The Hotel is totally constructed of natural material, mainly bamboo.. so don’t expect the Hilton. The staff are friendly and polite. The rooms are as in images available. The Pool and Restaurant are good. It is right on the beach, tucked in a corner.
Now bad news. About 600m away is the Ibiza Beach Party Venue. The noise starts at 8pm and ceases around 4am. It is very intrusive and the Resort has to issue earplugs.
This is not any fault of this or any other hotel on the Island, but severely impacts on any stay.
A great resort, spoiled by another business.

Location is good, being at the end of the beach on the other side to the harbour. Noise from the bars is ridiculously loud until 3 in the morning but that’s not the resorts fault. Fellow guests each side ruined a goodnights sleep but the island is full of young people. Would have stayed fewer nights

What a beautiful resort- this hotel deserves to be called 5-star. Great cabana style villas, beautiful pool area with gorgeous views of the water & island. Massage right on the beach & very courteous staff.

Major bonus points for complimentary luggage pickup and drop off service at the pier.

Coco beach was beautiful! Ended my stay early because it was so loud at night, wasn’t able to sleep. It was in the fine print after booking but should have been shared earlier before booking in my opinion. Also, staff & experience was lovely during my one night but at the restaurant for dinner, the staff forgot my order & I waited for over an hour for my meal. Didn’t have the best experience but was a beautiful property overall. Just know it is loud at night with the club & bars nearby, bring earplugs!

We had a wonderful stay at Coco Beach Resort in Koh Phi Phi. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk from the pier, and the staff take care of your luggage both on arrival and departure, which makes everything effortless. Everyone we met was incredibly polite and accommodating, always going out of their way to help. The rooms looked exactly like in the photos and were kept in top-notch condition throughout our stay. The setting is stunning, and we really appreciated the beautiful pool as well as the free kayaks and paddle boards, which made exploring the island even more special.

If there’s one minor drawback, it’s that some music from nearby beach clubs can be heard at night. However, we didn’t find it too distracting, and the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs. The island is quite small, so it’s hard to avoid music altogether anywhere you stay.

The only real downside for us was the food. As vegans/vegetarians, we found the options quite limited and not very satisfying. The chef did try to accommodate us, but the dishes ended up being very simple, mostly grilled or fried vegetables. During our stay, the resort hosted a special dinner for Loy Krathong, and even though we had informed them of our dietary needs in advance, vegan options weren’t really taken seriously — so we decided not to join the dinner. This is definitely an area that could be improved.

Ill start by saying we have stayed here several times and will stay here again. Love the pool area/massage on deck/bar happy hour/close proximity to all tours, restaurants, nightlife. Its why most come to phi phi and this place is clean and sanitary with exceptional staff. We were able to enjoy breakfast daily and then go on any tour at our pace followed by relaxing in the pool. The local cats are awesome and we are glad people are kind at this location. Typical thai huts on beatiful sand. Not the largest but they have everything you need. Anyone complaining about noise has never stayed in phi phi. You can not stay anywhere in tonsai harbour area and avoid night time noise period. If you want quiet, saii and new outrigger/old zeavola are a 20 min boatride to the other side of the island. Great options for relaxation but not for excursions or having to pay for boat transport everytime you'd like to revisit the city. If you are looking for best hotel in the actual bay, this is it.

Lovely pool area, delicious buffet breakfast, the huts are really nice & clean.

I found the location a bit of a downfall as it’s far away from everything and always felt like an effort to go anywhere.

The noise of the music across the bay didn’t really bother us, the sound of people in nearby huts was more annoying at times as the walls are very thin. The hotel gives you ear plugs which help a lot.

Overall though it was a very pleasant stay.

Large pool with a beachfront, unfortunately the beach is only swim able when the tide is high but when it is you can use a kayak or paddle board. The room includes two beds and a bathroom in a medium sized bamboo cabana. Extremely loud noise from the beach bars every night till 3am!!!

Only Hotel on main Phi Phi with private beach access, amazing food, wonderful rooms. Out of 20 years visiting Thailand this my best hotel experience. Everything is in walking distance, hotel has free kayaking, snorkeling gear, and their own long boats you can rent for private tours. Daily breakfast was my best experience with free breakfast in Thailand. The pool was super clean and a pleasure everyday with plenty of lounge chairs. Only issue was the island bar music could be heard at night but that is the same with the main part of Phi Phi island. Amazing hotel and just as amazing staff. The food was the best we found on the island.

The staff and cleanliness of the hotel, I cannot fault. The staff were absolutely incredible. They are very attentive. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The one thing that hugely let the hotel down was the noise (bass music from a bar down the beach) at night. It was unbearable and ran from 6.30pm until around 3.30am each night. Even ear plugs failed to block out this noise. As a result, I have barely slept the past three nights. I appreciate this is not the hotel’s fault but it sadly really let the stay down. Other than that it would have been absolutely perfect.

The property is great and the bungalows are really cute, but if you are hoping to get a good nights rest I would pick another hotel. Across the water is a bar and they were playing music until 230am. You could hear everything in the bungalow so we got no sleep. We had ear plugs and those helped, but you could still hear everything. You can also hear all the conversations around your bungalow.

Honestly, this is the best resort in Phi Phi Island. If you want a bamboo hut experience then this is your place. It’s about 10 minute walk to centre hub so that’s convenient. Yes, it is loud at night but it’s expected because there are a lot of tourists, especially young tourists. I did not get sleep the first night but I didn’t mind because the second night I was knocked out lol. I suggest the ear plugs provided. It helps. I would definitely stay here again since all the staff were so hospitable and friendly. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. If we were unsure of something, they would have the answers or at least try to help you. I thought their breakfast buffet was amazing. My family and I had a good time. Don’t be hesitant to pick this resort/hotel, you won’t regret it. Thank you CoCo Beach Resort!

The noise levels from nearby properties are terrible, with loud music until the early hours of the morning. While sitting at the pool area a monkey entered the resort after being chased down the beach by a staff member. I was subsequently scratched, the advice from the staff by the pool was as it was a scratch I didn’t need any further treatment. Luckily I went to seek medical advice and had to have a course of rabies vaccinations. This was reported to the hotel but nobody checked in to see how I was or acknowledged staff needed to give better advice to guests if this should happen again. The pool area could do with renovation lots of chipped tiles, the breakfast buffet was covered with flies

We truly can’t say enough good things about this hotel. It felt like a little slice of heaven tucked away in the middle of the beautiful chaos that is Koh Phi Phi. We were a bit hesitant after reading reviews about the noise, and while yes—it was definitely noticeable at times and we did have a couple of rough nights of sleep—it was absolutely worth it for how stunning the resort was.

We stayed in the 100 section, which is right by the pool and beach, so I imagine being closer to the bay probably made the noise more noticeable. If you’re traveling with a family or are especially sensitive to noise, I’d recommend requesting a room closer to the lobby—those are more tucked into the resort and likely a bit quieter.

One of the coolest surprises was that the hotel plays movies by the pool every night, and you can even catch the fire shows happening across the bay—such a fun bonus. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and didn’t want to be in the heart of the party scene in Tonsai, but still wanted to be close enough to walk into town for a change of pace and some cheap eats. This hotel hit that sweet spot perfectly.

The bamboo huts were way cleaner and cozier than I expected—super charming and comfortable. The hotel also arranged a private longtail boat tour for us around the Phi Phi Islands (cushions and all!) for only 4,000 baht for six hours, which was such a highlight.

All in all, such an incredible stay—highly recommend!

Hotel was lovely to chill during the day pool really nice staff friendly, but didn’t sleep a single wink due to the fact there’s a nightclub open over the water that is open till 3am every night of the week and playing loud music all night long. Due to this the hotel became abit of a pain and I was glad that I was only here for 1 night and not for the whole of my stay in Thailand.

It was a lovely hotel with great views and location, however there were a few downsides such as the air conditioning blowing out warm air and not powerful at all so as you can imagine trying to sleep was unbearable, there is also a bar across the way from the hotel which plays DJ loud music until 3 am every night. There is also a monkey which repeatedly came into our hotel and caused havoc by attacking people, stealing people’s belongings from their sunbeds and causing general disruption.

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming little resort. The casitas are perfect for a couple but would be too small for a family. We really enjoyed the restaurant as well. They have a great pool and a beach just steps away from the pool. I read a lot of reviews complaining about noise, there were bars accross the bay playing music until the early hours each morning. You could hear the base but I could never make out the song. I only heard it when I woke up at night to use the bathroom....it did not effect my sleep in any way! Phi Phi Island has a lot of bars with loud music but the side of the bay that this resort is on is very quite at night. I would be happy to stay here again.

Coco Beach is a very nice hotel. We stayed in a cabin in the front with a view of the beach and pool area. And we are very pleasant by that.
The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was nice and the level of service was high.
We did know that Phi Phi is a loud island. But it is sad that the noise from the bars on the beach is that loud. And the walls of rooms at Coco Beach are very thin.
But overall we recommend the hotel.

However, it’s worth noting that access involves navigating four to five uneven steps, which may be a consideration for those with mobility concerns.

The pool area is a highlight, offering a serene and well-maintained space with ample sun loungers and a convenient poolside bar. Adjacent to the pool, the hotel’s restaurant serves a generous buffet breakfast, complete with a wide variety of options, including eggs made to order—an ideal way to start the day.

Despite these appealing aspects, the hotel does have one notable drawback: noise. The rooms lack soundproofing, and the surrounding nightlife brings loud music well into the early hours, often persisting until 2–3 a.m. For those staying near the back of the property, early morning staff activity adds another layer of disturbance, with noise starting as early as 7 a.m.

While the hotel itself is lovely, with friendly staff and great amenities, the lack of nighttime tranquility may be a dealbreaker for light sleepers. For traveler's who prioritise atmosphere and service over absolute quiet, it remains a compelling choice.

We stayed in Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort for three nights. It is an amazing tropical oasis and we would come back again. Resort is clean, beautiful and people are great. They picked up our luggage at the pier and brought it to the Resort. Huts are cute with very comfortable beds, strong AC and good shower. Huts are not well sound proof but it did not bother us. We booked two units and the huts were at the end of the row. So less people walked by our units and less noise during a day or at night. We knew about loud music at night from the bay so we brought ear plugs from home. We slept peacefully every night. It did not bother us a bit. Phi Phi Island is beautiful tropical island and I wanted to stay in bamboo huts and not a regular hotel rooms. No regrets. Thank you Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort for your hospitality. These were great three days.

The minute we walked into reception to check in, we were welcomed warmly and made to feel at home. The staff so polite and attentive. The bungalows were rustic and made from natural materials. The sustainability criteria for this hotel was very high and we appreciated all the detail that was taken to keep the environmental impact so low. The breakfast spread was the best we’ve ever come across and the view equally as rewarding. The pool area was relaxing with some areas in the sun and some areas in the shade, along with the swim up pool bar and pool side snack menu, everything was catered for. The night lighting is also splendid around the complex.
There is some noise of an evening, which of course we were warned of in advance and at the time of booking. Everything else tipped the balance for us and we just had to accept that to enjoy this hotel, we were obliged to contend with this minor problem.

Everything is way to far, you don’t even want to go out and drink because it’s a loooonnngggg walk back. It would make sense for them to instal a walkway by the beach. Wish we knew how far it was, we would have booked somewhere else. I would hate to go in the summer.

They charge a service fee, so you don’t have to tip. Also if you’re at the pool relaxing, they will not ask if you need another drink or anything you have to go to the bar and get it. Also if they see that there are empty plates by you they won’t take them, you have to ask them to clean it up . I’m not to sure what the service fee is for :/ Also we turned 2 towels in from other guest that just left them on the chairs and we went to go pick 2 towels up for ourselves,well they got after us. Like uhm mindblown, we were just trying to do the right thing.

Drinks are OK, not worth the $. Also no microwaves in the room (I’m assuming so that you have to order from their restaurant, which is kinda pricey IMO.)

The breakfast is good, but you have to get there early for it to be fresh.

Overall it’s a cute place but I wouldn’t pay more than like $75 a night.

Lovely bamboo chalet type property. But the music until late is awful. No one made us aware until we got a note in the room! Luckily we were only staying 2 nights, but considered moving after night 1!

First the good:
-this place is beautiful , if you arrive at the ferry there will be an employee with the hotel cart and he’ll push your luggage for you to the property. The staff was lovely. The room are small but super cool and make you feel like you are on an island. The pool is great, pool bar makes superior cocktails. You can use the kayaks to go to monkey beach which is super fun!
Now for the bad: the beach is kind of gross, not sure if it’s because of it location in the bay but it’s mainly just standing water. Finally the most important thing you must know before booking is that you won’t be able to sleep. The noise from the bars on the beach is so loud you ll feel it in your guts! Plus it’s techno so it mostly sounds like a malfunctioning car engine!no melody ! It’s so loud even ear plugs don’t. Cover it!

The property is like a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. The bamboo cabins are just lush. The free canoeing for an hour and facilities are something to take advantage of. I would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant resort

Brilliant resort. Rooms comfy, cosy and clean. Staff exceptional. As noted by other reviews, there was noise at night but nothing that a reasonable person would complain about, considering the resort facilities on offer. Wonderful food, pool, bar and location make it a must visit

Amazing property!
Like being transported to Gilligan's Island. The room was clean, comfortable and adorable. Wi-Fi and TV were reliable. The grounds are delightful. My daughter and I slept well and didn't hear anything from the neighbouring parties.The receptionist 'Bally' was so charming and polite. We loved it here, we wished we'd stayed longer. The restaurant has fantastic food, big selection and super affordable prices
