The hotel is in the perfect location. The balcony is very private with outdoor jacuzzi with perfect view of water and santorini. The breakfast was absolutely amazing to enjoy with the water view. The room is good size and comfortable. The only con is the bathroom is a little tight and small due to large jacuzzi bathtub. We love the location, walking to the shopping, restaurants, sightseelngs, and near public transportation / taxi stops. The staff is very friendly and helpful in booking day trips.

We stayed 3 nights, the room was facing to caldera. Sima was nice and helped us booked transportation from ferry to hotel and hotel to airport.

Breakfast was super delicious with many choices and we had our bfast on our balcony.

The outdoor tub was clean and warm and the views just stunning.

We are definitely coming back !

What a gem!

Central Oia spot with amazing views. Fabulous suite with its own hot tub. Accommodation had excellent amenities and the wonderful lady who works there Sima, took care of our every need including car hire and catamaran trip. Nothing was too much trouble, she really makes the place. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Lots of choice. Supermarkets close by as well as some great restaurants. The Delfini was very clean and towels laundered daily. What a place. One of the best holidays I’ve had in the most stunning location. … the suite has lots of complimentary items, all the usuals plus extras, heck, our room even had its own laptop! 5 stars all the way.

The room, villa location and service was fantastic! The room was very clean and well equipped. The villa is located towards the end of the busy area, but close enough to easily walk to the shops and restaurants. The villa is also towards the top of the cliff side so there are not many steps to reach it and you have privacy on your balcony and hot tub (people can't see you from above). Sima was extremely helpful and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Breakfast on our balcony was great. We would definitely recommend this villa.

Room was small, outdoor jacuzzi and patio was small. Claimed it was King size bed but was a Queen low to ground not real comfortable…Bathroom was very small shower small with multiple shower heads but hard to get warm water..free breakfast was good but not brought before 8:45.. Hotel manager was very hard worker but seemed alone. Rooof deck patio was a great place to hang out with a great view

We were so impressed with our stay at Delfini Villas. The lady who runs the hotel is a fantastic host and took care of everything for us. The room was very nice and the view is outstanding. Nice towels and bathrobes. The patio is incredibly private because you do not have anyone looking onto your patio, like most other places in Santorini. Also nice that it's just a few steps down from street level. There is also a private rooftop patio for the hotel guests to use. Tons of shops, cafes and restaurants are at your fingertips and very close to the Oia taxi stand. Don't look anywhere else, you cannot find a better place to stay in Oia!

I rarely ever write reviews, but our stay at Delfini Villas absolutely warranted one. My husband and I stayed in the executive suite and our stay was nothing short of amazing. The room was incredibly spacious, comfortable and clean. The balcony, where we enjoyed a fresh cooked breakfast every morning, provided the most awe-inspiring views of the caldera. The location of the hotel was also ideal. It was literally in the middle of everything, with endless restaurants and shops just steps away. And even though the hotel was on the cliffside, which usually means climbing tons of stairs to access your hotel, this one just had a short flight so it was easy to get our luggage to the room.
But the best part of our stay was our hostess. She was incredibly friendly and attentive. She was very knowledgeable, giving great recommendations for local restaurants, must-see sights, tourist traps to avoid, transportation, etc. She was extremely helpful and accommodating during the entirety of our visit and went above and beyond every single day. She truly made our trip that much more enjoyable and special.

Best Villa on the island - Not overlooked

My wife and I stayed at Delfini in May and had the best service and stay here. We arrived late at night yet this was not a issue for the hotel they booked our taxi for us and then Cima (best host by far) was waiting outside for us to arrive helped with our baggage and showed us to our room which was the executive suite also by far the best room they had. The views were amazing from our balcony and our hot tub was brilliant and not overlooked like many other hotels on the island. Breakfast was the best freshly prepared and brought to our balcony every morning. The information and guidance from Cima of what we could do on the island was great which allowed us to do exactly what we went to Santorini for.

Overall good stay. Great spot. Incredible view. Loved having our own jucuzzi & the pool close by. There is no privacy as all guest walked straight past your room & spa to get to the pool which was a massive downside. Don’t expect a hotel experience, more like a bnb apartment with limited service. While the lady was lovely, she was very obviously overworked & over it.
Water bottles were never in the room. The reception was a long way from the room & there is no phone or etc in the room to contact staff. Breakfast was always served around an hour (sometimes more) after we requested. Every single afternoon the 2 staff members would sit in the staff room/kitchen where they prepared breakfast (next to the pool) & talked etc very loudly for at least an hour, often more while they had lunch - not very nice when you are trying to read a book or relax around the pool.
Unprofessional service where we felt like an inconvenience to staff just by being there. On our last afternoon they emptied & refilled the spa so it was cold for our last night, very frustrating as we booked this for the spa.
Overall we had a great time but for the money spent, the experience was disappointing.

Great hotel, glad we chose it. Very good for privacy (especially in the main building), which is hard to find in Oia and Thira. Sparkling clean room with amazing views and a jacuzzi. Had a very relaxing time here. Sima, our host, was very helpful and friendly. Would stay there again in the future.

Delfini Villas is situated in a very beautiful place of Oia.
It provides a wonderful view of Aegean sea.
Though rooms looked a bit smaller than what it showed in the images while booking,rooms were clean,Beautiful balcony providing wonderful view.
Bathroom was very nice except a small shower space.Would have been bigger and better for the price we are staying.
Very nice breakfast and could have been better if they would have given us some shelter as the scorching sun was hovering over us even at 10 o clock in the morning.For that we shifted our breakfast to be done in a living room.
Suggestions could have been much more better from receptionist about the places to roam around as everyone would be new there and expect them to tell us efficient ways of roaming around santorini.

Santorini is amazing and Delfini Villas are the ideal location to enjoy it. Our hostess Sima provided personal service way beyond expectation. The room was an adequate size and bathroom was a good size. The balcony overloooking the caldera provided our beautiful views and had a table and two chairs. There is s small plunge pool on the balcony more like a hot tub with jets. Your breakfast tray is served every morning on the balcony. This is ideally located on the main walkway. It is on the upper level, not too many stairs. . We were upgraded our last evening to a suite with a dining area and kitchenette and private pool as it was a special occasion for us. This villa is located a bit more removed from main walkway but still very convenient. Truly a boutique hotel with personal service by Sims. and affordable pricing.

location was fantastic, view from our balcony over the Caldera priceless. Selma was very kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. Daily breakfast served on our balcony was amazing. The suite was very comfortable, 20 meters from the main boulevard in Oía but away from all the noise and crowds. Room balcony with caldera view

Though the room is abit small but it has a nice view of sea. In windy night, it can be quite disturbing with howling wind sound, can hear inside room and balcony screen door kept producing knocking sound due to wind.
Beware of power failure happened in morning. Nice big TV provided but not working!

Breakfast provided was nice, to be taken in room.

We stayed at Delfini for our honeymoon and it exceeded our expectations. The staff was attentive, the room was clean and comfortable and the view was amazing! There was a welcome gift and breakfast is served in your room every morning. It was total relaxation. It's also close to shopping and dining. We would stay there again!

We stayed in the junior suite with the jetted tub at delfini villas. Wow what a view!! Absolutely breath taking! Staff was also kind and assisted in booking taxis and planning daily tasks. The hotel is walking distance from everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Some things that you may find uncomfortable: the bed is two doubles put together so it is uncomfortable if you fall in the groove. the bathrooms are veryyyyy dim--lighting is not sufficient only in the bathroom--and there is only a quarter of a shower door so water spills out very frequently.

Overall our stay was amazing!

We were supposed to have the junior suite for our first 2 nights but were upgraded to complex B. In complex B there is a pool and a lot more modern. So I would recommend staying there. On our final night they made us change back to complex A as we were staying in an executive suite. It was also very nice but a different style. Staff were lovely and very accomodating. Breakfast was delicious. Loved our stay there.

The family of delfini villas, which included rena, sema and iraklion were all fantastic. Rena was fantastic with her hospitality, the way a greek mother treats their guests. The stay was superb, location was fantastic, in the heart of the oia marble walkway. Definetely come back here again, and if you want to go to a place thats VALUE for money,delfini is the way to go.

I rated this hotel excellent not only because not only the hotel per se but also the personal service from the owner.
Let’s start with the hotel per se. It is in a very good location, it is beautifully decorated, it is well furnished, it is very clean and it is modern. We stayed in a room with balcony and hot tub. There was a music CD player, a laptop computer and real lilies. On the cute end table, there was a bottle of local wine and fruit, gifts from the owner. In the morning, we had our breakfast in the balcony-sipping the hot coffee, listening to the music, watching the beautiful sea right in front of us.
After you know the owner, you will not be surprised why the hotel is so well managed. Before we took off our flight, we received a warm welcome email from the owner who asked us whether we need a taxi service to pick up at the airport with a very reasonable fee. We were so glad that we had the service. Or, we would have no idea what we should do when we landed in the airport in the late evening. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by the owner; very nice lady who makes you feel right away that you have been treated as a special guest. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much and recommend it to everyone. The only one thing I would like to mention, though, is that the room we stay is quite small. It is perfect for a couple or you may want to stay in a larger room (I believe that there are larger rooms in the hotel).

First of all, thank you George, responsible person of the hotel, for sending email to prepare transportation one week before.

The location is good. One way to go to the sunset point. Also, the manager, Ms. Zemma, is helpful and relieve everything you worried.

Besides, we booked an executive room which contains a private outdoor warm spa pool. It is an extra great point that we enjoyed most.

great views, big room

We were immediately greeted by owner upon arrival and taken to our large (by Santorini standards) room, with full kitchenette and sitting area. Everything was very clean. Traditional decor. Our balcony had the most magnificent views of the caldera. Breakfast was delicious and served right on our balcony.

Only negatives were that we hadn't been aware that off season ( March 16-18th) the entire city of Oia is fairly shut down, only 3 or so restaurants were open, and all the water was drained from pools and hot tubs were not running. It was too cold to use the pools, but it made for a less than beautiful view of empty pools. Additionally, as it had just rained and our door expanded, we had a lot of difficulty getting in and out of our room. There was no telephone in our room, and we couldn't use our cell phones abroad, so the only way to easily reach staff was to walk the block or two to the reception area, in another building, during the day.

Honeymoon Styay

We arrived in the off season for a four day stay. We married on location in a small intimate ceremony that took advantage of the amazing views. Being the only visitors at the time, we were offered a complimentary upgrade with was beyond appreciated. The staff was more than accommodating and receptive to our say, offering what many hotels would not (from forgotten hair products to unanticipated foul weather gear). The included breakfast was fresh and set our day with full stomachs. The room was spacious and warm, wine and apples greeted us after a long flight into the region. Its location was postcard perfect, however finding it (off the main street) was initially difficult; there were no signs and a little foot navigation was required. Additional notation on the webpage is encouraged. Overall, it was an incredible and memorable stay filled with hospitality, cleanliness and a feeling of open invite.

HORRIBLE hotel riding on nature's coattails!

A sample of grievances: we had to wait 2 hours to check in b/c our room wasn't \"scheduled\" to be cleaned until later - no accommodating the waiting customers over the ones who had't arrived yet. The room was advertised as a junior suite w/ jetted tubs - while certainly \"junior\", it was not a suite - just a room. The sofa bed listed in the description was not in there and the floor space was so cramped I couldn't open my suitcase all the way. The bathroom was so small the door would only open 90 degrees so my 6 ft / 147 lb husband cut his back on the knob trying to maneuver past the door - overweight people simply won't fit. The rooftop terrance couch looked salvaged from a dump. Construction started at 7:30 am so not sleeping in. Electricity was out for part of the stay. While no view on Santorini is bad, the balcony didn't face the sunset. The TV was no bigger than a computer monitor w/out any English stations...not even lone BBC News. The hot tub water was warm, not hot. The jetted tub was broken. I was scolded for not advising of this before staff went home for dinner (as if I should've checked all the plumbing upon arrival) I was screamed at in Greek when I calmly pointed out that we didn't get what we paid for. We were given a PARTIAL refund but not enough to cover the difference in rates between room category rates but the verbal assault that came along with the refund was hardly worth it.

Not meeting my expectation

The lady at reception is nice and friendly, but not the lady who taking care of the rooms, she is impolite and unfriendly. The furnitures in the so-called cave house is old and the toilet is with poor design. It is totally not meeting my expectation by referring to the pictures on Expedia.

Breathtaking views

My husband and another couple stayed here for 3 nights and I wish we had stayed longer. The cave house was much bigger than anticipated and the views were breathtaking. The rooms are located quite a distance from the main office which is a little strange, however; the service here was amazing and more than made up for the walk. We were escorted to our rooms and were met there with our luggage and a cell phone to use during our stay in case we had questions while elsewhere on the island. There was complementary wine and fruit waiting for us on arrival, breakfast served on our patio each morning, and the recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and activities were all solid. My only complaint would be the comfort level of the bed, however; this seemed to be a trend all over Greece. I would go back here in an instant.

right in the heart of oia

Had an amazing stay at a studio room with a balcony. Amazing views of the mediterranean, right in the heart of oia, awesome room service! Only wish I had stayed longer!

Amazing location and views

Beautiful hotel, lovely views and facilities. Really enjoyed my stay here. Only negative thing I have to say is the man working on the front desk is quite slimey and couldn't get our names correct when he booked us onto a trip! Seema however is wonderful and extremely helpful!

What a view sunrise/set over the caldera

We stayed for two nights and were given a free upgrade for the spa suite. The staff were very helpful and friendly helping us with buses taxis and local restaurants and sights. The cave rooms were amazing, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

The agean sea right at your doorstep

cema from delfini was warm,attentive and extremely helpful,upgrading us to a cavehouse.she even woke up at 530am to personally help with our luggage as the other helpers hadnt started work yet.
the sea view was phenomenal,the location was great,altho steps leading.to the rooms can be a challenge and definitely not for older folks or those having difficulties with movement.the only pity view wise is that the caldera view isnt as good but overall,its a value for money stay
