Room was very comfortable and cleaned every day.
Was pleasantly surprised that this is exactly what it claims to be. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Totally relaxed atmosphere right on beach. Pool area were lovely. Breakfast was good too. Would highly recommend. Good value for money and quick response from hotel on any queries you may have.

Too much wrong to give this hotel any more than two stars. The biggest issue is a lack of sunbeds which means there’s an early morning scramble to put towels down to secure a bed. Any later than 7am and you’ll be lucky to get a bed. Another 20 beds on the beach and on the grass near the pool would fix this issue.
Breakfast has a similar problem. Not enough coffee machines and only one egg station means queuing for food and drink. No tables available at peak time.
Service poor and staff rude and unhelpful. Rooms are cleaned every day but most days they forgot to provide clean towels.
Food and drink expensive. Thankfully Mama’s Kitchen is really good - we usually ate there for lunch and dinner.
There is a gym but what little equipment is there doesn’t work well and the AC wasn’t working.
If you want a coffee you have to go to the room full of cats. The first time I went there were three cats fighting, two customers standing on chairs screaming and the staff trying to calm things down with a broom.
If you like a resort full of screaming children this is the place for you.
If you book a boat trip using the in house guy expect to be ripped off. He offered me a boat for 2,000 baht but when I came to pay he said it was 5,400 baht. When I walked away he dropped the price to 2,500 baht.

This is not 5 star hotel as advertised. It is 3 star hotel at most. The location is good, probably best on the island, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The rooms are noisy because of thin walls and breakfast is rather poor. If you want fresh eggs prepare to wait about 20 min. The area is not cleaned properly and guests are not very friendly. Mostly families with kids. Not much relaxation here. We always went further away from the hotel to have some tranquility. Nothing really to do on the island apart from getting on tours to other islands.

The staff and accommodation were fabulous. The beach peaceful and tranquil. The sea just the right temperature. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Even has a little street with shops and restaurants. Although the best place to eat is mamas seafood restaurant on the beach. Had a lovely time couldn’t find any faults. Problems getting there

The hotel is nice and new, however getting there is problematic. You have to take a taxi to the port for the ferry. The ferry was late, so we waited in extreme heat for almost an hour. The ferry was packed and unsafe, scary. Once we arrived on Yao Yai we had no way of getting to the hotel, so we had to hire a driver. After I insisted the hotel reimbursed the driver. Once we were finally there it was nice.

Great 2 days of do nothing except admire the windward side of Ko Yao Yai. There was an all inclusive reaort enzt door, but i preferred to look at the area on my own without being captive. Turned out to be a good choice. This hotel was a new build in 3/2021. Doesn't look like its even broken in. More staff than guests in a very nixe new facility. Staff was kind and helpful.

This accommodation only opened in December 2021 and based on how quiet it was when we were there is still a bit of a hidden gem.

The resort is modern (more Greek style white buildings than traditional wooden Thai).

It is right on the beach facing west from Koh YaoYai towards Phuket so you get some beautiful sunsets.

The room was very clean and spacious - we opted for a Suite which included a lounge and simple kitchen area (nothing to cook with though). We had direct views of the pool and beach from the bed.

The breakfast was ok but options were limited (no buffet with such low occupancy).

The staff were really pleasant throughout our stay.

There is a lovely large pool right in the centre of the resort.

Rigtig godt hotel, omgivelserne er skønne og personalet er super søde. Vi havde ved en fejl glemt vores kuffert i lufthavnen i Phuket, og de hjalp os med at kontakte lufthavnen og få fragtet kufferten til øen og hotellet. Virkelig fantastisk service! Der er gode restauranter i nærheden og flot udsigt fra hotellet.

Familie hotel med et stort problem og nogle mindre .

der var desværre flere af hotellets gæster der havde behov for at ryge hash. Dette gjorde de både på hotellets offentlige områder og på deres terrasser om aftenen .

I vores familie er vi ikke interesserede i at opdrage med at euforiserende stoffer er ok . Vi henvendte os derfor til ledelsen , som ikke ville gøre noget ved problemet .

Jo de opgraderede os , hvilket da var pænt af dem - men helt unødvendigt .

Så hvis du som børnefamilie har samme tilgang , så vælg et andet hotel .

• derudover så var hotellet ok - lidt kedeligt .
• personalet havde slet ikke den sædvanlige
Thai tilgang til gæster .
• de 2 kaffe maskiner til morgenmaden , var ikke
I nærheden af at være nok .

Detta hotell är ganska stort med för och nackdelar.
Vi har dock bott här 2 år i rad.
Fördelarna är att det är en bra frukost med allt man kan vänta sig. Ligger direkt på en fantastisk strand.
Detta är ett “barnhotell”, om du skall hitta en plats vid poolen får du vara uppe med handduken kl 06:00, puh.
Frukosten kan vara ganska högljudd, ta en plats nere vid kaféborden om det inte blåser för mycket. Räkna med att stå i kö för att få morgonkaffet. Alldeles för få kaffemaskiner eller hitta en annan lösning.

Vi bookede et dobbeltværelse med stor bobbeltseng på hotellet Royal Yao Yai, men endte med at få et værelse med to enkeltsenge på B&J Radisson hotel, som virker som den billigere udgave? Ikke optimal service ved indtjekning, jeg prøvede at få fat på hotellet gennem hotels i flere dage før de svarede og da vi ankom kunne kommunikationen godt være meget bedre. De talte ikke så godt engelsk så mange misforståelser. Hotellet ligger dejligt på stranden og personalet i buffeten og poolbpys var rigtig søde.

Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Wir würden immer wieder das Zimmer mit den privaten Liegen wählen weil es am großen Pool zu wenig davon gibt. Wir waren sonst total zufrieden und fanden die Lage und die Gegebenheiten toll. 1-2 Handtücher pro Zimmer wären cool. Klima schon laut. Kann man aber auch aus lassen.

Værelset var godt, men mange reserverer solsengene allerede tidligt om morgenen ved at lægge håndklæder på dem, så man føler sig nærmest tvunget til at stå tidligt op for at få en. Bra locations med restauranger och massager i närheten, speciellt då ön i sig är väldigt väldigt lugn och inte finns mycket att välja på.

Room did not look pictures from Hotels.com. Chinese themed and materials that felt like at least 20 ears back in time. Ordered double bed but got twin. No excuse and no compensation. They were sold out. Breakfast was 3star hotel, but plus for eggstation. Two coffee machines were working hard and made everyone wait long lines from 7 till 1030. Every day. Best thing thoug, is AMAZING location at the beach with possible sunsets. Had a great one the first night. Beach was very very clean and bar by the pool/beach made decent drinks. Pool was also very nice !

Wir waren schon zum dritten Mal im Royal Yao Yai Island Beach Resort, uns gefällt es dort einfach so gut. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und lecker, wir hatten immer ein sehr schönes Zimmer und das Hotelpersonal ist immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir lieben die Lage direkt am Strand, es gibt einen schönen großen Pool und kleine Geschäfte und Restaurants in der Nähe. Dieses Mal war es uns fast schon etwas zu voll, aber damit muss man um Weihnachten in Thailand mittlerweile leben. Wir hoffen trotzdem, dass sich die Insel und das Hotel auch in Zukunft nicht vom Massentourismus mitreißen lässt.

Nice Resort with excellent location

Quite nice resort with excellent location right on the beach, not crowded and good garden.
Comortable and clean rooms.
Ok breakfast.Limited F&B facilities.
A couple of good local restaurants, shops, massage, scooter rental, right outside the hotel.
Staff not very serviceminded and not good knowledge in English.

Selve beliggenheden fejler absolut ingenting. Hotellet ligger på en rigtig fin sandstrand. Og man kunne låne kanoer af hotellet gratis.
Det var også nemt at komme dertil, da der “hele tiden” var færger og der holdte også taxier og ventede på land.

Minusser:
Aircon larmede vildt meget og var langsom om at køle værelset ned. Væggene var tynde, så man kunne høre alt. Og der var virkelig meget larm på hotellet.
Dog var det en god seng og gode puder.
Wifi’en virkede ikke særlig godt.
Maden på hotellet var kedelig.
Men personalet var flinke, og rengøringen inde og ude fejlede intet.

Værelset var ikke klar da vi kom.
A/c larmede så meget at vi måtte slukke den for at kunne sove, der blev meget varmt i værelset. Ikke nok ligge stole ved poolen eller ved stranden. Vores nøglekort virkede ikke flere gange hvor vi skulle tilbage efter et nyt.
