Great place with direct beach access. The rooms were big and clean. Staff members are always at hand to help out with any service requests.

Breakfast offerings were plentiful, and there's a made to order station serving different egg options.

There's a pool to lounge around if one desires, and the convenient location makes it easy to go down to the main stretch of Chaweng. 7-11 sits across the street, and many restaurants are nearby.

The airconditioning in our room did not work properly the first two days of our stay. Then we got moved to a new room which resolved the issue.
The internet was unreliable, often loosing connection.
The bathroom layout was poor, causing the floor to easily become wet when showering. The wanter temperature and pressure in the shower was also unreliable, which was quite annoying.

There was also too few sun beds around the pool.

The staff was nice and accommodating and the breakfast was fine.

The property is old they are painting and drilling pool was lovely staff not friendy including the manager plains going overhead all day and night i would not have booked this hotel if i had known this also you cannot sit on the beach like the photos show. You are so close to other guests while sitting on your balcony we were going to stay somewhere else but they were fully booked not enough sunloungers for the amount of guests so paid extra at another hotel for sunlounges.

The Combo Beach Hotel is located in a great spot. It was close to all the amenities. Great pool area and the breakfast buffet was decent. The hotel is starting to show it's age but I would definitely stay there again.

The part of only giving you one key is no good because when you take your card out of the holder it shuts down all the power and my beer gets warm in the fridge. Plus it’s warm when you get back to your room. I get it trying to save power but in the end you are probably not trying to cool everything down. The breakfast for 350 baht is a joke. One little frying pay for a lady cooking omelets or eggs for people is ridiculous and the coffee machine that kinda works but takes 5 minutes to get a 1/4 cup. There is absolutely zero beach and the beds are hard as a rock. That’s my vent.

It was average. The hotel is very old and the staff were very rude. My previous stay in Thailand everyone was so accommodating and nice. This place seemed like they were just sick of tourists or something. It’s also in a very busy area and it’s loud until 2/3am. It was awful or anything just wouldn’t stay again.

Only good thing is the convenient location and direct beach access. Everything else is terrible. The room and sink were full of tiny bugs, clearly no proper cleaning or hygiene at all. Most of the staff were rude, only a few were nice. For the price, this place is absolutely not worth it. Avoid and stay somewhere cleaner and better managed.

Good hotel and good location

The breakfeast was very good,
I think the pillows whas much to big/high, the aircon whas very noicy.

Staff is very friendly and the pool is very nice, but its little to expensive to have a drink ther. You are not allowed to even bring an apple to the pool.

We stayed three night and we dont need the room cleaned, but you could fill up with water and coffee, wich you did not

Service was acceptable. No where did it say that a cash deposit was required upon arrival. The bathroom was in poor condition. Dirty to say the least. The photos glamorise the property. I will definitely stay in a different hotel next year when i visit.

Je n’ai vraiment pas du tout apprécié mon séjour dans cet hôtel, c’est une sorte de club hôtel bas de gamme, pas propre, et que dire du personnel ? Aucune amabilité, notamment lors de la remise des clés j’ai posé une simple question ce qui n’a apparemment pas plus à la personne présente ce jour. Nous avons même changé d’hôtel entre temps je ne réitérerai pas l’expérience

Is it a resort?

The overall place was Ok though it is starting to look a little bit tired.
The staff are attentive and very friendly and the place was nice and clean.
We found it noisy at night and didn't have 1 night that was not spoilt but other people being noisy and having parties back at their apartments once the nightclubs had closed.
Not so much a resort than small apartments in the same area.
No evening entertainment laid on by the resort.
Beach and high street close to the resort.

the hotel was very good location to the beach/bars/shops & restaurants.
the rooms were clean and spacious, you just couldn’t keep the aircon on so it got hot through the day.
the property didn’t look as good as the pictures, this was when it was new.
overall i would stay again for convenience and cleanliness

Soooo as I decided to check out what others said was true . They attempted to say something was missing from the room as the other reviews and charge me . When I told them I would go show them where the motel was they suddenly found it . Also the rooms are clean and nice but the property itself is rundown . The pictures are highly retouched . Never ate at the restaurant so don’t know how that was . Definately would choose somewhere else when I returned

The place was good for the price but some of the staff were a little too comfortable treating the guests poorly. I’d rather pay more at a property run by professionals than save a few bucks and be treated like an inconvenience. Been in Thailand for 3 months, this is easily the least hospitable staff I have encountered.

Very amazing place RIGHT ON the beach! Amazing breakfast and staff. I would have stayed longer, but like a moron i just booked a few nights (3) and would have stayed (3) more, but they were full! Still squeezed me in for 1 more out of somewhere. Amazing staff. You can take any trip, or rent scooters at the same place...! Did i mention an AMAZING breakfast with an omelet station! And an espresso/cappuccino maker. Dont forget to tip the help! They worked so hard to make my stay amazing!!!

Modest bare bones property

It's a very average property with no beachfront whatsoever just kind of cliff that drops off into the ocean so you'll have to go somewhere else if you want a proper beachfront. It's essentially a get what you pay for type of property in the sense that it is priced a bit cheaper than other comparable hotel properties and that is reflected in every aspect of service products and other deliverables. On the plus side it is in a good enough location if you want to be in the middle of the action in that area but it is definitely very basic and barebones in almost every respect and probably not the place to park a car because they have a very very small parking area and if the hotel is fully booked that will certainly pose problems especially with a one-lane path to the main road. Also I found it very inconvenient of them to be inflexible about checkout time and yet at checkout they have the slowest procedure possible with long cues of people trying to check out and catch flights while staff sorts through papers in plastic holders. Quite the scene actually. They could do much better with the breakfast buffet IMHO. Be ready for a long queue if you want to toast bread, get an omelet, or have coffee squirt out of the machines.

Amazing 3 week + vacation

Amazing location on the beach, step outside on the other side and shops and restaurants galore. Grace “amazing Grace” at reception was awesome she looked after us with a constant smile and humbleness.
All the staff at reception and restaurant were amazing also.

When I was checking out they said I took their towels because the housekeeping checked the room and couldn’t find it and I told them it was in the basket. After they found it they gave the deposit 1000 baht back with no apologies. So disappointed that they didn’t find it really well then said I stole their towels.

The hotel is clean and tidy but it is run like a military installation . A card and a signature is required for everything ie to get breakfast and beach towels. Breakfast is very basic and only 2/3 stars. We asked for wine glasses in the room but were informed this was not possible. From 8am pop / doff doff music plays all day around the poll and meal area - not at all relaxing. Most staff were friendly.

Great location on the main strip. Right on the beach with a nice pool and bar.
Rooms are modern and clean.
Staff were polite and helpfull.My only negative was the breakfast................very basic and make your own coffee....instant fom a jar!!................suggest coffee machine or pots ??

Nice little gem in the center of everything

It doesn’t matter if you love parties, would like to lay on the beach all day sipping a drink or do the shopping. Combo Beach is directly on the beach with all the amenities on one side and a few steps to the shopping promenade, markets or Central Festival and a lot massage places, whilst still quiet.

Das Hotel hat einen Pool, der komplett mit Fliesen und Beton eingefasst ist. Man liegt also auf Liegen auf Beton. Leider ist fast jede Liege reserviert, manchmal liegt stundenlang niemand darauf. Ein Nachteil ist, dass es keinen Strand vor dem Hotel gibt, da direkt mit einer schrecklichen Mauer bis ans Wasser gebaut wurde.
Insgesamt aber schöne, saubere, große Zimmer und freundliches Personal. An meinem Abreisetag musste ich mein Zimmer um 12.00h räumen und wurde aber erst um 17.00h mit dem Taxi zum Flughafen abgeholt. Ich konnte noch den Pool nutzen, was erfeulich war. Ein no- go ist aber das \"Angebot\" daß ich mich in der Toilette neben dem Pool umziehen und für den Rückflug nach Deutschland fertig machen konnte.
Dafür scheint es keinen Raum zu geben. Habe so etwas noch nie erlebt, schade.
