The room quality is very, very good and the hotel itself is beautiful. But the real stand out is the staff! Especially the restaurant staff. They are so helpful and accommodating. I truly felt important to them and they took very good care of me and my family. The game room is amazing as well, my daughter met some new friends there and had an amazing experience. We will definitely be back!

Great location and a clean hotel with a friendly staff. We had a fantastic sea-view from the balcony. Room was huge with a space to chill on a double sofa as well as quiet balcony. Queen bed good to share and everyone will have a good night sleep.
Plenty of options for breakfast, including healthy choices like fresh fruits or chia seeds for healthy eaters. Hot breakfast included in price (fresh omelettes and pancakes made while you wait).
Hotel staff was very friendly however at busy times unable to serve all for breakfast and on some occasions some food/plates/mugs/cutlery etc were missing. No options for HB or All inclusive but they have restaurant on site.
One negative part was that hotel was situated on top of the hill so to go to the beach or restaurants it is a bit of the climbing so not for all abilities nor children.

We had a really lovely stay! The hotel itself is great — the pool, restaurant, gym, and parking are all excellent.

The location is on top of a hill, so getting an Uber is the easiest way to get into town or to the beach (it’s only about €3–5). The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to the beach (it’s a car, not a bus), which is super convenient. Walking isn’t really an option since there’s no proper path.

The restaurant food — especially from the daytime and evening menu — is fantastic, and breakfast was also good.

Our room was a bit dark, and on our last night the water pressure and hot water stopped working, which was a shame. For families, there’s a small kiddie pool (though it was quite cold) and a kids’ room, but not a ton of activities for little ones. It would be amazing if they added a small playground and more water features in the kiddie pool — that would make it perfect for families with toddlers!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back — especially if there were a few more kid-friendly features ☺️

Everything was amazing, especially restaurant staff was incredible supporting. General manager, Rodrigues was truly great in accommodating our request to cook rice (which was not on menu) for our 2 year old son, not once, twice. Even Ryan and other team members at restaurant were amazing both during breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Highly recommend this hotel if you travelling with kids, will come again.

Hotel ok, not really value for money in my opinion, the breakfast was good but could be a little better, hot food is a little lukewarm. What does makes the hotel good are the staff, who are very friendly and helpful. Hotel no longer has free mini bar, so that needs removing from the description. We found the rooms to be spacious, and very clean, but also quite noisy, metal door into corridor slamming very loudly often early and late at night. Free shuttle, tried ringing as instructed, told we needed to book so would have to wait 2 hours for a lift back! We didn’t try again. Pool area is nice, good reasonable bar service, nice sunbeds, very cold pool.

Sesimbra family vacation

The service was great, the check-in was smooth. The rooms where clean and really nice. The A/C worked well. We used the shuttle to the beach offered by the hotel and that was not the most efficient service. One of the driver didn’t seem to enjoy his job and was not offering a good service. We also had to get a taxi(bolt) from the beach to the hotel because the shuttle was not available, like they told us. They also seem to be more accommodating if you speaked Portuguese. The last day we where there, we took the shuttle and got another driver, he was really nice and made sure everything was perfect. I would of hope to have this last driver for all my rides. Beside the shuttle service that was not on par with the rest, everything was great. The restaurant was great and the breakfast was excellent.

The room had no functioning AC and it was very hot. Desapointment considering the price we paid for the room. Although the staff at reception was very kind and helpful. Some staff at the restaurant were not very friendly or attentive and seemed annoyed everytime we needed something. They seemed much friendlier with Guests who spoke portugese. We are canadian and we recieved not in the same fashion. Dinner buffet was very expensive at 32euros for the food that was there.....it was not quality food and always the same every night....also the price didnt include water to drink. Overall the resort, pool and the room for very nice. But all the rest was average.

The Four Points Sheraton was a clean & friendly Hotel exactly what you would expect from a Sheraton. The cleaning was of a high standard and the restaurant waiting on staff were very helpful. The room was recently refurbished the only criticism was a the small bathroom. The complimentary shuttle to & from the beach was a bonus especially as there is a steep hill walk when returning from the lovely sandy beach. The Receptionist staff were helpful & arranged this for you if you required it. It is a quiet beach resort with plenty of authentic restaurants & bars.

This was a lovely clean hotel within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the staff was great. However, the restaurant was not good. They mixed up our reservations and the food was cold and tasteless. Breakfast was however good.

After checking in at 7:30pm, my partner and I went to bed early for a dive trip the next day. At 11:30pm, we were rudely awoken by a call from reception, asking who was in the room and informing us we were in the wrong room and would need to move the next day. Despite explaining we’d be gone all day, they said they would move our belongings which made us feel uncomfortable.

The disturbance ruined our sleep, and when we tried to complain the next morning and check our stuff would not be moved, no manager was available until later that day. The manager did offer a sincere apologyand after some pressing offered us 20% off the first night, but I found the compensation inadequate given the disruption.

The hotel is nice, clean and most of the staff we encountered were friendly, however our experience on the first night cast a shadow over the rest of the trip.

Had to wait well beyond the check-in time of 4pm for our room to be ready, which when you’ve been travelling feels like a very long time.
Our biggest issue however was our room wasn’t cleaned once our entire stay, and when we asked the cleaner to clean it, she just threw some towels at us.
We were never allowed to put any drinks or room service against our room and forced to pay everything up front which was quite inconvenient. When we checked out, the receptionist sat there on the phone for a while without acknowledging us at the desk, and we eventually just had to discreetly leave because our taxi for the airport was waiting outside

Stay in Sesimbra at Four Points Sheraton

We stayed two nights here at the end of our 10 day trip, mainly to relax and get ready for the drive into Lisbon airport. It was absolutely perfect for that purpose. The room was adequate and spacious with a small patio and a small grassy area overlooking the pool. If you like space, I would recommend this room, which was not one of the more expensive ones. The complimentary breakfast was expansive and delicious. It is a bit of a walk to the center of town, so you might want to take an Uber. Although the walk up to the top of the castle was awesome.

After some unexpected check-in challenges, the overall visit was good. Staff could take some time to provide advice what is happening at least every 30-40min.

Even though the property has a shuttle you have to reserve a time for pick up to the beach or from it. It would be much better if they had a small shuttle bus just running back and forth from the hotel to the beach area. It's not always possible to know what time you want to go to the beach or be picked up from it. We did not utilize the shuttle because of this. When we tried to, the times were reserved. Unfortunately, we will not stay again here because of this. Was too inconvient with kids.

The property was great and we would've had a great stay, however the fire alarm went off at 6 in the morning for like 20 minutes straight. It was awful. Our 2 young kids were terrified and we had NO idea what was going on. We were on the 5th level and the elevators weren't working because of the fire alarm. No staff came to check on us and let us know what was happening. After 20 minutes we finally found out from a staff member who happened to be staying on our floor and was also woken up, that it was a false alarm. We just happened to run into him, otherwise we never would have found out what happened. Again, nobody checked in on my family and we weren't compensated in any way for the inconvenience. Nobody even mentioned it when we checked out. It seems like they were not prepared at all had that been a real emergency. We were disappointed to say the least.

The Hotel is not situated in a very convenient location. There are no shops or restaurants (other than the Hotel's) in the area around the Hotel. There was a mix up with our rooms, that was sorted out. The menu in the restaurant is very limited. We had upgraded our rooms, to supposedly have a view over the pool. A bit of artistic license there. The staff were just brilliant, both at reception, in the restaurant and the cleaners. The hotel certainly couldn't be described as easy on the eye. Breakfast was extremely good. Special mention for Sandra and Marta at reception and also all the restaurant staff

Decent hotel but expected a bit more for the price

The positive points are - the pool area and the views are pretty nice. Breakfast is good. Minibar is totally free and the bed is super comfortable.

The disappointing bits were - smelling of damp in the room (the biggest downside for me), some facilities need a bit of a revamp as they look tired; service wasn't as friendly as in other equivalent hotels in Sesimbra. Location may be a negetive for those with difficulties going up steep hills, not as close to the beach as it may appear on the map.

We had a decent stay at the Sheraton. It is overhyped for what it is and overpriced. Our room was decent, bed was very large and comfortable, clean and crisp sheets. The negatives were that the rooms have absolutely zero views, unless you have a pool view room. The bathroom is tiny!! Also, the bathroom seemed really cheap and basic, though it was clean. The walls are super thin and the double glazing very poor, we could hear other rooms toilets flushing and we were woken every morning at 5am by the bins being collected and lots of metal bins being banged about, then around 8am the maid's trolleys would wake us up as they were dragged back and forth on the jagged tiles outside, not to mention doors being banged everywhere.
Reception staff were not the most friendly.
Parking in the hotel was super expensive, €8 per day, this is not made clear at time of booking. My advice is to park on the road anywhere outside the hotel, free parking and no restrictions.
Breakfast was fantastic, huge variety, plentiful, great covid measures being practiced.

The swimming pool was nice, but not enpugh sun loungers and we were never able to get a sun lounger.

The location of the hotel is fantastic as it's just a 12 min walk to the beach and the restaurants. Vegetarians beware, there are very few options available, but a heaven for seafood lovers.

All in all, I definitely wouldn't stay at the Sheraton when I visit Sesimbra again.

Overall: Well styled hotel but lacking finesse and attention to detail.
The main areas were very attractive and comfortable. It IS a nice hotel but some disappointing elements that let it down.

Location: It is located at the top of a hill and the immediate area is quite quiet. We had a 2 bed suite had a great view of the pool and harbour (in addition to a crane in direct view as well although nothing the hotel could do about this). It is a quick 10 minute trip down to the main strip beach and easy for most people but not for those with mobility issues. We had a toddler and used a pushchair - the route was not an easy one, mainly blighted by cars parked which blocked the pavements, holes in in the cobbles and lots of dog mess to dodge . Again, this is not the fault of the hotel but adds to the general experience. The hotel does have a free shuttle service car but this car has to be booked in advance so does not allow you to be spontaneous. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within 10 minute walk.

Rooms: the suite was spacious with ample cupboard space. The beds in the bedrooms are large and the pillows comfy although the mattress is quite firm. The bathroom has a double sink and large countertop, single shower. It lacks places to hang the bath towels for 4-5 people. There is a kettle and complementary tea and coffee sachets but no milk or creamer is provided. One television in the main room did not work. Nice to have an iron/ironing board and nice robes.

The staff did everything to make our stay super memorable and fun. We experienced a long delay in the restaurant, but they were kind enough to reward us with more than just \"sorry\". Rather, they took action to show they really care. I traveled with kids and can say the rooms are extremely spacious and the property and staff kid friendly. Would highly recommend and go back!

Very pleasant hotel in many ways:comfort, decoration, staff and food
Having a car the location was perfect too, quuet area close enough to the centre without being in the middle of it
Had a great stay and will definitely go back

Good hotel with great people

The hotel is new (opened 01Jul20). The staff is super friendly, the young team at restaurant is amazing. The breakfast was in a special tray (for safety) and was really great and delicious. Dinner was also tasty. The WiFi is really high speed and never dropped. The bed is comfortable, room is big enough, bathroom is small but it's acceptable. The private balcony is handy (ask for room D102). It's a good location if you prefer tranquility (like me), but you need a car to go to beach or city center. There are a few things that can improve but it's acceptable as they just opened and some staff is still on training (but you can feel the commitment and dedication from them). Loved my stay and will return shortly.
