all..i will not be returning to hilton trindad ever after thai experience. Pls feel free to c

The best part of our experience was the room (reasonably comfortable) and the lovely views of the Queen's Park Savannah from the hotel. However the check-in process was terrible. There was no one at check-in to receive us and even though we were waiting there a good 7-8 minutes, the person at the Hilton Honours desk didnt have the courtesy to inform us that she was handling all check-ins. The other thing we didnt appreciate was when we tried to order room service at 10:15, we were told that the kitchen was closed, even though room service is advertised as going until 11pm, and the staff were generally unhelpful and unwilling to go \"the extra mile\" as we have experienced in other hotels.

There was no bar in the room. Just a coffee machine that had more dust than the top if my refrigerator. I was told the hotel no longer provides bathrobe or slippers. This is absurd. I travel quite a bit, and have NEVER not had a robe or slippers provided. Wasn't made aware that they were a cashless hotel, so i had a ton of money for no reason. The room smelt like wet carpet.

I have stayed at this property a few times. But this last time is showing a decline in service. The front desk girls were not welcoming. They were not trying to be helpful. Borderline rude. I had a situation with my daughter and we needed a room upgrade. I had to really assert myself and after several hours I finally got someone in the back office to help. I was willing to pay. I am a hiltons honors member as well and that was totally overlooked. The property is truly beautiful and I have always enjoyed my stays here. I would hate to see this Hilton go down because of the staff’s inability to realize how much their attitudes can make a difference.

I love that they have security guards & police patrolling at the entrance to come up to the car park and hotel. Everyone was pleasant and so helpful. The only downfall is how expensive it is for food inside the hotel, as with every hotel abroad. The first two nights me and my husband spend $160 to $180 USD for dinner; in the AM we spent $74 USD for the two mornings we decided to have a full breakfast. The room was really nice with a small balcony to relax. The nightstands and dresser had a coat of dust but I took a cloth and wipe it down. The bed was comfy. The hotel is a typical Hilton property. Very clean. Staff is non-existent, slow and not very helpful or communicative. They ran out of washclothes and while we asked for 2 extra bath towels we nwver got them. We asked for 2 extra pillows and when they arrived the smelled so strongly of moth balls it made me sick.

The scenery and ambience was everything. The pool area is just what I needed to complete the trip. The place is clean and breath taking will definitely book again. 5 stars and the mangers and ppl who work there are awesome and very friendly sometimes even go out there way to make sure you are good. My stay was the best trip ever to Trinidad.

A little dissapointed that the Cascadoo bar at the pool area was closed during my 3 day stay and the breakfast was very limited in the local cuisine . Bake with no saltfish or smoke herring ?
