Pros: room was clean and enough space for a family of 4. Breakfast had more options then just waffles. Pool was warm and have a 9ft deep pool was a surprise. Front desk staff was awesome.

Cons. 2 for the room hard water stain around the Jacuzzi tub. And no screen for the sliding door yo leave open and let fresh air in. The gentleman in charge of the breakfast area was extremely lazy wouldn't refill any juices or cups even when asked. It's self serve but all the pitchers were empty and this was at 840 am and breakfast isn't done untill 930am. Pool also needs scrubbed hard water stain around that so thick people could write profanity into it.

The place was good, I wouldn’t say excellent, but better than the last hotel I stayed at. The curtain rod was hanging on one side like it was about to fall. Breakfast was ok. Not as great as I was expecting. But it was hot so better than a lot of hotels. Bed wasn’t comfortable. Heard some other customers saying the beds hurt them also. It’s a good place.

the pool was not available in the morning, there was a issue with the hot tub, and chemicals, the guest room need better vacuuming, found lots of hair, and dirt on floor. the dining room had a sign that said wait to be seated and the one person working ignored us for 10 mins cleaning tables until I finally went and sat myself with my grand children. who were being very inpatient. i understand they are between seasons. the lack of care and attention was evident in the staff working. my reservation had to be input when I arrived, and they did not have the correct rate in the system. she decided to give me a AAA discount to bring the rate down.

Initial issue with Evergreen getting reservation from Expedia - we were not showing in the Evergreen system: staff worked to get us the room we had set up with Expedia.
Requested room cleaning half way through our 8 day stay but didn’t happen. May have been a staffing issue? Were able to get clean towels and other supplies via front desk staff.
Breakfast included in room cost was decent with both hot and cold breakfast options.
Curley’s, the in hotel bar, was a great place for an evening nightcap or late dinner/snack.

Housekeeping did not come at all. After the 4th night i went to check out and they did not have record of us at all... our last name wasnt in the computer. Um okay we just stayed 4 nights. They had a record of the different name staying in a completely different room... not us. She said they had no idea that our room had anyone in it yet we had the keys and my husband filled out the paperwork upon check in. She apologized and said her manager would call me the next day. I do have a charge on my bank card and i called to let them know this. She said she apologizes and her manager will call. Its day 7 and i have received no call....

The resort itself is very old & run down. They have very few staff members, so it feels very empty in the hotel. The two girls working the front desk at check-in were very kind & helpful. The breakfast was ok for a free continental breakfast. My family enjoyed the pool & hot tub, but we didn't like how we had to go outside to get to the pool. Overall, our stay went good & we would definitely stay there again. The restaurant located at the resort was also a nice perk & the food was good.

Didn’t let us check in until 6 pm. Lacking staff, couldn’t get in contact with the desk to replenish towels for the pool, breakfast is normally amazing and it was completely ransacked and without any staff. We have stayed here multiple times, it was very, very disappointing to see how they have let it go.

Check in was delayed by almost 2 hours. The room wasn't clean. When finally got in the room it seemed \"untidy\" and we also found 3 cans of Coors Light in the frig. No big deal unless you are a recovering addict. That's tough.

Great for a sledding get away. Room was clean and roomie. Access to the trails directly from the property. Adequate parking for trucks with trailers. Indoor pool and hot tub available. Breakfast was included and much better than your average hotel breakfast. Definitely will be staying again.

Pros: Check in was fast, staff was super nice. Pool area was awesome. Breakfast was top notch with good coffee. Room size was nice.
Internet was fast and nice variety of channels.

Cons: Bed was super hard. Pillows were like sleeping with a shoe box. I paid extra for the Jet room. The jets didn't work. I let the front desk know thinking they would move me or refund the difference in price. ($20 a night) and no one reached out or said anything. The Hotel is a few dollars more a night than others in the area, I would stay here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here. The one thing I look for in a room is being clean. As soon as I walked in you could see the white dust lines around the carpet edges. Use the edger and clean the corners. No one cares if the towels are folded pretty. Take the time and get the dirt up.

The staff was excellent and our room was clean and comfortable. The pool was heated, and the hot tub and sauna were clean and in good working order. It should be noted that it was a bit of a hike to the pool from our room, through long corridors.

Couldn’t check in until 9 because staff quit the day before. The hallway lights were completely out, which I guess is less scary than if they flickered. The faucet blew air for 5 seconds before emitting brown water.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was great and everything was nice! The front desk people were very kind and helpful! The only thing we didnt care for was the pool being 9ft deep and having two 11 years old that couldnt swim well. I wish it wasnt so deep but we still enjoyed it!

I absolutely love this place. From the breakfast to the dinner. The swimming pool and hot tub are amazing. The area and the depth of the pool was 9 feet. The hot tub was nice and hot. There is a sauna. Amazing Place! I definitely will be back.

Older golf resort renamed, shows age. I had a junior suite in a back building with a lot of steps. Room was clean and surprisingly large. Staff was very pleasant and attendant, repaired thermostat in room immediately when requested. Small bar and restaurant on premise. Would stay again.

Selected because - \"Resort - best in Cadillac\". So many weeds and overgrown landscape, no signs of life. Thought it was a deserted, closed facility. Couldn't find room because tall weeds covering numbers on building. Dark, 1980's orange and brown carpeting and panelling. I realize this is a golf course but it was very depressing. No hot water. Food from previous tenant in fridge. Parking lot cover with pot holes and grass/weeds growing in cracks.

Check-in reception area not marked. No one at desk to welcome.

However the staff was friendly and the breakfast that was included very good. New bedding and pillows.

Minimal bath/shower products - not enough for two people.

I should have paid more and stayed at the chain motel down the road.

For a golf resort and rates one of the best places to stay in Cadillac - i was very disappointed. The staff was great. However when we drove i to parking lot, I thought we were in wrong place. Construction trucks (later found out were guests by the week) were parked by room area - very over grown yard and landscaping. Rooms have not been updated since the 1980's. Dark brown and burnt orange carpet in rooms. Dark brown paneling. New bed coverings and pillows. Food from prior guest left in mini fridge. Balcony about 4' wide overlooked, parking lot filled with pot holes and weeds. Breakfast was great - hot with many selections of food from bagels to scrambled eggs and waffles.

If they would give the property a complete facelift - this could be a better appearing facility.

We found the property to be beautiful and the rooms well appointed. We were in a renovated room nearer the pool. So quiet. Beds had nice linens and were comfortable. Staff was helpful, cheerful, and attentive. The breakfast was wonderful with a nice view of the golf course and distant hills. Wait staff said they always vary the breakfast menu and I find that to be a delightful concept in hotel breakfast offerings.

Room was fine. We paid extra for the balcony room with golf course view, which was a waste. More like parking-lot view. The whole place was kind of weird, abandoned sort-of. On an August night, there were only a few other cars in the massive parking lot, and at breakfast, in the huge dining room, there was only one other person. I felt kind of bad for the staff there, having to prepare the buffet spread for nearly nobody. But the breakfast was adequate, if standard. The facility is a bit long in the tooth and the bathroom is kind of cramped. It has 70's vibes. Nothing wrong with it at all, but just kind of weird-like.

The Check in process was very easy. Although they forgot to inform me about the incidentals hold on me cc. Very seldom do I ever see one when renting a hotel room.

The room was clean for the most part. I had to clean the shower before using it. It had a lot of hair in it.

The bathroom door look like it had seen battle with splatters of who knows what. So it had to be cleaned as well.

They originally put us in someone else’s room, when we first arrived.
The hot tub didn’t have air, the sauna didn’t work. There was a dirty towel on the back of the door. There was dead bugs on the bathroom floor. The bathtubs where so slippery you could hardly stand.

We didnt get the front desk ladys name, we checked in on 4/18 at 5/6 ish the lady was nice and they were super helpful. We had some issues with the card opening our door but everytime they came so quickly and helped. Everytime she was very pleasant and respectful. The pool and hot tub was a plus. Definitely will be coming back again. Even the lady that serves the breakfast was nothing but super wonderful!

The room was very clean and modern. The outside of the building is dated and leads you to believe the inside will be too, but it is not.

They said they offered room service, but there was no menu available and when we finally received one and called to order, which we tried to do 3 times, no one answered.
Also, the pool was VERY dimly lit. We could barely see our kids on the other side when it was dark out.

The room I had was VERY dated. They may vacuum it but the carpet is 30+ years old. It's not clean and has many, many stains on it. The arms on the couch are filthy. I sat at the small dining or on the bed. To be honest, I can't believe the health department passes the room. Until it's updated, I won't be staying here again.
