Oh.. this stay is close to any whimsical experience or urge you may want or have. There are tours available as well throughout the island.. Management is available at all times.. They're very much into security..big plus. My only sadness with there, is the biggest season: carnival.. there is no room for me..

Staff greeted me warmly and guided me to my room where I was able to store my luggage for a couple of hours. Room was clean, had wifi, air-conditioning, and hot water. I'm very happy with my stay.

Beautiful place in a small space

I stayed over night with my daughter due to an athletic meet at the stadium. Needed a clean place to rest the night close to the venue. Check in was easy. Rooms adequate for the time spent. Price was reasonable. Will definitely come again

One thing i would recommend is an upgrade to the door locks, feel the inside throw bolt or deadbolt is needed for a more secure feeling.

My room, #12, was nicely appointed & cozy. Kitchenette with dishes, dish soap, microwave & mini fridge. Bathroom had extra rolls of toilet paper and hand soap. Bath gel in shower stall. Comfy bed with clean linen, ironing board, luggage rack, bistro table with 2 chairs, a comfy chair with matching footrest and a chest of drawers (no closet). Cold A/C, strong Wi-Wi, TV with movie channels. Things to note: I first connected to the Wi-Fi \"WOTA\" & it dropped every 30 seconds...ugh! Next day, I connected to \"WOTA Ext 5GHz\" with stable, strong connection. This place is a 3 minute walk to Ariapita Avenue better known as \"The Avenue\" with tons of restaurants. I was able to grab a few things at a nearby pharmacy and at a nearby grocery chain store, \"Massey Stores\". As a female, I would NOT go walking BY MYSELF at night, but perfectly fine during the day. I used their airport transportation (cash only) from the airport & then back to the airport - I highly recommend. In spite of having photos of the driver, the vehicle & tag number, I arrived at night and was unable to locate my ride for 30-minutes although the driver was in the vicinity. I suggest that WOTA should pick & identify a specific spot for pickup. Other than that hiccup, the driver was AWESOME, friendly and super helpful...a HUGE shout out to Marcus!! Bottom line, I was pleasantly surprised and happy that this guest house met all MY needs without breaking the bank!!

The location is great if you want to be around restaurants and the night life, but not too close to not sleep at night. The mini fridge and microwave and sink were perfect since I was there for a week long business trip. It was more of a studio apartment but I had an excellent stay!

I like how the owner was very good at communicating. I was in my own apartment and felt at home. I had my 2 year old with me. Even though it was a quiet location I didn't feel like my child would disturb anyone because of the location of our room. If something is needed such as transport or excursions there is information and someone available. Safety is not a concern there due to the gates lock after closing behind you. Parking is available street side and may be inside the gate if needed. It's not far from MovieTowne, Queens Park, shopping places and if needed there are RideShare services available. Definitely my go to place when I'm back in the area.

We had one night in Trinidad and decided to stay at this place due to the location so we can get in on the nightlife on the avenue. Property was ok. The guy seemed friendly at the beginning. We were given 3 separate keys to access the apartment and unfortunately one of the keys had dropped in the room and we only realized it when we got back from our night out and couldn’t get in. We had no other choice but to call to get access and this is where things went downhill. The man was not very happy which is understandable having to wake up in the middle of the night to let us in. However, his demeanor towards the situation made us feel very uncomfortable. At the end of the day, this is a business that he provides and incidents like these do happen so apart from being upset about coming to let us in, it shouldn’t reach to the point where we felt so uncomfortable and just wanted to leave.
So if you are planning to stay at this place and go out, especially at night, be sure that your 3 keys are in tact so you wouldn’t have to go through the ordeal we went through. Plus if you misplace any of the keys, he charges $200 to replace it. We will not go back.

Location near main vibrant nightlife was excellent to celebrate birthday. Central to everything to visit. Spotless room excellent owner who was the perfect host great visit much better than hyatt down the road. A real feel of Trinidad life enjoyed the stay met wonderful helpful people.

The room was clean and comfortable. The area was quiet, however it was a short walk to many restaurants and bars. Mr. Jack, the propery owner, was helpful and accomadating. He arranged for Marcus to take me around the island to many popular attractions as well as the airport. Overall, it was a great experience.

The property was quiet and tranquil, even while being near the entertainment capital of Port of Spain, the Ariapita Avenue. It was also close to a host of conveniences: myriad restaurants, grocery stores, banks, bars, clubs etc. It’s also a few minutes walk to Wrightson road where one could take a taxi or minibus into Port of Spain. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean. The owner was helpful and and professional. I had a great stay.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Woodbrook on the Avenue. The apartment is very reasonably priced, exceptional location, clean and quiet. The host Ruthven was very warm and welcoming, and made himself available whenever I had any questions.
