Where do I begin with review this once in a lifetime hotel opportunity to stay in a cave in the rocks of Oia? If you get the opportunity, this is where you want to stay. The driver, staff and amenities are fabulous. Thank you for providing such a unique stay and for giving us the most comfortable beds we’ve had our whole trip!

An incredible stay at a beautiful family-run hotel

There are hotels which are SO incredible that you almost don't want to review them because you'd like to come back again and again without having to compete with other visitors for rooms... but Olympic Villas deserves all the attention and more!

My partner and I stayed in a traditional cave room for a week. We received a beautiful large room complete with our own kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms (though we only needed one). The interior was really very much like a cave, which was both beautiful and practical. It would stay cool during the days and warm at night. I also slept better than ever because it was so dark and quiet!

On top of the comfort of our room, we also got our own patio with beautiful views of the caldera. Unlike the heart of Oia, our area was quiet and peaceful at night. We also got access to a stunning infinity pool (which was fantastic on hot days) and to a wonderful resource in Christina, who answered all our questions, recommended restaurants for us, helped us with car rentals and parking, and generally just made us feel so welcomed in Santorini.

On top of this, housekeeping was phenomenal and went above and beyond anything we had ever expected. Some days we'd run out before we had time to do our dishes and even these would be washed for us which is definitely n

The property is well located and walkable to the main spots in Oia. It is across the street from the bus stop and car/moto rental. There was a small kitchenette in the room to accommodate light cooking and refrigeration. The owner is very hospitable.

This was my second time staying at Olympic Villas! My first visit was in Sept 1996, and my recent visit was Sept 2019. Nothing has changed, which in this case is a good thing. Olympic Villas has in a fantastic location in that it is on the caldera but a short 5-10 minute walk from the crowded part of town. We spent most of our time in the pool area which was mellow, refreshing with fantastic views. IMO this is by far the best value for the money.

The view is spectacular. The people who work there were great and helpful. The location is excellent and the political l areas very nice and relaxing.

We loved our stay at Olympic Villas!! It blew away our expectations! The property was clean, in a good area, and had all the amenities you might need. The best part was the VIEW! Our balcony overlooked the caldera and we had an amazing view of the white houses on the cliff. It doesn't get better than this. I almost want to keep this place a secret! Do not hesitate to book here, and especially for the price, it can't be beat.

The location is good. Rooms do not have irons and they ask you to come to reception if you need to iron. The bathroom was clogged and extremely small. The view from room was good.

Property is family owned and it shows in the care they provided. Excellent location and very friendly and accommodating staff. Clean as a whistle. This place is all anyone could ask for. Appreciated the small kitchen so I could make coffee. Local bus is steps from the door. Best views of Oia from the caldera side swimming pool.

We loved the caldera views, and location of Olympic Villas in Oia. The bus stops right in front, so is easily accessed from the Airport or Fira, which we found convenient. The walking path on the caldera side takes you in to Oia in a few minutes where all the shops and restaurants are located. A perfect location. Rooms have a small kitchenette for those who like to do their own cooking. Accomodation is simple but comfortable. Bathrooms are not great, but adequate. The property has two pools which are lovely. The management staff are a little reserved, but the cleaning staff are very friendly. The property is well maintained and clean. I would highly recommend Olympic Villas for a memorable stay in Santorini.

Fantastic views of the Caldera and sunsets in Oia

This hotel is great value given the fantastic location. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in August for four nights here. They have fantastic views of the Caldera and sunsets in Oia with two infinity edge pools. The rooms were clean and reasonably well equipped. We enjoyed drinks and apps around the pool before dinner or watching the sunset from the table and chairs just beyond the pool near the walkway to Oia.

Some of the previous criticisms have been addressed. Wireless Internet is included in the price and there is dishwashing liquid now!

What an amazing location overlooking the Caldera. Fantastic to stay in one of the old cavern houses amongst the traditional buildings. Close to all the shops, bars and restaurants. Handy kitchenette to make your early morning cuppa and fridge for storing the cold beers etc for sitting on the balcony. So quiet and relaxing. Really good value for money. WIFI is available at an extra charge. Oia is wonderful. Definately recommend this hotel.

Santorini Dream Vacation!

Amazing time! We arrived at 9am from the ferry and were checked in right away and taken to our room. The place was very clean, and situated right by the pool! We wish the pool was open, there was no mention that the pool was closed :( But over all a very nice stay, right outside of Oia - for the price you cannot beat it!

Superbe logement avec une vue exceptionnelle. Très propre, kitchenette pratique avec frigo, supermarché à proximité. Nous avons apprécié le fait de pouvoir arriver tard (après 23h) tout était bien organisé avec le transfert de 45 euros depuis l’aéroport.
Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement. Seul bémol, pour pouvoir rester à la piscine après le check out en attendant le vol retour on nous a demandé 10 euros/ personne.

Une vue inoubliable...

Nous avions choisi un studio avec vue sur la Caldera, un peu plus cher, mais nous ne l'avons pas regretté car la vue est exceptionnelle. Le studio lui même est joli, doté d'une bonne literie, de fenêtres avec volets intérieurs. Il manque d'étagère pour ranger les vêtements, mais il est propre et spacieux. La situation est excellente, suffisamment éloignée d'Oia pour être au calme, suffisamment proche pour s'y rendre à pied par le joli chemin pédestre. Et l'accueil est familial et chaleureux.

Séjour dans un site de rêve

Emplacement assez extraordinaire avec une vue sur la caldeira à couper le souffle avec vue mais équipement minimaliste de la chambre, voire spartiate (ustensiles de cuisine absents ou inadaptés) et un lit engoncé entre deux poteaux que l'on atteignait par reptation. Excellent accueil malgré le barrage de la langue et très grande propreté. La vue a gommé toutes les imperfections.

Très bien mais dubitatif avec des enfants

Très bel hôtel, proche de tout (centre Oia, arrêt de bus, supermarché,…) et vues magnifiques (côté mer ou côté caldeira). Tout aurait été parfait si ce n’est le sentiment que notre fils de 4 ans n’était pas le bienvenu, la propriétaire lui demandant à plusieurs reprises de parler doucement autour de la piscine à 10h30 et 11h le matin. Notre fils étant calme, il n’a pas compris pourquoi il ne pouvait pas exprimer son bonheur d’être là en famille. Si les enfants sont juste tolérés, les propriétaires devraient préciser : adult only

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super!

Top Lage befindet sich Supermarkt gegenüber. Maximal 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Zentrum. Vom Pool aus ein herrlicher Blick Richtung Vulkan.

Es könnten etwas mehr Sonnenschirme vorhanden sein.

Die Betreiber sind sicher hilfsbereit, wirken auf den ersten Blick jedoch nicht unbedingt freundlich.

très bel emplacement, vue magnifique

Après une arrivée en masse sur le port, le transfert à Fira en bus puis Fira Oia avec quelques difficultés pour comprendre quel bus prendre et à quel arrêt stopper, nous avons heureusement eu beaucoup de ravissement à la vue depuis l'hôtel sur la Caldeira
L'arrêt du bus à proximité immédiate, plusieurs petites épiceries proches, le loueur de voiture en face : rien à dire.
Notre appartement avait une vue qui donnait sur l'autre rive de l'île très agréable aussi.
Effectivement l'accueil, comme déjà signalé, plutôt froid (mais en général sur Santorin il a été plutôt limite, notamment dans les bus) .

L'essentiel étant la vue.

Good value let down but unfriendly reception staff

Good value given the high prices of accommodation in Oia. Staff in reception not very welcoming and fairly rude. Room was nice but the bathroom is pathetic. View from pool area is good. If you really want to sleep in Oia, this is good value for money but the overall experience was not as good as the pictures want you to believe.

Das Zimmer war zweckmässig eingeZur gleichen Zeit, waren nur noch zwei deutsche Pärchen zu Gast, die aber auch auf derselben Hotelseite untergebracht waren.Zur gleichen Zeit, waren nur noch zwei deutsche Pärchen zu Gast, die aber auch auf derselben Hotelseite untergebracht waren.chtet und sauber. Die Hälfte der Lampen und Steckdosen funktionierte. Das Reinigungspersonal ist freundlich und frühzeitig, wartet aber auch bereitwillìg, direkt vor der Tür.
Das Hotel liegt an der Hauptstrasse nach Oia. Vom Balkon Blick auf eine Baustelle, Autovermietung, die Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel und drei Mülltonnen. Die Schallschutztüren sind gut und notwendig.
Das Hotel verfügt über zwei Pools, einen zur Strasse, einen zur Caldera. Letzterer wird auch gern von den Kindern der Hotelbetreiber genutzt.
Zu den Hotelbetreibern konnten wir keinen Kontakt herstellen, allein die Antwort auf ein freundliches Guten Morgen - \"Kaĺimerá\" - schien ein Problem zu sein.
Zur selben Zeit waren noch zwei weitere deutsche Pärchen Gast, die ebenfalls zur Strassenseite ihre Unterbringung fanden.
