Great location, staff is friendly. Pool amenities and beach club access is great for resort stayers. Definitely would stay here again and this is a genuine review. Restaurant was fantastic as well as the drinks.

If you are good with the music running a bit late at night then no brainer. If not, maybe ask for a room far from the pool. That’s my best recommendation.

The hotel was in an excellent location. The rooms were clean and modern. Staff would clean them daily and give you fresh towels. The pool although it wasn’t large, was well kept and cleaned. The biggest compliment about this hotel was how attentive the staff were. Nothing was too much for them and they were always on hand for any queries. We had relatives with us in another room who had mobility issues. The staff helped with non-slip mats around the bathroom and other needs. The lock wasn’t working correctly on our door and a member of staff was there within a minute to look at it! The bar staff were superb and for breakfast they would offer alternatives if there was something you didn’t want on the menu. Extra tea, coffee or juice were also offered and they even gave us breakfast to take to the room, due to a family member not being mobile enough to make it to breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious and there wasn’t anything I had that I didn’t enjoy.
Planes would fly directly overhead between 7am and about 10pm but this would be the same for all the hotels on Chaweng beach, so this isn’t a hotel issue, but something to be weary of if you wanted total quiet! We can’t wait to return here in the future, ขอบคุณมาก!

Room was very clean. Staff was very nice at check-in and really went out of their way to make the room special for our honeymoon.

However, at checkout, we asked for a 30 minute extension and that was refused. You would think they could be slightly flexible because 30 minutes would have made the biggest difference.

They also did not have a a safe place to keep our baggage. We see this occasionally in Asia and it does not make western travelers feel very safe. I was just expected to leave all of my luggage in the lobby and their response was that there is a camera but if somebody wants to take something, it’s going to be long gone even if a Camera is able to spot the person.

Lastly, we came back after a day of walking around and tried to lay at the pool and we’re told that we could not use the daybed because they were cleaning up to get ready for dinner. It’s a little frustrating as a guest of the hotel, not to be able to use the beds next to the pool at any time- particularly 5:30pm.

Vi havde et ok ophold på Elephant Resort. Værelset var dejlig lyst og rengøring var god. Der var en del tissemyre, men det generede ikke.
Det er dog godt at vide, at hotellet ligger et sted hvor du næsten hele døgnet høre fly, lette og lande lige henover hovedet.
Den dag vi ankom var poolen så beskidt, at man ikke kunne se bunden, det blev dog bedre efter der blev sat en ekstra pumpe op, på kanten af poolen, som stod og kørte et par dagen.

Hotellet ligger meget centralt, og er perfekt for shopping og restaurant besøg i Chaweng.

Check in was easy but I had to wait for the room to be ready. The resort is a beachfront hotel. However, the rooms has no views of the beach at all. My room has no window. It was just the balcony. And, I I got a room at the very first end and it’s a major walkway that’s why I couldn’t really open my curtains. The room was clean but showing it’s age.
Other than that, I liked the ambiance at night. Food and drinks were great. The staff were great.

Elephant club was a lovely place to stay! The room was spotless. The staff was very kind, friendly and accommodating to everything we needed. We had booked for three days and ended up staying eight because it was such a lovely experience. The pool guys were exceptional and took very good care of us! The front desk, woman, Ganda was very helpful and helped us with a seamless extension. The fire show was very good. It happens every night and there are additional events happening as well. Some of them were later than we wanted to stay up, but it looked like fun was had by all! We will definitely return to this little gem by the sea.

Very loud, crying kids, expensive, my adult child was refused admittance (I was in shower when she tried to join me - staff could have searched for my reservation and allowed admittance), tiny beach that’s non-existent during part of day. Despite clearly explaining my allergies, the breakfast still triggered allergies 2 days. Incredibly disappointing. I was given a free massage as a “fix”

Pictures are deceiving. Picked right angles and photoshop. Beach is tiny, beach/restaurant service is rude, owner is rude and enables his staff to provide poor customer service. It is all about the money. Loud at night, bad cocktails, and pool staff yelling at you for no reason

Fun stay, but know that it’s a place for adults!!!

While a family trip for us, we are all adults and so chose Elephant for proximity to nightlife, the Sat night party & firedancing shows. I was surprised to see some families with little kids here, since the environment isn’t really designed for them- plus, the little kids overtook the hotel pool in the late afternoons, annoying. (Parents, you should do better.) Other reviews I read before booking warned about noise but I don’t think it would have been too loud in the hammock suites; we had booked a bungalow and ours unfortunately was located in the middle section that sits parallel to a bar on the Main Street that did karaoke(?)so it was pretty loud with bad singing). Airplane noise and strange whooping animal noises too. (Thankfully, the hotel provides free earplugs!) The staff was wonderful and went the extra step to make our vacation great after a slight hiccup with our airport pick up. The Sat night party & fire dancing show was FUN! The only downside was that the hotel beach has black stuff on the waterline so we didn’t use it at all- we traveled by cab to Lamai Beach, which was costly. Later on, I surmised that the nightly fire shows are causing this effect to the beach, probably destroying wildlife too making me feel very sad and guilty as a tourist who loves these fireshows. My only suggestion to hotel would be to do them every other night instead of nightly- this would also force people to book at least 2 nights. Otherwise, gorgeous property and very kind staff!!!

Great location, with easy access to everything within a few minutes walk maximum.

Food and drinks at the restaurant could not be faulted including excellent breakfast daily.

This property is steps away from restaurants, bars & shopping. It has a night club atmosphere if you stay on the weekend but surprisingly the rooms are quiet. The beach is minimal at high tide but it gets wider if you walk down a bit. They transform the beach at sunset to a chill vibe. Front desk staff are so helpful & kind. The only disappointment is we felt pressured in the day by pool staff to buy drinks or food to be able to sit on our pool chairs. They don’t like it if you leave your chair for some time or try to move chairs either unless you are spending $$$

The room was amazing and kept clean everyday. Location is magical and so close to night life. Very chilled vibe around the pool. Food menu choices were the best although a little limited with breakfast. We could have eaten tempura prawns by the pool all day. Fire show at night is amazing. Cool pool party on Saturday night, very loud though if your room is near the pool. Would definitely come back :)

i loved the location. walking to shops, restaurants and massage salons. staff could not be more friendly. beach area soso but pool was lovely. huge tree to stay ubder if you want shade. only downside is saturday night pool party until 3 am soo loud even airline ear plugs could not block out the noise. fine if you are a party animal. i am not.

Location location! You have all the happening places such as green mango and cabaret shows. Your also next arc bar, but honestly you have everything and a nightly fire show that was AMAZING right at the hotel!! Staff was ultra friendly and the entire hotel was very chic and beautifully decorated! You won’t be disappointed staying here!

Det her ville jeg selv havde ønsket jeg havde vidst på forhånd !
1) Det er selvfølgelig en Beach club men denne er det indtil kl 01.00 om natten !
2) lufthavns fly går direkte ind over hotellet og det larmer meget ca hvert 20-30 minut. Fra ca kl.7 om morgenen
3) poolen er meget lille og de har svært ved at holde den ren man kunne slet ikke se bunden 😬
4) vi boede i en luksus bungalow nr 4 B tættest på poolen og der stod personale hele tiden lige ud for vores terrasse så vi var på ingen måde private .
5) værelserne var pæne og rene og morgenmaden udemærket ingen buffet

The resort is placed in a very vibrant and lively area which we really enjoyed. You will find many great bars nearby.

The view from the room was not great. You are overlooking the passage leading to the pool. Also, there is no window but one huge glass door so anyone passing sees your unmade bed, dirty laundry or eventual mess… or you keep the curtains closed. The bed is comfortable and you get complimentary mosquito repellent.

Poolarea is nice, there is a lot of sun beds and they are placed very tightly. Note that there are NO sunbeds on the beach. This because of the tide. In the evenings, when the tide is low - they place bean bags on the beach and you can sit/lay there and watch the fireshow. It is really nice to sit there and sip on a drink watching the show and all the people.

The breakfast is not a buffet, they have a couple of alternatives that you can choose from. At first we were a bit set back by this, but then we actually came to like it. Since we usually eat the same thing everyday this was no different from a buffet - we got what we wanted, and it was served to us at the table.

Note; every Saturday nite they have a club nite/dj party and it is not just loud - it is insanely loud. You will not be able to sleep until they close at 3.00 am. Even with earplugs it will be like they are playing in your room. It was a disaster. Had we known it was that bad, we would not have stayed here during the Saturday, but shorten our stay.

Værelset var lyst og fint, vi boede (heldigvis længst væk fra pool området) da der hver aften var en voldsom larm derfra, samt fra nabo hotellet, men der hvor vi boede, var larmen til at holde ud. Superbe expérience à l’hôtel Éléphant beach club à Koh Samui. Dès l’arrivée, le personnel se montre d’une gentillesse remarquable, toujours souriant, disponible et attentif. Le niveau de qualité de l’établissement est très élevé, autant dans les espaces communs que dans les prestations proposées. La chambre était d’une propreté irréprochable, parfaitement entretenue, avec une vraie sensation de confort et de soin du détail. Tout est réuni pour passer un séjour mémorable. L’ambiance est à la fois calme et festive, avec un équilibre très appréciable, jamais excessif, toujours respectueux du repos. Le lieu convient aussi bien aux familles qu’aux jeunes adultes, chacun y trouve facilement sa place. Un hôtel qui combine détente, convivialité et qualité, dans un cadre idéal.

Hotell för den lite yngre publiken väldigt mycket människor runt poolen inget lugnt och ro. Men gillar man liv och rörelse musik och så då är det ett bra hotell. Lite enklare. Resturangen mycket bra.

Generally a good resort with clean rooms and Amazing staff (where not in Thailand!) , however what isn’t emphasized enough is the fact that it’s a beach club meaning that there is a disco beat on from 2pm until 2am. The weekends are even worse when music. Is loud until 3 am! To make things worse the neighbors are also making a lot of noise and it feels like there are trying to outdo eachother! So if you want peace and quietness this is not the place for you! There is also a fire show on every night from 730 pm until 2330 pm (!) and beside the fact that after seeing it once you know the show, you will also smell of petrol all night
