The location requires no luggage or small luggage because there is no taxi access and you walk a lot carrying the bags. Not easy to find I must say, you have to be scorted 1st time to find it.

Everything about this place was.. of course EPIC! the hospitality is unmatched. I asked a few questions that seem like obvious things but they helped me with no problems. They worked with me on the scheduling and gave amazing recommendations about food. The 2 restaurants close to the location were absolutely amazing!! I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone wanting a quiet place to stay just outside of the busy Oia area. We WILL be back.

I can’t rave more about this place. It was a really beautiful property. George was amazing. He went above and beyond for everything. From the minute we got there and left he made sure we were good. This is what you call hospitality. He made sure we selected breakfast for every morning. I love that they called you every morning to come enjoy breakfast on the private patio. The rooms were extremely clean and very quiet and cleaned everyday. We I would recommend this place over and over. It met all of our expectations and more!! There is also some good restaurants choices and it’s not far from the Oia. I loved it !!

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and our stay at Edem was excellent. The staff were all very nice, accommodating, welcomed us with sparkling wine and found every way possible to make our stay perfect. Staff like Melo, Baka, George, and the nice cleaning ladies all did a wonderful job. The breakfast was amazing every morning at the time we wanted with an ocean view. The personal ocean view spa was always hot and clean. They gave us advice on where to park, places to eat and visit, and even connected us with an amazing sunset boat tour that was affordable! They definitely fit the title of luxury and boutique.

Great staff who get to know you. It is deep in a small village with uneven steps and hilly terrain. If you have knee or accessibility issues, it will be difficult to navigate. However, the staff are all great and will even arrange transportation wherever you need to go. They have a great porter who somehow carried all our luggage through the terrain and to our room. It’s a quiet area with an amazing breakfast which you order the night before and can enjoy on your terrace. Hot tub is great and you have a lot of privacy since there are less than 10 rooms. Great stay and would recommend for couples looking for a quiet time.

Wow! This place is next level, but let me give a pro tip. There is no parking lot at this hotel. You need to park in Finikia public parking (if you rented a car) and then walk the residential cobblestone streets through homes to get to the hotel. It’s a 5 minute walk. Once we made it to the hotel, we were greeted by Dmitri who really went the extra mile. He brought us champagne with raspberries, then showed us our room. The room is AMAZING! My husband and I slept so well. Right after showing us our room, he brought us a fruit plate and then an olive and cheese plate. We got the room with a hot tub on the terrace and we mentioned we wanted to go up there in the hot tub. We walked to Oia and went shopping, took in some amazing views, and had dinner. We walked back to the hotel and Dmitri had preheated the hot tub for us! We ordered a bottle of wine and went upstairs to the hot tub, drank wine, and enjoyed the crystal clear view of the stars and constellations in the sky. We also had a great nights’ sleep. The bed is so comfortable. Thank you for a Santorini experience we won’t ever forget!

Great staff lovely attitude. The property is NOT a 5star at all. Maybe a 2 star but really a lovely B&B with about 8rooms. This view is reinforced by the property I'm at now in Mykonos. Now this is a 5 star. Ambience amenities aesthetic and overall attention to detail is comparable to hotels across the globe. Edem failed miserablely in this regard. It was a struggle walking to and from the hotel entrance from the drop off point. The drop off point whose identifiable landmark is a row of trashcans and stray dogs milling about the area is a rather dingy dark parking lot that looks like a municipal general lot. The area is a mixture of a public residential area whose neighbors consist of families, other B&Bs that also call themselves hotels, tavernas and restaurants.

It was such a great experience for me and my husband. Dimitris and staff were friendly, accommodating, and attentive to our needs. They’re just naturally good at what they do. The location of Edem is immersed in this little village of Finikia, which is walking distance from Oía, the next largest town with the picturesque views of Santorini. Be prepared for a good 300-meter walk from the drop off parking lot to Edem as no vehicles can enter the village. We paid extra for the rooftop and jacuzzi access but all worth it for the views of the ocean and the serenity of village life. Food was excellent and on demand. Overall, this is a topnotch small resort that is a hidden gem!

We’d give Edem Luxury Hotel a 10-star if possible! This has been the best hotel we’ve stayed in ever! From the unique Santorini cave style room (with a modern design!), to the private warm tub with a view on the roof, to the freshly customized breakfast everyday, to the extremely warm and happy staff, to the nicest chatty owner who works hard to raise the bar for every bit of the service! My husband and I had our dreamy honeymoon there (they decorated the room so romantically on our first day with candles and balloons!). Will definitely go back!

The staff was very personable and attentive. The facility was newly remodeled everywhere and the view from the rooftop was amazing. The courtyard bar was cozy and well stocked. The walk from the shared parking area to the front door is about 150 meters down a road too narrow to drive.

Greated by Christina (the very kind and friendly manager) and a glass of wine on arrival. Throughout the whole holiday she gave us lots of advice and tips of where to go and what to see. She greated us every day and we stayed up chatting to her one night which was lovely.
Property itself is situated in Finikia which is just outside Oia (about 10-15 mins walk). This was a bonus for us as although we went at the very end of season Oia was still packed with tourists so this was a nice retreat away from the chaos but close enough to walk. Finikia is a charming little village with 2 restaurants and a taverna (which does excellent food if you like more traditional Greek and Andreas the owner is very friendly). The property isnt caldera facing but you see so much of that during all the touristy stuff that it didn't matter to us.

All in all an excellent place to stay whilst you explore Santorini
Property itself is situated in Finikia which is just outside Oia (about 10-15 mins walk). This was a bonus for us as although we went at the very end of season Oia was still packed with tourists so this was a nice retreat away from the chaos but close enough to walk. Finikia is a charming little village with 2 restaurants and a taverna (which does excellent food if you like more traditional Greek and Andreas the owner is very friendly). The property isnt caldera facing but you see so much of that during all the touristy stuff that it didn't matter to us.

This is a boutique hotel located in the local quarter of a village. The manager was very helpful, she reached out to us ahead of our arrival and helped to arrange for transfer from to port to the hotel. The facility is very clean and breakfast on the deck was simple delicious. Christian made our stay memorable in Santorini.

It has to be said, Nena and Christina are amazing hosts and do nothing but tend to your every need. From help around the island as what to do and arranging everything to make your day the best it can possibly be. We arrived and was greeted with drinks whilst Nena explained all we could do during our visit to the beautiful Santorini. We then got welcomed to our beautiful cave which was clean and decorated lovely and just as the pictures. We then tried one or three local restaurants MezeMeze, which is amazing and so good for value and portions. Lefkes is nice but can get loud inside, but worth the visit and Krinaki is one of our favourites during the holiday with such a nice bunch of greeters and the chef is amazing. All in all, you can not go wrong staying in Edem. I have to say, that Costas, Christina and Nena are the true key as to the success of this beautiful place. Oia is just a 5 minute walk and the car park is near the hotel. You can’t drive to the hotel but don’t think for one second that’s a fault, as you will never carry your own bags as a bell boy will always be there to help. We have visited Santorini many times but this is by far the best location to stay and the nicest people we have had the pleasure to meet. See you soon Nena and Christina, as I’m sure Cath and I will be back in the not to distant future.
