Staff are really good there, the rooms are nice, only issue was I could hear the boiler running a few times through the night and you can hear the other guests hocking up in the next room, but for the price and what you get it’s probably fair.

I loved this hotel. It was affordable, but my room was very nice. The staff were polite, there is inexpensive parking nearby, and the area is very walkable. I was two blocks from the beach. It was quiet at night, and my room was very comfortable. I will be back!

Clean, tidy, spacious room with lots of wardrobe space. Some elements of wear & tear but no holes and the sockets worked well!
Bathroom was a bit awkwardly shaped but the hot water worked & a few toiletries thrown in is a great thing.

Breakfast is a canteen style room also open to the public but it's hearty enough (bread products, ham and/or cheese + preserves, yogurt, coffee/tea & fruit juice) - just let them know room number and anything you don't want; they speak at least Spanish, English & a smattering of other European tongues.......
The guys running it seem to know everyone in the surrounding area as they come in for a coffee & chat!

A great place to stay

Lovely hotel, a few yards from Paseo Maritimo and less than 10 minutes from Santa Catalina bus station.
A perfect base for enjoying Las Palmas, exploring the island and visiting family.
All the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, particularly at reception.
Spacious, clean room with the added bonus of a fridge and a valuables safe.
Slept peacefully throughout my weeks stay with no disturbance.
Comfortable lobby and attached bar/restaurant too.

This is a great hotel is all you want is a cheap room to sleep in. The beds and mattresses are clean - the shower and toilet is clean. The staff at reception were friendly.

The room was tired, with peeling wallpaper and the only thing to keep you cool is 1 fan - no Air conditioning.

The area os the greatest downside. It is indeed, right next to the beach - however this arra stank. It smelled of garbage l, had sex and weed shops all around it.

Definitely not the place to go if the hotel is meant to be part of the holiday, but a great place for if you need to stay somehwere on a budget. I was here ro visit my boyfriends family, so perfect for us.

I had excellent experience staying in this hotel. The room was nice and clean and most important the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in great location just two minutes from the beach. Yes the hotel is a little dated but for me is more important the cleanliness the location and the staff and to these three I can give 5 stars. Definitely I will return the next time that I will visit Las Palmas.

This property is area wise on a great spot, 1min walking to the beach and the boulevard with restaurants etc.

Bedlinnen needs updating and in the summer airco’s would be a welcome change.

Our rooms had no view, just of a tube, we were not allowed to change rooms, breakfast you get what you are given, the beds were so hard we all ended up with back pain, receptionists were nice, but overall the hotel is in a good place but will not be staying there again.

Perfect lication, in the heart of Las Palmas, seconds from the beach, bars and restaurants. Clean, friendly and accomodating staff, all amenities provided in the rooms, TV, hairdryer, safe, fridge etc Althought the hotel is a little dated, you cant fault it for value for money.

Rooms were really clean and bright, excellent bedding, plugs near the bed. Reception desk was amazing (especially Sara), Breakfast average. Internet was working good. At nights area was calm, while still very close to beach and dining places. Also very close to the central bus station - walkable distance from / to airport bus stop.

Only the thing I did not like - there was no AC and ventilators were not always enough.

This was a cute little hotel, but not fancy. The small cafe attached did breakfast which was pretty basic. The cafe staff were friendly, but pretty disorganized. Front desk staff were all friendly, but not overly so. The beds were comfortable and there was a fan in the room as well as a small fridge. The location is fabulous and the value was good. I would stay again.

Situated very close to Beach and Port this hotel was excellent value. Within a short walk you were on the flat promenade where the cafes and restaurants were plenty, catering for all tastes. The Hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant they spoke very good English and liked us trying out our very limited Spanish. All in all I would recommend this hotel.

city hotel yards from beach

A very pleasant hotel in an exellent location with very accomodating staff, the hotel itself is basic but very clean and well kept. The continental breakfast is adequate and served in the bar area pre-plated without choices(other items available at extra cost) with the waiting staff always very friendly and attentive. The beach just out of reception and to the left is wide with yellow sand with numerous ammount of exellent resteraunts and bars, all in all a good choice for a couple heading to las palmas.

NIce hotel very close to beach

Small family run friendly hotel very close to Casterneras - great beach. Lots of great bars, cafes and restaurants very close by. Hotel has its own small bar , frequented by the locals , but quiet. Las Palmas is a great city which has all the facilities you would expect from the 8th largest city in Spain.

Initially we were concerned about the location due to the empty properties opposite and the impression that it was a business district. However, we were delighted when we turned left and found the beach less than a minutes' walk. The hotel itself was quite basic - no air conditioning - only a fan which we kept going all the time we were in the room. This maintained a steady 26 degrees C. Some of the staff were very helpful and friendly but others were less so. We had a room on the 6th floor and on the last morning the lift broke down. Fortunately we only had to walk up once as we were checking out. They did offer help with the luggage. Breakfast was a simple affair of a peach juice, a coffee, a roll, one slice of ham, one slice of cheese, a croissant and jam. There were other options available at extra cost.

Average Hotel with Poor Plated Breakfast

We've got a nice room with balcony on a higher floor! However, after entering the room, there was an unpleasant smell of sewer. We opened windows in the room, reported the issue to management and went for a walk while waiting for the issue to be resolved. After coming back, the room smell improved, so we were okay with the room! Breakfast: The hotel advertised that it serves continental breakfast - according to international standards, it is all-you-can-eat breakfast with very limited food choices. However, you should be aware that the hotel only serves very small, plated breakfast! So, if you like to eat a little more for breakfast than you will be hungry or you will have to go outside to buy a better breakfast or branch! Hotel Area: On a more positive side, the hotel is located in a nice neighborhood near the beach and beautiful boardwalk as well as there are many good restaurants around.

Great location great staff !

We had a great stay at hotel Pujol, the staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was always clean and well presented. The room was exactly as the pictures show and were nice and a good sized for what we needed.

The location of the hotel was great, it was set back from the beach a little and was really convenient for local bus stops too.

Personally I'm a light sleeper so I found the walls a little thin as I could hear noise from our neighbours each night but it didn't put me off the hotel.

Good value budget hotel in excellent location

For the price you pay, Hotel Pujol delivers! This neat hotel sits within a minute of Playa Las Canteras and it's lively restaurants. Access to town is also good. Check in was quick and simple, the room was spacious and clean, the staff were helpful and the whole thing runs like clockwork. There are just one or two points you need to know - the breakfast is limited in choice to only one type(although quite nice to have) and there is no a/c in the room, but they provide a fan. Also, if you like amazing views from your room, this hotel has not got it, with rooms adjacent to another building the view is nothing to sing about. However, these points aside, I have paid much more for rooms in the past that are inferior to quality to those of Pujol. The value for money Pujol offers compared to others is remarkable - if you just want a good quality hotel room with no frills at a low cost - Pujol is a great choice!

Pleasant weekend at Pujol.

We had a pleasant stay at Pujol. The staff is very friendly, the location is superb near Playa de las Canteras, and Paseo de las Canteras with all the shops and restaurants. The breakfast was very basic and you'd probably be better of going to a Panederia (coffee shop with fresh bread, etc) around the corner. If you arrive by car, finding a parking space can be challenging in this area of Las Palmas.

Good value basic accommodation for a short stay. Great location for the beach. Very pleasant and helpful staff. As a general tip for visiting Gran Canaria and no relection on Hotel Pujol - watch your change. Being short changed was widespread throughout the south of the island and Las Palmas. Never experienced this in Lanzarote or Tenerife. For a first time visitor to Gran Canaria it's a negative reflection of the people of such a beautiful island.

Does everything you expect from a decent, but non-premium, hotel at a very reasonable rate. Room was plenty big enough, bathroom clean & modern (although tiny bath if you're bothered about that). Little bit noisy on account of traffic on adjoining main road, but this is a city hotel so that's not a major complaint.

Not a bad hotel- right in downtown Las Palmas, about a block from the beach with all of the restaurants and bars. Upside: Location- you walk out of the hotel and have the city right there. Downside: the bed. the 'queen' was actually two twin beds pushed together....

Great city hotel near everything

My wife and I are not into fancy 5 star hotels that have all the things we never use anyway. We vacation to see what's outside the hotel. This hotel was perfect. Right between the beach and harbor side (one block either way) and I could actually see both from the corner balcony we had. They have a great friendly staff and the room was big, clean, and modernized. Fairly quite street and and seconds from countless places to eat and drink. The harbor has a big commercial center and ferries to other islands so it was great to be near that. The hotel is right in the middle of beach side so you can walk in either direction along beach walkway to reach the end easier. We would return to this hotel again without a took to anything else. So happy to have stumbled upon it.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana all'hotel Pujol, molto vicino alla spiaggia e alle fermate dei bus. Tutto personale è stato molto disponibile e cordiale. La nostra camera aveva l'essenziale, non c'è l'aria condizionata bensì il ventilatore. Forniscono ogni giorno prodotti per l'igiene personale e sono dotati del servizio di lavanderia (c'è anche una lavanderia lì vicino più conveniente per poche quantitá). La reception è aperta 24h. Avevamo la colazione inclusa che è sempre la stessa ogni mattina: un menù fisso abbondante scelto da loro. Sono stati disponibili a abbondanteposticipare il check-out e a tenere sottochiave i nostri bagagli mentre facevamo un ultimo giro anche se la nostra permanenza era già conclusa. Consigliamo questa struttura a chi vuole risparmiare pur ottenendo un soggiorno piacevole e anche comodo perché vicino al centro e a due passi dalla fermata dei mezzi pubblici e dalla spiaggia.
