Toilet kept plugging. We were told by the manager that we could not put toilet paper in the toilet and needed to put in the bin. That is disgusting! The room was in bad condition with stained furniture and beaten-up cheap cabinets. The kitchenette was a joke with no accessories other than a microwave and small refrigerator. The cabinets were completely empty. And finally, upon checking out we had to wait in the lobby for 15 minutes while our room was inspected as if we were trying to steal things. Not a nice send off at all.

On the positive side, the grounds were beautiful and most of the staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. But there were too many problems for us to enjoy our stay.

1.2025, The room wasn't ready on time and we had to wait for 45 minutes before we could see the room. Our reserved room didn't have an HVAC heating or cooling. There was one ceiling fan and window for the room ventilation. The paint on the walls looked dull and needed a fresh coat of paint. Breakfast isn't included. In my opinion, Forest Lodge failed to meet our expectations. We canceled our reservation within 20 minutes of our arrival and left. Based on our experience, I don't recommend this hotel for the reasons stated above.

Attentive staff, decent lobby and room, food was ok, but they really need to double down on tending to details- toilet seat and sink faucet loose and wobbly- minor annoyances. Room door did not fully close, and you don't realize it- serious security issue. Ordered room service for dinner one night, salt provided in a small bowl, with chunks of some black contaminant. Gotta sign a receipt to borrow an umbrella- ridiculous.
Checkout took over 10 minutes- inefficient; glad we left very early. Tried to charge us for minibar items we didn't consume- sloppy (or dishonest). Overall, mediocre at best. If we go to Baguio again we will try a different hotel.

Staff: all polite and accommodating with our needs
Room: floor was dusty, my son was crawler, he just needed to be clean before we leave and housekeeping was kind to tidy up the room.
Bathroom: the tiles caulking was discolored, sink drained was yellow. We just have to scrubbed first before we use it, water was leaking on the floor at the water closet, just realized at the 3rd day.
Beds were all clean and comfy to sleep
Crib/cot: was provided, my little one slept good and no bed bugs
Sofa: my son got bitten with bed bugs. On our 3rd night my little was having low grade fever from teething so we stayed at living room and slept on the big sofa. In the morning fever was got but he was all

Whenever we visit the Philippines, we stay at Camp John Hay. We feel safe here. I like the fact that they have Drivers’ Quarters.

They do need to provide face, hand towels and a box of kleenex.

The bar that is used as double lock for the room was broken, and the cover for the peep hole on the door was also broken. Anybody from outside can peep through it. Also the door has gaps by the door locks that you can peep through. Other than that, our stay was a good.

It was in a serene and beautiful location. Customer service is top notch. Studio suite was huge! The only things preventing me from choosing this hotel again is the rooms didn’t have A/C and the water pressure in the shower is abysmal! In addition, even though they have free Wi-Fi, it is unsecured and unfortunately my VPN software would not connect.
The big window plus the fans did help keep the room cool. The downside is you’ll hear all the noise from the parking lot.
With the extremely weak water pressure in the shower, make sure you don’t flush the toilet and you have plenty of time to wait for the water to warm up.
However, despite all these, we still enjoyed our stay.

Stayed at 2 rooms. Was very happy until upon check out we were told we ate some of their food at the room counter. This is impossible because we do not eat processed foods. Lesson learned. Please check the inventory upon arrival so that we will not be charged incorrectly.

What an awesome find! I wasn’t familiar with the area or location and pleasantly surprised with the hotel and location. Imagine dealing with traffic and only find a hotel in nature with modern conveniences and incredible staff.

The rooms are extremely large, beds are comfortable, location is perfect and nature surrounds you without the hustle and bustle of city streets.

It is a very upscale hotel in a beautiful setting. The room was large with comfortable beds, a hair dryer and great minibar.

There was no breakfast included (which is common in a lot of the Philippine hotels) and the prices for food were a bit high in the restaurant.

It was much more expensive than some of the city Center hotels but not bad for the lovely surroundings, proximity to the airport and the size of the rooms.

The place is perfect for the Christmas season because of the ambience and facilities. What ruined our stay was the presence of boisterous and inconsiderate guests in one room who partied there and the management belatedly reprimanded them. After somebody complained perhaps. There should be a strict policy on this so that the other guests would not be disturbed.
