From the moment we arrived until we left, we had a fantastic experience staying at this property. The staff were great, the room was immaculate and it’s close enough to Oia to comfortably walk without being in the hustle and bustle. Fabulous! Just outside the busy pedestrianised part of Oia but an easy max 10 minute walk to get there. Our room was stunning - felt very new, everything was super clean, was well appointed, the bed was the comfiest I've slept in in years, ad the balcony and hot tub were great. Breakfast was served on our patio at a time of our choosing and was great. Staff super friendly and helpful.

This was one of the most beautiful stays I’ve ever had. The setting is far more beautiful than ever imagined. The suites were ultra private and staff always in hand to help- whether delivering food to door, arranging transportation, making recommendations. One the best places ever. Beaty of Oia without people peering into your private setting. Personal hot tub above the residence. Walkable to all of the major spots. Affordable. Luxurious. Wonderful menu.

This hotel is beautiful and located in a great spot in OIA. It is close enough (5 min walk) to the main shopping area, but far enough to be away from the crowds. The staff was so nice and accommodating. They allowed us to check in early and helped us with anything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Overall, we had a good stay at Sole d'oro. This was one of the few properties that allowed us to house 5 people in a room with a loft, which was a huge plus. I also liked that it was in Oia, away from the main shops. While there isn't that \"caldera view\", I much preferred that our taxi was able to drop us off at the hotel and the staff helped us carry our bag to our rooms. It's also a short 15-20 minute walk to the main part of Oia.

We were warmly greeted right away with a welcome drink. The room was a bit tight for 5 people but comfortable nonetheless. The one feedback is wishing the bathroom was bit a cleaner. The outdoor jacuzzi fits 2 and is a nice way to destress in the evening. The breakfast was also a perk because it's served in the balcony of your room. It would've been nice if there was water given for breakfast, but there is a supermarket a few minutes away which was convenient. The staff was helpful in setting up restaurant reservations by email. And at check-out, the staff gave us a few items as a souvenir, which was a sweet gesture!

Overall, a good option to stay in Oia! I definitely recommend staying in Oia if it's your first visit to Santorini.

The hotel staff was incredible - they pampered us. The hotel is a 5 min walk from downtown Oia - close enough to enjoy without the noise from all of the crowds. The room was spacious- our family of 5 had plenty of room. The free breakfast was delicious and very filling. You were able to see the famous Oia sunset from the patio. Highly recommend!!

Staff was kind and helpful like the other hotels we’ve been to in Greece. However, the hot tub was cold and the area is very windy. You will get sick if you try the hot tub and they are unable to fix it. They will claim it is the proper temperate at “38 degrees” but after leaving this hotel and booked another one a few MINUTES of walking, the temperature was nice and hot despite the windy area.

We have attempted a refund as we could not even stay one day there but they declined multiple times and cheated us of our 4 other days without refund.

Additionally, it’s on the other side of the Caladera so the view isn’t the best.

Once they take your money, it’s GONE.

Great service from all of the staff at Sole d'oro Luxury Suites. They were helpful with luggage, breakfast service, booking transportation and activities, and everything about our stay. The location - near the restaurants, shops, and sights in Oia, but not right in the middle of the crowds - was perfect. About a 5-10 minute walk to the town for meals and sightseeing.

The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and very clean with all the toiletries you may need. The hotel's location is convenient, offering easy access to everything. We particularly enjoyed the view, which allowed us to enjoy the sunset, and the hot tub was a great addition—we used it a lot. First of all, the location is excellent, outside enough of the busy part Oia but you can still walk into town easily.
The team itself were unbelievably friendly and helpful. They were so kind and attentive and you got the impression they really cared about you having an amazing trip. They helped us so much with recommendations and arranging transfers and that sort of thing.
The property is lovely too, our room was great and the view of the sunset you get from your hot tub was truly special. The breakfasts delivered to your room in the morning are also wonderful and we thought that was such a nice touch!
Thank you so much to the whole team, we had such an amazing time and I would recommend highly recommend this hotel!!

Me and my 8 year old daughter stayed at this apartment for a few days . We had an amazing stay here staff was extremely kind and very helpful, and the apartment was very clean .we had cleaners coming to are room everyday ..The breakfast was very nice and also the hotub We had a late flight home and check out was at 11am so we had a long day waiting around to go home however the reception lady called ljupka said we can stay a bit longer in are room and we was so grateful. When checking out we was surprised with gifts my daughter got given a donkey teddy bear and she was over the moon . We have had the best experience staying Sole D'oro Luxury Suites and will definitely stay again and will definitely recommend to friends and family . We have had an amazing time in Santorini and loved every minute of it x

GREAT STAY WITH EVEN BETTER STAFF

As soon as we arrived, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were great to deal with and helped provide information that assisted during our stay in Oia.
The place was near and tidy and had nice amenities which included 2 x hot tubs; 1 x indoor and 1 x outdoor on the upstairs balcony.
Perfect location which is about a 5 minute walk from the restaurant & shops and of course the popular blue domes.
Breakfast was also included during our stay and Gian nailed that for us on both mornings which set us up well for our days in Santorini.
10/10 Highly recommended stay. You will definitely not go wrong.

This hotel is fantastic! Great location in Oia. 5 minute walk tonthe main Oia shops and restaurants.. quiet and private. The hotel itself is modern, clean and very well maintained. Ljupka and the team at Sole D’Oro were fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about them. They really went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. They helped with restaurants reservations, transportation to airport, and even when we arrived 5 hours late due to flight delay they were patiently waiting for us with drinks upon arrival and had everything prepared perfectly. They prepared breakfast every morning and delivered right on time … the team catered to our every need, I can’t wait to go back. Thanks Ljupka and team!!! You really made our anniversary trip special.

The property was at a prime location near the busy tourist area of Oia. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the shops, restaurants, blue domes, and picturesque views of Santorini. The room itself was nice and the white walls really gave us the feeling of being outside of the United States. The beds were comfortable and it had all that we needed for the 2 nights we stayed in the area. I just wish the rooms had more storage and/or table top area. Having a private jacuzzi was a plus and made it feel like we were staying in a 5 star luxury resort. The best part of Sol d'oro are the people. Every single person we came in contact with, from check-in, bar service, every SINGLE PERSON, made our stay amazing! They did all they could to accommodate our needs, answered our questions, accommodated our desire to take pictures of the Santorini sunset in an area of the hotel that wouldn't necessarily be available to us. The complimentary breakfast was delicious.

Had a FANTASTIC stay at Sole! The sunset from the room's private balcony was perfect and we all really enjoyed the private hot tub. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. Best of all was the caring staff made the stay feel so personalized. Please note that while Expedia shows this property as 3.5 stars, it's very clearly a 5-star resort based on the unique amenities mentioned, rooms and staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My goodness I could not say enough good things about this place! We decided last minute to take a trip to Santorini and we’re welcomed by Lupka and her team. Our room wasn’t ready but she kept our luggage and offered us welcome gifts and drinks. She also helped us surprise some friends for dinner by going out of her way to call different places for me. Really loved the location, staff and breakfast options.
We were big fans of the dedicated jacuzzi. The view from our room was stunning. We were close to loads of shops, lunch/dinner options and car/atv rental options.
We appreciated them accommodating for our early arrival. They kept the facility and rooms super clean.
The food & drinks they offered was delicious. Loved the foamy cappuccino!

This is a great place to stay in Oia for a reasonable price. It's about two blocks off the main street of Oia with a few out to the sea on the other side. Fairly new, well kept, really nice staff, and each room has a private hot tub - although it could have been a couple of degrees warmer.

Cons: location and views are not comparable to other luxury hotels. You are a moderate/significant walk from the best views and restaurants.

Reason for ‘disappointing’: hotel refused to shift my reservation back a day despite ample availability in a situation that would have been a win-win, citing only “policy.” I thought this was ridiculous. We booked elsewhere for the last night.

Very nice hotel close to Oia but not in the luxurious mountains with amazing views. Staff were exceptional and friendly always looking to accomodate any needs and make recommendations. The private hot tub was great and hot (suprisingly many hotels consider warm water hot). It seems to be family run and the pride shines thru.

Only negative i can say would be that they only give you one bottle of water per stay and 2 coffee capsules. We stayed 6 nights and for 450 Euros per night for a hotel a bit outside of the centre with little views these small inclusions would have been welcomed considering water in Greek stores are capped at 1 Euro.

The luxury transfer from airport or port can be easely arranged from hotel at a resonable cost of 50 Euros and one pro to the location is that its right off a main road that is accessible by car so no need to.lug your luggage thru the crowded narrow streets and mounains of Oia.

Highly recommended. Convenient location and newer clean property. Most of all, the staff are absolutely amazing. They go extra mile to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. From welcome drinks to arranging transportation and dinner options. Best value in Oia with delicious breakfast. The town is absolutely stunning. Thank you Ljypka and Giannis for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay and visit to Santorini very much. Peredini is fantastic for dinner.

Excellent 4 night stay in the Superior Villa. The staff really went above and beyond to show our large family an excellent time. Breakfast was wonderful, the drinks were delicious, and the help from the receptionist to book excursions and dinner reservations that were kid-friendly was amazing.

The hotel is not right on the water like some in Oia, but the view is great and the staff made it one of my favorite hotels ever. You are conveniently located to all the shopping and restaurants in Oia, which was my favorite spot on the island, but you are just outside of any crowds or noise there. The made-to-order breakfast is fantastic. Definitely recommend and would return.

Beautiful place worth repeating

Enjoyed a 3 night beautiful stay at Sole Doro. The staff including Ljupka, the bar tender and the entire staff are very friendly and nice. Great location - walking distance to Oia main town center, Fira-Oia trek. Everything is perfect. One point to note- hotel doesn’t have caldera but coast line sea view. Beautiful view of sunset from room terrace
