Great stay in a very convenient location, with plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was extremely helpful, and they even went out of their way to help me resolve an issue with my bicycle, which I really appreciated.

Le déjeuner était un déjeuner traditionnel costaricien : Pinto gallo avec œufs brouillés et fruits frais. C’était très bon, bien que 4 matins d’affilée, ça peut devenir redondant! Il n’y avait pas beaucoup de pression dans la douche, mais je sais que partout au pays c’est un peu partout ainsi… tout était très bien à mon sens! Un bel espace sécurisé également pour la voiture, c’était très apprécié!

The staff was courteous, the breakfast always hit the spot and they were very responsive when you called them for anything. The A/C worked and you wont really need to use the television, but its there. The shower heater in my room was on its way out, however I was able to shower with warm water, which is better than other countries I've been too. Their proximity is everything you'll need to food, shopping and the beach. Secured behind a gate and off the beaten path you’ll enjoy your stay and time.

Three days of authentic local immersion. The rooms are very nice and individually unique with modern flare.

The staff is awesome! The space is very communal with people from all background present. Good and friendly conversations and met new people!!

It is close enough to Lidia’s Place, world known for its excellent Caribbean food and Jamaican flair, that I could get there holding my breath from Hotel Infiniti to Lidia’s. In a short, five minute walk to the active areas for the beach, grocery shopping, electronics, ATM and much more.

The AC is cool, the water is hot, and they are very accommodating. I will stay there again.

The complimentary breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, the perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore. The hotel has a unique, eclectic vibe that feels both stylish and relaxed—charming without trying too hard.

Located just three blocks from the beach, it’s close enough for easy access yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to truly unwind. Plus, you’re steps away from excellent restaurants and lively bars, so everything you need is right there.

This place strikes the perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and character. If you’re looking for a clean, welcoming stay with personality and a prime location, this boutique hotel checks every box. Highly recommend.

No frills room, a place to sleep.

This is a basic hotel, no frills. We stayed for 3 nights to be in town after being on Playa Negra for 3 nights. Beds and bathroom are basic but suffice. Hot water is questionable, but honestly a nice cool shower after sweating all fay is fine by me. Breakfast was adequate, check in was smooth. Other reviewers noted the lack of tv (we had room 8, a king bed with balcony) but we didn't even use the tv in the beachfront hotel, so not a big deal to us. Wifi was stable. Security seemed ok, although the balcony door didn't lock and door too room was flumsy and being eaten by carpenter ants. But all was what we expected for the cost.

Stayed at the traditional house/apartment that has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. All three bedrooms have air conditioning. The living, kitchen areas and bathrooms do not have AC. There are a few bugs/insects around which is to be expected but they don’t bother you. Note that Breakfast is No Longer offered by them or included in the room rate which was disappointing. Otherwise a good property - reasonably clean and in a very good location in Puerto Viejo.

Very very ordinary, not a tower

Room #8 is clean but tired (lots of chipped paint, loose tiles). Very sombre. No decoration on the walls not even a sad mass-produced framed poster. No TV. No drinking glasses. Bed was very, very hard. It's only two stories high, not a tower at all. Hotel has 0 amenities and 0 public spaces. It's 3 blocks from downtown and beach so easily walked to restaurants, bars, shops, laundry.

The hotel is in a great location, seems like you are in a rainforest. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic and the staff was great. You can walk everywhere. The hotel is clean and refreshed however you can still tell they have things to do…ie. the shower head was hanging from a rope, there wasn’t a mini fridge and no tv.

It is a very clean place with a very nice breakfast it is clean and staff is friendly very good for the price. My only dislikes it was a basement room (no balcony per description) water pressure temperature is terrible. Again very nice place for the price.

great rooms. my room had the biggest bed ive ever seen, with ac, a fan, a large shower and a perfect little private patio. Only a five minute walk from the main part of town and the beach. Breakfast was good but not the most flavourful. There wasn't always staff at the reception counter and they won't be there if you check in after 8.

Good hotel, fantastic breakfast!

Great hotel room, spacious with a little outdoor balcony. It got noisy around 6am from the Kitchen, but otherwise a nice stay. Breakfast was lovely, onsite parking was easy, and we were able to check in late at night which was appreciated.

None of the staff spoke English.
The room didn’t look any close to the pictures in the site.
The light in the room didn’t work when we entered the room and after they “fixed” it, it wouldn’t turn off.
The WiFi was very slow.
The room wasn’t clean and full of all kinds of bugs all over the place.
There was no hot water.
The double bed was small and very(!!!) uncomfortable.
The was a lot of noise all day long and until late at night.
The safe that was in the room didn’t work.
There were exposed electric wires all over the room.

We had much higher hopes for this property going into our stay. It was definitely more expensive than some of the other hotels we researched but we had read good reviews and we wanted a nicer place to stay. The hotel is in a good location and the rooms are nice enough, but the WiFi only worked for one out of the 4 days we were there. For a couple traveling, this was not ideal at all. On our last day, we had a fun surprise of not being able to use the water in our room because it was brown.. the water pressure was really bad the entire stay but brushing our teeth with water from our water bottles the last night definitely put this review over the top. The concierge was very friendly and the property otherwise clean but I would not recommend to stay here.

Good hotel, but can hear neighbors.

The Sea Tower is really well located, 2 blocks back from the main road. Our room was simple and nice, plus looked like we were the first to stay there. At 10:00 the people staying next to us came home and had very loud sex. We could hear every word and sound, so there was really no privacy. After 1.5 hours of that, I want to the front desk to see what we could do but there was no one working. You will feel like your staying with the other guest, but a nice room.

2 blocks from the main street and yet in a lovely location. Everything i.e. beach, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, bus terminal is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We booked an economy room for 1 night but upgraded to and aircon room upon arrival. We liked the place so much we stayed for another 6 nights. I liked the daily housekeeping and free coffee all day long. There was also a communal dining area and a kitchen which we didn't use because when you're on holidays there's no time for cooking. Wifi was strong. Lots of shelves and hanging space to place your belongings. Bathroom was spacious with hot water. We stayed in room 14 with a private balcony which was very pleasant to enjoy a glass of wine and listening to the sounds of different birds. Would definitely recommend this place. A very quiet place at night and the owners were very pleasant and accomodating

Bauernfängerei - wir haben dieses Hotel für unseren Aufenthalt an der karibischen Küste gewählt und uns extra für ein etwas teureres entschieden, weil wir dachten, wir wären direkt / nah an einem der traumhaften Strände. Erwartet hat uns ein Hotel mitten in der Stadt Puerto Viejo, 4 blocks vom Meer entfernt, mit Bildern auf der Seite von Stränden 8 km (Punta Uva) entfernt. Für das Geld hätten wir weitaus andere schönere Hotels buchen können. Außerdem war das Zimmer nicht so wie angegeben gepflegt, Sicht vom Balkon auf Wellblechdächer, vom Nachbarn oben drüber gab es abends eine Dusche, weil das Bad überschwemmt wurde, den Nachbarn nebenan konnte man beim Atmen hören, in der Parallelstraße gabs eine Baustelle (auch abends) und das warme Wasser im Bad war entweder kochend heiß oder eiskalt.

Kwaliteit en comfort ten opzichte van de prijs klopt niet helemaal.
Weinig comfort, airco hangt verkeerd (je ligt precies in de tocht en airco kan schoner). Zeker als je gevoelig bent voor airco’s niet hier verblijven… ben al weken aan het hoesten
