Very beautiful property with gorgeous views
Plenty of helpful staff around. I can’t say enough about this hotel. It is my second time staying here and will come back again. Taxi always available to go up to town less than a mile away for shopping in Oia.

Such an amazing and relaxing place just a short walk to Oia. It was nice to be a little set apart when the crowds were busy shopping. Staff was great and the same every day so we became familiar with them. Very accommodating. My only less than 5 stars was that the bed was too hard for me.

We had a wonderful week at Secret view hotel. We had the private pool room and it was beautiful. Food was delicious in the restaurant, somewhat expensive but large portions so we soon learned to share things. Wine etc is also quite expensive but it’s Santorini and it tends to be. The staff were all very attentive and if you needed anything they were always happy and quick to provide. WONDERFUL views of the sunset from the bar which was the perfect place to have an evening drink. And only 15 minute walk into Oia. Uphill mind you. Overall a great choice for us

The service is ! I did not like that we had to pay for coffee when supposedly coffee is supposed to be included. Breakfast could use major improvement. Orange juice was processed, not fressly squeezed. fresh squeezed orange juice was available at a much higher price. This hotel truly has five star potential if they change their breakfast, and include good coffee. The coffee was terrible.

The positive: VERY friendly staff!
While the rooms were clean and modern, they felt sterile and lacking of character. The property is right on a busy road and we heard motorcycles and other traffic all night long. The mattress was rock hard and uncomfortable; the pillows were like huge overstuffed lumps….leaving us with aching backs and necks. Secret View looks pretty on the surface and in photos, but if you’re looking for comfort and quiet, this is not the place for you.
Breakfast was underwhelming, with minimal included options, compared to other places we’ve stayed on the island.

Was unimpressed with our stay at this hotel, considering the price of it, they didn’t even offer a proper cup of coffee in the mornings at breakfast. Breakfast choices were really limited and small portions. Not a great location, we had to use taxis every night to get into Oia- so keep this in mind when booking. Not impressed and was really disappointed with the services given the prices.

The accommodation and staff were truly 5 star. The distance to Oia was a 5 minute walk and the local restaurants were amazing. The only downside we had was the size of the rooms, which we could not fit two suitcases on the ground and the beds were not very comfortable. Otherwise this stay would be a 5 star!

Great location for a Santorini holiday

Overall an excellent place to stay for our visit to Santorini. The hotel has everything you could want. Very clean and modern and the staff were exceptional! Athena and the whole team made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and had our welcome cocktail at the pool bar! A la carte breakfast service was excellent and made a nice change to the more typical buffet style which seems more common these days. Our room had a fantastic panoramic view. We wanted to avoid being in the busy heart of Oia and this location is perfect. A short ten minute (uphill) walk from the hotel is the old town of Finikia. A great place to explore and many great places to eat with excellent local cuisine. A further 10 minute walk (level) and you are in the heart of Oia, so you can easily make the best of both worlds.Nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff and they were genuinely warm and friendly. Even when I had a slight problem (a minor eye infection) they soon got a doctors appointment for me and arranged a taxi, so that I could get the treatment I needed with minimal interruption of our holiday. Highly recommended! If we get back to Santorini, we will certainly book here aging!

The property is beautiful and the staff were wonderfully kind and helpful. Our room was well-appointed and clean. We ate a few meals in Finikia which is a 5 min walk from the hotel and cheaper than Oia. Oia is a 20-30 min walk from the hotel. The first 5 minutes are uphill but after it flattens and is easy. The spa was in the basement of the kitchen/breakfast facility so I could hear tables screeching and plates clinking during my massage, but it was a free massage due to the Expedia VIP perk so I’m still happy we did it. Domaine Sigalas winery is right up the road and was fantastic.

A great stay in Santorini.

This was a great hotel if you don't want to stay in the heart of hustle of Oia and pay the Oia prices. Manager and staff were amazing and always wanting to see how they could help with your stay. Free parking is great as Oia has limited paring and you need a car to truly see all of Santorini. A few restaurants within walking distance as well as the hotel restaurant which was great. There is a short path to Oia for a prime seat (not crowed) to watch the sunset as walking to Oia. We missed it the first few times, but once you find it its a great shortcut.

Excellent base for relaxation

Beautiful modern take on traditional Santorini village architecture. Two great pools. Everything immaculately clean. All staff lovely. Exceptionally helpful, professional and friendly. The food is excellent although expensive as elsewhere in Santorini.
Be prepared to walk uphill to see Foinikia village for fabulous restaurants: Lefkez, MezeMeze and Krinaki, and further walking to Oia. There are no pavements so be aware of traffic. Or hire a car.

I didnt like that there’s no elevator. Every uncomfortable bringing the luggage down the stairs.
Food the 2nd night at the restaurant was not as good as the first night. We didn’t eat out because we thought the food was great and came back to be disappointed.

I loved the hotel and the staff, the location was not as close to Oia as I expected. The walk to Oia was tough as the streets were narrow and there wasn't a side walk. Cars were flying by and it could have been dangerous. A taxi cost 20 euros each way. Again, the hotel was impressive as was the staff

This is a beautiful, modern property near the village of Oia. The property is gorgeous, and the pool is great for swimming. It does not have a caldera view, but you can see the ocean and the sunset. The street is quite busy, so you can get a fair amount of noise at night if you stay in one of the rooms nearest the street. It's a steep hike up to the road that takes you into Oia; however, we rented a car so we drove up to the main road and parked near the village walking path. The White Rock restaurant is quite good, and the included breakfast was plentiful. If you want to be away from the Oia crowds and are looking for an affordable but upscale hotel, this is a great choice.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! They welcomed us in with a fantastic drink. The hotel staff are truly all amazing... they gave us a tour of the hotel, restaurant recommendations, called our tours for us and booked taxis and shuttles. We also wanted to do the hike from Fira to Oia but recommended we delay it beacuse of fog that morning. This is also a great location... you can see the sunset or you can walk into Oia, if you like. The pool and the views are gorgeous. The restaurant is pretty delicious and there are some good restaurants nearby as well.

This is a beautiful hotel, quiet, peaceful, and private from the rest of the island. When we arrived we were greeted like kings and queens! Everyone made us feel great. We were escorted to our room where we were happy to find a beautiful room With plush linens, bath robes and house slippers… The room included a private hot tub on our balcony. We will definitely return! The entire staff was most gracious! The bar convenient and the outdoor pool lovely! Great views of the Aegean Sea from this hotel on the hills.

This hotel is a gem! We stayed there for 5 days and the staff made our stay truly enjoyable. I planned a private wedding anniversary dinner for my wife and I, and from the pre-planning to the final execution of a sunset photo shoot with a private photographer to an intimate dinner, the staff at the Secret View Hotel were super attentive and timely throughout all my online communications leading up to our visit; they were there every step of the way ensuring that we would have a memorable experience. The chef was excellent in preparing a personalized menu for my wife to accommodate her dairy and gluten allergies. The roof top set up was beautiful and our server, Demetrius, was excellent! We also treated ourselves to a couples spa--a wonderfully relaxing experience with very professional and highly-trained spa staff. We finished up most of our evenings sitting at the bar, enjoying delicious drinks (you got to try the mojito), and great company and conversation with Harris and Bill (their English names :). The front desk staff is friendly, attentive to their guests' needs, continuously checking in, and going the extra way to ensure that their guests' stays are enjoyable and memorable. Ellen and Alex were super helpful in assisting us with ATV rentals, dinner reservations, and organizing other experiences. Another plus, the location boasts a stunning view of the sunset and it was quiet in the evenings, while only being a 15 min walk away from all the main attractions in Oia.

The hotel location was very good, close to Oia but we could enjoy the calmness away from
the big crowd and it has nice restaurants nearby within 5 mins walk.
Most of the staffs at this hotel were quite nice and offered kind service, except the tall skinny guy with freezy hair who “ chooses” his ppl to talk to, talks too loudly, and never bothered to come pick my empty plates in the morning nor filled my glass although doing that to some other guests.

I especially liked the view in the room, and all the thoughtful gifts and attention that the hotel provided. Thank you!

Never experienced a more friendly service from hotel staff! I have stayed in hotels all around the world but nothing has compared to how nice everyone was. We had a short stay of 4 days but from the moment we got there to the moment we left they were all amazing. Me and my fiancé couldn't have been happier. The room was cleaned spotless daily, the breakfast buffet was delicious and waiters/waitresses very attentive. The view is amazing (ocean view facing island of Ios). A short walk to Oia (maybe 10-15mins) just have to go up a little steep hill but all part of the fun of Santorini. Highly recommended View Hotel by Secret. Next time I'm back in Santorini this is the go to. 10/10 truthfully

Wonderful and clean hotel. This property is fairly new and modern. It is perfect if you want to be out of the busy street traffic and the crowds of people in Oia. Although, still remain within 5 min walking distance. Which made it convenient for us when we wanted to eat dinner or shop.

I would definitely stay here again. Also breakfast was delicious and well worth coming here for. Also the staff and especially housekeeping was IMPECCABLE. Thank you, Elena for keeping our room in tip-top condition.

I love this property and highly recommend it anyone looking for a glamours but low key hotel. I look forward to coming back here again.

This place was amazing. From the moment you arrive they help you with your bags and fix you a welcome drink that is incredible. We were treated like royalty the whole time and the place is incredibly clean. The staff is super nice and so helpful. It is only a short walk right into the heart of oiá. The hotel was beautiful. Relaxing pool. Nice outdoor space and gorgeous furniture and views. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

המלון עצמו נקי, מעוצב יפה, חדרים יפים. האזור הוא ממש קרוב לאויה, אבל לא ממש אפשר ללכת ברגל כי זאת עלייה מאוד קשה! עם רכב זה 5 דק.

הבעיה שהצוות בקבלה קצת אדיש, לקח זמן עד שהחדר היה מוכן בהגעה וגם כשהוא היה מוכן לא טרחו להגיד לנו שניכנס עד שלא הלכנו לברר מה קורה כעבור כמעט 3 שעות. צריכים להשתפר בשירות למרות שניראה שמאוד משתדלים. תמיד מחייכים ושואלים לשלומנו

I was a guest in this Hotel in July 2021.It was just a wonderful experience.The stuff and all the service is more then great.I felt like a princess. The care is outstanding. i used the spa several times, it also was a great discovery. I bought a package Hotel and flight together and needed to end my vacation get troubeld with Easy Jet,as they overbooked flights and just denied my boarding to get home.That left a bitter taste. A Hotel with this standard should not partner with a cheap airline.

Wonderful property - walkable to the heart of Oia but not crowded with tourists. The breakfast daily had a nice selection. The pool with sea views was a highlight. Rooms and beds are comfortable and staff was very very accommodating. Highly recommend and hope to be back again soon!!

No comfort lounge area. Our flight got to Santorini at 0400. When we got to the resort it very cold and uncomfortable. The seats at the front desk was low, hard and just cold inside. We had to sit outside until about 10am they were able to give us an early check in. I'm grateful for that but right now I'm fighting a cold. They really do need comfortable seating and a larger check-in area. Ladies in housekeeping and in reception came off mean & unfriendly. Apart from that the resort is very clean, rooms are nice. Breakfast was fine and the Sunset & sunrise views are beautiful

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, it’s location, the amenities and the staff. First I think it was the absolute best idea to not stay in Oia. The location here in Finikia is perfect. You’re close enough to Oia with a reasonable walking distance (15 mins) but not in the middle of all the melee. The hotel itself is beautiful. It’s relatively new, and is an offshoot of the Secret chain. The amenities are great. The pool superb. The breakfast (included) was a great spread of options. But perhaps the best thing about this hotel is the staff. Theodora and Elina were amazing hosts!! From the way they greeted us on arrival, to helping us with restaurant recommendations, arranging taxi services and just making suggestions in general (all of which were spot on), we could not have asked for more. Would definitely recommend you staying here if you want to be away from all the hustle and bustle of being in Oia. We plan to visit Santorini again and we would definitely stay here.
