I loved how spacious and comfy the bed and room were. The location was was convenient- right on the main tourist road with all the shops and close to the airport. The staff were helpful, especially the female receptionist who is so friendly! There is also a cute dog who stays there.

A problem I had was the towels and bed sheets were always stained, even after I got new ones and you can hear noisy guests in the corridors. There was a musty smell in the room. Sadly, the bathtub was old and looked broken too. I think there are better hotels I would stay at next time.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The lift should be available for all floors. It was very difficult to carry luggage up to my room even if it was for one floor.

Good Value for the Money

Rooms were big and spacious. Everything was clean and it was a good price for the location. Modern rooms and up to date appliances. Only tricky part was finding it--the main entrance is on the lake side, but I was on the walking street side. Not much parking on that side of the street so was an adventure to find a spot and get sorted. 1,000 baht deposit required as an FYI.

Great place, iv stayed there before, its about 15 mins for the airport and 25 mins for Mea Nam pier. Next to McDonald, Burger King and a 5 min walk to Central Festival with English films in the cinema.

Good value. Great location, near beach, restaurants, shopping, bars etc. Very friendly staff. Has night security. Safety box in room. Cleaning could be improved, but not a major issue. Clean beds. Big and nice rooms with small balconies. Some music noise at night until 00:30. Can recommend.

Location is great

If you want to be in the middle of the action , stay here! But if you plan on sleeping before 1 am stay else where it's very loud with the music across the street. The service is great, the hotel is really nice and spacious , some water stains on ceiling and curtains, but those type of things don't bother me. You can walk to the beach, night market, mall, and taxi stand is directly outside of hotel, tons of restaurants and shops.

Nice priced clean hotel close to beach

I booked a 1 night stay here on return to Samui from Koh Tao before flying home. I found hotel to be very clean, up to date and in great shape. My room had great cable with many English speaking channels, a in room safe, fridge, good priced minibar offerings, a proper English style bathroom with great hot water & even a proper tub. Bed was a little hard (somewhat standard in Thailand) but lines new & clean. There was a small balcony as well.
While only a couple end rooms on each floor offer direct lake views, I found it quiet and close to everything on Chaweng beach.
The hotel sits directly across the main beach road from the \"on beach\" resorts so you are only about 500ft from the beach itself on south end of the Chaweng beach stripstrip and at a much better price. I will definitely stay here again

Although the rooms were very big they were very dark there was no natural light in them and the bathrooms need a serious update as all the sealant was black and paint was bubbled on the ceiling.The staff were very polite and helpful but i wouldnt stay here again unless it was updated.Even though i paid for 12 nights i moved somewhere else after 4 nights .

Location: On one side is the lake, the other side is main road in koh samui; not far from central festival & plenty restaurants; not far from ark bar (nice place to hang out at night), but need to get taxi to coco tam (another nice place to hang out) .... Room & amenities are ok, clean ... Service quality are good, friendly staffs ... Only suggestion is to get room furthest from main road (so, closer to lake side), since it is noisy from live band and traffic noises on main road.

Nice hotel, big rooms, lake view disappointing

The hotel was very nice. The location was in the middle of many shops and restaurants, and very close to the night market held a few times a week. The lake could be viewed by leaning out over the balcony railing, but the rooms were very large and comfortable.

Cheap, cheerful and at the centre of the action

Stayed with a friend 2-12th May, third floor room which was spacious and spotless with fresh towels every day. Some background noise which is inevitable staying right on the strip but nothing that bothered us too much. As the hotel is right on the strip you are on top of bars, restaurants and entertainment so nothing is too far away and you only have to cross the road and walk through the hotels to get to the beach. There's a supermarket right outside and tour guide shops nearby so you can arrange excursions. All transfers we booked were prompt and cabs are always outside waiting. Its about a 10 minute walk down to the strip of bars and clubs which gets lively at around midnight and walking back up the strip in the early hours we never felt unsafe. Only bad experience we had was booking a speedboat to take us to Koh Phangnan and back for the half moon - our boat was overbooked (I dont think numbers are monitored) and it was push everyone out of the way and first come first served, as two small girls we didnt do so well in that race. We had to wait for an hour for the boat to come back and get us then on the way home the exact same thing happened so our advice would be to stay over and save the hassle of being stranded on a pier at 6am! Overall had a great time the hotel is what it is cheap cheerful and close to everything it was clean and the air con worked well with complimentary wifi which had good signal

Nora Lakeview offers exactly what it claims....great location...infact the best part of Chaweng beach is right across the road...you will be spoilt for choice for cuisines and bars as you step out. Wi fi is excellent....room big and clean. It has no tea or coffee maker...no breakfast. Good value for money.

Good value for Chaweng Centre

Stayed 2 nights here on my 4th time to Koh Samui. The location is really good, rooms are large, has a bathtub. Night market and anything else you need is only steps away. Staff is friendly. The hotel is accessible from both Chaweng beach road and the lakeside, so if you have a motorbike you don't have to make the big loop to get back.

Good hotel located in a busy area of the city

I needed a place to stay for one night and wanted to be close to the airport and near the city's entertainment area. This hotel was a good choice. The price was very reasonable and so was the room. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is very close to restaurants, shopping and bars. It is also a short walk to the beach. It served my purpose well and I would consider staying there again if I had similar needs.

Large clean room in great location

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel reception staff greeted us with warm smiles and actually informed us they hadn't received our reservation yet. Was not a problem at all however as they got us into a room right away. The hotel is in the perfect location on the main strip in Chaweng Beach, close to all the shops and restaurants and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. It's also about a 2 minute walk from the Chaweng night market-best food and cheapest drinks with live bands and lots of shopping!! Don't miss it! The room was very large and clean, and the bathroom was also nice and big. We actually had a shower with a nice deep soaker tub which was a real treat as most of the places we have stayed had showers only. Housekeeping came each day snd replaced all the towels and made the bed. Hair dryers are available upon request. Overall we had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would recommend it for Travellers who just want the basics but value great service and cleanliness. Would definitely stay again!

close to all shops & restaurants

Stayed a week at the hotel, though it needs to be updated the cleaning staff do a good job of cleaning the rooms. There is noise from the surrounding bars but I found the inconsiderate people coming in late woke me up. You are a quick walk to the beach, great place to go is Eat Sense, they have great beach lounges and all you do is a spend 350baht per person.

Close to the main drag of Koh Samui, extremely close to the beach without being on it, close to anything you could want in regards to shopping, eating etc.

Try and get a room on the opposite side of the lake as the music will keep you awake until 4am.

Clean, friendly, enormous

Checked in for one night in order to catch an early flight from Ko Samui the next morning. Was shown to my room, given restaurant recommendations and directions from two chirpy, welcoming members of staff.

The room itself was huge, clean, bug-free, air-conned and had a lovely bathroom with western toilet and high power hot water (refreshing change from your average hostel). There's also a free fridge and safe in every room.

On the downside, it's on Ko Samui's main strip so it's pretty noisy the whole night through. Would definitely use this as a stopover hotel again.

Me and a friend stayed for about a week and loved it.10 minutes from the center and to the other side, 10 minutes from beit chabad, and 3 minutes from the beach.
Very nice and helpful stuff.
Our room was a bit noisy from the bars outside, so take into consideration.

GREAT location for a very basic hotel

Is very basic hotel with an excellent location. It seems as if the Nora Chain is putting lots of invest,ment to toehr facilities and has left this hotel behind. Rooms are HUGE and comfortable but neither the elevator nor the phone was working during my stay.

Located on Chaweng Beach, on the second line. I lived for one night at Delux and Superior room. A room at a discount cost $ 31.
Differences between the numbers did not notice. The hotel has four floors, the elevator was not working.
The room has air conditioning, safe, private bathroom, free wireless Internet access, mini bar, 2 bottles of water free of charge.
The bathroom towels were dirty! In addition to poor insulation, up to 3-30 am could hear music from the club by the lake.
On the ground floor there is a good restaurant.
This hotel for rest is not recommended.

Nora Lakeview - noisy but nice

Ok, per other reviews the Lakeview IS noisy - don't bother paying for the deluxe room which I did (wondered why it was only £2 a night extra) as these are corner rooms and the noisiest in the hotel. The receptionist told me this when I arrived and I quite happily agreed to take a standard room instead. The quality of the room was very good and it was actually a pretty huge room anyway and I was staying alone, so no harm done.

The hotel is incredibly central on the main strip and you can walk anywhere, plus plenty of cabs outside for the airport and further afield which was just what I needed for a short 3 night stay after being out in the jungle in Phangan for a week. The noise didnt bother me as I was out until most of it died down anyway.

The only other negative is that being next to a busy steak restaurant there is a faint cooking smell at all times - I must admit I gave the room a quick spritz of perfume each time I got back.

I would say it was very competitively priced nevertheless and the lake behind is the setting for the annual Lotus festival which was absolutely delightful.

Perfect location and a friendly and helpful staff. Close to nice beaches, good restaurants and great bars. Very noisy until about 4/5 in the morning, due to live music in the surrounding bars. Spacious and clean rooms. Absolutely recommendable, but bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper...

Excellent value for money

Nora Lakeview is superb value for money. The staff were the most friendly, yet professional that i've encountered on my travels in Thailand. It's located in the centre of Chaweng, rooms are huge - i had stayed in the hilton in bangkok as a treat and the rooms in Nora were twice the size and spotless. The only word of caution i would have is that you can hear music from local bars until 2am - so if you want to relax, it's prob not the best spot - we were only in one night before 2am so wasn't a problem for us. I highly recommend this hotel!

Das Zimmer war groß und geräumig, was sehr angenehm war. Leider war die Matratze sehr hart und die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig. Man hört jegliche Geräusche, wie z.B. den Fernseher aus den anderen Zimmern, oder Türenknallen und Stühlerücken. Besonders nachts war es oftmals sehr laut, vor allem wenn andere Gäste sich im Treppenhaus laut unterhalten haben. Daher haben wir leider immer sehr schlecht geschlafen. Mit der Ausstattung, dem Service und der Lage waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Ett fräscht hotell med nära till allt. Fanns ingen frukost på hotellet och heller inte man kunde köpa till när man kom dit så de var ett minus. Det finns ingen balkong men de gjorde inte oss något.

Det var fint og billigt. Men hold da op det var meget larm. Nok fordi det er fliser så meget lydt. Vi klagede et par gange over dem over os. Det lød som om de flyttede rundt på møblerne. Det var både tidlig morgen og sen aften. Men alt i alt et ok hotel til pengene.

Sehr Renovierungsbedürftig

Das einzig positive ist wirklich das sehr bemühte und freundliche Personal.
Die Zimmer sind sehr renovierungsbedürftig, angefangen vom Badezimmer über die Klimaanlage und die Fenster.
Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt überhaupt nicht. Der Fahrstuhl wurde bis dato nicht repariert.
Hätte in 3 Woche 4 verschiedene Zimmer da immer Mängel aufkamen. (Wasserlake im Badezimmer, Quietschende Klimaanlage, defekte Klimaanlage, defekter Tresor)
Dem freundlichen Personal war es mittlerweile auch schon peinlich dass die Zimmer in so einem schlechten Zustand sind.

タオ島からの後泊で利用です。繁華街の中にあり、食事、ショッピングなどには便利で、コスパもお得でよかったのですが、残念なのは、エレベーターが動いていないこと。重い荷物を持って、3階まで行くのは大変でした。
また、向かいのお店の生演奏が夜中まで響いていたことも残念なところ。スタッフ、お部屋はよかったです。次回はエレベーターが動いていれば使いたいかな？

遅くまでうるさい

ホテルの目の前で生バンド演奏が夜中まであり、普通だったら寝られない状態でした。
朝ごはんもなく、また周りにも食べれるところがなく、もし家族連れだったら、非常に困っただろう。アクセス自体は隣にスーパーもあり、便利だが、それ以外は全部残念な感じです。

Sur le papier, l'hôtel est idéalement situé néanmoins son personnel est désagréable et non qualifié. Nous avons demandé à changer de Chambre car on était sur la rue piétonne qui était bruyante ( bar avec concert jusqu'à pas dheure) mais cela a déplu à la responsable qui refuser de prendre ma demande en considération malgré que l'hôtel disposait de chambre de libre. Sur un séjour de 4 jours, nous avons eu de l'eau chaude simplement à notre arrivée. Après l'avoir signaler, nous avons eu droit à un défilé du personnel avec comme réponse \"réessayer dans 10 min\". J'avoue qu'après avoir vu différentes personnes avec la même réponse et la même incompétence, j'ai préféré me laver à l'eau froide pendant le restant du séjour pour éviter de me gâcher mes vacances.
En conclusion, éviter cet hôtel surtout qu'il reste assez cher en vue de la prestation dont nous avons fait les frais.

値段が安い割りにホテルのロケーションが最高です。チャウエンビーチメイン通り沿いにあり、ビーチまで徒歩圏内。また、コンビニ、レストラン、両替も近くにあります。
客室、設備、スタッフは普通ですがロケーション重視の方におすすめです。

周辺は飲食店やスーパーマーケットに、囲まれていて、不便ではないが、夜は遅くまで音楽がなっていたりと静かに過ごしたい人にはお勧めできない。
値段は安く、部屋も値段相応のホテルです。
