Fint rum i bra storlek. Vi hade två stora resväskor och hade ändå tillräckligt med utrymme. Sköna sängar och bra drag i luftkonditioneringen. Balkongen var lite smal men räckte till två och vi hade en fin vy mot stranden. Rent och fräscht och vi lånade strykjärn och strykbräda hela veckan.
Frukosten var över förväntan. Kändes som en enklare svensk frukost. Vi är väldigt nöjda!

Such a great hotel in an excellent location at the not so touristy end of the beach near the fishing boats. Ask for room 606 or 607 for one of the best views of one of the best city beaches in the world!Its 3 star but great!

Perus hyvä kolmen tähden hotelli. Mukavat maisemat parvekkeelta merelle ja hyvät sängyt.

Aamupala oli ihan hyvä, tuoreita kasviksia ja hedelmiä olisi voinut olla enemmän. Sama joululevy jossa oli ehkä kolme biisiä soi jatkuvasti joka ensin huvitti, mutta pidemmän päälle varmaan olisi rasittanut.

Huoneen kylppärissä haisi välillä hieman viemäriltä, mutta huone oli muuten siisti. Hintansa arvoinen hotelli!

Our best stay in las palmas

This hotel was a breath of fresh after having had bad experiences in the past it was impeccably clean ,king size bed was so comfortable and great shower ,the breakfast was the best we've had in last palmas ,staff very friendly great view of the beach which was a stones throw away ,will deffinately be back

Great place for best city beach

Great hotel in perfect location to enjoy the beach. Really good shower in the bathroom. Many options nearby for eating and drinking. Quiet during the night.
The hotels.com listing states there is a pool. There isn't one.
The rooftop bar of the hotel is lovely with very reasonable prices.

It’s 3 star! Reading some of the reviews you’d think people mistakenly thought they’d booked 6 star. It is a a lovely clean, friendly place to stay in a good location. Bed was huge, shower was very good. The only fault I could find was no kettle in the room. Highly recommend this hotel.

cleaning staff did not replace items when low

The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
The only issue I have is the cleaning staff never replaced the toilet paper, body wash or lotion when low/empty. I had to ask for them.Breakfast was good; had fruit and fresh croissants, etc.

Each of these issues lost them points. Sewer smell from bathroom drains. Glass door in bathroom let in light from window. Maids made an incredible racket. Stairs on side of bedroom walls are used by them. Plus they were always dragging who knows what on floors above me. All morning long. Noise from lobby pervaded other floors. No heat. Dank room. Charged for safe. Hot water not very hot. And the worst disappointment was they didnt do anything about my complaints though informed of them. On the positive side, the rooms were updated and sun terrace was nice. Shuttle is just them ordering you a taxi. It was cheaper than hailing a metered cab. Only one side of hotel has ocean views. So be careful if you book a balcony room. You may be looking at a building.

Strong sewage smell in the room. Tried opening the windows/glass doors, opening entry door, turned off a/c thinking it might be due to the a/c vent. No solution offered by the hotel/ desk to alleviate problem. Emailed the manager about this complaint and still no response for almost a week now.
One good thing, breakfast buffet is good with interesting food choices.

Very pleasant hotel,good location,we only stayed for two nights but enjoyed our stay.Breakfast was good,all you could ask for and replenished often.The roof terrace is really good,they serve tapas all evening,very well presented,staff are very helpful and pleasant,really can’t fault them!!
The only criticism we have are the pillows,only two on the bed and very skinny,we only managed to get one extra from reception.
We intend to return soon!!

Absolutely fantastic hotel!

Absolutely everything about the hotel is amazing, especially for the price. The ONLY problem my girlfriend and I had was the fact that the pillows were very low. Maybe it’s just us but we needed another pillow to make it higher but they had none. Other than that the hotel was perfect. The rooms are modern, fresh and clean. The bed is comfortable (we prefer a double but this is hard to find in Europe at a lot of hotels apparently). €1 per day beach towel hire and it is practically next to the beach. The location is perfect. There is also parking available at a local multi-storey car park about 3 mins walk from the hotel, the price is reduced for hotel customers but you must go to the hotel first to get the ticket. We loved this place and WILL return!

Do not accept a room with no balcony

Hotel is in decent shape in a very nice location. Could use a little TLC. However, never accept a room without a balcony - which translates you get a room with a tiny window to the air shaft. Very disappointing, we felt ripped off. Not even sure how they dare to rent out those rooms. Breakfast is good, they also have a terrific roof top bar. Certainly an ok choice - unless you are the unlucky one who ends up like us.

Just a quick trip away from Puerto Rico in the South for a great Hotel, great area, plenty of decent restaurants and plenty of bars to try. Not our first stay & not our last. Nothing will stop us staying again soon. Love it. :-)

Great location right next to the beach with lots of shops and great restaurants nearby. Spotless room kept to a high standard. I liked the modern contemporary feel to the room with lots of space. The wardrobes had a great great smell to them. Amazing shower just be careful you don’t slip, as the shower will leave the bathroom floor partly wet. Good selection of food for breakfast. Amazing views from roof terrace bar.

I enjoyed it... excellent location... right in the heart of the city... easy walking distance to restuarants etc... local buses around the corner. From airport, blue bus direct service 60 & 91 will take to the main bus terminal.. 1/2 mile away from hotel. U do stop at another terminal, confirm, as its the last stop.
Only grump was that we were never advised that the free bottled water was only for the first night and if you wanted refreshment you had to ask reception and they will charge you for any additional. No indication of prices advised in rooms. So one assumes .. other slight annoyance is clear glass windows from bathroom .. call me old fashioned but I like to do my stuff in private.
South of the island is where the Sun is (hot) .. but i preferred the overcast of the city.

Breakfast was OK, if busy on a couple of days and if you were late in the choice of items.
We booked a room with sea view and were not disappointed, fourth floor, views of beach and sunset great!!

We also walked down the coast to the old town in around an hour ( but bus also available).

This was a perfect option for anyone looking for an inexpensive, but friendly experience for their holiday! We were pleasantly surprised with the cleaning services, hotel concierge, and renovated rooftop terresse. The bartender made exceptional drinks and the rooftop had the best views of the beach by far! Almost better than being on the beach itself. The staff was very friendly and flexible to our needs. The cleaning services were always timely and made sure that we were out of the room before coming in. We will defintely be recommending this hotel to anyone who is interested in staying in Las Palmas. Good bang for your buck!

Just got back from a 5 night stay at the hotel - March 2018

Very pleased with the hotel choice - great location, right next to the beach, port, supermarket and restaurants, 10-15 min walk to Santa Catalina bus station which allows great access to the rest of the island plus 30 mins to the airport (Bus 60).

Very clean, tidy and modern hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast with a good choice of food and drinks.

All in all very impressed, would definitely stay at the hotel again if in Las Palmas.

Hotel location is very close to the beach area. Its very close to all restaurants, groceries, bus station and market. I cannot fault the hotel everything is perfect from staff, cleanliness of the room, variety of foods to choose on breakfast. All I can suggest is a kettle and some coffee or tea in the room as I like to have some hot drinks while chilling out.

Really good location and comfortable stay for Las Palmas. We had the sea view room which was nice to watch the people down below and look at the sea. The hotel is nearing the end of its renovation and and they have done a good job. One minor is how wet the bathroom floor gets after a shower!

We chose the hotel because of it's location near the beach, restaurants and shops in the newer part of Las Palmas. It's relatively easy to get around because the area is very flat and public transport is cheap and frequent. The airport is 30 mins away on the direct bus, the South of the island is about 60 mins on the quickest bus and the Old town about 10 mins on a local bus. At night the promenade and beach are lovely as are the squares in the older part of the town. It was rarely cool enough, even at night in Las Palmas to need more than a t-shirt.

Didn't get what we paid for

We had booked a sea view room, but the first room we were given did not have anything more than a peek at the sea. When we complained they said we couldn't change until our second night. They gave us one day of free breakfast as well. They claim they have removed the call out for sea view as they no longer guarantee anything more than a balcony so beware. Other than that the hotel was nice and clean and wifi was good. I posted photos of our first view and our second view, very different. Also beware that there is NO privacy in the bathroom as there is clear glass instead of wall between bedroom and bathroom and a glass door.

This hotel is very close to the beach and I’m lucky to have a room that has a view of the sea from my patio. The staff are very polite friendly and helpful. Room is clean and cozy. The Sun lounge on the 7th floor provides amazing view of La Playa de Las Canteras. Spar store just across the street and you are surrounded by restaurants cafes and gelato places. 10 minute walk to Santa Catalina Bus Exchange that has direct trips to airport to the south of the island to maspalomas playa ingles, Puerto Rico, puerto de mogan etc.
I will definitely be back!!!

Close to the beach!!!

Accessible and convenient. 10 minute walk from Santa Catalina Bus Exchange to the hotel. The Playa De La Canteras beach is a few meters and can be seen from the hotel patio. Staff are very friendly and hospitable. Spar is just outside the hotel. Many restaurants along the boardwalk.

Hotel is clean and comfortable.
I will stay again.

Decent hotel, good location, but unhelpful staff

This was a decent stay, however I found the staff to be very unhelpful with recommendations and general assistance to travelers. One morning around 0900 we were woken up by a very loud radio communication by the cleaning lady. We told her it was really loud and she still kept the radio very loud. We were unable to sleep. Also one day I asked to use a spoon so I could eat a yogurt, they said no. I had to go to a market to buy a spoon! The staff also were not very helpful with recommending things to do or places to eat. The interior of the hotel was nice, and nicely designed

Perfect location but a few small quibbles

Hotel is in a good location with beautiful sea views from the balcony. It's also got a perfect little terrace area where you can enjoy the sunshine if you don't fancy venturing to the busy beach.

We arrived at the hotel quite late and we're given our room keys. When we walked into the room we found someone else's flip flops and bag on the floor! We went back to reception and the man said he'd look into it - I think he thought one of his colleagues gave the wrong room keys out.

We went out for some dinner as we were starving and a little fed up of waiting for some new room keys - the hotel appeared to be fully booked. When we returned we were then given keys to a new room. The room was rather hot, there was an air con switch but it didn't work. There was a large glass window in the room looking directly into the shower, you can also see the toilet and sink through the window - complete lack of privacy and a little inappropriate! There was also a letter on the bed welcoming another guest to the room, a little confusing.

We went down to reception with the letter, the receptionist took it off us and pretended to eat it! He said it didn't matter. We queried the air con but was told that it's currently being installed and to open the door onto the balcony.

The hotel itself is nice and very reasonably priced. It was clean and tidy, I think we were perhaps just a little unlucky with our experience. I would go back again - if I could have a room with a more private bathroom!

Nice hotel close to beach

We had a double interior room for 3 days. The hotel and the rooms look newly refurbished. The beds were comfy, we had a big TV and it was very quiet at night. The bathroom was clean and also newly refurbished although we have to deduct some points for the ceiling not being finished (not painted), a weird window between the room and the bathroom and that the bathroom door was designed not to close completely. The staff was super friendly and helpful, they also spoke English. Only point of critique is that there was some early door banging in the mornings around 8am from the office next to our room. We did not try their breakfast but instead went to a cafe on the beach which was cheaper.

Hotel is situated just right off the mai beach promenade and thus close to the bars, restaurant and shops. We were checked in earlier thanks to helpful receptionist , who went out of his way to find available room as ours wasnt ready then yet (tall gentleman). All staff very polite and courtous, we asked another lady at the reception the about HORCHATA and she immedieately googled place where we could order it. Hotel has been recently refurbished to a modern standard , inspired and themed by Aloe plant. Room is spacious with very comfy bed, nice bathroom with quirky window into the bedroom - a simple (aloe colored) curtain would improve some privacy :) Beside that tiny detail, all was great, weather food, Las Palmas is fantastic escape from winter in UK!

Nicely done up, amazing stuff

The location of the hotel is very good at the beach of canteras just a few meters away, and with lots of rooms with a side-view to the sea and the beach promenade. Also I heard about that there are rooms to the patio, which aren't great. We really enjoyed the view from our room (307) and the sunny balcony. The hotel has been recently renovated, and normally we wouldn't have thought about to stay here, because of the previous rather poor feedback's. But we booked last minute and gave it a shot. And to our surprise: They did a very good job and we had a great time, with amazing friendly staff and a fresh contemporary designed hotel room for a reasonable price in a prime location. A small disappointment was so, that the roof terrace and the restaurant still where closed for renovation, and that the AC didn't worked yet. Which made the nights very warm, also we got a fan. There are plenty of restaurants and two supermarkets very close available, which is very nice. I would recommend a room a bit higher up, as it can be quite noisy from the road, which is a pedestrian area, but with restaurants, and delivery traffic, plus very noisy street cleanup cars. Unfortunately it can be also quite noisy from your neighbour above, as the sonic travels vey well, when they move a chair or the single beds, which are normally together, but unfortunately move to easy. Maybe the hotel can fix this by attaching them together and puting some material below the chair legs. The free Wifi was in the

The hotel has recently been refurbished so the rooms are in great condition but unfortunately the cleaning staff do a half-hearted job of cleaning the rooms during your stay. The hotel also doesn't allow you to have visitors (which isn't advertised anywhere on their site) and I found this rather bizarre considering I was paying for a double room.

Great small hotel very close to local facilities.

Nice small modern and clean hotel. The rooms have been modernised to a high standard and are bright and fresh looking. Staff at the hotel were very helpful.

There was some further alterations work going on in the hotel, which did commence in the morning and could be heard in the bedroom but it did not spoil our stay too much.

Please remember this is a small hotel and not a large 5 star hotel with all the associated facilities. For the money it was overall good value.

Small and uncomfortable room, where you can either stand or lie down. Partial sea view can be enjoyed from the balcony which it's totally empty, so with only one plastic chair available in the room, one person can have a privilege to seat in it like a monarch, the rest should seat on the floor. Hotel is under construction with cement dust on the floor and terrible drilling noise starting from early morning. It is hard to sleep in the night because room is too hot, and in the morning they start drilling. We could not get any rest on that holidays and left tired.
The hotel kind of lied to all customers that it was under construction and not finished yet. One staff member told me that I don't need an air con, because he personally doesn't feel hot himself. He also said that we are lucky to have a working elevator at least. They maybe will finish construction one day, but that chicky, rude and impudent attitude will remain. So it is best to stay in other similar hotels where staff want their guests to come back one day.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this budget hotel. It is ideally situated near the beach in Las Palmas with plenty of bars, restuarants close by. The hotel itself is small and clean and you can purchase a breakfast each day, which includes a new hot option, which is cheaper than bars close by providing the same option. Rooms facing the beach have great views. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Can be a bit noisy outside at times, however it is in near proximity to bars which do not normally close till1am.

perfect positioned balcony.The hotel couldn't have giving me better.The Canteras yellow beachThe mountains wow what a scene.The receptionist crew were very helpful nothing was a bother and they were able to answer any questions I give to them.The breakfast was buffet with plenty.of variations to choose from all beautifully fresh.The walkways surrounding Aloe are contemporary and kept very clean.Plenty of varied shops .Free Wifi.I had a very good holiday feeling safe

Umulig ¨å ha en stille og rolig frokost på grunn av massiv støy fra kjøkkenert. Frokosten i seg selv var ok uten å skinne kunne kjøpt billigere og like bra fra enhver snackbar restaurant i området.. Kaffen fra kaffemaskinen var elendig. Kjøpte heller kaffe fra en av gatebarene rett utenfor hotellinngangen. Var oppe på takbaren i 8 etg. 2 ganger, det var 2 ganger for mye, fant den å være rett og slett ukoselig.

Das Hotel ist direkt in Strandnähe, Viele Geschäfte Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichlich mit Wurst, Käse, Eier, Speck, Gemüse warm und kalt, Obst, Kuchen und Kekse und vieles mehr. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und neu eingerichtet. Eine klare Empfehlung

Das Hotel ist schön, die Zimmer wirken noch neu und das Person ist super. Sauberkeit und Frühstück top. Tolle Aussicht von der Dachterasse.

Leider war es bei unserem interior Zimmer sehr laut, die Fenster haben gefühlt keine Schallisolierung so das man jedes Wort und lachen der anderen Hotel Bewohner hört, das Bad ist auch nur durch eine Glastür abgetrennt und man hört das Wasser rauschen wenn über einem jemand auf Toilette war. Am besten ein Zimmer in den oberen Etagen anfragen dann sollte alles perfekt sein

Sehr saubere Zimmer, das Bett war sehr gut. Personal war sehr freundlich. Sehr gute Frühstück. Das Hotel liegt sehr gut, in der Strandnähe und auch nah an den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Wir haben zu zweit unsere Aufhentalt für ein paar Tage sehr genossen.

We like the location of the beach ( we come every year to Las Palmas) and we were looking for a good price hotel in that area therefore we booked hotel Aloe Canteras this year. Unfortunately we had regret about it. The sound from the side street, leakage from the shower to the whole bathroom, holes on the sheets,not cleaned bed sheets after a week stay and missing personal item in hotel room. As frequent travellers for 25 years, we have never missed any item till now! And they did not even show interest about it.
Next time we will definitely book another hotel (our older hotel) which was more expensive but definitely worth it!
