First, I was sent to another property by Katsikis, but the place they sent me was great. The actual place was Katsikis Santorini. The property is beautiful in a very convenient place. Literally, it's the first hotel before you will need to lug your luggage to get to other hotels. Service was top notch! they were very friendly, professional and very helpful. Lovely with some caveats
This hotel is, on the whole, wonderful. The facilities are beautiful and well-kept, the food at the restaurants is divine, and the service is top-knotch. However, we had a few complaints about our room. First, the hot tub on our deck was not warm enough to use at night, which was a primary reason we chose this room. At $1,000 a night, it most certainly should be. Additionally, there is absolutely no privacy on the balcony. There is practically no wall separating the balcony from the rest of the hotel. So sitting on our balcony, anyone walking down the steps or in adjacent areas can see and hear everything. Finally, the hotel charges 8 euros for still water, even though you cannot drink the tap, which, again, at $1,000 per night, should not be the case.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, in THE nicest place I've ever been to, Santorini. The staff are incredibly attentive and polite and it's clear they are highly trained - they cannot do enough for you. We love this hotel. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and everything we experienced exceeded my expectation. The hotel is beautiful with an excellent location in Oia and a gorgeous caldera view. Our room is the exact type of cave house design I am looking for with a private warm jacuzzi pool in the huge covered terrace. Everything is chic and stylish. The breakfast on the terrace with beautiful view is unforgettable. Staff are attentive and caring. I was sick on arrival and they immediately sent a doctor for me upon request. Everyone is so friendly and professional. We ate at their sister property Katikies and food was wonderful. The weather is still cold so we didn’t go into the infinity pools. Overall, highly recommend this hotel and our memories there will last a lifetime.

The staff was just outstanding. So friendly. Such attention to detail. So accommodating. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The pool is gorgeous. My recommendation: stay at the Villas: less expensive, beautiful private jacuzzis for the evening. Go to the main hotel just a 3 minute block away for breakfast then stay at the infinity pool there.

Outstanding hotel. Panos and Stella were amazing and truly made our stay. Perfect location, great private pool at the villas but also great larger pool at their sister property (Katikies Hotel) which is just a quick walk. Complimentary breakfast each morning on our terrace was a great touch. Some mentioned the private jacuzzis wasn’t warm enough.. I agree it wasn’t hot but I wouldn’t want it any warmer or you wouldn’t want to use it as a dipping pool during the day which we used often. Overall, highly recommend this hotel and room 7, if possible!

Serene with spectacular views & fabulous staff
We stayed at the Villas at Katikies, which is about 150 meters from the main hotel. Guests have access to both. The rooms are serene and have spectacular caldera views. Thoughtful room amenities - a Bose sound deck with a nano stocked with relaxing music, Bulgari toiletries, two comfortable chairs, robes, safe, plenty of towels. Breakfast was included, with an a la carte selection delivered to your room, your patio, near the pool or in one of the common areas each morning. The staff is exceptional. Everyone was incredible helpful and nice. Good food and highly recommend the cosmopolitan at the main hotel bar.

Only stayed for a short while, but wish we stayed much longer. Beautiful place, very calm and mellow. You can go to the restaurants at the sister hotel, but there are plenty around you. The people who worked there were wonderful, helpful, and friendly. Amazing location, very romantic, clean, and comfortable.

Beautiful property, outstanding service, and extremely convenient, walkable location. Be sure to contact the hotel to confirm the precise room that you have been assigned to: rooms within the same class (at least per Hotels.com) vary significantly in terms of size and quality. We were initially assigned to a room that looked nothing like the pictures associated with the Suite with Outside Hot Tub on either Hotels.com or the property's website. Luckily, one of the other rooms opened up on our second day and we were moved to a room that was a substantial upgrade in terms of size, quality of outdoor space, and location. That aside, the stay was wonderful and the views are out of this world.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this collection of villa rooms. The service is exemplary and the rooms are lovely, very comfortable & clean. Be prepared to climb steps! Keeps you in good shape to eat the wonderful food! Don't be afraid of having to carry bags up & down the steps. The staff takes good care of that for you!

My husband and me stayed in villa katikies for 3 nights . Words cannot even describe how amazing and how beautiful this place was .you have the most beautiful views from your room and in your balcony breakfast is served daily . You just let them know the night before what time you would like breakfast served and they bring it to you in your own private balcony Good breakfast with lots of options . Other than this villa katikies being a beautiful , quite , clean , charming , fantastic location , the manager name margarita was the most kindness and attentive and friendly manager . Also the other person name kostas which I hope I spelled it correctly is also very attentive and so welcoming . I would 100 percent give this place a 5 star . Is amazing villa

We didn't get the exact room as expected (as it really depends on luck what to get on the arrival) but our room was fine. Services are good. Staff are friendly and very useful. The view is just execeptional. The villa is small so it's very private. We will come back in the future.

My boyfriend and I found a last minute deal on Orbitz. We were actually staying at another hotel on Santorini and were unpleasantly surprised so we decided to upgrade. Margarita at the front desk was beyond helpful and lovely. She gave us wonderful recommendations for not only Santorini, but also for Mykonos where we were going next. I couldn't recommend this hotel more. The breakfast that is included is also amazing. I would go back in a heartbeat!

first I would like to say that unfortunately I didn't stay in Villa Katikies. One day prior to arrive I was informed by the hotel that unfortunately they didn't finish some works in the facilities and for that reason they decided to book me in other hotel from the same branch called Kirini with any extra cost and with free transport from the airport in my arrival and departure. At the beginning I was really upset because of this since I saw that this new hotel was a little bit far from the midtown of Oia but then I realized that in fact the new hotel was so much better. Service superb, concierge always ready to help. Im extremely satisfy with this hotel no matter if I didn't finally stay there. They guaranteed the best experience ever in a hotel for me. Thanks for that

This small hotel has 7 villas. It is located is the most beautiful village in Santorini-Oie. The location ips perfect. It is located on the marble walk-way to the shops and restaurants. The hotel is only 20 steps down from the walkway and there you find yourself in a private, spectacular space with the most amazing view of the caldera. The staff is exceptional and can't do enough for you. The pool is small but the view from it can't be beat. Breakfast is served daily, beautifully set up on your private outdoor patio overlooking the caldera. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Three Great Sister Properties.
We originally booked a room at Katikies Villa, and it was cozy and charming. Then the manager Ileana offered us for a fee of 40 euros the opportunity to try a second property, Katikies just a few meters distance away. We opted to try. It was another amazing property. Three infinity pools with views of the caldera. Two very good restaurants. Great service by all from the Manager, Alejandro to Margarita the lovely concierge to Martin the food and beverage manager and down the line.
It was the quintisencial Oia Santorini experience. The third property is located just minutes away and has a wonderful spa. I was definitely pampered and would return there in a heartbeat.

A very nice hotel in Oia. The room was carved in the rock, very clean and tidy. Fabulous breakfast with an incredible scenary at the top of the cliff facing the sea. Very high level of service. Near the center of Oia, close to all restaurants and the path to the beaches. Very quiet.

Stayed here for 3 nights as a couple in our thirties. We believe we received excellent value and service during our stay (6th hotel stay in Greece). The staff took care of reservations for onward hotel bookings, dinner plans, and transfers. The included breakfast consisted of ordering from a full menu the night before and was set up on our balcony at whatever time we asked- the food was excellent. The view from our balcony was spectacular. The pool here is small, but there are only 7 rooms at the hotel- non issue. Guests are also permitted to use very close swimming pools at affiliated hotels nearby. We were welcomed with fresh lemon-aid and a bottle of complimentary wine was placed in our room on arrival. The manager brought out two complimentary drinks one afternoon while we were having a sandwich on the balcony. The privacy of our balcony is worth mentioning- you can sit out there in a provided house-robe whenever and the view is mostly blocked from the busy Oia runway above you. The bathroom products were good and they provided q-tips. make-up pads, etc. No towel games around the pool. They set out fluffy beach towels and the pool has a service button if you need something. The prices for the hotel food were very reasonable in comparison to other hotels. The wifi signal was average, but better than most I have experienced in Greece. Power adapter provided. A Bose speaker was set up (ipod nano attached) playing a collection of acoustic versions of pop songs! Loved it!

Great hotel, beautiful rooms, lovely view and outlook, fantastic location, top service. Highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Oia is generally not suitable for people with mobility issues as there are lots of steps at most of the hotels.

We have stayed in many hotels over the years styled as both four and five star. Most have proved very pleasant but without particular memories or personal attention from staff. Katikies provides a truly stunning location overlooking the caldera and levels of individual service not experienced elsewhere. From reception to pool and cleaning staff there was a truly professional and informed welcome. The rooms are well finished and many have private terraces including jacuzzis. As pointed out in previous reviews the steps, particularly to the lower pool and rooms could be a challenge to the less able bodied, but overall this is a really special hotel fully meriting its reputation. Over the next day or two the hotel is closing for full refurbishment and alteration ready for 2014. It will be interesting to see how the owner plans to improve on what is already near perfection.

Beautiful villa located right at the beginning of the pedistrian road in Oia - great spot. Villa manager Lia was so sweet and helpful with everything we needed. Delicious breakfasts on your balcony overlooking the water. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this spot is great - if you are looking for a little more of a luxury hotel type feel go to the Katikies hotel or one of the larger island properties (although you are free to use the Katikies property). One complaint is the pool here is a little dirty and the chairs/beds there do not compare to the comfort and luxury of the ones at the hotel!
