The Museum Project is a beautiful, modern boutique hotel perfectly situated right in the middle of Oia. We had an absolutely flawless stay, all thanks to the incredible warmth and efficiency of the manager, Theodora. She went above and beyond to arrange seamless transfers, a fantastic sunset dinner reservation, and wonderful local activities. She truly made our trip a fabulous and unforgettable experience. Thank you so much, Theodora!

We had a wonderful stay at The Museum Project. From check-in through departure the team delivered warm, personal service that made our visit feel special. Our room was perfectly prepared each day — spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged — and the little details made a big difference. Housekeeping staff Giota and Arif were exceptional: attentive, friendly, and precise in their care of the rooms. Theodora, the manager, was welcoming and went out of her way to make sure everything ran smoothly. Breakfast cooked by Vana was a highlight I’m already craving — croissants and other pastries were baked fresh every morning and incredibly delicious. On our final morning we had to leave very early to catch a connection; the team kindly pre-packed breakfast for us to take with us, which was a lovely, considerate touch. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with outstanding staff and fantastic breakfast. We’ll gladly return.

A beautiful hotel with exceptional cleanliness, a lovely pool area, a delicious and healthy breakfast, and most importantly, its wonderfully engaging staff.
I was picked up at the bus station by Aries, who kindly carried my suitcase. My suite was spotlessly clean and well-furnished with plenty of fresh towels. The terrace offered gorge sunset views. Hassan was especially kind, attentive, and genuinely caring.
Unfortunately, I had a fall on the terrace steps. The staff immediately took me to see a doctor. Hassan arranged the taxi and sent Aries to the pharmacy. Hassan and the tall handsome gentleman who worked at the bar (whose name I'm sorry to have forgotten) kindly walked me to the doctor's office and to the taxi station, supporting me along the way. Hassan even brought my breakfast to my room the night before my early flight to Athens.
The only big disappointment was that my credit card was charged four days before my arrival, even though I had selected the “pay on arrival\" option because I planned to pay in cash. This early charge cost me more due to the rate difference of the “early pay nonrefundable” and “pay on arrival” plus a foreign transaction fee on my credit card. It was disappointing that the hotel did not honor the original payment method.

While there isn't direct vehicle access to the hotel, hotel staff, Alex and his assistant, met us at the drop off area and quickly gather all the bags and lead us to the hotel. They took our bags to our rooms while we checked in with Evaggelia. We settled in and watched the people window shopping. The staff along with Georgia were attentive and always helpful. This hotel in Oia is a great place to stay. It’s very convenient from the main roads. When searching for a hotel I read many reviews and many advised not staying in Oia due to the noise, but this location was completely quiet. The reception was great at assisting with taxi transfers for us. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Oia.

Excellent location with most of the sights in Oía within walking distance, staff was very friendly and helpful. We had some flight delays getting there which cut short our stay but Evangelia helped us book a day trip and we were still able to cover most of the important stuff. I really liked the location of this hotel, you are only a few steps from the shops and the scenic domes, what makes this location special is the pool area is very quit and tranquil. Breakfast was so delicious and filling with plenty variety. The staff was so friendly polite and helpful. Georgia has been the best host we have had in the three hotels we have stayed at she helped us with our tours and gave us the best recommendations. We will come back again!

Conveniently and centrally located, with easy access to everything—from the Oia bus stop and sightseeing spots like the caldera and blue domes to other picturesque locations, shops, and restaurants. There are plenty of nearby options for both food and shopping. The rooms are clean and offer ample space for a family of four. Swimming pool is clean but a bit cold for early april but this didn't stop kids from jumping in. Best part - most of it is a flat walk to accommodation from the Oia post office so no worry about needing to take steps esp with bags. We landed close to mid night and had no issue getting to this place and felt safe. Bathrooms have limited ventilation so don't know if there's much to do about this.

Georgia was prompt in her responses and provided clear instructions on how to reach the accommodation from our drop-off point at the post office. She also recommended great places to eat and visit, including vineyards.

I miss Mary already. She was so kind and sweet and prepared breakfast for us on the last day. All the staff here were so kind and sweet. The breakfast at this hotel is amazing. The swimming pool was a bonus and it was relaxing to go in the pool after being in the sun outside for so long. The property itself is in a very very good location since it's in the middle and you can either walk left or right and see all the stores etc... so it was the perfect location to be at while staying at Oia, Santorini. The hotel room was extremely clean and they made sure to bring fresh towels after every swim/ daily. The only thing that I would improve is the second level (taking the narrow stairs up) to go to the bedroom area with the queen bed... the floors seemed very scary to walk on / sleep upstairs since the wood was not sturdy.

Could not have been happier

Me and the wife booked a last minute trip to Santorini and we couldn’t have been happier with our hotel choice- museum project Oia.

Very rarely do you see images online and get what you hoped for on arrival, let alone better!! The room was amazing, the hotel views, decor and facilities were spot on 😃

The two guys that run the hotel could not have done anymore to make sure we had a great experience. They booked our taxis for us, which ended up being posh ones that felt were super competitive prices. They recommended and booked some amazing restaurants for us. They literally could not do enough for us. We would highly recommend Basalt on the front!!

The pool area is small but stunning! We were worried it would be over crowded but 3 days straight it was quiet and we got a sharing double sunbed over the pool, plus we lounged on communal egg chairs and rattan furniture. The pool bar was amazing and reasonable prices.

Would 100% recommend this hotel for a couple looking for a romantic get away with, amazing facilities and prime location.

Friendly staffs & prime location

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, which is conveniently located in the heart of Oia village.

This allowed me to fully appreciate the village during the morning, afternoon, and evening. The early morning was a particularly enjoyable time to explore, as the village was quiet and peaceful.

Although the daytime was quite hot, the hotel's outdoor swimming pool provided a refreshing escape from the heat.

The hotel's proximity to the city bus terminal was also a major plus, as it made it easy for us to travel to other towns and the airport.

The staff were all very friendly, and I would like to especially thank Mr. Kostas for his exceptional kindness and attentiveness during my stay. If you are planning a trip to Oia, I would highly recommend this hotel.

I don’t normally do reviews, but for this property I felt compelled to do so. This place was amazing. They coordinated with us beforehand for our arrival details. We were picked up from the airport in a very comfortable van (just us), and our luggage was taken directly from the van to our room (would have been difficult on our own - we are older). The same was done on our departure. This hotel is located on the main walking path through Oia. Many options for dining and lots of sightseeing. Consider having a meal at the Blue Dome Cafe, which is across the walking path from the hotel, and you’ll have great views of the caldera and blue domes. We stayed on the top floor with ocean view and saw a fantastic sunset from our private sitting area. The pool / bar was very quiet and relaxing. It felt like our own private villa. Again, this place was amazing!

Great place to stay

This is a lovely hotel in a perfect location to experience Oia. It manages to be both in the hustle and bustle and yet very tranquil. I was in room 201 (deluxe double) at the front of the property and it was very quiet once you closed the windows and shutters. The room was decorated in a boutique style, and had a comfortable bed and pillows.

The pool is behind the hotel and this is also where breakfast is served. The pool is open from 11am (basically after breakfast). The only downsides were the lack of shade available on the sun loungers, and that the ones under the trees (which didn’t offer shade) were a bit grubby due to being under trees with birds in. The pool was unheated, so bracing! Breakfast was good (order by 5pm the day before). It’s a nice area.

Christos was really helpful, communicative and organised transfers and trips for me. Thank you for a great stay!

The hotel is in the centre of Oia and walking distance to all attractions. 2 lovely restaurants just in front of the hotel.
The blue dome is just a little walk away.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to stay in Oia.

In booking the reservation, I had great communication all along. And when we get to the hotel, it is just a darling place and very spacious and very clean and the host and all the employees were just wonderful and anything that we needed as well as making us reservations and giving us a recommendation of where to go. It could not Have been better!!! We loved it!!

Excellent hotel in convenient location on Main Street in Oia. Difficult to find the entrance given the business of the street but very peaceful once inside. Loved the cave room!
