Very basic room
Sherri
While the room was clean there wasn’t any air conditioning, no fan in the room, it is t a wheelchair accessible facility, no luggage carts, no access to a water fountain nor ice. The staff that was there when we arrived was nice but certainly didn’t go above and beyond. The room was warm however we could open the patio doors to get some cool air in. We visited the property mid September. I would not recommend this facility for the warmer months. The elevator is quite a distance from the front lobby, our friend who was injured 2 weeks before our trip struggled getting to/from room. The TV was really small for the space and the mirror over the desk was useless since it was turned long way, you could only see yourself from about the hips down. We were also told that the only access point to/from the property was the Front lobby. The lobby was decorated eclectic and fun and the breakfast staff person was extremely nice.
Catherine
Lovely room with comfy bed. Great location.
Doris
It was nice!
Jennifer
The staff were very nice. A fan was provided in the room. Location was superb! Walkable to town and easy to get to many beautiful places, including the Beara Penninsula drive.
Michael
Everything was excellent. Pool, hot tub etc was a great extra! Staff very good.

Ideal location, service leaves a lot to be desired
Hotel is in an ideal location. The food in the restaurant is quite nice. The room was comfortable.
The reception staff have a strange manner and aren't particularly friendly. The staff in the restaurant are a mix between very friendly and rude.
The underfloor heating in the bathroom of our room didn't seem to work. We're not sure the thermostat worked either. Our room was an adjoining room and we could hear the group next door quite well. The fire escape door outside our room was left propped open which created a cold breeze

The stay overall was very good incl the food in the restaurant. Beds were comfortable ,though short if your 183cm like me. Pillows could be alot better.
Patricia
We loved this hotel as a place to stay in Co Kerry. It’s conveniently located with an easy walk into the city centre. The hotel has great amenities, like a pool and spa, and the staff are very helpful.
Cavan
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed using the pool before breakfast when it wasn't busy.
We felt there wasn't enough social space to sit and have a coffee and chat with other guests. There also seemed to be a problem with the courtyard bar which wasn't open during our stay.

Friendly welcome, lovely room with comfortable bed & well appointed bathroom. We ate in the Bistro, service was a bit slow but food was good & staff were friendly. Short walk into town.
Granville
Love having access to Olympic size pool, dry sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Hotel is lovely. Quiet, comfortable with large rooms.
Nick
I liked everything about it
Mia
This place was lovely and a quick walk into town. We took in a play at the local theatre and it was the best I’ve seen in ages- laughed all the way through and only 15 euros (Carnegie players).
Highly recommend this hotel we loved our stay here.

Quiet stay.
The staff at the desk was kind, helpful and informative. Hotel lobby, halls and room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The floor in the bathroom was heated. There’s a restaurant, bar, health room and pool on site. They were doing major construction to the entrance of the lobby. Walk to downtown was 5 minutes.

Everything is excellent
Priscilla
Our stay at Kenmare Bay Hotel was pleasant. The staff are very nice. Our room and bath were clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast and dinner options are very good. The hotel is within a 3 minute walk from the center of Kenmare, which has numerous restaurants and shops. We did have a problem with the heat. It had been turned off for that room and we had to ask to have it turned back on. The shower drain was not draining properly, consequently standing water accumulated in the bottom of the shower stall. We did mention the issue to the front desk when we checked out. Otherwise we had a nice stay.
Marcia
Easy walk to town. Enjoyed our stay here!
Robb
Very nice property with many amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good location. If you don't mind walking, reasonable distance to pubs and restaurants.
Rev Mervyn
We had booked a Superior room through Expedia...when getting to our room it was clean but a bit dated...the bathroom could do with a makeover. Heating was an electric radiator. When we returned to the receptionist she apologised as we'd been placed in a basic room. She reduced the room rate having offered a move. Overall it was handy to Kenmare, 10 minute walk. The staff were lovely.
Margaret
Very good location, very clean hotel, very friendly and helpful staff! What more can I say…my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay. Our only observation is that the listing indicates a lift however not all rooms are accessible by the lift.
