We had an incredible time at this hotel. I would highly recommend this place to all travellers. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The area was quiet and beautiful with a lovely pool area that you can watch the sunset. The breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant was open also for dinner with a great view. The best part about this place was the staff. Our host was amazing, we didn’t get her name but she was blonde and so incredibly friendly and helpful. She even booked us a last minute buggy and had it delivered to the door in 10 minutes. We also had an amazing server for our breakfasts. She was so kind and attentive and made the experience so memorable. Thank you for the fantastic experience!

Highly recommend Finikia Memories. Great value for money, excellent service, clean, authentic accomodation. The on site restaurant is really excellent (best food I had in Santorini). The included breakfast was simply fantastic and provided the best start to the day. Incredible views of the famous sunset and only over the road from wonderful hiking paths providing the best views of the caldera. On this occasion I was travelling alone for a peaceful break and it was the perfect place for that. I could not recommend it highly enough

I had a wonderful stay at Finikia Memories for two nights. The place is impeccably clean, with spotless rooms and stunning views overlooking both the sea and the pool. The breakfast was continental with a wide variety, from fresh orange juice to some of the most delicious omelets I’ve ever had. The staff at both the hotel and restaurant were incredibly friendly and attentive. The restaurant’s view is absolutely breathtaking! If you enjoy walking, it’s only about a 20-minute walk to the center of beautiful Oia and the famous Dome. Highly recommend this hotel!

Cute property, common area wifi only

The good:
Decent size room, nice bed, full size restroom, nice staff, breakfast included

The bad: No TV in room, room blocks cell signal (using travel pass from home network, connects to Nova in Greece) , no wifi in room (only in common areas) as if ppl want to sit outside with the heat and bugs to connect to wifi. Charge guest for transport to and from the airport, it’s the same price of calling an Uber -+ £5.

The ugly: No A/C! The management decided that the temperature outside wasn’t high enough so they disabled the A/C in the rooms, heat only. Mind its people tanning by the pool. Im applying sunscreen daily before going outside. I think that should be at the discretion of the guest to turn on or off the A/C. After our 1st day out, we returned pretty late. The room smelled like someone had come in and repainted, then locked everything. My wife had a headache. Again, it was late so we notified the front desk after we returned the next evening prior to our departure. The offered a fan.

We had a fantastic week at this hotel! We loved everything about it - location, great staff, brilliant restaurant and lovely room! We arrived late around 11pm and the roof terrace restaurant with views to Oia was still serving food and the staff were very accommodating, with nothing too much trouble. Food and service was always excellent, with everything freshly cooked and the same at breakfast which was also fabulous and cooked to order! Great menu and wine/cocktail selection too!

Our room (22) opened directly onto the pool which was great, room was spacious, spotlessly clean and serviced daily, bed large and comfortable, great shower room and plenty of toiletries plus kettle, tea and coffee, water and a useful fridge! The air con also worked perfectly! Wi-Fi was sporadic poolside but fine at the top by the restaurant and reception, so we did not see this is an issue at all, despite what others have said!
Location - some beautiful walks on the doorstep, easy 15 minute gentle downhill walk to Oia (which was amazing) and bus stop virtually outside the hotel (buses easy to use, reliable and very cheap)!
We loved the pool and the hotel and gardens were all immaculate!
We will definitely be returning to beautiful Santorini and to this fantastic hotel! The hotel arranged a taxi transfer back to airport cost Euro 45, excellent service!
Thank you to all the team at Hotel Finikia Memories for making our holiday so special!

Property is good but it’s a boutique hotel so you we need to understand the nuances that comes with it - like no room service, no iron in room etc etc. The rooms are basically clean and small and should be good for couple but becomes very small and challenging if you have kids. Was about a 15 min walk into Oia which was one for the price. Authentic cave experience. The hotel view is actually facing opposite of the caladra view. Made to order breakfast was also good. Found the restaurant to be over priced. 4 shrimp was 28eur with no side. It's hit or miss in greece when you find places that don't have buns with hamburgers, staff was kind enough to let us know that prior to ordering. After seeing all the positive reviews for this hotel I was looking forward to arriving at Finikia Memories. Upon arrival we were given one of the loft type typical cave house. The bathroom did not look like any of the pictures and was old and dark with no shower head and the tiniest space, lucky my husband and I are short otherwise we would not have fit. The power would go out frequently every 10 minutes and then restart. There was no tv and the wifi was terrible and we could only seem to get service in the main areas. The pool was nice and clean but never enough sun beds for all the guests and there was no music at all so the vibe was very dull. The free breakfast in the morning was very limited and everyday at least 1 item that we ordered would never arrive. Staff at the restaurant were very pleasant though. Unfortunately this hotel is not one that I would recommend or go back to, spend the extra money and stay closer to the main town of Oia.

Average but nice hotel

Lovely hotel overall and worth a stay but maybe just for a night or two. The breakfast was amazing with a great amount of option and cooked really well too. The staff especially Danielle was exceptional. The lunch and dinner options were quite minimal but this was the same theme overall in santorini. At the pool the deck chairs were really hard and quite uncomfortable, it would have been nice to have some sort of music as felt quite boring there.
Online the jacuzzi said it was available however it was not and they said it was a hassle to clean it which was unfortunate as it was one of the features why we picked the hotel.
The cleaners were available at all times and did do a great job, the cleanliness of the place was overall great however had to constantly ask for shampoo and conditioner and felt like they weren’t happy when doing so.
One thing I found disappointing is when asked for the airport shuffle I was quoted €100 which was extraordinarily overpriced for the 20min ride and when reached the hotel was told it’s actually €70. This shows not 100% transparency on pricing.
Very close to Oia, 5 min walk to the shop and can get drinks etc for way cheaper and store in fridge. Some of the staff had a negative attitude but maybe that’s their nature not too sure. Online it said checkout was 12 but they made us leave by 11am even though I showed them my booking. An hour makes a huge difference when with children.
Overall for the price worth a stay however could improve.

Really Awful/Filthy

The check in was really good
Room looked good
Advertises it is in Oia. It’s 20 mins. from there and a good 30 mins walk to the furthest Oia sunset spot. This was awful
My sheets had blood and what looked like “poo” stains. The cover blanket was filthy as if animals lay on it. This made me sick. I asked for new sheets around 1015pm and the bar lady said nothing I can do. It’s too late. I told her the situation but she walked away and served others. This was disgusting and the most unpleasant experience I have ever had.
The breakfast is awful.
The lunch meal we had was in a take away container and for the price it was so not worth it.
Hates this place for numerous reasons as above. Please DO NOT STAY HERE.

I loved the amenities and the restaurant and cleaning staff were wonderful! The views, music, food, and general ambiance of the restaurant were a particular highlight. Very romantic. Room was very charming and had an alluring, if narrow, view of the ocean. Hot tub was excellent and special thanks to the staff for helping me with the controls to get it working. The hotel is a one minute walk away from the bus stop to/from Fira, about 15 minutes away from the outskirts of Oia. Bathroom was in good condition, A/C worked great, bed was comfy and clean. I was annoyed most with check in. I just wanted to drop my luggage off and had notified in advance of the early hour I was getting in. I was told I could do that. I sat there for about an hour when the receptionist came in and went about her business without saying hello to me. After about 10 minutes, I reminded her that I was still waiting. She said of course but then ignored me for ANOTHER 10 minutes before I went to her, asked her if I could leave my luggage. She said yes, in the open lobby, so I asked who would watch it (since she hadn't exactly been attentive) and responded with a sarcastic \"I will\". Lose the attitude, lady. For such a pricey hotel option I would hope that the receptionist would treat guests better. Not sure I would come back to stay here with all the other hotel options on the island.

Below average. Had a couple issues regarding noise from the restaurant above our Room with chairs scraping until after 12:30am. Was a busy night for the restaurant and when I asked if it would be a regular thing the reception denied it was the source of the noise which was absolute rubbish. Rooms are very basic. 2 star is what you get, no tea & coffee, no wi fi or tv in the room. Pool area is really nice and the hotel location is 20 minute walk to Oia which is ok however I wouldn’t recommend staying if you haven’t got transport sorted. This is a pretty neat hotel close to oia maybe ten minute walk to the scenery you are expecting here. The room we had (24) was about ten feet from the pool which was neat. Pool was only open until 8pm and wifi does NOT work in your rooms. You have to sit outside and there are no TV’s in the rooms. So bit much to do here other than eat at the restaurant or sit out on your balcony to use the wifi which wasn’t the greatest connection. Overall the hotel was great but the amenities need a step up.

Good value for money.

We only decided for a holiday in Santotini 3 weeks before our stay, and most hotels in Fira and Oia are hugely overpriced so we picked here at last. Very easy to get around if you have a car, as the hotel is very close to Oia and only 15 minutes drive to Fira. Everything is nice as shown in their pictures, with the only drawback no wifi in rooms. Even wifi in public areas are very weak and slow too. But this shouldn’t be an issue if you have your own internet arranged.

A comparatively well-priced gem on the outskirts of Oia (fifteen to twenty minutes walk from the town itself) with friendly and helpful staff; a quaint, comfortable and well-maintained room, a fairly quiet and pleasant pool area and decent breakfast included. It was perfect for us as a base for Oia and a relaxing day or so by the pool.

A little difficult to find using local buses. Ended up in the wrong town to wait for the next bus back in the direction of our hotel. Once there we were very pleasantly surprised and very much enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable stay with my wife

The hotel is 10 mins easy walk to main Oia town. The breakfast is made fresh every morning and serves good variety. Service is quite helpful and responsive. Hotel is pretty new and rooms are very clean. The only con is that the room didn't have TV and bathroom amenities were very limited. Kitchen is open until 11.30pm. Bus stop is right opposite and there are direct bus to Fira town and the hotel offers parking space. The washroom needs to have better lighting and an upgrade.

So, all in all its a great value for money for a comfortable experience, especially if you are like us, who don't want to stay within room.

Special hotel near Oia

We are so glad we decided to treat ourselves to staying one night at Finikia Memories.
Our room was beautiful and very comfortable, with an amazing view of the sea.
The hotel staff were very attentive, helping with anything we needed.
It's a great location, 15 minutes walk to Oia.

Beautiful hotel

Everything was fantastic, not a bad word to say. Location was a little bit out of the way but we hired quad bikes which were delivered to the hotel and that was very easy to get around on

Nice hotel, very clean and quiet.

The reception operates from 8:30am to 22:00pm, but they waited for us as we arrived around 22:15. We really appreciate. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, very practical if you want to go to Fira or Oia. The restaurant is a good place if you don't want to go out after a long visiting day.

Best staff in Santorini

Amazing stay and the best staff! Super nice kind and always available. The restaurant was incredible and the menu had the largest variety of all restaurants we found in the area. The location was very convenient and had a beautiful view! Thanks again to all the staff they were amazing people with great hearts and always ready to help or recommend to make our stay that much more memorable!

Good value hotel close to Oia

Overall I've had a pleasant experience and would recommend the hotel. The best thing is no doubt the location with respect to price - it's about a 20 minute walk to the most beautiful village in Santorini, Oia, in which all other hotels have an astronomical price tag. There is also a bus stop very close by which takes to you Thira.

The room was nice and clean. I also really enjoyed the breakfast (included in the price) every morning.

Negatives: the wifi in the room did not work, I could only connect to the restaurant wifi. Also our room was sort of on the side of the hotel rather than at the back facing the pool (as shown in photo) which I was hoping for. It wasn't a big deal but would have been nice if we were told at the time of booking.

Lovely hotel with great staff. The restaurant was lovely for an evening meal and there are many other restaurants about a 25 minute walk away in Oia. There is a bus stop near the hotel where you can catch a bus into Fira which takes around 20 minutes.

Good hotel about 15min walk from Oia

We had a wonderful stay at Finikia's. It is located about a 15 minute walk from Oia and we walked it several times, it's not bad at all. The staff were great and arranged a taxi for us from the airport because we were arriving late in the night. They also arranged a rental car for us one day. The breakfast was delicious and we ate at the restaurant one night and it was AMAZING. The pool area was relaxing and quiet. Overall we had a great experience
