The staff was wonderful. Although we didn't opt for our room to be serviced, they always offered towels etc. The standard rooms are huge and the ocean view is magnificent! The included breakfast was beyond our expectations.

The hotel was very clean, and I had a lovely quiet room with an excellent view.
The breakfast buffet had a good selection and though it changed little day to day I always left satisfied.
One evening there was quite loud music coming from one of the restaurants somewhere below my room, at bedtime I did need to close the glass doors tightly to get to sleep, I missed the beautiful sound of the ocean that night.
I probably wouldn’t return to Sesimbra, but not because of the hotel or the area, there were a few things I did not have time to do or see. It’s just that there are so many other areas of Portugal that I want to explore the next time I visit.

A pleasant holiday.

A lovely hotel. Amazing staff. I had a deluxe room, very comfortable bed and a great view. A good internet connection. Spa was amazing.
Just an observation; I paid extra for half board and it was not worth it. The special menu is limited and lacks variety. It is better to opt for the al a carte menu.

Loved Sesimbra oceanfront

Loved everything about our stay in the hotel
But they need to fix all the missing tiles at the bottom of the outdoor pool. For a 5 star hotel this was very shabby looking disappointing. However the staff was fabulous the room beautiful and the location perfect.

We were very impressed with the location of this hotel - front row seats to 24-hour ocean waves. There was a glitch with the water/pipes in the wing we were in and we had to move rooms. The staff was apologetic and amazing in their professionalism to find solutions that worked. Staff was very pleasant and friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. Every room has a balcony I think.

The seagulls float in the outdoor pool which is kind of nasty but since it’s January we didn’t plan on swimming out there. The location to local eateries is very close too which is a bonus. The tile work on the walls at floor 0 and up to floor 5 is amazing.

I recommend this hotel to people. We enjoyed our stay very much. The village is beautiful. The people and staff are nice!

Close to perfect - few things to know

The property and views are stunning. The food wonderful. The sauna and beach access are great.

Depending on your needs you should know:

Some rooms require stairs to access (plus an elevator - need both) so if anyone in your party is elderly or disabled, fyi to request a room that’s accessible (as I’ve stayed here before and was still surprised by it when arriving with my mother. Who knew?)

The balconies are wonderful. If you are bothered by smokers though you should know this can be a problem.

The spa is absolutely lovely. Also, true that communication can be spotty. I had a wonderful massage that on arrival to the spa I was told was on special. Great! But that meant I agreed to a much shorter version of it. I didn’t know so it made for an awkward surprise when I exited the treatment room 30 minutes sooner than I expected. I later read a poster in the elevator telling me the this - but first had me playing 20 questions with the spa staff about why the massage was short.

It’s a very nice place! But it’s smoother if you know these things.

This hotel is absolutely stunning. The pictures don’t do it justice. Our room had a great view of the ocean. The infinity pool was great. Parking is included. You wouldn’t want a large car if parking in their garage. Overall spectacular and we definitely need to return.

Excellent location on a lovely wide sand beach. Hotel has well maintained public spaces. Only exception is the corridor carpet leading to the rooms which should be replaced. Staff is helpful and friendly. Rooms could use some maintenance and upgrading. Our room had a strange smell and as pointed out by others a sewage smell when on the balcony, which was a shame because the view is fabulous. The included breakfast was very good with sufficient choice. Could have been the best freshly squeezed orange juice I have ever had.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the beach. Close to the town which has some lovely little shops and amazing places to eat.
Spacious, clean rooms with balcony and see view. Gorgeous pool area, amazing breakfast, lovely staff, Beautiful surroundings...
Didn't make it to the spa unfortunately!
We had the perfect, relaxing few days away and we will definitely return.

Great hotel. Very clean. Spacious, attractive and well appointed room with sea view. The hotel is right on the beach and the lovely oceanfront walk. Funky deco in public areas. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Fantastic to have underground parking.
Only downside was the breakfast buffet: all the breads were second rate, and, overall, the offerings were boring.
We would definitely return and we’ve already recommended this hotel to friends visiting this region of Portugal.

Un lugar paraocasiones especiales

La via de acceso tiene muchas pendientes y curvas pero esta en buen estado la carretera.
El edificio es todo un espectaculo, tanto por el refinado diseño como por la playa en que esta ubicado.
Las habitacion y baño son amplios y con agradables terminaciones.
Inmediato en los alrededores hay muchos restaurantes con muy buenas opciones, cafeterias, bares, etc.

Please be aware that this property does NOT offer lounge chairs and beach umbrellas until after June 15th. We went in late May and found this out. They do not offer beach towels either until June 15th so we had to use our room bath towels. They need to put this specific information on their website to let visitors know. If I had been made aware of no lounge chairs and no umbrellas I would have booked somewhere else as the point of my holiday was to relax on the beach.

Great location, very nice rooms and excellent views from the rooms. As noted by others, the cleanliness of the rooms left something to be desired. The bathroom had been spot cleaned at best.i did not trust the floor had been cleaned, i wiped down the toilet myself as I did not trust the cleaning. The upside, the breakfast was excellent, but please get rid of the coffee machines and brew real coffee. We had the buffet, the starters, salad and desserts were good, the mains were awful. Overall a good experience, but for the price it should have been much better.

The property is at the bottom of a hillside town and one should make sure you have good directions to get to it

Lovely Hotel with Excellent Seaviews

Lovely hotel with fantastic views over the bay in Sesimbea. The hotel has been designed to ensure every room has a sea view which is amazing given its size. Our room was a standard double and was a very good size with plenty of cupboard space. The hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant during the stay. The only two minor gripes I had were:
1. The condition of the spa, which was tired in places with the indoor pool requiring an underwater light to be screwed back into place for the duration of the stay.
2. The hotel did not have an iron for guests to use and would only offer a paid laundry service. I was over for a wedding and my shirt just needed a few creases removing yet I had to pay 3.50 euros for the service.

No hot water!!

No hot water!!! At a spa hotel - we got no warning on checkin however we were greeted by cold muddy water in the shower . On raising it an hour later were told oh yes there had been an intervention for the water . It took until the next day to get hot water - not happy!!
