I would have liked for a tour of the area to be provided and/or explained. The area is truly a maze and it was difficult to navigate. However, if a tour or an explanation would have been provided beforehand, it would have made things much more enjoyable, as people would know where things are actually located, as opposed to just looking at a map, which did not provide an adequate location and distance of things.

Book this! There were many options when planning and was unsure with what to choose - we are so glad we went with Thirea Suites! The view is absolutely breathtaking. Downtown Oia is only about 5 minute walking distance as you are just at the perfect location right at the start of the town. Breakfast was delivered to the balcony every morning, the hot tub was also perfect! Staff was incredibly helpful in scheduling transfers to/from the port and they let us store our luggage on check out day until our flight. The cave-feel was unlike anything we’ve stayed at before. Such a great find!

Incredible hotel with terrific staff. The views of the sea were magical and the breakfasts were delicious. From our porter meeting us at the parking lot and carrying all our luggage to the great suggestions given by the concierge, our stay here was perfect and we would highly recommend this hotel. It’s a lot of steps down but that only adds to the cave-like romantic views set into the caldera stone.

The stay was perfect! Martina greeted us right away and the porter helped us with the luggage. We love the hospitality of the staffs there. Night shift Dimitri is always happy and full of energy , pool bar - bartender he made the best cocktail! Sorry I didn’t catch his name ~ we love the location is so close like 3-5mins walk to the walking street but away enough to be quiet and relax. Room was clean and spacious and the view was incredible! Highly recommend this place for your stay in Oia !!! And we have breakfast delivered to the patio everything morning so we get to enjoy the beautiful view while having our breakfast that was part of the room booking ! Amazing! I can’t recommend Thirea Suites enough. The staff was amazing and so thoughtful. Even before we got there, they were in constant contact with us regarding our arrival and transfer from the airport to make sure it was seamless. When we arrived, she gave a detailed rundown of the island and things to do. The hotel is strategically located right next to where the road ends for the taxis so unlike other hotels you don’t have to walk far at all. Then, we finally saw our room. It was so beautiful and I’d highly recommend the “Luxury Suite” to anyone as it has the best blend of privacy and view from the jacuzzi tub. The room was perfect and a new breakfast each day on the balcony was perfect. Towards the end of our three night stay, I proposed to my girlfriend and worked with the staff to setup decorations on the private terrace and in our bedroom. Everything was stunning and my girlfriend loved it. I highly recommend this hotel due to the staff, amazing view and cleanliness, and great location.

Excellent accommodations. Private. Beautiful views. Breakfast delivered to our veranda was delicious. The hot tub was relaxing every evening. The only caution is the number of stairs down to the unit. While this provides the privacy and beautiful views, if you have any mobility issues this may not be the right option for you.

Thirea Suites was amazing! The staff were all friendly and very hard working. They kept the place spotless and provided huge, delicious breakfasts on your patio or room. The hotel was about 85 steps down from the main walking path. This made it very quiet for the night. Highly recommend this location!

Oct, 2023… I took my mom here to celebrate her birthday. It was an amazing trip. The staff at this hotel made it more amazing. Excellent communication, friendly, breakfast was great! Beautiful view from my hotel. Clean and safe.. walking distance to Oia. .. public transportation to Fira right outside to fronts would absolutely stay here again!!! Dimitri was wonderful and attentive .. he surprise my mom with a birthday cup cake and champagne

Lovely property and views. Our room was quite large and we had an incredible view. Breakfast was delivered to our room and was fresh and delicious, we ate outside on the patio appreciating the vistas. Note it’s important to be able to navigate the stairs up and down to the villas.

Most peaceful, quiet and friendly staff of anywhere we have ever stayed. Anastasia goes above and beyond to mute sure your stay is amazing, morning breakfast outside of our room every morning was always delicious! Just watching Dimitri being able to carry 70 pounds of luggage over his shoulder in one trip and go up and down 119 steps was impressive! The view is amazing and I would highly recommend staying here if you want peace and quiet with a great view.

If there’s a better place to stay on Oia then I didn’t see it. This room is perfect for two people. Magnificent views; a spa overlooking the Caldera; comfortable room; scrumptious breakfast delivered to the room. Staff and service were amazing. There’s a bus stop nearby but I recommend walking to the town centre and catching one from there.

Excellent hotel. The staff are amazing and the rooms are excellent. View is unparalleled and it is amazing for a great vacation to the heart of Santorini. Steps might be a drawback for someone with knee or heart issues but we were fine with that.

Even I'm very active with sports but the stairs have build in this hotel was insane and wouldn't recommend any parents or elder to stay here. Also, had issue with hot water that comes for 5 minutes then get cold water, and finally jet tub had lot of bugs in water and dirty.
Definitely I paid way too much for the hotel that I didn't enjoy most in my Europe trip.

The location, view, cleanliness, style, breakfast and staff are simply amazing. By far one of the top hotels I’ve ever stayed in anywhere in my life. The front desk girl made our stay wonderful, helping with booking day trips, restaurant reservations and was always cheerful and happy. She made our stay extra special. Every morning we were served a fresh and different breakfast on our balcony. Such a wonderful hotel, loved it so much.

This was a fantastic experience! To stay in a typical cliff side room. We got plenty of exercise walking up and down the steps, which felt good after a few days. Having our breakfast delivered every morning, while overlooking the caldera was truly the best way to start every day. The staff were so kind, gracious and treated us like family. We could not have been more pleased!! We were communicating with them often, to ensure they could guide us to the activities that were important to us, and they were spot on with their recommendations. We truly enjoyed our cooking class at Secret Kitchen, were we treated as family as we chatted and learned to cook in a fabulous indoor/outdoor space! We look forward to returning in the future!

Wonderful 5 star Thirea Suites
Thirea suites has a fantastic view from every room and the rooms are large and extremely tastefully decorated. They have the little touches as well such as an ironing board, coffee maker, towels specific for the dipping pools, a taste of the Vino Santo with a vouple of chocolates on arrival. Breakfasts are delicipis with Anna carefully mixing new Greek recipes each day to the culinary delight of guests. The best of all for us was Irini, speak to her and let her arrange your tours in Santorini and even before staying in Santorini, she is more kind and proficient than any concierge i have ever seen in any 5 star hotel.ahe also goes out of her way for her guests and has an amazing heart for them. The one thing travelers should note is that the stairs have a steep incline and you will need to get used to this or climb up the stairs with breaks, but this is how it os in Santorini. I do not know the name of the porter unfortunaltey but he will carry your bags down and up, not easy please consider this when you meet him, he never has anything but kind words to say dwspite this gruelling task.

It was a great spot, 5 minute walk to the heart of Oia. The staff were fantastic, always on time for breakfast. The room was very clean, great views too! For the price I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful views and pool area. Great breakfast and staff. Very comfortable stay and amazing location. The only downside was the bathroom as we could not stand in the shower since the ceilings were so low.
