Everyone at the hotel was invaluable, friendly and accommodating. They provided excellent service and suggestions to make our stay a memorable one. I definitely recommend staying here, especially if you want to stay in Santorini, but just outside of the busier spots like Oia and Fira

The staff here were so helpful and kind! They provided help with booking transportation and gave us recommendations on things to do in the area.

The room was stunning and clean with a great view. The pool was beautiful, and I loved the quiet, relaxing vibe of this place.

They provided free breakfast, which was fantastic, and they had a bar & other menu items near the pool to order at your convenience.

I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone staying in Santorini, especially couples!

Wir hatten die Honeymoon Suite, sie war sehr schön sauber und wirklich toll. Es war ruhig und der Weg in die Stadt 15-30 min auf völlig in Ordnung. Der Service war top.
Einzige Sache, wir haben beim Frühstück Alternativen vermisst ohne Ei.

We stayed a week here and for us it was perfect. We had a villa with a private pool which I would very much recommend but they have a lovely shared pool too. The staff were really professional and everyone went out of their way to be friendly and attentive. They work very hard but we're always smiling and friendly. We loved it there. The food we had was great and really generous. The breakfast was enormous and cooked to order. You do have a bit of a stroll to the nearest village and it's about a 20 minute walk to Oia. That was fine for us and we liked that it was a bit away from other places For us it was perfect and I recommend Danae very highly.

this place was a dream! just make sure you book a taxi there through the hotel to make sure the taxi will bring you to the doors. we went with another taxi company who wouldnt bring us all the way up and it's quite a hike with luggage. cant wait to visit again!

Beautiful resort with infinity pool and view of sea, mountains and other islands. View of sunset at pool and sunrise from our patio! Gorgeous boho style with very friendly staff, excellent food and perfect proximity to other towns. Thank you to all of the staff there for ensuring a wonderful stay!

The property was clean and very comfortable. After a long day of touring, we returned to the property to sit on the patio and look at the ocean.
The staff was tremendously accommodating. On our last night, a guest in another room stole one of our patio chairs, preventing all of my guests from sitting outside. The staff was so apologetic; two staff members carried a bench from the pool area to our patio so that we could enjoy our last night looking at the ocean.

Had a great stay here. The staff were friendly and always went out of their way to help. The pool was lush and the sunset view was amazing! A 20 minute walk away from Oia, this is perfect is you just want to chill out away from the hustle and bustle and tourists.

The hotel is very nice, quiet, clean with good views but a bit excluded from transportation and not comfortable to walk to bus stops or the beach. The access up to the hotel from the road is a bit tight, the cobble stone road is narrow and many transport services do not want to take you all the way to the entrance so it makes carrying luggage up the hill for more than 700 Mts a very complicated task.

The reception team is attentive and try to offer solutions to any questions, yet you need to be stern with your requests. There is a very amiable and very efficient staff person named Arkiontis who has great disposition while serving at the bar or breakfast but not all the staff are as amenable.
I would recommend that if you take a shuttle from the port, you insist on being taken up all the way to the hotel entrance. Review and compare prices for transportation services and for tours in Santorini before booking with the hotel's recommendations.
Also, there are no other convenient food options nearby so the hotel menu is pricey for the quality it serves.

We loved this property! We got the suite with the private pool which was amazing and reasonably priced for all we got. We had an ATV that we picked up right from the airport, strapped our luggage to, and used for the entirety of our trip. I would not recommend staying at this hotel if you are not renting a car, atv, or moped. It is remote, and cabs are not plentiful. We could take our atv into Oia for dinner in under 10 mins and one night we just ordered room service because the view of the sunset from our private pool was too hard to get away from. The food was ok, but nothing spectacular. The hotel staff was so warm and welcoming and made sure we had everything that we needed. Breakfast was included and was made to order, simple but did the job.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights for our honeymoon and we fell in love with the property and with the hospitality of the staff. Christian helped us immensely when we first arrived with a dilemma we had and handled what would have been a very stressful situation without his help. All the staff members were professional and friendly. The room we stayed in was gorgeous. The property had a delicious breakfast menu and their lunch menu was also very tasty. The views were lovely overlooking the beach. Overall, my husband and I were glad to have selected a more “quiet” location in Santorini with only being a 20 min drive away from the hotspots. Highly recommend staying at this property!

We had an awesome experience at this hotel. It is in quite a unique spot, on the pathway of the numerous alleys in Finikia, close to Oia. The pathways are pedestrian only, and featured a very cool neighbourhood that seemed like it was built into the rocks. It was easy to walk up to Oia, passing a few great restaurants along the way, and ending up in the fantastic Oia. The hotel staff are super friendly, the room was very unique and comfortable. Breakfast was great, also. Overall, a very unique and great experience. Highly recommend!

We stayed 5 nights and 6 days and had a wonderful stay. The staff at the bar is awesome. Breakfast was good and they have a club sandwich that is really good. Housekeeping was great always left the room very clean. My only complaint is that there is no microwave for guests to use anywhere which is an inconvenience if you have food you would like to eat later. Otherwise I would rate our stay a 8/10.

I loved this hotel the staff was so kind but its the distance. Most taxis cant drive in front of the hotel because the streets are small so you have to walk for 7 minutes on cobble stones and hills. The hotel was near Oía (20 minute walk) which has restaurants and shops and more hotels but besides that we had to take the taxi everywhere. The hotel is more like a remote couples hotel. If you love hiking and want to be away from the tourist areas this is the place for you.

I loved everything about Dánae Suites. Every member of the staff was so friendly and helpful. Although it’s a bit of a walk to Santorini, I enjoyed the quieter location, and I felt safe walking back and forth alone at any time of day or night. The breakfast was wonderful, and they have giant bowls of fruit out all day in case you want a quick snack. They also do a great job of refilling water and coffee during your stay—and they even bring water over while you’re at the pool. My room was enormous and beautifully decorated. I actually liked it so much that I stayed for five nights instead of my original three. Highly recommend this place!

We had an incredible 7 night stay at Danae Suites. The rooms are beautiful, amazing sea view from the pool and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. Nicole in particular was great! The location for us was perfect - nice and quiet but a really lovely 10-15 minute walk through the beautiful town of Finikia to get to the entrance of Oia.
The food also exceeded expectations. There were great options at breakfast and also the food available by the pool was amazing.
Our only tiny criticism is that we didn’t love that there was music playing throughout the day in the pool area but appreciate this is a personal preference.

We would love to come back here!

El hotel es muy bonito, el único inconveniente es que si no contratas con ellos el recojo desde el aeropuerto tienes que caminar mucho con tu equipaje desde donde te deje tu taxi ( ellos no tienen acceso al hotel) y es bastante lejos y el camino tiene muchas escaleras y Dánae Suits es prácticamente el último del camino, así que recomiendo contratar con ellos el recojo desde el aeropuerto.

We had the most amazing stay at Danae Suites, besides the hotel being brand new, very comfortable and beautiful, definitely the best part of this hotel is the staff. The entire staff is phenomenal, they went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing experience at Danae. Truly unforgettable everything they did for as as we were in our honeymoon. Absolutely wonderful stay here. It’s a new hotel and the rooms were spotless and huge. The grounds are so well kept up. The breakfast included in our package was great. The location was perfect. It’s out of the touristy area of Oia but still walking distance (15-20 min depending on how you do hills). In the quaint town of Finika you can find great restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. Pavlos (hope the spelling in correct) was excellent and always available if needed to make sure everything was ok. Would highly recommend this hotel

Our stay at Danae Suites was absolutely incredible. Honestly, the photos do not do this property justice! Everything was top notch, from the property itself to the service to the amenities and views. Pavlos, the manager, was hands down one of the best… he went above and beyond for us to make our stay special and effortless. This place is truly a hidden gem and super relaxing and quiet. I would definitely stay here again and plan to when we return to Santorini. Super close to everything, and you won’t regret it. The in-suite jacuzzi was another major plus, and the amazing shower. Expecting a late check-in, we emailed the hotel a couple of days before and they were quick to arrange an efficient private airport transfer. Upon arrival at the hotel, the first thing we noticed was a man sweeping what looked like an already immaculate lobby floor. He introduced himself as the manager. While some might find this detail trivial or funny, it was actually the opposite: A manager who voluntarily sweeps a clean, luxury hotel floor at 10 pm is a perfect example of the level of dedication and attention to detail that trickles down to the entire staff.

Danae Suites is a beautiful small resort perched on a sun-drenched Santorini Hill, away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. Throughout our stay, the staff was friendly, professional, and reactive to our every request for help, notably with renting a car that was delivered to the hotel and changed the next day when we mentioned it didn't fit our needs. The front desk has a WhatsApp number you can text at any time, which proved particularly useful when outside of wi-fi zones on the island. The breakfast buffet was ample and delicious, thanks to Maria, a lovely, dedicated chef. The rooms are beautifully designed and we were lucky to receive a free upgrade to ours. If we were to nit-pick, the only downsides are the super tight paved road that provides the only access (any car bigger than a compact would not fit) and the fact that the private pools aren't heated. Other than that, our stay was perfect!!

The pool area is absolutely stunning and has the most amazing view of the ocean! Breakfast each morning was delicious. Everyone took such good care of us— we appreciate all the staff did for us! I also loved the location and the cute village that the suites were located in.

Location is king in Santorini and Danae Suites doesn't have it. Santorini prices without the Santorini experience. It's a long walk back up the hill to the main road for the Caldera view and 2km from Oia sunset view. Even with a car there's a very narrow path for the last 500m to the property. Taxis won't go there because it's too narrow and dump you in a car park a 10 min walk away; you end up dragging suitcases down narrow cobbled lanes. There is one transport company they can arrange but that's 60 euro.
Breakfast is pretty good. Staff are very nice. Didn't do dinner. We walked back up the narrow paths (dark at night) to places like Meze Meze, Mes Amis and Lefkes for dinner. Bar prices by pool are very expensive.
The hotel itself is very nice and has a good view of the sea down the hill to the north. Even when they complete a decent north-side road to the property you can't get away from the walk back up the hill to the main road and caldera. For the prices it's all just too inconvenient. Unless of course you want to get away from it all. But in that case why go to Santorini?

Hotel was beautiful and staff were amazing. It’s a 20 minute walk to Oia but a perfect getaway from the hectic and crowded town. It was so nice to come back and relax by the pool.

Pavlos was amazing. He arranged all of our transport and was available at all time to answer our questions or help with anything in the room. He would always go above and beyond! All the staff were incredibly friendly and nice.

The rooms were big and always clean. The infinity pool was amazing and great to relax.

So glad we stayed here!

Die Cave Suite ist hübsch eingerichtet mit einem sehr bequemen Bett und einem tollen “Höhlenbadezimmer”. Die Lage ist gut, weit weg vom Trubel in Oia und Fira. Das Dorf, das man in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreicht, ist sehr charmant und ursprünglich mit einigen guten Restaurants. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die nicht auf Caldera-Blick bestehen.

High ranking! Very friendly service, all services and wishes were met with a good and dedicated attitude. All facilities were comfortable and of sufficient size, swimming pool, sun loungers, pool bar, restaurant, etc.

Special mention was made of the breakfast, which you could choose from a list, in addition to a buffet table and croissants served to the tables. As well as a large bottle of water included in the room rate every day.

Even the taxi rides arranged through the hotel were reasonably priced, as they are often quite expensive.
