Amazing quadruple room in the attic (may be a problem if you are very tall), clean, spacious, quiet, free parking, not accessible and no elevator. Check in, we needed to call a phone number displayed at the entrance to get the code for the key box (heartfelt thank you to the guest that helped us with the process)

The Schafli is a companion hotel to the Hotel Uzwil which is a good 4*.
Breakfast was at the Uzwil, a 10 minute walk but worth it as an above average breakfast in a lovely clean restaurant.
The bedroom at Schafli was clean, good sized shower room and functional. No staff on site and seems to cater over business overnight customers.
Very handy for the excellent rain service across Switzerland and cheaper than Zurich

We were very happy with this hotel. It was a nice surprise. I loved the cleanliness and parking. The little extras were very nice as well. Water, tea, and fruit plus a few toiletries. After traveling all day this was a nice comfortable place to rest. We came in Oct. and the temp in the room was pleasant.

This is not a Hotel more like a Hostel. No service only wending machines. For me as a 1 night stay chamber was OK with good WI FI but no breakfast or other services.

Automated Check-in system could be improved
We had problem using the automated check-in system at this hotel. We were asked to key in the 10 digit confirmation number but the confirmation number from hotels.com was 13 digit and thus we were unable to use the system. We had to wait for assistance from the staff at Hotel Uzwil which was the sister hotel near the train station.

Der Zustand des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet, der Ausbau hochwertig. Der Self-Check-in hat gerade nicht funktioniert, als ich angekommen bin. Der Schallschutz im Haus ist nicht sehr gut, insgesamt ist das Hotel aber super. Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut.

La limpieza era excepcional. Una habitación preciosa y muy grande. Muy bien decorada. Abajo hay una cocina para poder desayunar o comer con cafetera, microondas, mesa y un jardín amueblado muy bonito. No tiene aire acondicionado y tuvimos que dormir con las ventanas abiertas y como está en una carretera principal, se oía muchísimo el tráfico. El que no tenga personal de recepción ya lo sabía pero si ocurre algún problema nadie puede ayudarte, hay que ir a otro hotel. Así que no reservaré más un hotel sin personal.

Das Zimmer ist ok für ein Doppel extrem klein noch als Einzelzimmer Belegung klein. Es kein Schrank, nur 5 Kleiderbügel zum aufhängen der Kleider.

Wir fanden das Hotel ok, Preis war verhältnismäßig moderat für die Schweiz. Schönes schlichtes Design. Das Zimmer wurde nicht wirklich gereinigt (eher sporadisch), lediglich Betten wurden gemacht, Handtücher ausgetauscht und frisches Wasser/Kaffeepads gab es fast jeden Tag auf Zimmer. Alles in allem ok.

Die Reservation hat corona-bedingt zwar nicht funktioniert (Automaten-Checkin). Der Service, um eine Lösung zu finden, war dann aber sehr gut. Es war nicht mein erster Besuch in den Hotels der Familie Bühler. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert. Die Hotels sind modern und gut unterhalten.

Beautiful hotel in a convenient location. Easy automatic check-in and perfect car parking. The room (top floor) was extremely large, very well furnished and with a very comfortable bed. Very nice lounge area to heat up food and have hot drinks.

très bon séjour d'une nuit à l'hotel SCHAFLI.visiblement il est tout neuf. pas de réception, l'enregistrement se fait sur une borne qui délivre les cartes d'accès (manque de chance pour nous ça ne fonctionnait pour nous). Après avoir fait appel via l'interphone une personne est venue en 3 minutes pour nous donner nos cartes.

Der SelfCheckin funktionierte problemlos. Das Zimmer war schön, geräumig und modern. Leider waren aber die Storen defekt und so war es in der Nacht relativ hell. Die Dusche und das Bett waren einwandfrei.
