Not 1 power point worked in the room. I wish I had checked this before we went out as I didn’t want to call someone late at night and get a $80 call out fee. No one at reception till 10am check out and no one would answer the phone. Had to leave half hair done and no phones charged. Large, really comfortable room (twin queen beds) with lots of storage. Fantastic bathroom setup. Excellent service from all staff. Easy parking even for large 4WDs. Fantastic location at Gold Creek near select family tourist attractions and multiple cafes nearby to cater for the traveller (this room does not have a kitchenette - only tea making facilities). Motel caters to large group travellers such as school groups routinely.

Our recent stay here was ok however there were a few things that could be improved upon. The room was spacious however a little dirty and could have been vacuumed better. There was rubbish under the beds. We are elderly and would have preferred a room that did not require stairs to access. The room was also very noisy due to the location of the generators or air-conditioning units directly on the outside of back wall of the room. The room heating did not seem to be working correctly however there were extra blankets so able to keep warm. The beds were comfortable. Great location however.

The staff were super friendly and provided excellent check-in instructions. Checking in and out after hours was very easy. The rooms are clean. During my stay, I switched rooms - from a bunk room with bunk beds to a family room. The AC heating worked fine in the bunk room, but unfortunately, it wasn't functioning in the family room. The staff provided a heater, which was helpful, but having the AC heating working would have been better.
All in all, excellent value for money. I highly recommend this accommodation.

2) In similar order than previous one. We were 4 people, thay gave us only 2 towells. My room had two queen beds, why only two towells. And again, no way to fix it because the reception was closed.

The hotel was poorly maintained. The room had a lot of mosquitoes and flies, so we had to go to the store to buy spray to get rid of them. There was no hairdryer in the room, and the freezer in the fridge was not working—it was completely full of ice. The sink drain was clogged and did not flow properly. The carpet was very small, uncomfortable, and in poor condition.
Due to these issues, we had to check out early and move to another hotel. We were unable to sleep on the second night.

We’ve stayed at this hotel before in different rooms, and unfortunately, the cleaning and maintenance issues have been consistent each time. That said, the room served its purpose as a place to sleep for the night.
This time, we booked an accessible room due to mobility issues (not wheelchair users). The accessibility features were well-designed, including a drop-down wall shower seat, grab rails, and a threshold-free floor for easy wheelchair access. Having two toilets—one separate from the main bathroom—was a convenient touch. However, the hands-free shower head was difficult to keep in position when using the fold-down seat. The bathroom floor also became extremely wet outside the shower area because the overly long shower curtain bunched up and stuck together, causing water to leak out.
On a positive note, the beds were comfortable enough, and the room included tea, coffee, a fridge, a decent TV, good storage space, reverse cycle anircon and free Wi-Fi.
We had an after-hours check-in, which was smooth and hassle-free. Despite staying during the extremely busy Summernats car event period, we had no trouble with noise.
Another big plus is the ample free parking, pharmacy, KFC, McDonalds and Gold Creek just outside the door.

The only thing I didn't like in Leumeah Lodge unit we were given was the strong smoke smell in the room. Need to neutralize the smoke smell from the carpet, which I believe is the culprit.
I thought all unit is a non-smoke area. If so, it's best to warn the guests about it. Should they be smoking inside the room, it's best the penalize them with a fine as you need to neutralize the smell in the room to be more welcoming to all guests everytime.

We've stayed here twice already and like how its so close to different attractions for the kids, we also like the overall look of the property.
This time we notice our room was abit dirty, the carpet had a sticky patch (like someone dropped honey) and my kids stepped on and it got stuck to their foot. It would have been nice to have microwave in the room because having a toodler that needs his milk warmed up would have been convenient.
