Happy with our 1st stay in the large family suite and the good breakfast ($7/person), we booked again on way back for the Champagne suite. The well kept big house can view the river from balconies of some rooms or the rooftop terrace (don't miss the sunrises). The hosts live on site and the lady was friendly and nice to talk to.

While the woman who greeted us was very nice as well as the people serving breakfast were very attentive, there are a few things that were disappointing. First there isn’t really a view of the river at all, well a small glimpse through overgrown tall trees. additionally, there is a small refrigerator in the “lobby” where there is pepsi, diet gingerly, regular gingerly, water, and ices, all for an honor system payment of $1 for water and $2 for cans of soda. i was expecting more of a variety, maybe that is on me. the room was fine. the landscaping was nice. the facility is locked up after hours with a code you are given for the front door which is also nice. Breakfast has an assortment but they were over attentive constantly asking if we wanted eggs or pancakes. probably trying to be helpful. but we were trying to converse.
i thought it was closer to the town than it was, so we simply used the location for sleeping. it was very quiet and a peaceful walk down along the rlower road aligning the river.

I wanted to change my stay from two days to one day, because of family reasons. The owners would not agree to forego charging me for the second evening. I stayed one night and paid for two nights. Expensive. I guess money is more important to them than customer satisfaction. I will not return to this facility and I would not recommend it.

Riverview B&B is a gem! My partner and l thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Close to Gananoque, yet far enough away. A 23-mile cycling/walking path, mostly flat, is across the road. Bikes are available for use and the breakfast is simple yet phenomenal.
If you are looking for a quiet getaway that is close to Gananoque for excursions, this is the place for you! The only caveat would be that couples would benefit more than families with children. I actually thought it would be a perfect place for a business team retreat for team-building.

This property is namesake Riverview but it is not and no views of water. A similar property was available for much cheaper in the Gananoque city which is not far.

Very pleasant stay and very nice people. Breakfast was very good and the suite was comfortable and spacious. Unfortunately, the TV didn't work properly but that was not a big issue. Some tissues would have been useful and maybe a tea towel. Otherwise, it was well situated with a pleasant view from the balcony. Highly recommended.

Our favourite Canadian experience yet. A last minute booking as we started to get tired on our drive, the owners responded to our email promptly and gave us self check in instructions. The room was spotless and silent, shower amazing and the bed was our best nights sleep! The breakfast is just brilliant, we had been in Canada for 4 days and not had a single good breakfast so we were so grateful for such a wonderful fresh spread and wonderful hosts. We’ve already said we will definitely come back. Thank you so much.

The carpet in the room was very dirty with black walking paths in the main room. The room is very small so the paths were from the door to the bed, around the bed and from the bathroom to the bed. There was no comfortable seating in the room. We were glad we were only staying one night.

And while the two-bathroom set up is convenient, the privacy issue for a couple (two couples, or other adult configurations requiring 2 king beds and sofa bed) needs to be addressed.

We had to change plans last minute when it was too hot to camp and this B&B was in the perfect location and was a wonderful spot. The room was incredibly spacious (we were in the River Side Queen Bed room) and was outfitted with everything you'd need. Breakfast was 7.00 CAD, but we opted to try one of the local spots instead, but it looked good and that's a deal for the area! Thanks for a great stay- we plan to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Riverview. A young woman called Deeksha (not sure about the spelling) gave us a warm welcome and served a full breakfast the next morning.
The only caveat is the steep stairs up to the front porch.Our suite on the main floor was great, with a very comfy bed. If stairs are a problem for you, book the Champagne suite on the main floor.

I wish the living room and bed room were switched back. Now the floor of living room is carpet and bedroom is cement which is really cold to walk on. And since the bed room is too small, there is no space to put any night stand on either side of the bed. This is very inconvenient! Also the room keeps loosing electricity due to using using several electrical devices at the same time. Other than that, I've got nice location and friendly service, and the breakfast is great!
