Half the lights didn't work, could use night stands beside beds, air conditioning loud, shower head broken & only sprayer worked. Slow service in restaurant/bar. Some staff were great others were miserable. Kind of isolated from town $100 Baht for water taxi each time. Resort is very old & run down, need to spend several million to fix up. 5/10

Property needs a lot of work, inside and out. Sink handle broken, lizards running around in the rooms, and we found a worm. Next door resort saved our trip with entertainment and food. Should've stayed there 😔

You can only get to the hotel via taxi boat, which is 100 baht per person each way. The rooms really need to be upgraded, the windows had Kleenex in them to “insulate” them. No insulation between rooms, could hear everything… the beach was beautiful and looked on to other islands.

Beautiful location, however hotel needs some tlc!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the location on long beach was beautiful and peaceful. However, the rooms were very worn and need updating, and were incredibly dark to the point where we could not see sufficiently when attempting to get ready in the evenings. We had to run the shower in the bathroom for 20mins in order to get any hot water, and when it did come through it would go from scalding hot to cold consistently.

The location was excellent! The rooms were tired and need to be revamped. The Bathroom was full of flying bugs and the shower definitely needs to be improved and cleaned much better. The Main door to the villa was not safe and very flimsy. Not much space for a couple and their 13 year son to put clothes out for easy access. We enjoyed our stay but the Hotel could improove a little to make it much much better.

For us this property was perfect. It’s a short taxi boat ride from tonsai pier which will run you 100 baht. Beautiful beach which was great for snorkeling. Easy to get on a tour if you’d like or do a hike into the main town. Great staff, very friendly. The beds are a bit hard and the bathroom shower did get water all over the floor but this hotel was worth the money for us. The location and beauty is phenomenal. Located in the middle of paradise. Huge free breakfast with so many options. Nothing better than waking up and having the view of the phi phi islands that this resort has to offer. Highly recommend!

Worth it for the beach access?

I'm not the type to complain to a hotel or leave a review but in this case I had to. You can't beat the location, right on the beach, but I wish I had considered other accommodation options. For the price, I expected more. When we arrived we were informed that our room had been upgraded to a suite only to find that the double bed we required was simply two uneven and hard twin beds pushed together. When we complained about this they simply added an additional comforter for padding. Additionally, there was a large puddle in front of the bathroom sink when the receptionist showed us to our room. When I brought it to her attention, she simply suggested that the sink was leaking (obviously!) and left us there with a partially flooded bathroom. The least she could have done is sent someone to clean it up. A bit of comic relief was when a large monkey snuck into our room through the open balcony door. My own fault but once the monkey finally left we got a good laugh out of how ridiculous our situation was. This all aside we enjoyed our stay because of the proximity to the beach but I will not be staying here when I return.

Terrible hotel

I arrived to a broken pool,safe and no power in room. The manager said alot of promises and none were kept not even a cup of rice to make up for all the problems. Screaming kids next door and staff overwhelmed at dinner. There was 1 waiter for 20 tables on Valentines day. Many guests upset and right to be. I ate next door at paradise resort. Staff so friendly there. THe staff at long beach resort made no effort to book any ferrys or even assist other to say its on internet. The wifi was so slow i could not even get a email out. I booked that at paradise also. The pool is ancient and dirty. They have good view but I saw so many unwashed dishes laying around. The breakfast chef had a long line because he only had one tiny skillet size of desert plate. Just terrible experience there all around. Worst hotel in phi phi dont go there go next door. They dont clean your room either when your staying there.

Beautiful Island, below average accommodation

Long Beach on Phi Phi is stunning, a real tropical paradise. The location of the hotel is excellent however during our stay there were several issues. 1. Boat transfer promised via email but didn’t happen. 2. Beds are very uncomfortable 3. Breakfast staff were rude (refused to let me have a banana of all things!) 4. Bed was made but sheets weren’t changed on several occasions 5. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned daily 6. General wear and tear, however for the price the rooms should be of a higher standard. 7. Water in taps and toilet a yellow color on last day of stay. 8. Black mold on chair. 9. New towels did not smell fresh... basically avoid this place there are far nicer options on long beach.

Unfortunately we had an all round poor experience at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort & Villa in December 2017. Foremost grievance was that the hotel doesn't say only cold water is available in the room. On arrival our room also had a blocked toilet + there was a 5 hour period (unrelated to blocked toilet) when no water was available at the hotel. Disappointed given the high $'s we spent.

Best Beach in the World.

20 seconds from the best beach in the world, it doesn't get better than that. The staff work so hard to make sure everything is effortless for you. We loved every minute and were heart broken to leave. Can't wait to return again and hope we get the chance.

Great, quiet spot

Great location. I loved this end of the beach.

The rooms left a little to be desired in the quality of building: the bathroom door could not close all the way because it wasn't hung properly, the door to the room had gaps big enough to let bugs in.

The pool was clean and nice. Breakfast was great. The restaurant and bar were overpriced.

A bit disappointing.

The staff was polite and the location is on a beautiful beach away from all the noise of Tonsai. The walk to Tonsai was quite enjoyable.

The rooms are the problem. During check-in there is someone to help take your luggage up the steep hill and climb the path to the steep stairs up to the room. When checking out, you're on your own. It's quite the climb. It was hard and we ended up sweating our way down to check out.

The decor was simple and clean which I loved but the walls were painted neon green. It was terrible and gives a cheap feel unecessarily.

The hotel grounds have extremely poor wifi. I don't know if that is standard in the island. I didn't mind but it's good to know.

The room itself was cleaned nicely but the bathroom drain had such a strong raw sewage odor coming up. It was nauseating and at times reminded me of a portable toilet on a construction site. They sent someone to \"spray\". We felt that wasn't enough and wanted to switch but they asked us to wait a few hours to see if anyone else checked out. We didn't want to waste the morning not knowing if we would be able to change rooms so we kept the room and had to air it out regularly.

The beds were terribly hard, like sleeping on concrete. I've never experienced such a hard mattress. We actually had back and neck pain by the third night and were ready to go.

The makings of a great place to stay

Stayed 4 bites, great spot on long beach, with clean rooms and hard bed.
The staff running the resort do not have a lot of experience in running a hotel or catering for guests. They don't serve cocktails at all, most of the villa's and Superior rooms were empty yet they still were charging $250+ Aud on trip advisor, breakfasts minimal, if on paleo food same things everyday.
Upside great beach location and day beds, book the bungalows instead of villas, will go back.

Very average!

Very poor wifi! Everything was very average! Customer service poor, restaurant quality is marginal! Getting here was a big hassle especially if you have luggage. On pier, they the long tail taxi people do not listen to where you want to go. We were dropped on the other end of long beach. We called this hotel to arrange for a transfer but they refused. Will not recommend coming here.

Perfect spot on the beach.

Neat hotel on a perfect spot on long beach, easy to get a long boat into town (can walk but the track is very rough). Service at the restaurant when we had lunch was pretty average food was great though, so we ate at nearly places, the bar next door at The Beach was our favorite spot. Breakfast was OK. The location was quiet, so great for us as we wanted peace & to relax.

Pleasant stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort &Villa

We stayed at the resort for 9 days. It wasn't my first choice bu presently surprised at the facilities. The rooms were clean with the normal amenities you'd expect. Staff were very helpful although communications was somewhat difficult at times because of the language barrier. Staff were quick to get someone with better English to attend. The food was good and reasonably priced so we ate there most days. The only negotiate comments I have are about the power and Internet. Power was off from 6-7am and from 4-5pm. By the end of our trip it was going off from 1-3pm as well and I'm not sure why. This was thoroughly annoying particularly when it's hot, no aircon or TV but you found something else to do. Internet was slow but functional. Al in all, a pleasant stay Punctuated by frustration over power outages and Internet issues.

Abseiling required

This is really difficult to review as I know that the time of year we went (August) is not the best time and I can imagine it being absolutely beautiful and easy to access during the high season. Let me start from the beginning. We got off the ferry at the pier and found lots of people from other hotels on the pier ready to meet guests. (Ours wasn't) We asked for a taxi to the hotel and was told you can only get a water taxi but on the day we got there the waves were fairly high (we didn't think they were but again we took advice of the locals) the water taxi man said he could drop us off near the hotel and we could walk the remaining 5 minutes up a little hill and back down the other side. We agreed and set off. The hill was fairly big when we got there but what we found after that was absolutely incredible. \"The path\" down to the beach (the only access) is down the most dangerous \"path\" ever. You literally have to abseil down (it's really dangerous and pitch black) Be aware of this if the taxi boat can't take you directly to the hotel! If it can then great. The hotel itself is nice enough and the rooms are good. If you want to have a quiet place to relax this is the place as there is very little around (a few other hotels). We trekked the half an hour walk through the jungle to get to the main area. Sorry for the long review but thought people should know.

Direkte Strandlage mit wunderschönen Ausblick. Unterkunft war mit Pool. Große Unterkunft mit gemütlichem Bett. Das einzige was unbedingt nötig ist, die Sanierung des Badezimmer.

Hotelværelset lugter dårligt. Der er larm og kraftig hashlugt. Døren gader så der kan komme myg og kryb ind. Der lugter af brændt elektricitet på værelset og opladere bliver overvarme i stik med stor bekymring for brændbare. Ud fra vores værelse kan vi kigge ind under den skraldeplads der er under hele hotellet. Der lugter af skrald og rotter og der ligger en gammel kasseret tank foran værelset. Poolen har for lidt vand, ingen standstole. Ved indtjekning beder 5 dage af opholdet.

Vi hadde et kjempe fint opphold på Long Beach Resort & Villa. Eneste jeg kan utsette noe på er som andre skriver at det bærer preg av slitasje og manglende vedlikehold. Renholdet har også et forbedringspotensiale.

Stranden er bra ikke hotellet

Som flere skriver, fant de ikke vår bestilling. Etter litt tid fikk vi likevel rom. Vi skulle ha med lite basseng. Det var nesten tomt og måtte bli renset og fylt opp. Første dagen ble brukt til det. Rommet/ bungalowen var ikke veldig ren, lag med støv på vegger og bord. Vinduer møkkete. Badet veldig slitt men bra trykk i dusjen. Ekstra seng var en madrass på gulvet, men mykere enn hovedsengen. Kjøleskap ble ikke helt kaldt. Aircondition virket bra. Bassengområdet og basseng er helt utdatert, ikke solsenger og absolutt ikke til å bruke. Det er ikke noe å kjøpe på hotellet, helt dødt. I prøvde ikke restauranten på kvelden da så dødt ut. Heller ikke lunsj. Få steder rundt du får kjøpt mat og drikke.
Frokosten er faktisk helt ok. Greit utvalg og god på smak,
Vi leste på Google om et eldre europeisk ektepar som går rundt og passer på. Her må vi si oss enige. Du har en følelse av at de følger med på alt du gjør og de blander seg gjerne i hva som skjer. De oppleves faktisk ganske så forstyrrende.
Beliggenhet: noe av det beste. Fantastisk strand og vann. Her svømmer du i fisk og sanden er nydelig. Det gjorde at vårt opphold var supert. Det er kun stranden som drar opp her. Kort vei inn med longtail båt, så det at ligger utenfor byen går helt fint.

Old hotel, needs a renovation. Staff so friendly

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is pretty old and especially the bathroom needs a renovation. We had bugs coming out of the drain. The aircon is also too old and needs a replacement, it takes forever for the room to become comfortable. The cleaning could be a bit better, especially sweeping the floors. Breakfast is very so-so, nothing special.
The beach is superb and just by the hotel, water and sand is excellent, best thing about our stay,

Too Expensive!

Stayed 4 Nights in November 2022.
The Accomodation Was dissapointing and Way too expensive compared to What you get. We payed 118 Us dollar for 2 adults and a child 1,5 year Per Night. The place should have cost the half. The place is dirty and toilet facilitets discusting. Breakfeast a bit borring and you could not buy anything to eat or drink. Perfect location Right on the Beach and a Big tree to provide shaddow which is the only positive thing to mention.

El personal es muy grosero, nada atentos, no te atienden hasta acabarse su cigarrillo, rentan los camastros a otras personas externas al hotel y al querer utilizar uno como huésped del hotel no hay disponibles y la comida del del desayuno súper mala.

青い海と居心地のいい部屋

ホテルの目の前には、真っ青な海が広がり日々表情に変化が現れる。ビーチ沿いの散歩が日々の日課であった。スタッフはフレンドリーで、私たちがお願いした要望に応えようと努力してくれる。ロケーションはロングビーチのため、往路はトンサイベイから自分自身でボートで向かう必要があるが（私の乗ったときは２人で３００バーツ）復路は、ホテルの決めたスケジュールなら無料でトンサイベイまでボートを出してもらえる。一日に３便ある。このホテルのレストランのみならず、他のホテルのレストランを合わせると、ロングビーチに計５～６軒のレストランがあり、また小さなバーも営業していて、それなりにおいしい食事をとることができる。おすすめのホテルだ。

Hôtel très agréable

Séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel en février 2018. Chambres très spacieuses, très propres et très confortables. Personnel agréable et disponible pour sa clientèle. Petit déjeuner en buffet copieux. Service de taxis boat gratuit pour les transferts entre le port de Tonsaï et l’hôtel à l’arrivée et au départ.

Traumhafter Strand, geschmackvolle Zimmer

Direkt am wunderschönen long beach gelegen, traumhafter Strand allerdings einwenig ausserhalb des Zentrums.
Die Zimmer (die neueren) sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, wir hatten eines mit privatpool auf der Terrasse... Es gibt nichts schöneres als dort den Abend ausklingen zu lassen.. Das Wasser im Pool wurde täglich gewechselt..Die Zimmer wurden ebenfalls täglich gereinigt.
Wifi hat super und überall funktioniert...

Punktabzuge gabs für:
- nicht so gutes Frühstück, nachfüllen des Buffets hat manchmal etwas gedauert, jeden Tag das selbe essen... Es war nicht grauenhaft, man wurde satt, aber für den Preis haben wir mehr erwartet
- Einige Monturen im Bad waren etwas wackelig. Auch hier keine grosse Sache, aber bei einem Hotel der höheren Preisklasse nicht angemessen
- Die Hotelmangerin (oder soetwas in der Art, ich weiß nicht genau wer die Frau war ) lief ständig auf dem Gelände rum und kontrollierte die Mitarbeiter. In ihrer Anwesenheit fühlten sich nicht nur die Mitarbeiter gestresst sondern auch ich als Gast, da ihr Gesichtsausdruck schlechte Laune verbreitete...
- Entfernung zum Stadtzemtrum der Insel. Nur durch den Dschungel oder mit dem taxi boot zu erreichen, welches etwas teuer wird. Um das Hotel herum gibts leider nur uberteuerte Resorts restaurants und einen kleinen Supermarkt. Aber das ist wohl der Preis den man zahlt um am Long beach zu wohnen ;)
