The staff was nothing short of amazing. They were waiting for us at 10:30pm to get us checked in and make sure we had everything we need. They carried all of our luggage to our room. Breakfast was served on our balcony at our requested time. Amazing view and room.

- Perfect location in Oia (yet quiet and peaceful)
- Great view from the balcony
- Wonderful and friendly staff who are beyond helpful and go out of their way to make you feel super welcome
- Spacious room with great toiletries
- A very delicious breakfast: fresh, hot, made to order and served on the balcony
- Lovely pool area
- The whole place is immaculately clean
- Excellent touches - bottle of wine, chocolates and Easter gifts
- Commendations to Irina who organised an early breakfast for our day trip and Elsa who sourced adaptors for us
- Enjoyed sitting in the hot tub at twilight
- Enjoyed the cave type feel of the rooms

Best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. From start to finish, hotel arranged transportation from ferry upon arrival and to airport when leaving. Room was huge, pool facing the ocean. Breakfast was incredible, able to choose what you want and when you want to eat. Team is very welcoming, anything you need they are there. Views from the the hotel are stunning. Walking distance to everything. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Thank you!

This was the highlight of our weeklong honeymoon! This resort is worth every penny! The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to restaurants and shops, but it is quietly nestled on the side of the hill, so you don’t hear all of the tour bus traffic once you enter the hotel area. The staff was incredibly friendly and prompt with their service. Every inch of the hotel property is cleaned every day. The breakfast was simply incredible and the pool bar was just as great! We will stay again, and will recommend to all of our friends!

My wife and I chose this hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We have had the privilege of staying at some of the worlds nicest 5 star hotels. And we were amazed at how beautiful this hotel is, and it’s location is perfect. But the best part was the service. The staff treated us like family. The hotel had the sense of a luxury bed n breakfast. Lia at the front desk is the sweetest person. Ivan served us breakfast every morning and was a delight to talk to. Bruno is more than a bar tender, Bruno is an amazing Mixologist. And does it with passion. Very thankful!

This little gem of a property was a dream! Besides a perfect location, it was charming! 8 rooms of various sizes seemingly built into caves on the hill below all the crowds and shopping! You could step outside the property gate and voila you could shop and eat til your hearts content! I had what was probably one of the smallest rooms- it was lovely, well appointed. Breakfast was included and served on your private patio. There was a pool, small bar, and decent menu on property. I feel so lucky to have chosen Filatera after being “stranded” in Santorini for the night after missing a ferry due to a flight delay- perfect one night vacation!

Stayed for 3 nights in early April, which is not the best time for weather in Santorini (windy and cold). But we had a great trip anyway, and this accommodation was one of the best we have ever stayed in anywhere, including Rosewood and One and Only properties around the world. Very helpful and attentive staff, wonderful room with absolutely beautiful terrace and pool pictured above. All areas of the property were spotless. Located right in the heart of shopping and restaurants in Oia. Cannot say enough about this place, and would love to return at a warmer time of year.

A Perfect Stay at A Perfect Location

I stayed at Filotera Suites last October 23-25 at the Athiri Suite. This hotel is just perfection! Prior to booking this hotel, I was going back and forth with another hotel then finally decided on this one. I couldn’t be more happy. The service was too notch and the amenities like the private hot tub which you can use 24 hours a day. The breakfast to live for! They bring the breakfast of your choice in your own private patio. The female receptionists at both shifts have been very helpful. They always have been very helpful to all my inquiries and always with a smiling face. The lady receptionist in the morning recommended to do the sunset viewing on a yacht. I was procrastinating at first but she highly recommended it and I’m glad I followed her advice… it was one of the best thing I did on this vacation. Thank you very much. I promise to visit Santorini again and will definitely book at Filotera Suites again. It is worth every penny!!

We got such a great deal considering the amount we paid for the gorgeoussss view & amazing breakfast every morning. We were here for 4 nights and stayed in the executive suite. We had our own little jacuzzi, a balcony, and the most perfect view. Location was great, it was right on the Main Street close to all the stores and restaurants. Room was a little small but didn’t bother us at all. Everyone was very kind!!!

Our ONLY complaint- do NOT get a massage here. Hands down the worse massage I’ve ever gotten, literally just rubbing oil on me, no pressure & no technique whatsoever. I was actually so shocked at how terrible it was, how can they call themselves a masseuse?! AND it was $160 dollars (130 euros). This was the only time we did not give a tip, and we always do even to the sweet gentleman who brought up our breakfast every morning. Such a scam. But everything else was beyond amazing! Thank you Filotera Suites for making our first trip to Santorini perfect!

We stayed at Filotera Suites for the first leg of our honeymoon and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Maria at the front was so helpful with transportation, booking incredible excursions, and overall making our stay great. Michail at the pool bar also made this hotel feel like you had a local family and is a pro at creative drinks. The food and drinks along with the breakfast coming out each morning were all out of the world. The room was clean, spacious, and had an amazing view. The only downside was that it set the bar so high that we were trying to compare our experiences in Mykonos and Crete afterwards and nothing could come close. Book this hotel with confidence, it was a 5 star experience all the way around. Our honeymoon would not have been the same without both the hotel and the staff.

Our stay at Filotera Suites was nothing short of perfection. Coming from the USA and planning a trip based around my wife's birthday (where I wanted to have surprises) it required a lot of planning and coordination. Maria was extremely helpful simply over email weeks before I even arrived to make sure that our stay would be perfect. All of the staff are capable and friendly but Maria consistently went above and beyond before and during our stay. The hotel is quintessential Oia, situated on the hill, amazing views of the caldera, conveniently located to all the amazing shopping and food in Oia but feels very private. Our suite was beautiful! A private pool, 2 full bedrooms and bathrooms and a modern design. It was way more space than we needed but allowed us to spread out and feel very comfortable. The cave style living is so unique and they nailed the design and aesthetics. The continental breakfast is plentiful and they bring it to your room at whatever time you ask every single morning. Talk about service! On our last night we had to leave early in the morning before the regular breakfast service so they came the night before (unprompted), providing a number of to-go breakfast goodies and even some yogurt in the fridge. They allowed me to make my wife's birthday special and I couldn't have done it without them. If you are coming to Santorini, stay in Oia and stay at Filotera Suites. You won't regret it.

I don’t generally write reviews. However, I must say this hotel is fantastic. Location - couldn’t be any better. It is right off the main walk with accessibility to everything. It is at the top of the mountain. It has the best breeze on the island. The cave rooms are really cool and very nicely done with fantastic views of the caldera. We got the two bedroom suite with the private pool and it was absolutely perfect. Every day the hotel provides the most fantastic fresh breakfast. The fruit was delicious and there was a massive amount and lots of types. The omelettes were perfect with all fresh ingredients. The baked goods are the best on the island. I don’t know what else to say this is an absolutely wonderful hotel with a great staff. We met the owner and he is the kindest nicest, older gentleman. Maria is pretty with a wonderful smile and so helpful. Five Stars from us!

Fabulous boutique hotel of 8 suites in a perfect location. We visited recently as Greece and Santorini was opening up for tourism so there were some restrictions however the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is right in the middle of Oia in a beautiful spot. Would definitely recommend.

Very clean and I felt very safe for me and my family with their COVID-19 standards. The breakfast was amazing as well as the pool. The views were amazing and we never wanted to leave. The room easily fit two couples and a toddler. Will stay there again when we return. Hotel does have a parking lot 300 meters or so away. We found street parking closer to the hotel.

Completely cheated - disgusting experience.

This was worst experience and had to let others know of it. We booked this hotel for $593 for one night stay. Before leaving, we let the hotel know we were family with 2 adults and 2 kids. The hotel did not respond. Once we got there, they let us know that they do not permit kids. But they offered that they will allow kids if we take second suite and pay Euro 425 for second suite directly to her. We were shocked. We had no where to go. We negotiated and agreed to pay Euro 325 for second suite. They took our money. And gave us only one suite. Not two. They took $1000 from us for one suite for one night stay, while similar next door hotels were giving room for $250 + tax!!! We had no where to go at Santorini with our children. And we were cheated for Euro 125 based on hotels.com price of the same room on the very same day. We went to the manager, Elfi, 2 to 3 times to talk and asked for refund of Euro 125. Once she had taken cash, she did not care. She never called the manager/supervisor to return us any money back. We were severely cheated at this hotel. We ended up staying at the hotel paying $1000 / night for one suite. Absolutely disgusting experience! We highly recommend that this hotel management is not trust worthy. It is very very expensive. And there are many other choices more beautiful and cheaper.

This was the most amazing place we've ever stayed and the view was to die for! Check-in was easy and welcoming and the hotel was gorgeous! Our \"family suite\" was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and it seemed like every time we returned from being out, our place had been freshened up. Breakfast was delivered as promised, for a delicious cozy meal on our porch. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and helped us with anything we needed. Effie, at the front desk, provided us with a wealth of information about the island and we saw places that we would have missed if not for her. Filotera Suites really went beyond our expectations and we would love to stay there again.

The Filotera suites were amazing! The people there were so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived! They arranged rides to places, ATVs, and anything else we requested. They were always willing to help with anything. They carry your luggage to and from your room, as there are many steps. The breakfast was yummy and filling, and great to enjoy on your patio area with the amazing view of the Caldera! I would recommend this place to everyone! I would stay there again!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We were treated so nicely by the hotel staff the moment we set foot on the property. The cave room was very private and unique and ours came with a private hot tub. The view was absolutely amazing and breakfast was 5 stars! We stayed at another hotel the following day and didn’t like it as much as this one. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Santorini. Highly recommend!!

When can we go back?! This hotel was AMAZING! Wonderful staff who went above and beyond to make our stay one of a kind, a gorgeous view, and centrally located in the heart of Oia. We extended our stay within an hour of seeing our room! I would highly recommend - you won’t find a better place to stay in Santorini!

Amazing staff and food!

The staff was incredibly helpful with getting us settled in, provided great suggestions for transportation and things to do/where to eat, and made my first trip to Santorini very relaxing and enjoyable. We also loved the greek breakfast! Next time I go back to Santorini, I would absolutely stay here again for a couple days as long as I can afford it!

Excellent location and fantastic breakfast

The location of this place and the breakfast choices as well as the quality of the breakfast make up for certain ways that Filotera didn't meet our expectations. First of all, it was nice that we were offered welcome drinks and Andronis at the reception was very friendly to us before checking in, however as soon as he took us to our room, he rushed in welcoming us, taking only a minute to explain the room and facilities. I was very pleased to see a bottle of wine greeting us on the table, however as soon as we opened and tasted the wine, we lost our appetite for dinner. It was one of the worst tasting wines I've ever had and probably we would have been more welcome without it. I do appreciate the gesture though. The room was very clean but also very small (we stayed in the executive room). The hot tub was in a terrible location (in between our room and another room with no views of the caldera). Our balcony also was very small. The bathroom was nice and spacious given the size of the room. The pool area of the hotel is excellent but the pool itself is also tiny. The temperature of the pool is good and provides for a relaxing swim. The staff at the hotel never greeted me by name, which is something I don't like. Most of the time they didn't even greet me at all and only greeted my husband as they passed by. I did not appreciate this and expected better service. I will complement the kitchen staff for preparing the best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel (honeymoon breakfast

In a word, Amazing!!!!

Everything was amazing from the views, to the room, the staff, the breakfast...everything! Everyone was so warm and welcoming! The views were absolutely phenomenal and surely can't be beat! I love how Filotera Suites is a family owned and operated business!!! It brings a special it factor that other hotels can't provide! Additionally, we were greeted with a bottle of wine from the family's vineyard! It was amazing! We will definitely return!

Simply Amazing

Stayed for 4 nights with our two daughters 7 & 14.
Had a 2 bedroomed caved room with 2 bathrooms. Minibar refilled daily for free with soft drinks and a couple of beers. fruit bowl and bottle of wine on arrival. Plenty of toiletries. Hairdryer, safe, robe, slippers.
Breakfasts are to die for! Order the night before and it is delivered to your terrace and table laid, where you can enjoy the stunning views.
Pool is lovely, small but all very clean, enough beds and parasols, and towels provided. Great pool bar offering lovely food and drinks whilst you are there.Walk out of the gate to the hotel and you are in the midst of all the activity of Oia. Location is perfect.
WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NO NEED TO LOOK ANYWAY ELSE, IT CANNOT BE BEATEN!

Fantastic view

You pay for the view and location (next to the shops and restarurans at Oia),
Coming from a brand new and large hotel in Mikonos (and cheaper), it was not that easy.
Hotel is very ice, the bed is really small (missed my king bed in Mikonos), the location is fantastic in terms of view but the hotel is built in a former winery location, so you feel like you are in a cave.
Apart from that (all Santorini's hotels may be like this), everything was perfect. The best breakfast I had during my trip, served in your balcony, unforgettable experience.
Staff very helpful (thanks Cristina), helped with scooter rental and boat trip.
