Nice hotel - staff were polite and was easy to find after a delayed flight into Lisbon.

Tapered your expectations. The hotel is pretty old and the property shows its age. I could always overlook a hotel’s age if the service was excellent; but here I’m sorry to report it was just as average and going poorly. They had my name wrong on the reception key, the guy at reception wasn’t friendly and was on the phone during check-in. No “give me one moment”, hello welcome to Azeitao… nothing. And we love Portuguese people for their friendliness but this guy couldn’t be bother. He also told us that our breakfast wasn’t included but it was but I didn’t argue as I was hoping to solve it during checkout… and indeed there was no problem with the other person at checkout. We were there for a wedding and nothing could harsh our mellow but in the end we decided to leave the hotel early (paid for in advanced the extra days ) in order to go to Lisbon and spend more days there.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Turim. As stated the staff was helpful and professional. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The (optional but WELL WORTH) breakfast buffet was really delicious. Finally, YES I would certainly stay again. Very reasonably priced as well !

The staff were very friendly
The bed mattress was very hard, but the pillow was extra soft, had to wait 10 minutes before there was hot water for a shower, breakfast was unsatisfactory for a 4* hotel, basically I will not be staying at this hotel again

Magical sunset at the pool

Stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Club de Azeitão, for a trip around the beaches on the Serra da Arrábida. The hotel is at the top of Serra da Arrábida which means a 20min car ride to Portinho da Arrábida beach.
The hotel pool is beautiful and at the sunset it gets really magical with the sunset right in front of the pool.
The hotel itself it’s quite nice, but the breakfast wasn’t great. Portugal is full of amazing qualities of bread and regional sweets that hotel didn’t offer for breakfast. Azeitão, which where the hotel is located has a wonderful sweet tart which is very famous in the area, I think the hotel should offer this kind of stuff and say that this is a local product and make more from the local food and sweets and advertise what the region does best.

We had a late flight so arrived at the hotel 2am and were checked in. The staff are excellent and very attentive in particular front line staff.

We had nice clean rooms but sadly there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which would have improved the score given.




We were a party of 12 people and agreed we would all stay again. The breakfast needed to be warmer but the staff would heat up if requested

I stayed here with my Mum for one night. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Dinner was very disappointing in the restaurant and breakfast was average. Waiting staff were not particularly great and the food and drinks we had were expensive. Room was clean and comfortable and the whole place is old fashioned but in a nice way. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom.

Traditional hotel set in large tranquil gardens, with lovely large outdoor pool. Excellent breakfast. The air conditioning could do with upgrading and some aspects of the rooms were a bit worn and tatty and in need of re-newing. However, the rooms were all large, spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Lovely place with bags of Character!

A lovely hotel with lots of character and interesting aspects - particularly liked the bowl of local tomatoes on reception desk instead of the normal sweets!! Rooms large and comfortable, bed really good, buffet breakfast reasonable if booked in with package and staff very helpful. Turim group have done a great job restoring this property. In a great wine tasting area and lots of scenic places a short drive away. Pre-book the Cataplana for two - made fresh to order and really good. Would have like a kettle for tea and coffee making in the room.

Nice building and location, but no vibe

4 star hotel in an ancient building well kept. However, the service, though friendly, needs extra personnel. Rooms are large and clean. Sleeping confort is a bit below the everage for a 4 star hotel, run by Turim group. The area is nice, close to lisbon and the setubal/arrabida beaches and nature.

Nice Hotel convenient location for our visit.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. All services are excellent. Staff is very helpful. Only drawback is that internet is not available in the rooms but only in reception and breakfast. Might be a policy to keep guests out of the rooms and in the Bar?

This Hotel was very nice , garden was a plus to walk round after a cold breakfast and water cold to make tea. But if you like Continental breakfast, you should be OK. T V very poor for channel options ,for this day and age. No internet connection in the room but good near the lobby did notice this slowed when other guests used this at the same time as i did. The crux of it all is would i stay there again ? Yes i would but a hot breakfast and not just cold egg and bacon might help. maybe some tomatoes or beans even mushrooms ? you will need a car to stay here if you want to get about. Dinner was OK but menu limited and not great value. This overall was a nice hotel just needs that little extra to live up to its 4 star rating

September 2011 - We were having an absolutely wonderful holiday in Portugal until we arrived that this hotel. When we had read the amenities of the hotel before we booked we thought great, it has everything we need. Unfortunately the amenities list is incorrect. Pool - yes its outside but don't know when it was last cleaned, it was horrid and no poolside bar. Grounds were overgrown. No restaurant even though the hotels sign advertises it’s a Hotel and Restaurant. The staff were not helpful. The business centre was one computer and a printer that did not work. The breakfast selection was terrible, did not offer anything hot, even though they made scrambled eggs they were served cold. We prefer to leave the do not disturb sign on our door even when we have gone out for the day but the hotel just ignored this and we would return to find our things moved and the AC turned off which as it was 40 degrees C when we visited it was not a pleasant experience. The hotel was extremely run down and just had a grubby feeling to it.

We unfortunately arrived on a day when the hotel was short staffed and had to wait until 6pm to get into our room, but the receptionist made sure that we had drinks in the very pleasant reception room. The problems that the hotel were obviously experiencing from being short staffed did not affect our comfort. The bedrrom was a very good size, well furnished and the hotel as a whole made for a very relaxing break. Within easy travelling to Sesimbra and Portinhos and very near the Adegas which were open to the public we would say that we had a very enjoyable stay there, and would recommend this hotel. The breaksfast was adequate and the whole setting of the hotel was what we had hoped for

Hopefully they had a very bad day

Of course they had a bad day. But it cannot be only that. Used towel on the bathroom floor when checking in. The receptionist refused to admit that half board meant more than breakfast (was solved later on). Waiting time for the food at the restaurant was near two hours. Even though they had few guests. And the quality was below medium. But nice surroundings and good breakfast.

Um local muito agradável para descansar em casal ou com família, aos finais de semana não tem muito local perto para almoço ou janta. Mas com cidades perto a 12 km com opções . Uma das únicas coisas negativas são os banheiros que tem pouca pressão e difícil de achar a temperatura certa para um belo banho. O ponto mais perfeito foi o pequeno almoço que foi excepcional. Tudo fresco e os funcionários muito prestativos e sempre com o sorriso no rosto.

Bom custo benefício

O hotel é bastante espaçoso e com vários atrativos. As instalações são antigas mas estão bem conservadas. Ó elevador é bem pequeno, se estiver com muitas malas não cabe, e como é um elevador antigo os sensores não funcionam muito bem (quase prendeu meu braço ao fechar a porta).
É bem próximo de mercados, postos de gasolina, etc.
É um hotel que o preço compensa, eu ficaria novamente.

Ficamos apenas uma noite em familia, pois estavamos em viagem. O hotel não me surpreendeu, um pouco datado, pouco actualizado, o quarto estava limpo e o pequeno almoço era bom! Talvez tenha sido esse o ponto positivo. Os espaços exteriores deixam a desejar, a piscina achei que tinha os equipamentos de apoio à mesma, como wcs e espreguiçadeiras com muito mau ar! O pequeno almoço era realmente bom e o pessoal foi simpático!

Maravillosa quinta del siglo XVII con una piscina única con azulejos con motivos históricos preciosos rodeada de amplios campos y un camino real bajo palmeras
Buena situación para acceder a Setubal, bella ciudad y a sus magníficas playas.

Surpreendente e histórico.

Meu objetivo foi visitar o Museu e a loja da Quinta da Bacalhoa em Setubol, e o Clube D'Azeitão foi o hotel mais próximo da vinícola. Mas surpreendentemente tem historia centenária como a Quinta da Bacalhoa. Predio apesar de antigo muito agradael, equipe prestativa e em especial o garçom Bivac, que atende de foena esoetacular os hospedes. Unico senão foi ver a piscina abandonada por conta do inverno. Valeu muito a pena.

Correspondeu e superou as expectativas. O atendimento é impecável e o local é belo. Para quem queira ver TV no quarto, as opções são escassas, mas o wireless é bom. A evitar os quartos sobre o salão de festas onde um evento pode perturbar o maravilhoso silêncio bucólico do local.

Nice old mansion not far from some very popular restaurant spots, spacious rooms, well equiped, bit aged but well maintained. Pool in on the hil in the vineyards with view to the valley - great!

Nettes Hotel abseits des Touristenstroms

Hübsches, kleines und abgelegenes Hotel, von wo aus man super Tagestrips nach Sintra,Lisboa etc. planen kann. Ohne Auto nicht zu empfehlen da doch etwas abgelegen. Personal freundlich, die Zimmer immer sehr sauber. Leider hat bei uns die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert und auch nicht, wie eigentlich versprochen, repariert. Ansonsten durchaus zu empfehlen.

Het hotel bevindt zich 10km buiten de stad van Setubal, wel naast een drukke doorgaande weg. hotel ziet er prima uit. helaas zijn de kamers wel wat klein, maar wel voorzien van een goed bed en een TV. Tv beschikt over een intern systeem. Internet heeft een goed bereik.
De badkamer is niet goed in staat om te goed te luchten waarbij je toch schimmel op het plafond aantreft. De hardwerkende schoonmakers kunnen hier niet tegenaan poetsen.
kamer is gehorig.
Minibar aanwezig, maar voor belachelijke prijzen. dit geldt trouwens ook voor aan de bar. een Espresso kost EUR2.00 (dit zijn geen portugeze prijzen)

Aunque al principo parecía un gran sitio para la estancia no fue del todo perfecta, la habitación aunque grande el estado era bastante “antiguo”, viejo, gastado. El desayuno un pelín escaso y el zumo no era natural. Para terminar nos tocó la habitación del descansillo y entre la gente escandalosa y las de la limpieza hemos dormido 4 o 5 horas. Mejorable

Ein gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis

Allgemeiner Eindruck sehr positive: räumige und saubere Zimmer, ein großes Bett und ein gutes Frühstück. Außerdem steht ein kostenloser Parkplatz zur Verfügung.
Wir haben sogar das Hotel zweimal gebucht, da die erste Erfahrung war ziemlich gut.

Preis Leistung ist sehr gut. Mit moderner frischer portugiesische Küche. Bacalhau sehr zu empfehlen. Grosser Umschwung mit Pool. Waren leider nur eine Nacht dort.. Man kann sich auch länger dort erholen. Super Personal!!!!!!!

Lamento que no domingo, não havendo jantar no hotel, o bar estava muito pobre em relação ao que se encontra explicitado numa lista do próprio hotel. Valeu a simpatia do empregado, que também era naquele momento o recepcionista do hotel (!), que conseguiu uma solução de compromisso.

Foi muito bom, à excepção da casa de banho que é minuscula e nem dá para um casal estar lá ao mesmo tempo e a televisão do quarto que só tem 4 canais portugueses e os outros sem interesse nenhum, para além de ser via internet o que é um incómodo por ter a imagem intermitente de vez em quando. De qualquer modo o hotel é espectacular para quem quer passar umas férias relachadas

Mukava hotelli, sivummalla Azeitaon keskustasta. Setubaliin johtavan tien varrella, liikennettä, mutta ei häiritse. Hotelli oli miellyttävä, erilainen. Hyvä aamupala ja siistit huoneet. Ainut miinus oli uima-allas, jota ei oltu pidetty kunnossa, vesi oli sameaa. Kauniit kuvat esitteessä eivät siis vastaa todellisuutta, enää.
