Wonderful staff, large villas, great views

The state of the property however is quite tired and in need of updating. The paths, gardens, lighting, buggies, tennis court, almost everything is very used up.

Food was generally quite good

Too many kids and it could be useful for them to offer segregated seating for families and couples to ensure everyone is happy.

Generally enjoyable stay except for the state of the property.

Beautifully secluded hideaway villa with private pool was utter luxury. Lots of outdoor space by the pool with outdoor ceiling fan. Gorgeous deep bath. Fantastic outdoor shower. Staff are amazing- friendly and super helpful. Complimentary all day ice cream was a treat. Stunning secluded beach. 3 lovely restaurants and fantastic breakfast. Limited choice outside the hotel to eat.

The attention to detail and sense of tranquility across the entire resort. We were very impressed with the room and the daily small gifts placed into the room. The food was excellent and healthy. The spa was very special and that view from hilltop pool is so beautiful!

Everything about this property is exemplary. The staff were so kind and helpful, we loved the primitive but low-key tech friendly villa, the food was excellent and day tours to the Phi Phi Islands and diving, snorkeling etc were breathtaking. I have been blessed to stay in 5 star resorts in Australia, the Caribbean Hawaii etc and would rank this the best. Of course we will be back soon!

I recently stayed at this resort, and while the villas are spacious and beautiful very traditional setting, the service is excellent a few factors made my experience less enjoyable. First, there’s little independence when moving around the property as you are required to wait for a buggy pick up and drop off. It feels restrictive to always text or book the service to move everywhere ( pool, beach,living room, spa). Additionally, the room amenities where a bit disappointing, the fridge was almost empty no snacks or beverages to purchase for lateras we were still on european time and no room service after 10pm. The top hill spa and pool were amazing.

This is the nicest place I have ever stayed, and I’ve stayed in many nice hotels in many different countries. This was a life changing experience for my wife and I. You must do the island hopping where they take you to some cool little islands with the most amazing beaches I’ve ever seen.
The food is incredible, and the service was the best I’ve ever seen and experienced

We just completed our 4 night holiday at Six Senses Yao Noi. After visiting over 100 countries, I can say this place left a lasting impression on my wife and my 2 year old son. We loved every minute of our stay. The rooms were perfect and the views were beautiful.

Shoutout to our wonderful G.E.M., Margie. She always made sure we were happy and even upgraded us to villa 54 on our last night! Everyday she would checkin on us and make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She’s always accessible via WhatsApp. The staff are all so friendly and smiling. They genuinely want you to have an amazing holiday. They really go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable, taken care of and have everything you need.

We dined at chefs table, hilltop, living room and the dining room, and all the meals were amazing. Breakfast was great and special shout-out to Kwan, the manager at the living room. Everyday he would make sure to talk to us and make us his special cocktail. The ice cream shop was also amazing and we went multiple times a day!

There is so many great things I can say about this place. My wife and son had an amazing time on both of our tours. We did the phi phi island and Prang Na bay tours. Both of them were private tours and the tour guides were great. The weather was amazing and the resort provided buggy’s to take us anywhere in the resort.

Truly happy with our experience and would recommend this place to others.

A very good hotel - great service, beautiful jungle grounds and a stunning infinity pool. Food was great quality but we were unable to eat in the Thai restaurant (Dining Room) which was either full (first night) or closed (next three nights) which was a shame as it meant to eat Thai food we were in the general Living Room restaurant with families with young children -not what we wanted. The hotel also needs to ensure that it’s wine list is fully available. The only white/rose available by the glass in the Living Room restaurant was a chardonnay during our stay. When buying a bottle instead we were told all the lower value options except chardonnay were also not available and offered other far more expensive wines including a bottle that cost 6000 baht (nearly £150). These are small things, easily fixed that would have made the hotel offering much more consistent with the brand.

Few things were annoying:

1. Adjacent to our villa construction took place for all day, we had to complain multiple times for it to be stopped by the end of the day !

2. We had late night flight, we did request late check out, we endded up staying at the reception are, no privacy , noisy small reception area which mostly used by the hotel managment, the resort does not have a pleasant place for gusts to stay for few hours!!

3. For people that are planning to enjoy the beach, the sea water is not clear, unplasent for swimming. During our 4 day stay mostly we had not seen gusts were seating at the beach.

The entire property is amazing. With only 60 villas this is a true privacy gem. Fantastic experience from check-in, spa treatments, complimentary yoga, breakfast, dinner, and drop-off at airport. The views are as breathtaking as the pictures online suggest.

Not the 5 star experience we were expecting

Came here for our honeymoon after being recommended by our wedding planner. It was very disappointing to say the least.
Firstly the cleaning was not up to par. Even after we had a fly lay maggots in the room - we should have had a deep clean throughout but my wife found a dead cockroach and gecko egg when she pulled the blinds down (something our turndown service never did!). Our spa treatment (90 min massage) was one of the worst I ever had. I was bored throughout and wanted it to end. It’s definitely not the 5 star experience we were looking forward to.

What I would say is that The Resort Manager, Alicia was really good at listening to our complaints and feedback at the end of our stay. Hopefully the feedback will help with future visitors.

Hotel with Amazing View

We stayed in one of the Panaramic Ocean View Villa. The view was amazing, looking at the Lime stone rocks. waking up to the sunrise everyday was spectacular. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, especially when we wanted to change our room. Our GEM Gwen did a wonderful job in looking after us and Bobo was very helpful in sorting out our rooms.
Every day Gwen would visit us at breakfast to see how we was doing. The buffet breakfast had many choices with nice fresh fruit juices or smoothies to choose from.
All staffs at six sense was extremely friendly and always helpful. The boat journey to Six Sense was a nice pleasant ride. Six sense even had wifi on their vehicle and boat transport!
The wifi was fast and never had any problems with receptions all around the resort.
It was a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Six Sense.

An absolute paradise

This resort met and exceeded all of our expectations - which were already very high. The staff was incredibly attentive to our needs - they seemed ahead of us at every step. The resort is extremely beautiful. Everything is as great as pictured if not better. The food and wine offerings were exceptionally good. The spa was outstanding. We did a private kayak tour that was beyond cool. We also picked up scooters outside the resort and rode around the island for a day. The island itself really takes pride in this resort. Our hideaway pool villa was spacious, modern, private and beautiful. There is an incredibly high level of detail here. We did have to chase a couple of geckos out of our room. So if this freaks you out too much, maybe you can leave paradise to the rest of us. To me, this was part of the experience even though I am quite frightened by anything that looks like a dinosaur even if very small. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Heaven on Earth

We had the most amazing stay at Six Senses Yao Noi. Our GEM, Kuhn Ma, was wonderful and catered to our every need quickly and with kindness and grace. Our room was luxurious, comfortable, had amazing forest and sea views and most importantly for us was quiet and private. The food was exceptional, our favourites being the slipper lobster at The Living Room and the pork belly at The Dining Room. Chef Alex and his team deserve the highest of accolades. What an amazing place.

Why go anywhere else?

Third year running and this paradise getaway just get better and better. Effortless, the whole experience. The resort is simply beautiful with and emphasis on simple. It really is a magical place that blends into the natural surroundings. The staff are also the same, never intrusive but always attentive. I feel this resort can't be bettered (but so far every year has exceeded our previous high expectations here) which is why we will return next year and probably the next.

Beautiful resort, unforgettable stay

We recently stayed here as the final stop on our two week honeymoon around Thailand and it was worth waiting for! We booked a villa with an ocean view and couldnt have been more impressed with our beautiful infinity pool and view from every room in the villa. Everything was perfect and our GEM and all the attendants really strived for guest happiness without being overbearing at all. Delicious food and reasonably priced excursions...we did a half day island hopping tour on a private boat that was so worth it!

You'll have a GEM or butler that do all the communication. That makes ordering tables, tours very easy. He know what you already have done and what you like. We really enjoyed that a lot.

The food was very good. And many options. Nice selection of wine too.

This hotel does a great job of creating a relaxing honeymoon atmosphere combined with activities. I did not find the natural beach or surrounds to be that great. The view, however, is stunning. I would have liked a larger common pool from which to enjoy this view.

This is best for honeymooners who prefer an eco-friendly stay and a mix of western comforts and island getaway.

We visited Six Senses 2 years ago and chose it this time to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary. The resort staff made it a very memorable occasion. The whole experience was totally relaxed and the food was typically amazing, especially the Thai food.

obsessed with the rocky formations in the andaman sea! so beautiful and peaceful from anywhere - the famed infinity pool (probably the most spectacular pool i've ever enjoyed), breakfast or bar, or the beaches. amazing service with your GEM (guest experience manager?), including any bookings for excursions, spa therapies, restaurant reservations and golfcart transportation. all the workers were extraordinarily pleasant and smiling. the food was all very tasty and varied choices, and included free ice cream! the villa was also very spacious, clean and beautiful with private pool. good a/c and wifi. my only small quibble would be that given it was a bit of low season (early-mid october), the diving excursions were not exactly as advertised on the website (and divemaster not very responsive via email pre-trip) - the only diving offered was off Ko Phi Phi and by speedboat, which we ended up having to book privately because there were no other interested divers, so a bit $$$$ but ultimately worth it for a fantastic trip.
on a related speedboat note - i believe transport from phuket is more common and economical - we flew into Krabi and the only transport option was again the speedboat, which i believe was about $300 usd. in case that figures into your airport planning.

The Best stay ever

The hideaway pool villa is fantastic with a nice size and pavilion, so you can enjoy sun bath after swing or enjoy the tropical rain in the pavilion with some tea and music. yes they provide more than ten different teas and allowed you play your own music with the BGM system, that's amazing.

The food and restaurant is good specially the Hilltop Reserve, luckily we can book a private dinner with the stunning seamless ocean view.

Special thanks to our GEM Alice, she take good care with us during our stay that makes everything go smooth.

Incredible hotel- amazing service

This hotel is one of the best experiences we have ever had. We went for 5 nights on our honeymoon and had an ocean panorama pool villa. AMAZING views- Pictures cant do this place justice. We had our own Butler for the entire stay- Anne was terrific, always one step ahead. Every meal we are was delectable, the table service excellent and the chef dinner was absolute perfection. You will not be disappointed

A Decadent Experience Needing Very Minor Tweeks

This property is absolutely fantastic. The Hilltop Pool must be one of the most beautiful pools in the world. The view is absolutely stunning - although at 90-95% occupancy can get a little crowded after 2-3:00PM. Most common areas open at 11:00AM which was a little late in our opinion.

Our villa was fantastic and we really enjoyed having outdoor living space. Our GEM (butler) was more than helpful taking care of absolutely everything. We had heard stories of the butlers working to change airline reservations and saw a few butlers even helping babysit children. While in our opinion this was an abuse of the privilege - it should be noted that there was a smile on every staff's face and they went above and beyond for everything no matter the task at hand.

The beach was disappointing and littered with shells. It had a more beautiful \"natural\" look - but you should be aware of what you will get. The breakfast was really an amazing spread and other dining was good but I wouldn't expect any culinary masterpieces despite the price. We enjoyed exploring the island (scooter rental outside main gate/something not mentioned). Lastly we only did a couple of excursions but they were all very well planned and worth the money.

All and all the resort lives up to the hype. We will definitely go back and commend the property, managers and staff on creating such a beautiful retreat.

Perfect to start for a Pre-honeymoon

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Six Senses Resort. We had a wonderful dinner at Hilltop restaurant. We really love their food(Hilltop) and the price are very reasonable. There are many activities you can do at their resort. We got up early to do yoga with a stunning view, water sport at their beach, and rent a bike to visit their little island. We also hired a private longboat at the resort to visit the local islands. I think you should hire a private boat if you like swimming and snorkelling. The room.... the bed is too soft for me, but i had a back surgery done before, that's why. I suggest you to put mosquito cream(they have it in the room) before bedtime, even they have the Mosquito net. I also recommend to rent a iPod at the library if you want some soft/relax music at night. You don't need to bring aloe gel, cos they provide aloe gel in the room and is good quality.

Luxury meets nature

Six senses is beyond luxury, it's where luxury meets nature. We felt so connected to the nature with every single step through out the resort. We loved how they paid attention to every single details and so environmental friendly with the design. Not to mention exceptionally personal services with the Guest Experience Maker, where we felt so \"personal\" all the time. There is no one staff through out the resort that we passed by did not greet us with a smile. That really made a difference in terms of hospitality. Prices are steep but its worth the splurge. Overall, it's an extraoridnary experience where we will remember for a life time. Defintly will recommend this place and two thumbs up!

The staff were exceptional and the resort provided many things like umbrellas, beachbags, insect repellant, alovera lotion along with different options for shampoo and conditioner. The butler service from our GEM Gwen was top quality. The privacy of the resort is wonderful as well with out own villa and pool we could enjoy in villa dining or eat at some of the restaurant s. The thai food was wonderful while the european food was delicious but a tad expensive. I would not suggest buying a meal plan as the food is priced well below thedaily charge for the meal plan.

Look no further then six senses

This resort has ruined us for any upcoming hotel stays.
Six Senses was absolutely everything you could ask for.
Room was amazing, looks exactly like the website pics but better.
Can not get bored with the view.
Authentic food brilliant.
Staff happy to do anything for us including driving to the village near by for ashma inhailer late in the day when we first arrived.
Only down side is that activities a little pricey, but a must to do.

A Heavenly Stay

Heavenly! It was the most relaxing and pampering vacation experience we had. The 2 bedroom oceanview pool villa we had was decadent. We love spending time at the Hilltop for the infinity pool/slide, and the complimentary drinks. Our GEM Nich was the most helpful and pleasant. We kayaked, biked to tour the local villages, rented private longtail to explore nearby islands, had Thai massage, went for lovely local food. We felt blessed and did not want to leave.

if you want to get a perfect moment in your life,just go there.
but if you are alone,please take notice one thing.
sixsenses yao noi has not transfer service policy for alone the solo tourist.
solo tourist have to pay for 2 persons..
i cannot understand why they have to except the \"alone\" from their heaven..
the heaven's door is too heavy to open alone.

anyway~ there is the most peaceful Eden.
please,don't waste time to select hotel.
sixsenses is the best choice!

We stayed 5 nights at the Six sense and enjoyed it very much.Louise did an outstanding support for us. She made all the dinner reservations and organized also the two trips perfectly.
On her free day she even joined us as a guide for the island tour. We visited all three restaurants. In general the food was good but not at gourmet level. We have expected a higher level in particular for the European Food. We visited before the north of Thailand for three weeks and appreciated to have again some European food. Value for money starts to be in this Six Sense a bit out of balance.
