Certainly NOT a dulex room as advertised.
Man collected our bags from the pier. We had a dive booked so went straight there to complete the paperwork for later. We then walked to the hotel. 15min walk. Our luggage had not arrived an hour later!! Had to wait another 15mins while they located it. We only just made our dive due to this delay.
Very basic room. Very tired. Building site was our view. Shower temperature control is only reachable for tall people. No plug socket near the mirror for hairdryer use or in the bathroom.They pushed 2 singles to make a double (beds were very hard) but a fixed table was between them, so beds were a metre away from the wall, so not able to sit up in bed. Complained, but was told fully booked. We had a choice to check out & find an alternative & receive a refund or stay in the room allocated. Not very helpful & rude staff. We were lucky we were there Sat & Sun night, as on Monday the building work started at 8am. Woke us up. Thank goodness we were checking out that morning. On a positive note, the pool was lovely & right by the beach. Breakfast was ok & varied.

Very pleasant from the moment we arrived. Resort ‘s employees will wait for you at the pier and help with luggage. Walk about 15 mins to the resort, easy walk. All services are amazing and you have private beach area for your kids to enjoy while you are relaxing on daybed. Quite area away from the noises. Mattress is a bit hard but we don't mind. Tap water kinda salty but they give you free bottled of water daily, you can use it to brush your teeth instead of tap water. Laundromat next to the hotel open 24/7. If we come back will definitely stay here again.

We didn' t like the mosquitos who bothered us endless during the breakfast, which was ok, but some of the food was a few days old, like the bread and ham, i understand it is hot outside but still put it in the fridge or something, then use some spray bug on the property, thanks.

Beach access very limited around the island. This hotel has both direct beach access and loungers which is unusual. Unfortunately most of waterfront on the island is clogged with boats. Will say the wifi is very bad. We stayed in villa 129 and there was no wifi signal there! Overall a nice clean property with decent breakfast offerings. Very disappointed in the onsite restaurant - had dinner there on our last night. Would skip it for many other great options nearby.

environment of the property is very good, quiet and has its own beach, from pier to the resort, it take about 10 minutes walk but they provide porter to pick up the luggage for the guest. With the daily cleaning, you have to put the sign out otherwise they wouldn't clean the room which I didn't aware at the first night. Email to them never able to get response that's the minus, breakfast is pretty ordinary. Other than that, our stay is good.

Stayed in a villa in December 2024. Big spacious room with a spacious bathroom. The fan in the bathroom was not completely sealed off making it easy for bugs to come in. Not a deal breaker, but would have been nice not to have mosquitoes or other critters being able to get into the humid bathroom.

The bed was way too hard for our liking, but that’s subjective.

Those are the only two tips that I would give the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The pool was fabulous with lots of room at the lounge chairs. Private beach at the front of the hotel was also pretty great. Staff and facilities were wonderful.

Breakfast was included, and they have staff that can help you with your luggage and bring it to the pier.

Would Definitely choose this hotel again. Should I get the honour of visiting Phi Phi again.

Great Stay at Koh Phi Phi Villas! Room was comfortable, spacious and clean. A little further away from the main hub of the island but close enough to enjoy a night out. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Pool was great as well and the complimentary breakfast was a bonus.

Our room did not match the images and description on Hotels.com and they weren’t able to move or accommodate us in another room. Our room was small, cramped and the landscaping just outside our room had exposed pipes and recently felled and cut trees. Awful! We only stayed one night and relocated to the far superior Phi Phi Princess.

Nice hotel in a nice location. Some reception staff are more helpful than others. Breakfast is awful. Cleaning staff take all of 1 minute to \"refresh\" your room. At check in you're asked to give a 1000 baht deposit, which is absolutely fine. At check out we were told that a bottle opener was missing from our room. We had'nt seen or used a bottle opener in the duration of our stay. When my husband had a beer in the room he had to use our nail clippers to open the bottle. Long story short, we were accused of stealing a bottle opener from the room & charged for it via our deposit. The manager came and despite me explaining that we didn't have one, just gave us an accusing look and charged us anyway. Apparently, rooms are checked before and after every checks in & out, so we must have stolen a bottle opener!! It was way too hot and I'd already been at reception \"trying\" to check out for approx 30 mins, and had a ferry to catch so I let it go. Disappointing experience at what could have been a much nicer hotel stay. I've travelled all over the world and I've never been in the habit of stealing from hotel rooms. In all honesty, as we were being accused & charged for stealing a bottle opener that was never in our room, my husband was returning 2 lovely branded beach towels that the hotel didn't know we had. If we were that way inclined we would, and could have taken them. We're not that type of guest & resent being treated as thieves. Wouldn't stay again or recommend!

Nice location, needs a little facelift

The hotel was nice, with good facilities, pool and location. The room was slightly disappointing, bed was hard and some parts of the paint on the roof were peeling, the mosquito net over the bed (which was needed) was too small and therefore useless. The main doors were sticky to slide open and wouldn’t shut fully when locked.

The bathroom was in a separate side room which had an open roof panel and what looked like a damaged roof also the light position made it a bit difficult to shower after dark with the curtain closed.

It’s a shame because if there was a little maintenance it would otherwise be a great spot. The location is just towards the end of andaman beach and peaceful but still walking distance to the town (10 mins or so to the pier).

Disappointed. Stay somewhere else.

When arrived we were greeted at the pier. The beach is nice at the hotel however there are only 5 loungers and 2 double beds for 100 guests. VERY DISAPPOINTED about this. Breakfast the only fruit daily was water melon. Definitely more like a 1 or 2 star hotel. If you try to email them regarding your reservation they will nit respond . I sent 3 emails and no response regarding pick up.

Very nice and quiet hotel not so far from tje city center. The beach in front of the hotel is very beautiful (and not crowded) with sun chairs from the hotel. The hotel is situated at the end of Ton Sai beach, so its a quiet and cleaner spot ( onclusing the water because there are almost no boats anchoring there) and at the same time still very easy to get to the city.

Negative points: a) air conditioning is very loud and old even in a superior rooms, very noisy during the night. b) around 15min walking to the city center, so its quiet boring when you have to do the same track several times per day/week

PS: no taxis or cars in the island

The hotel is amaising, consists of cosy bungallows and villas, close to the beach and in a walking distance to the center. The staff is very friendly. Many thanks to the restaurant staff - the food was very delicious, the waiter was very thoughtful helping to order pizza from the town. Thanks a lot!!! We will come back!

On check in i was immediately charged a 3% charge for using my credit card of which i was made aware of originally so beware it can add quite a bit to the overall cost .
Breakfast is a buffet which was not hot any day not at all appetizing and nothing is covered.

Pool towels handed out and left on loungers all day by people who werent even there . therefore no where to sit or sunbathe and woefully inadequate number of loungers anyway.

Resort itself is lovely ... just far enough away from the noise .

Good hotel but I won’t visit Phi Phi again

Room was good and included breakfast better than average. I found the pool to be too over-chlorinated to use but that’s common in Thailand. Short walk to lots of restaurants and shops. Overall Phi Phi was probably ruined by tourism 20 or 30 years ago - if you’re a 20-something who wants to drink and party the night away until 2am with other 20-somethings from Europe or the Americas you might enjoy this island. At least Phi Phi Villas had a slightly older and less trashy crowd.

When we enquired at reception we were told we were in De lux but she was happy for us to upgrade for very little extra money. The luxury was well worth it. Close to the beach. Ideal location, challenging water situation

Excellent location - not too close to the congested area near the pier. Check in was very smooth with extremely polite staff and cool drink and iced towel after a hot day of travel. The deluxe villa's are well appointed, large and private. The location is ideal - villas are fronted by the pool, then the walkway and beach on the other side. This beach doesn't have as much rocks/coral as long beach, and less boats than Ton Sai pier beach. The restaurant overlooking the beach makes it very convenient to go from room, to pool, to beach, to restaurant - all within 40 yards or so. 10% discount in restaurant by showing your room key was a great extra. The only downside is that water in the room was essentially salt water, so showering and other activities made a 2 night stay seem longer. Seeing as how there is a water shortage on the island and many restaurants/bars had NO water, this wasn't as bad as it could be. However, the water pipes did emit a distinctly bad smell and the salt water takes a toll on hair and body. Extremely helpful and polite staff and a great location made this a good overall stay, and I'd stay in the same area without a doubt - depending on price I'd stay here again.

Change Of Room!!!!

Unfortunately we had to move bungalows on our 3rd day as we had to call reception 5 times on our 1st day as the electric kept going, this continued every day until they moved us as room had to be shut down for a couple of days. We were promised 400BHT as compensation for a meal at their restaurant from the Main Lady on reception,which we never received & to be honest were glad as we ate there on our 1st day & the chicken burger looked like a fish cake served cold & chips had been cremated. The bungalow we were moved to was a spare & hadn’t been used for what seemed like months as the smell of must & damp was horrendous & water had laid stagnant in shower unit causing myself to wake up with over 20 mosquito bites. We also asked for laundry to be done on our 1st day ‘’The Lady’’ on reception rolled her eyes & said it wouldn’t be done in time,even though we were staying 3 nights. Breakfast is a weird set up & food option not great. The only decent thing about the stay was the location it was beautiful.

What a stay! Wow! Love this hotel. The stff are so nice and friendly. The room was basic but the walk to the villa is beautiful. The pool was so great and it's right next to the beach. Breakfast buffet is included. Highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel was very average. We were hoping for a Moreno luxurious stay and were quite disappointed. We had a private villa but the room was very sparse, especially the bathroom. The water had a very strong sulphur smell, which may be common on the island in general, but very little toiletries or anything of indulgence. The bed was rock hard and the pillows were huge, so not a great combo. The best part of this hotel was the pool and location, being on the quiet side of the island. Also, the breakfast was very minimal in terms of options and effort.

Had lovely time at ko phi phi because of this hotel. This hotel resort is for sure the best one near the main town. You can walk to center of the Town but o far enough from the party and eared to get a good sleep.
The restaurant looking over the beach is superb atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, the service is very good. And the atmosphere of the whole resort is great.

This resort was disgusting and should be shut down. Who is the inspector???

Lead based paint was peeling off the walls

The shower was unclean, molded and just generally unkempt. As was the fridge and everything else.

The bed was itchy and we worried about bed bugs. You could feel the springs in the old mattress. Our necks and backs were In so much pain and we are under 30 years of age.

The staff was always looking in compact mirrors, plucking their mustaches and had attitudes when you asked them questions.

There were cat fur balls and mosquitos inside of the room

This resort should not be able to legally pass inspection.

Pros: The air conditioner works. well.It was really cold in the room but it sucks because you can’t even cozy up in the blanket since it’s itchy.

The free breakfast in the morning was nice and convenient.

They take your bags back to the ferry free of charge.

The staff's English was so so. The safe has no instructions so of course it locked without being able to open. Had to get help. The hotel charges $1,000 TB for deposit for key which was only hotel on our trip to do so. When we checked out, I forgot about it and no one at desk said anything. A friend reminded me so then they gave back deposit. When I signed the book to show I received, many people didn't sign meaning they forgot too. Seems to be a money making scam.

Everything went pretty well until check out. We had to leave a 1000 baht deposit for room key. We were assured we would get it back when we returned key at check out. Last night there, the a/c unit dropped all night onto the vanity counter where our suitcases were and phones plugged in. Everything got wet. We didn't realize until we stepped into wet tiles next morn. Had to use all towels to dry floor. Towels got dirty so they didn't want to refund my money!! Had to raise 50 kinds of hell to get it back. Definitely not customer oriented!! But island and surrounding islands ... all worth it!!

Located in a quiet part of the island with a beach right in front of the property. 15 min walk from Tonsai Pier (main dock). 20 min walk to Loh Dalum Beach where you can party at night. The Aircon worked fantastic. The only complain I have is the mosquitos that gather in the washroom. The breakfast was ok. All in all, I would repeat my visit here.

We stayed there for 3 Night in Luxury Villa from 08 May-10 May. The Staff came to pick up us when we got off from the Boat and took care of our luggage. The staff welcomed by cold drinks and juice. The room was nice and clean but the bathroom looked like old. We felt like drainage smell coming out from it and water was so salty. We complained about it. The owner said that they will check it out but we had same problem. The swimming pool was small and nice, just in front of our cottage; own beach, 24 hours mini mart, ticketing office, Souvenir shop. The breakfast was Okay. Even though staff were soft and kind and trying to answer every questions as long as they
can, they hardly understand English Language.
I recommend this Resort.

WOW - what a great place to visit - you get met at wharf and walked (there are no bikes or cars here (only police, that we saw) back to the hotel. Across a pathway, the restaurant is linked to the hotel, food was delicious. Right in front of the hotel was a great place to swim, water was so clear and warm. The staff were all so warm, helpful and friendly. We only stayed one night here, but plan on coming back and spending a week minimum. Put it on your bucket list!!!

Overall I was pleased with the villa I had however it is somewhat dated, needs basic renovations and very basic even though I had a deluxe villa. I have stayed at far better and I think overall it was overpriced but that is pretty normal for Phi Phi. Breakfast was very good and the staff helpful and sociable. All in all I would stay again if needed.

If you want a prison cell with a Hugh Hefner style red couch it's a cracker.

The shower was merely a drip in fact I like to believe there a hotel member of staff pouring a water down a funnel because that would at least explain the reason how mosquitoes got in.

The bathroom not exactly an advert for better homes was tiled to waste then cemenfed with a window (with no window) separating the toilet and shower.

No irons on site a hotel for 100 and not one iron its barbaric.

Nice view, nice pool, good location.

However Europeans placing towel down at 6am taking any decent slots and don't even attempt to use communal toilet it's not been cleaned since NAM

We arrived in the middle of a storm, our Sleep Aboard ride was cancelled and we had to make check-in 1 day earlier on this Hotel. They were the best reception for us and got a room for us. Charged the same amount as we paid on hotels.com for the additional night.
There was a dead cockroach inside the bathroom box and there were some stains on the sheet, but everything apparently to be really clean. The room had a few peeling walls, but overall we loved the stay. The staff was kind and willing. P.s: Due to the bad weather, we left and went back several times to the apartment, so we left the do not disturb sign on the door. The very cute chambermaid made a little bag and left hanging at our door (2 complimentary bottles of the day, toiletpaper and extra trash bag). Not even in the best 5 star hotel has this happened to me before !!

This was very overpriced. cane out to be the most expensive hotel we had in Thailand and it didn't even come close to the standard we expect from a 3 digit price per night hotel. the only positive thing I can say is that one of their workers found my cellphone outside our room and knocked on the door and gave it to me.
we had issues with our room, when I initially told them, they said they couldn't do anything about it. so I called Hotels.com customer service line and they managed to get the hotel to correct their service.
Phi Phi in general is overpriced. I would recommend no more than 2 nights in this island.

Not bad, could be better.

The villas are right at the end of the strip but fortunately you have a helpful local to shift all your luggage to save our lazy privileged westernised legs. The staff are super helpful, normally with a smile. Gym is rusty and pointless, pool area on the other hand was quite pleasant. Breakfast was your typical Thai/Asian fare with the odd combos of stir fried veg, stir fried noodles with boiled chicken sausages and ham, that kinda stuff. The girl manning the egg station was knocking out brilliant omelettes though. My room was far enough from the restaurants to not be disturbed at night, the water had an eggy sulphur quality to it at first but that soon disappeared. The aircon lacked controls so was at full whack constantly and it was LOUD.

“Bag stolen from locked hotel room-avoid!

Near the beach, nice pool etc - but my visit was ruined by a locked bag containing a laptop etc being stolen from my locked hotel room while I was out. The next day, the bag \"mysteriously\" reappeared in the swimming pool, minus all valuables. Unless someone managed to pick the lock, and then lock it again, one of the hotel staff must have been involved. My impression, based on the reaction of the hotel management, was that this was not an isolated incident, but that they probably did not one to acknowledge that there was a problem.

This incident aside, the hotel in general is not secure. There is a path running from the villas straight down to the beach, with no CCTV, that goes nowhere near the hotel, from which the villas can be accessed. This provides an easy route for someone to try and get into one of the rooms undetected.

This kind of thing, of course, is not uncommon in Thailand, and lots of other destinations, but what separates a good hotel and a bad one is how they deal with incidents like this. In this case, among other things, the hotel manager claimed; that i must have left my room unlocked (I didn't); that I must have got drunk and left my bag outside (I didn't); that maybe my friend and roommate did it (\"how good friend is your friend\") and that maybe i threw the bag in the pool myself (you get the idea). For this reason, I won't be staying here again, and I suggest you don't either.

Avoid at all cost!

The biggest mistake of our trip! Very dirty and poorly maintained resort. The bathroom is not even painted! In the morning when you open the shower, it stinks. The mattress were in deplorable conditions and gave us a back pain- even though we asked the staff to change the mattress in the mornig, they didnt care at all! We came back to the same bad mattress at night.
They have a golden rule at this resort! You cannot wear your shoes when you go upstairs for breakfast! This practice is so unhygienic, as there were food and drinks spilt on the floor and ppl were walking over it! My question is WHY would you make yr customers walk barefoot in a place where you're serving food!!! Never seen something like that!!
The coffee cups were dirty, the 'clean' plates were greasy and the food was tasteless! Customer service is zero!
My advice to the management of this hotel is to retrain their staff abt customer care, review the comfort level of your rooms, get a few dishwashers and a new chef. Otherwise it's time to shut down this motel which you have labeled 'resort'

Worst service ever!!!

My wife and I have never seen such terrible customer service. We showed up to the hotel and waited nearly two hours to be taken to a room. That room was #1 of 4. It had two twins when we had booked a queen. They then moved us to a building at the back of the resort- not a deluxe bungalow as booked. Finally we got a deluxe bungalow but they'd pushed 2 twins together and there was a 2 inch difference in the 2 bed heights. We decided to just deal with this. We unpacked our bags before bed, then woke up the next day to a phone call saying the room we were in had been booked out and we needed to move! All this while, 3 other couples were dealing with the same thing. They charged one couple 400 baht/night for an upgraded room. Every time we asked the hotel staff for help, they just laughed at us and 90% of the time said no. The wifi was also incredibly terrible. The resort itself was in a good location- about a 20 min walk from the Tonsai nightlife, so we couldn't hear the crazy music bumping all night but we're able to walk there easily. The resort was clean and beautiful overall, and the rooms themselves were nice. Breakfast was tasty. The service was so terribly awful that it completely ruined our experience. Don't stay here!

Phi phi wasn't my cuppa

Everyone said we need to go to phi phi. COULD just gone for the day. When we checked in I was not feeling well, all I wanted was a nice bed and a cup of tea. Bed was very hard, and there wasn't a kettle to be had. It took us till 5 he second day to find out we could get hot water at the store attached to hotel. Front desk didn't offer that info, it was a fellow traveler. Strong language barrier with front desk. CARPE diem was great.

Nice pool, great view!

This hotel is situated on the beach, they have a swimming area in front of the hotel. When we got off the ferry someone from the hotel was waiting for us with a luggage cart and they carried our luggage to the hotel. That was nice because it was a ten minute walk from the pier to our hotel. The swimming pool is nice. Great breakfast buffet. The concierge was a great help, we booked our all day speed boat tour from her to Maya island, which I recommend and we booked our ferry to Krabi from her. She spoke excellent English. cabanas you can rent up front look nice, but we stayed in the hotel in the back. Our room was nice a big. But our view from our front door was a view of the sewer drainage. I would recommend they cover that so the guests can't see. But other than that it was a very nice hotel we stayed there for three nights. That was enough time to see phi phi island.

Beautiful, quiet, yet still close to the action

Phi Phi Villa was perfect for us! We wanted to be close enough to the local night-life to enjoy it but also just far enough away that a quiet night in wouldn't be spoiled by the notorious loud music on the northern beaches. This resort fit the bill and we enjoyed it immensely. A short walk to town, great staff, reasonable breakfast options, and a wonderful pool. Villas were spotless and cleaned everyday. The bathrooms have high open windows that did invite mosquitos, however the cleaning staff sprayed bug spray everyday and also on request, which was really appreciated. Villas close to the south Beach and assistance with booking tours/laundry/activities was a breeze.

Staff not very helpful having rang ahead to confirm a staff member would meet us at the Port to help with luggage decided not to turn up also asked post or stay we get assistance back to the Port as offered as a complimentary service again they said too busy - don't offer a service and not deliver. Water for tap in bathroom was terrible- breakfast Buffett not great a lot of it cold.

this hotel is the bomb! get ready for a 15/20 min walk from the pier to the hotel, its not a bad walk and its not so far, you will see a lot of what the island has to offer while walking to the hotel. When i arrived, the check-in was really great, the staff sat us down in the lounge area which is next to the pool with a nice view and some cold juice, which was great after the 2 hour ferry ride to the island... the staff was really good for my entire stay.
The pool - Very nice with a cool view and kind of private at the same time
The room - I chose a luxury villa which was great and the price even better and very private
The hotel over all - the location is great, very quiet and peaceful, specially at night. there's a bar right in front of the hotel and the beach is clean and quiet, mini-mart right next to the hotel, very convenient.

Great Hotel

Getting of the pier is a 15 to 20 min walk to the hotel, but the walk is very nice because you get to see all the shops, diving shops, tour plans, restaurants, mini markets, the beach, massage parlors, anyways you get an idea of everything you can do while you get to the hotel. The hotel is very peaceful and quiet, the pool is very nice and the beach is not crowded. the staff was very nice and helpful. the room i liked very much Luxury Villa it is worth it. the breakfast not so much but its ok. there is a nice bar in front of the hotel.

Loud air conditioning blowing directly on the bed, we had two rooms and in each the bathroom facilities didn't work properly (toilet didn't flush, water in the sink didn't go away); water smelled and tasted awfully!, very rude staff (not speaking any English), horrible breakfast with poor choice and chemical juices, restaurants in the area were not good, overall place was too expensive and not worth the money

Phi Phi Experience

Cleanliness was good- being on an island we expected some bugs and islandy traits. We came to Phi Phi Villa after reading the reviews we were expecting less then what we got however we were pleasantly surprised. Baggage collection and drop off was great. Wifi in the room not so great but we were on holidays so we weren't really fussed. Wifi great closer to lobby and pool. Good location, away from the hype but close enough to be involved if we wanted to. Pool was great! The villa is also right on the beach. Only not so great experience was the food at the restaurant on our last night, which happened to be valentines night was horrible! I did not eat even 1/4 and left it on my plate. Chicken wasn't cooked and was very sloppy. Walk those few extra metres to go elsewhere. Also the travel/tour desk assistant looked as though she didn't want to be there. Told us we were paying for a private boat and that it would pick us up at the front of hotel. Both incorrect. We had a boat of about 20 people and we had to walk back past the pier to catch it.

Close to the beach,lovely grounds ok bungalows

We stayed in a bungalow which was nice,rather worn and shabby,loved the bathroom being semi outside was lovely showering hearing the birds tweeting away,housekeeping really needs attention,we had to ask reception for our sheets to be changed after 5 days and for the outside table and floor to be cleaned as it was very sticky,the pool was spotless but could do with a few more umbrellas for the double beds which have no shade,the chill out bar called Carpe Diem by the beach was amazing ,the staff were really friendly and the food was yummy,we stayed here for 8nights and had a lovely time.

The hotel has nice well located facilities, nice pool and a good beach nearby. Lots of restaurants, bars and convenience stores around.

Downside: STAFF!!!! Unhelpful, extremely low english level, conflictive.

The A/C was not working properly one night so I went to the Front Desk looking for a solution. They sent a guy to check the A/C and his conclusion was that it was working properly nonetheless it just blew hot air. Had to go back to the reception were I got into a big argument trying to get a \"solution\" and -here comes the weird part- the ladies at the front desk had to google the meaning of the word \"SOLUTION\"!!!

Finally I could manage to get a half dead fan, so me and my girlfriend could go back to sleep.

OK Hotel in Phi Phi

The hotel lobby and pool area is nice, but the hotel 'room' is dated with mismatching coloured furniture and curtains and would look a lot nicer if it was upgraded. The 'beach' is not actually a beach area (lots of long tail boats around and it's a very small area). The water is not clear in this area, unless you take a long tail boat farther out. The 'beach' is across the little road from the hotel.

Phi Phi wasn't our favourite island, which didn't help the cause of the hotel. There were not very many hotels that we would have stayed at on Phi Phi, maybe we didn't look in the right places but this hotel and our room was NOTHING like the pictures. Be aware. We were in the smallest room, didn't feel safe, at the back of the hotel. We complained and they upgraded us one night but we still weren't really happy. Only thing good about this place is the pool and location is a little more quieter which we liked.

Nothing special for overinflated price

Overall we were let down by Phi Phi Villa Resort considering the price paid. Our room was clean but there were ants in the bathroom and outdoor shower. The patio sliding doors into the room did not close completely which meant mosquito's had free entrance. Wifi was only available in the main reception. We were told that we could purchase wifi for our room. A rip off. The breakfast was ok, nothing amazing. The dishes that were meant to be hot were only luke warm to cold each morning. Fresh fruit and juice were good. We ate in the restaurant once and paid double what we would have paid elsewhere. When the porter brought our bags to our room he quickly showed us around in broken english. He opened the mini fridge which had drinks in it and said 'no fee'. Having stayed in many hotels double checked by asking him if we pay for the drinks and again was told that 'no, you drink, no fee'. Upon check out we were informed that we did indeed have to pay for the drinks. I started to explain what had happened and the desk clerks thought it was funny and stated laughing as they thought it was amusing that we drank the drinks. I fully appreciate what can be lost in translation but they were being incredibly rude and not at all understanding. As we had to go catch a ferry I didn't have time to speak to a manager. Having known that the drinks cost we would not have touched them and instead walked the 10 min to the 7-11 where they were half the price. Be wary!
