I booked apartment number A012. it's very clean. some cosmetics need to be made to make long stays more comfortable such as: TV satellite needs to be adjusted to have more channels, Netflix membership would be an added value. Mattress needs to be changed

This was my 3rd time booking an apartment at the Embassy Gardens. I have to say, this time I am a bit disappointed:
1- Check-in takes way too long!! Whoever was supposed to welcome us and show us to our apartment came after a 30 minutes wait.
2-Once inside the apartment, although it seemed clean, there was a constant moldy smell. The ceiling throughout the apartment had small mold stains, suggesting there had been water damaged from the apartment above in the past. That’s a problem.
3-The receptionist registered the wrong apartment number under my name, which caused my car to systematically be unable to access the underground parking.
I expected more professionalism for the price I paid.

Our biggest challenge was communication. For example, free breakfast was part of the packaged. They did not explain it’s not free breakfast at the cafe onsite. You need to order it and it’s brought on site. That was not explained. The room was adequate but showing wear and tear. We had to beg for towels and soap. We never got the soap and had to purchase on our own. That also includes toilet paper. Our host was supposed to resolve these challenges and he did not.

Giving this place 2.5-3 stars. While the staff is nice, the gym is decent, and the building is located in a nice area near the embassies, this is not a luxury apartment. This place purports itself to be like a hotel, but it is not. This place is an apartment complex where locals live, and vacant apartments are filled by tourists. Our bathroom lighting was poor with no light over the actual shower. There were no soap dishes or shelves in the shower in which to hold soap, shampoo, etc. There’s only one towel rack in the bathroom, and the hot water tank must be small because I only had hot water for the first short part of my shower and after that it was just warm. Housekeeping neglected to take out our trash one day, which was overflowing. This place does not supply fresh towels daily like at a hotel, nor does it provide hand towels. It also does not replace the toilet paper daily like at a hotel. When my husband and I first arrived to our apartment, we noticed the lock to the sliding glass door to our balcony was broken and immediately reported it. Someone came up to investigate. They told us it would be repaired. The lock was never fixed. On a couple of occasions our breakfast from the complex’s restaurant was late being delivered, which isn’t great when you have scheduled it to be delivered at a certain time based on the time you’re leaving for an excursion. There was also this horrible fragrance/scent that was pumped into the hallway where our apartment was. Stay elsewhere

I have stayed at Embassy Gardens several times in the past and have always appreciated certain aspects of the property. The location is excellent, the grounds are well-maintained with three pools, the restaurant serves good food, and the gym is convenient. These amenities have made previous stays enjoyable.
Unfortunately, my most recent experience was deeply disappointing. Due to an accidental cancellation, I was charged the full amount of my stay. When I arrived, I asked if my booking could be reinstated or if I could receive a refund to rebook, but the staff were unwilling to offer any flexibility. As a loyal customer who genuinely wanted to honour my stay, losing the entire amount felt unfair and left me with no choice but to reconsider future visits.
While I acknowledge that the cancellation was my mistake, I believe that a certain level of understanding and accommodation should be extended to returning guests. The lack of flexibility has overshadowed the positives, and I cannot in good conscience recommend Accra Luxury Apartments at this time. If you are considering staying in this complex, I would suggest exploring one of the other providers who manage apartments here.

The bedsheets however were threaded, which makes for an uncomfortable experience. One expects that when one is paying a whole lot of money, there is some tea / coffee which is made available. Do not choose the breakfast option because choices are limited and the breakfast is not that great in terms of taste. The advantage however is that the breakfast is delivered to your room which is quite perfect.

For someone who has noise issues, this was terrible especially when I was writing or sleeping. In addition, there was drilling work happening through 11 am to 2 pm. I complained about it and while they apologized, it did not stop until I presume the work was finished. I realise that these things happen but it was a bummer especially because I was there for a staycation, and I needed to catch up on my sleep, rest and recuperate.

This was a g great alternative to staying at a hotel! The bedroom area was upstairs, which kind of surprised me. The downstairs area was the living space with the kitchen and all the appliances. The pools were beautiful, and the grounds were kept up very well. The Elm Cafe (restaurant onsite) was great and had fantastic service. Housekeeping would come every day if you wanted them to. Staff was very accommodating!

We stayed for two weeks at the Luxury Apartments. Our initial one‑bedroom ground‑floor unit had a few issues, including a noise nuisance. We raised this with Medrick, who promptly moved us to a duplex with a pool view—a huge improvement. The complex is modern and well kept, and Medrick’s service was excellent. Notes for future guests: if breakfast shows as included, it doesn’t automatically cover the on‑site restaurant; there’s a 150 GHS per‑person allowance and anything above that is payable. Towels are limited to one per person with no extra hand or pool towels. Minor quibbles overall—we’d happily return.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The place was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed - a microwave, stove and even a washer/dryer, which made our stay extra convenient. Check-in was quick and easy and the staff were all friendly.

There was some issues with the room. The wire cover for the tv was coming off the wall. The bathroom drawer was visibly broken. The sink cabinet was coming off the wall. There is only 2 small toiletries shower gel and shampoo. They does not have wash cloth. I had to use a dry towel to wash up with. The apartment was spot painted, you can visibly see were they painted different areas of the apartment. The glass table that was in the apartment was dirty. Richard took me to my room, whom seen the issues but didn't try to fix them. I was not even offended another room nor was i upgraded due to me being VIP. Linda staff was a good host. She reached out every day to make sure things was ok and what i wanted for breakfast. I needed an adapter to plug up my phone, Richard stated there was none due to guess having them. He didnt even try to address that issue nor did he address the things of the room. Linda reached out and was able to find an adapter for me to use. I address the room condition to Linda and no one suggest to even try to move me to another room. Also, the property was advertised differently from what it actually is. The view from the apartment was the back of a building. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

There is good value for money here, however we would not stay again. When we arrived we let the airport transfer person we were there. They arrived while we were still waiting for bags. Then they left because they said people were waiting at apartments for them. This meant we were stood outside the airport waiting for them for 40 minutes. They messaged and asked us to move to departures to make it easier for them to collect us, so off we went to departures with our bags. We arrived at the apartments, and were told to wait for our host. Host checked us into the room, and gave us some information however did not tell us where the free breakfast was that was listed in the booking. The bed was comfortable however the bedding had stains on it, they were not fresh stains and you could see they had been washed but still, it’s not nice to have stained bedding. Some of the apartment was a bit dated in areas. We asked for a transfer back to the airport the next day as we were travelling on to another country, but transfer was not available so we got a taxi. We were going back to Ghana in two weeks and had this place booked again but we cancelled it, and booked a hotel instead.

Everything is absolutely heaven in this place! I was skeptical thinking the images on the website were photoshopped, BUT it's even better in person.
As a precaution when I travel, I always split my hotel bookings over separate bookings, allowing me to cancel without a fee. Our stay at the apartments was great! We were in Ghana for a wedding and it was nice to be staying where other guests were but still have our own space. We also enjoyed having a restaurant and pools onsite. The apartment had most amenities we needed, however we asked for a blow dryer and bathmats for each shower and never received a blow dryer and only had one bath mat throughout our stay. Overall, however, it was a fantastic visit and we would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area!

The building reception staff aren’t friendly at all. Cleaners will knock for 15-20mins even when you say No thank you. Close to the airport. Uber/Bolt very reasonable.

The flat was very clean and tidy. Oko was very helpful with anything I needed. My only complaint would be the lack of information about what to do with the key when you leave. It should also be noted that there was no coffee maker in the room. I also didn't know when I ordered the continental breakfast(which was not as you'd imagine for a continental breakfast) that there's a café in the hotel which I would have chosen to use had I known.
