Fantastic location! No need to battle crowds in Oia to see the sunset. We could see it from our hot tub. Breakfast served on private terrace each morning was deluxe. Staff were very helpful in arranging a rental car for us. My only complaint was there did not seem to be any way to recycle but this was a problem at every hotel we stayed at in Greece.

Rimida is a quaint and quiet accomodation close to Oia attractions. We had a short but lovely stay. The appointed amenities in

Amazing location with great people !

We love The hotel location and their team. Although is not a 24 hrs reception but always there to answer our question or needs. You can’t beat the location and the views. You in the best area of Oia yet far away from crazy tourist traffics . Walk to the bus stop or shops and restaurants. We definitely would recommend this place to anyone !

Located perfectly 3 minutes from the center on town. The host, Dimitri, provided all in the information necessary and made arrangements for us as needed. The house was clean and well equipped. The villas are near mini markets and bus stops. Excellent experience for us.

My fiancé and I loved Rimida Villas! It was very clean, the view was amazing and the hot tub was great! The staff is very kind and courteous. They have great customer service. When we arrived and left the villa a gentleman assisted us with our luggage to and from the room. (You have to walk up and down stairs, so that was very much appreciated.) wish we knew his name! But we provided him a tip for his help. Another gentleman, Dimitri was also very kind to us. Very attentive and informational. Amazing service! Very hardworking! Everyone who works there is very nice. Breakfast is provided at your terrace every morning at your request. There are several restaurants near by and a small market less than a 5 min walk. Great location, quiet at night and throughout the day. Beautiful place, we highly recommend it!

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Rimida Villas and certainly wish we can go back! Dimitry the property manager is an exceptional person, very helpful, friendly and always goes over and above our needs, we felt welcome, and his recommendations for tours and local places to visit made our short stay completed and fabulous. Starting the day with fresh breakfast at the terrace with the best view was one of those moments that we treasure the most!

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Rimida Villas! First, the room itself was incredible and the view was perfect. You get a view of the coast with one of Santorini's famous blue domed churches in the background -- perfect for sunset photos! Dimitri and the hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. Dimitri helped us arrange airport transfers and Covid testing in Oia (which we needed to fly back to the US). The breakfast was a lovely start to the day and the mini pool was really enjoyable during our downtime. Plus, we were only a 15 minute walk to the main square in Oia!

I very much enjoyed my stay! Dimitri and the staff were all very helpful and nice. Loved breakfast on our private patio every day. Delivered with a smile and always yummy and fresh! Drawback…Having to keep requesting new towels and tP was frustrating I think it’s due to COVID a wanting less interaction but the towels take forever to dry and it’s icky using a damp one the next day . Location was perfect. 10 minute walk to Ammoudi. Nearby market and food. Very homey traditional feel. The only thing that would’ve made this stay any better would be having a pool on site for the dips in between all the fun and action in the burning Med Sun but The private jacuzzi was awesome and better than nothing. It definitely helped as it’s not “hot” but warm. With a little updating of the room decor this place is a gem! Thank you for everything Rimida

My husband and I loved the amazing views from our balcony, the spacious traditional cave room, and the excellent customer service. Dimitri helped with every step of our trip including booking a spectacular sunset cruise, transfers, and ATV rental. We enjoyed the bed & breakfast feel and sitting on our balcony every morning taking in the views. The location was perfect (only a 10 minute walk to great shops and restaurants) but away from the hustle and bustle of many Oia properties. Definitely recommend!

The room and view were amazing. It is close to everything in Oia. You can walk to all the sights. It is set just out of the main tourist area so there is privacy and very quiet in the evenings. Breakfast is served on your private terrace. This is the ultimate hotel for a relaxing and romantic getaway.

Our stay was incredible! A truly beautiful room with a spectacular view of caldera as welll as the Oia sunset. Breakfast was enjoyed daily on the balcony, and when we had a trip breakfast was served slightly earlier than usual to ensure we didn’t miss the transfer! Staff couldn’t be more helpful with questions and helped organise a wonderful day trip. Facilities were wonderful and clean! And the villas are just a short walk from restaurants and the centre of Oia (10 minutes max).
We couldn’t recommend Rimida villas more! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Rimida Villas is amazing! The staff couldn’t be more helpful. The view is incredible and the room is lovely. It’s an easy walk to the shops in Oia but all I wanted to do was sit on my balcony and enjoy the view. The spa is also great. You will love this hotel!

The property is located at the eastern edge of Oia. This is perfect for creating a sense of privacy, even when the cruise ship crowds are heaviest. Walking into the more dense part of the town only takes five minutes at a leisurely stroll.
The view from the house is superb! The entire caldera is laid out in front of you, and the sun sets behind the silhouettes of the town and old castle with no obstruction or crowds. Breakfast was simple, but reliably delicious, and a convenient way to start the day with no agenda or restaurant to get to.
If you're looking for a great base for adventures in Oia on foot the Rimida is a great choice. Loved every minute of our time there!

Perfect location on the Caldera. We watched the sunset every night from our balcony. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Every recommendation we asked for was perfect. The traditional cave rooms were really cool to stay in (wouldn't have it any other way. It was a great experience overall. One issue: The bed was uncomfortable. A comfortable bed is highly sought after when traveling.

We were on our honeymoon and had the best experience here! Dmitri was very kind and friendly! We stayed for 5 nights, and it was our little home. The cave house was spacious and the cave jetted tub was amazing! The views were spectacular, just what we wanted!

The staff were great in taking care of your needs (arranging for taxis,etc). Demetri always available around the property so you have a point person al the time. Special thanks to him for he prepared our last day breakfast earlier before 8:30 because we had to leave for airport at 8:30.
I strongly recommend this property to anyone who want a great view and cozy place.

He brought us breakfast right infront our villa so we could enjoy those amazing views...I just cannot say enough nice words about Rimida villas, we had wonderful stay and I hope one day we will be back! (Just one thing-please give guests option to re-use towels, I hate to waste towel just for one day- terrible for environment. I left note to house keeper but they gave us new ones anyway...)...I recommend this accommodation to everyone! Thank you again!

The most perfect location, the most sublime view, amazing room, delicious breakfast, the most helpful staff I've ever encountered. From meeting me as I got out of the taxi in order to carry my bag down the steps, helping me get oriented with Oia, to arranging for my early morning transport to tbe airport and carrying my bag back out. I had to constantly pinch myself. This is the best value on Oia as far as I'm concerned. Watching the famous sunset from my caldera view balcony was so much better than fighting through the crowds. I will definitely be back, but for now I give my hightest recommendation.

What you think Greece should be

Staying at Rimidas was a joy. It was what I imagined Greece would be - the beautiful white villas on top of one another overlooking the water with amazing views and a remarkable sunset.

Staying in a traditional cave like dwelling was such a cool experience and was more modern than you would expect. Bathroom was huge, great water pressure and room/apt was kept very clean.

We found a few bugs throughout our stay but not due to anything but the extreme heat of Greece and life.

The views were amazing from all sides, the walk into the center of Oia was only about 10 mins and everyone was so nice and helpful.

It was truly a great experience.

Beautiful Cave Room in Great location

I just got back from my vacation in Greece and I'm already planning my next one back. If your looking for a cave hotel with great caldera views and walking distance to everything this is it. The staff is wonderful and welcoming. The views are breathtaking and the breakfast is simple but fresh And delicious everyday. The pool is spacious and clean with a kitchenette and bathrooms for convenience. The staff is super helpful with making recommendations, booking taxis, ATVs and excursions. There is a bus stop right up the path and you can walk to amoundi bay and the heart of Oia for sunsets. Amazing is the best word.

A perfect, peaceful Grecian retreat.

These villas are perfect for the low-key couple or single traveler who does not mind walking 5 minutes to downtown, wants a quiet oasis from the common Santorini crowd, wants personal treatment from the staff, and a 24/7 lovely view of the Caldera.

Fantastic location, with sunset views in Oia

Dimitri did a wonderful job ensuring his guests are well looked after during their stay. Breakfast was simple but more than enough. Location is perfect and on the quite side of Oia, however an was walk to everything.

The only disappointment in our stay was the bedding. For the price we were paying we found the bed quite old and uncomfortable. Linen and pillows could also do with replacement.

We loved this place Domitris was great! Honestly absolutely adored this place! Only one negative people that were not staying at the hotel would wander onto the roof of our room to take photos and some would hang around for half an hour watching over us trying to relax! If they wanted our beautiful view of the sunset and the ocean, they should have paid for it, maybe there could be sinage to avoid this problem!

This is the perfect place in Oia. We loved our terrace and dipping pool/hot tub. It could not have been a more beautiful and picturesque place to stay. The location is great, right on the caldera, but a 5-7 minute walk into the center of town where all of the restaurants, shops and tourists are, so it is a bit more private. We loved our time there!

Great for Oia, but not all that

I was not completely prepared for the hotels in Santorini. Because it is such an amazing location, it seems that this price will not buy luxury. That being said, this hotel was great for many reasons.

1. The pool was big and well located. The pool in the neighboring hotel was small and always crowded, so I was happy to see that the Rimida pool was more spacious.
2. The view is spectacular
3. Great location in Oia
4. I loved the privacy of our indoor jacuzzi and the view from the jacuzzi was amazing. Other rooms had jacuzzi's outside.

Some things to keep in mind
1. We asked for transportation to the airport and were not told about the fee. It was 30 Euros. Our other hotel in Santorini (not in Oia) picked us up for free.
2. Breakfast is free but is mostly bread.
3. The Jacuzzi is in the kitchen area, so although spacious, a little strange.
4. The shower in the bathroom is really small and not enclosed. The room we stayed in had a shower in the kitchen.

A dream hotel.

This was our first trip to Santorini and this was the perfect hotel and perfect town. Rimida Villas is a beautiful place to stay with a large pool, a private pool on the balcony, and spacious room. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The staff was extremely accommodating. Oia is the most beautiful place in the world I have ever traveled to. I would recommend this place to my friends and family and am already dreaming about coming back.

Amazing Rimida!

Arrived late afternoon to the stunning views of the caldera and what an amazing cave house. It was exactly like the pictures - even the bed was on a stone base and was so comfortable. The house was cool and there was always hot water for a shower. I looked forward to breakfast every morning served on the terrace - the most amazing view to behold you ( I had to pinch myself to check I wasn't dreaming!). Dimitri was so helpful about everything and was very knowledgeable about the island. The swimming pool was possibly the biggest we saw, so nearby and there were always sunbeds available. The main street in Oia was 5 minutes away - full of quaint paths, plenty of shops and restaurants. Ammoudi Bay was in walking distance and very picturesque; you could also take boat trips from here ( climbing the volcano and visiting Thalassia is a must). I will definitely be returning and staying at Rimida Villas.

Was blown away by the views. The villas are absolutely beautiful, traditional Greek cave houses and they are immaculate! Kept beautifully. Everything you could want and more! Breakfast everyday was delightful and Dimitri is such a sweetheart. Love this place sooo much and will definitely return!! Thank you Rimidia!

Perfect view from cliffs of Oia Santorini. Fantastic staff. No 5 star amenities but you don't go there for that. Wonderful breakfast served on your patio. Short walk to the shops in Oia. Beautiful pool.
If you want the cave experience, this one is terrific.

Perfect location and stunning views

A lovely stay here, the location is perfect to stroll into oia, while the room's outdoor area had amazing views over the sea. Breakfast wasn't up to much, very basic, but filled a hole before going out for something more substantial. The room leaked when it rained (yes, it can rain in santorini!), but it's unusual to rain, so we were just unlucky. The owner is lovely and told us about a festival at a nearby town on our first night. We went and were so glad as we saw a real traditional side to the island. having driven around all the island, we were both really happy that we stayed in Oia over anywhere else as it is stunning. Go!

Best views and best staff in Santorini

Once we arrived we were received with outstanding service by the hotel's host Dimitri. He made sure in every single aspect that our stay was up to our highest expectations. The \"rooms\" are actually houses with kitchen and private terrace to the beautiful bay.

The house was very clean and it was serviced every day, the breakfast is served by Dimitri in your terrace. The location is right in the heart of the most luxurious place in Santorini, check the pictures.

The host is willing to help you making any arranges about your transport or any other inquiries in the island.

My girlfriend and I have decided to come back and we loved the service and location. We couldn't ask for more.
