Don’t go to the spa. They don’t know what they’re doing. I went for a massage and she cracked my back like a chiropractor. I told my chiropractor and he said she could’ve damaged my back because she’s not trained to do that. The spa is overpriced and you feel like you’re on a time clock to rush out of there.

The pool was large, never enough staff at the swim up bar and pool area to get drinks. No quick outdoor food around the pool area. Bar staff not friendly. The beach area very rocky hard to get in the water with out water shoes. Hotel room was dirty when we arrived. We purchased a King bed and received two Queens. The staff at check in were not helpful said it was not guaranteed. Most of the restaurants and entertainment was on the family side. We did not know this before. We wanted adults only. We will not go here again.

I recently stayed at Ocean Eden Bay in Jamaica and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Money was stolen from the in-room safe. What I later discovered—after the fact—was that the safe was malfunctioning. Although it displayed “locked,” the internal rods were not engaging. If you simply pulled on the door, it would open right up. I found this out the hard way.

I contacted customer service, and they sent two security personnel and a technician to my room. The first staff member was unable to fix the safe, so they had to call someone else. While this was happening, I felt like I was being interrogated about the missing money. I was asked to account for every dollar I had spent, which felt inappropriate and uncomfortable.

To make matters worse, two staff members put on gloves and went through all of my personal belongings in the room, allegedly looking for the missing money. Watching them repair the safe confirmed the issue—the locking mechanism was not functioning properly even though the display indicated it was locked.

When I spoke with a manager before leaving, I was told there was “no proof” the money was stolen because there were no signs of forced entry. I explained that if the safe was broken and not actually locking, there would be no signs of forced entry. When I asked about the security report and the fact that staff had to repair the safe, my concerns were dismissed.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that guests double-check their

Unfortunately we had a bad experience here. Not knowing anything about “Privilege”, made our stay feel super segregated. Couple that with service staff that look bothered when you order food or drinks and it just feels weird. Very few activities planned, and when they do plan then it was rarely executed on unless it was water aerobics. The facility was nice and the Privileged side of the beach was nice.

Beautiful resort and perfect the solo bdy trip I took! Get the privilege room package- so worth it! You get a butler assigned to you at check in to take you to your room on a golf cart and help with your needs and questions throughout your stay from 9:30-6pm. Also special areas you have access to on the beach and pool area (Millicent is an amazing employee serving drinks and food on the pool deck) and a place to eat daily that is close to the beach. I loved to snag a beach chair in the privilege area watching the sunrise each morning and then eating breakfast at the privilege restaurant a few steps away. The best places to eat dinner for me was the steakhouse, sakura and captains market. I didn't like route 66. I can't wait to come back!

We recently returned from our first trip to Jamaica. Ocean Eden is a beautiful resort and the staff was pleasant upon our arrival. Our room key was a bracelet with a little fob that we wore for the entire stay - great for someone like me who constantly loses the key card at hotels. The bracelet also served as the way to lock/unlock the safe in the room. The room itself was very clean and spacious; I loved the fact that it faced the entire property: the ocean to the left, the pool in the middle, and the hills to the right. the housekeeping team did an excellent job with daily service. The room was always clean and the bed made up perfectly. The team restocking the minibar daily was also great (the plantation chips are so good) and made sure that we had enough bottled water to drink each day.
The Marlin was our most frequented restaurant (I was in love with the octopus cocktail) and we went to the Captain’s Market for the buffet often (so many options!)
I liked the fact that we could walk over next door to kid-friendly Ocean Coral (but Coral could not visit us in Ocean Eden) and experience the food options on that side. Route 66 had great milkshakes while my partner had amazing oxtail and Jamaican jerk at Sugar Cane.
There were also snack bars near the beach and the pool. Both the beach and pool were relaxing but we noticed that the beach chairs filled up quickly in the morning while there was more availability at the pool. I also liked the vibe at the pool with the music.

My room was spotless clean and fresh and right by the ocean. The staff was courteous and friendly. The Jamaican option for food was excellent, and the ice cream. The market cafe staff was very friendly and provided good service. The drinks were always good, and the young lady that played the piano in the lobby was the highlight of the evening. The entertainment staff was good and friendly. The best part of my stay was my massage at the spa with Sherieka, she did a excellent job! All the ladies at the spa did a excellent job!

Overall, the resort was great — the room, food, entertainment, location and customer service were all excellent. The only negatives were that the hot tub wasn’t working. It was ice cold, and there wasn’t a sign posted to let guests know it was out of order. Another downside was the check-in process, which took over an hour. The process could definitely be faster and smoother.

The last negative was the aggressive push to sell timeshares. Hotels should be upfront about their intentions because offering a free breakfast and a gift bag should not be used as a way to pressure or mislead guests into purchasing a timeshare. Transparency would greatly improve the guest experience.

But i would definitely return to this resort.

There were no activities included in the package deal other than bowling, and 4 of the 6 bowling lanes were broken. I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. We got shorted 1 day and we had to pay for the day we weren’t there due to our first flight getting delayed. Certain parts of the beach were not included unless you paid for privilege. The whole experience was a disappointment.

We booked 7 days of wasted money!This was also our Honeymoon trip!!First day upon arrival we were given a room that we couldn't gain access to. We were locked out!! Someone from staff let us in and didn't attend us until the next day so we were stuck in a room all day. No sun and the 2 drinks we were allowed from our mini bar. Room service options were limited because we were only 2 people in the room. We weren't allowed full menu. Second day same issues with the door. Stuck in the room the entire day waiting for maintenance to fix the issue. Another day wasted!!Third day the same situation with the door and waited again for the problem to be resolved after walking more than 6 times to the front desk complaining. Third day the problem was resolved and after finally fixing the problem the staff changed our room to another room. Smh. So after they changed our room now the new rooms door doesn't lock at all and anyone could enter our room if they wanted too. Stuck in our room again!Once again we were put in the same position. No menu and no drinks and now full access to our room and anyone could gain access as well.
Guess what!! Another room change!
Fourth day new room and new adventure.
THE SEWER ODOR!What else could go wrong!Once again stuck in our room waiting on maintenance. This time we just had enough. We couldn't leave our room so we were ordering bottle service and weren't even allowed to order soda with it. Never Again

The staff are friend but the service was not consistent. I upgraded to he privilege membership it’s $80 a night but I felt worth it. It gives you things like faster towel service, premium liquor, and access to the lounge where you can get great breakfast. The food was incredible but disappointed with the beach because it was rocky wasn’t comfortable to get in. The pool is beautiful and the rooms were nice. I stayed at the adult side Ocean Eden but next door was the family resort and I would see kids walking on my side. Would I stay here again probably not. The resort is also 40 minutes away from airport. I prefer something closer.

The room was clean some patching on the walls some tiles cracked or broken the room felt a bit muggy the first night and the thermostat was not able to be adjusted. I booked a king bed but that ended up not being available so we settled for a 2 queen beds instead. Breakfast staff will ask if you want coffee or tea but always forgot. Always out of mint for the mojitos. The beach portion has a lot of huge rocks its limits you on where you can swim. The entertainment staff was great I especially enjoyed Billy, Kitty, Adrian, Lee and best of all Kyash was great. Always high energy and positive vibes. The door man Ackeem was awesome. Even set up my door with a big happy birthday sign to make sure I felt special and I wish I remembered the other gentleman that greeted us upon arrival he welcomes us with birthday shots and started the celebration off right. Amazing staff just needs a little tune up when it comes to details but overall great stay!

The room was spacious and the staff was very friendly. However the bed was beyond stiff. One of the hardest mattresses I have ever slept on. Overall the food was good but not the best I have had compared to other resorts and there were no options for lunch by the pool area (unless sitting by the kids water park on the opposite side of the resort) and the lunch buffet was absolutely terrible. Dinner food was good but it was difficult to get reservations to the two \"reservation only\" places unless you paid extra to be in the \"privelege\" club and that was not disclosed when making the initial reservation. The only spots ever left for reservation were 9:00. The highlight for food, since we never got to eat at the italian spot, was the breakfast buffet and the hibachi dinner. Hibachi was excellent and Chef Dwayne was very entertaining and quite the singer!

The resort was very nice, rooms clean and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and Kash and Billy from the activities group kept us entertained the entire trip. Candice and Antonnette went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They made the best cocktails and served each one with a smile. If you go to Ocean Eden Bay look these two up. The resort food was definitely better than other resorts we have been in the past. The only complaint we have was the hot tub was ice cold the enire time. We ate at several restaurants along with the buffet. Even with the island still recovering from a recent hurricane, this resort was fully functional and no apparent damage!

The room I reserved wasn't what they gave me. They told me that it would be available the next morning and I wasn't move into the room until I complained to manager and it was after 5pm. I had upgraded to premium and didn't use the butler service until the day I was leaving I texted early 8am to let them know that I needed my bags picked up from my room at 11:30am because my airport transfer was coming. It was after 12:00pm and my bags were not picked up and my airport transfer was waiting on me. So no my experience with the staff wasn't at all great, I spent most of my vacation days complaining and trying to get things corrected.

I highly recommend booking with Ocean Eden Bay. From the beauty of the resort to the friendly staff this place exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing and the drinks were flowing. If you’re looking to have a good time in Jamaica and see the beauty of the island this is your place.

Also, make sure you shop local on the beach with the locals. The resort will encourage you not to but I promise my favorite experience was shopping with them and hearing their stories. The items they offered were so unique and hand crafted. You’ll never find anything so special in the gift shops, so shop local!!

Let's start with our transport. It was offered with our booking of Ocean's Eden Bay. We got off the flight and were so excited to be immediately met with incredibly rude staff with Destination services. Im not talking a little rude, like ruin tour trip rude. Then we get to Ocean Eden Bay. We are immediately trying to be sold to for their privelege package, and their time share. I am here to relax. Not try to navigate who genuinely wants to talk to us vs sell us. Get to the room and its in decent shape but spent more for an ocean view. Looking out our room is the pool. You have to crane your neck out to see ocean which you can do at pretty much any room. Why pay more. Everything felt like a money grab. We payed for excursions through Ashley at the tour desk in lobby. She was nice but we payed for the luminous lagoon, 100 for two. They kept us trapped at a restaurant for far too long so wed pay for stuff. It was so cold the bioluminescent barely showed. They shouldnt have booked this knowing the temps and that we would not see anything. We also booked a 4 pack. They cancelled the catamaran. We came back to desk to get that refunded and someone else from the company tried to say the catamaran was complimentary. No it definitely wasnt. That felt scammy. I still have yet to receive refund. Just wasnt as pleasant of vacation as previous all inclusives. The resort also felt dated.

This review is not a reflection of the amazing staff, but of corporate decisions. Everyone I encountered was incredibly kind and welcoming.

This is not a true adults-only resort. While there is an adults-only section, it is separated from the family side only by a lazy river. My room backed up to it, so I heard kids all day. All restaurants and shops are on the family side, so you will be dining around children. I love kids, but I choose adults-only resorts for a reason.

I booked an oceanfront king suite but was placed in a pool-view room with two queens, visible mold in the bathroom, and construction above my room. I was told I’d be moved, but the new room was given away while I was on an excursion, leaving me to deal with construction noise for two days.

I notified the resort ahead of time that I was celebrating my birthday, but there was no acknowledgment upon arrival. Security was also uncomfortable when returning with a guest, despite having a pass.

The manager later apologized and ensured I received birthday treats before departure, which I appreciated. The staff truly shines—special thanks to Ms. Donna, Millicent, Mr. Heath, and the singer at the steakhouse.

Great resort for families or reunions. If you want a true adults-only 5-star experience, I recommend Excellence Oyster Bay.

Loved my stay here! I was a bit apprehensive due to mixed reviews on here and other sites. The staff was very friendly and the entertainment crew was phenomenal they get very personal with you meaning they recognize who you are. Food was good except the Route 66 late-night restaurant I tried it twice it's a no for me. The steakhouse and hibachi were the best 🌟

I was there to celebrate New Year 2026 with my friend, marking my first visit to both the resort and Jamaica. While the location and the resort are absolutely amazing, the management's handling of the place is beyond my imagination.

1. Room Service: 6/10. You won't be able to get extra towels if needed, and the cosmetic products provided are of low quality. Ladies, bring your own shampoo, conditioner, etc.

2. Check-In: Our check-in was delayed by three hours. When we asked one staff member, they disappeared, and asking another yielded the same result.

3. Food and Beverage: The options are limited. If you’re a foodie, this resort is not for you.

4. Entertainment: It was nearly nonexistent. They offer many activities, but you won’t find anyone available to participate.

5. Beach and Pool: The area is beautiful, but there weren’t enough chairs for guests! People woke up at 5 AM to secure a spot on the beach before breakfast because there was no chance of finding a seat later. There was a significant issue with management regarding this, which ruined the vacation atmosphere. After a confrontation with the main manager, they added more chairs on the third day, but it was still insufficient!

Overall, I would rate my experience a 4/10. I would never return to this place again. Guests were so disappointed that many didn't leave gratuities for the staff.

The quiet atmosphere. The rooms were gorgeous. I've never seen rooms in this luxury looking. Very impressive. I've stayed at far more expensive resorts and never seen rooms like these. The balcony with the bird cage swing. Entertainment staff was good. It was a lively environment but not too party. The restaurant choices are great. It's a family resort one side and adult other side and they do a good job at keeping it separate. It's a hidden gem. Nice beach. I will definitely go back .. As long as they don't raise the rates too high lol.

The room was in good condition, could definitely use some heavier cleaning and restoration. The balcony windows were very dirty. The shower water pressure was not good enough to take an adequate shower. Maintenance came up and said they would replace the shower head, but that was never done. The drinks were also disappointing at certain locations. Asked for a strawberry daquiri and was given a plastic cup with rum poured directly on top and not mixed. That was typical throughout the property. Cabana's were nice as well, but could also use better cleaning.

I like the adult side being isolated from the family side. Usually resorts like this don't keep it separate. Eating choices are great. Romantic atmosphere all around. A nice beach area. Lazy river was nice too. Rooms were probably the best ever. Will stay again. Only about a 30 minute ride from airport.

The room was quite clean and very comfortable bed. I slept very well during my stay. Despite overlooking the pool which had noisy activities at times, once the doors were closed the noise was not overbearing. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Big up to Billy, Kaci, Kyash, Moesha, Michael and so many more I can't remember at the moment. This was my first time at the Eden Bay section of the resort and it didn't disappoint. I got the rest and relaxation I desired for my birthday getaway.

We stayed for 8 days 7 nights and it was great! The room was nice and beautiful and the staff was helpful and very nice. The Ocean was beautiful and the beach is nice and kept up. The entertainment team was amazing! Kash, Adrian, Bobby, and the lovely Kiki! We didn’t want to leave we will definitely be back! The drinks were very good at all the bars and a lot of restaurants to choose from.

The resort is beautiful the rooms are spacious, love the balcony and the egg chair and very well maintained
Air conditioning is very cold
Staff and food excellent best buffet we’ve had and we’ve been to many resorts in Jamaica over the years
Loved the pool, beach is small but very nice although not enough chairs I believe they are working on fixing the ones that got destroyed in the hurricane
Great entertainment throughout both properties
Restaurants are okay the steak house is by far the best. Did not enjoy the French and Route 66 was disappointing
Sports bar had delicious drinks and played all sports on their multiple TV’s we enjoyed watching our hockey games there
The Coral Springs had a great little waterpark and lazy river that I’m sure children enjoy
Heads up that the stores on property are not affiliated with the resort and we had our card comprised. Security was good though and did a thorough follow up and took down our events of what happened. This can be avoided if the stores were resort stores and purchases can be billed to your room like many other resorts do
The only major issue I have with the resort and the reason we didn’t give it a full 5 stars is the smoking. We are non smokers and it is our holiday as well. So when people are allowed to smoke everywhere on property except restaurants and rooms it makes it difficult to find a spot at the pool/beach where someone is potentially going to light up a cigarette or cigar right beside you
