Very clean room, staff were polite, friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was quite good, but the full english selection was missing sausages, beans and tomatoes.
As mentioned before, the glass-walled toilet and shower room was just unpleasant snd rather creepy.

Clean, bright, smelled fresh, windows could open, neat bicycle theme, great shower and bed, nice big desk, in-room coffee, downstairs was wonderful food, bar and gym with sauna on site, crowded free parking lot, next to park for walking, front desk staff was sufficient and courteous, free wifi worked fine, dining and lobby decorated for yuletide season. I will return and bring cycling friends!

This hotel was excellent. 10min drive into the centre of Brugge - 30 min walk (which we did) or 15 mins on a bicycle. Bicycle hire available from the hotel reception. Taxi’s to the centre are all organised via hotel reception and collect you from right outside the door.
Rooms are very clean, bicycle themed and well designed.
The resturant was really good, staff very friendly and attentive, our meals were exceptional and good value for money.
We really liked this hotel and hope you will too!!!!!

Lovely modern hotel with excellent staff. Rooms were very sound proof, didn’t hear a thing at night. Quite a way out from town for a walk but part of that was due to the nearest bridge being closed. A bus into Bruges stopped nearby.

I really like this concept of being on the outskirts of town but with bike rentals! It worked out perfectly for me and the bike I rented was 15 euro for a full day and it was nicely equipped. Breakfast was good and the room was comfortable, would stay here again!

Very enjoyable stay in Bruges - hotel about a 20 min walk into the centre. Parking easy and plentiful. Hotel staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast adequate. Rooms comfortable but would have appreciated a kettle in the room to make tea and also a mirror (only one was in the bathroom)

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel, really comfy beds and a wonderful breakfast! Only issue is the walls are quite thin and we could hear a lot of noise in the hallway and from the room next door (even a phone vibrating everytime the occupants got a message)
Hotel was within walking distance of the city centre (around 40 minutes) but there are plenty of taxis. You can even rent a bicycle from the hotel.

Great staff, fantastic service. We informed them about travelling with a baby, and they promptly set a baby cot in the room ready for us at check in.
Brilliant location, conveniently located at a quiet locality just north of Bruges and next to a supermarket - 13 mins drive from Biekorf car park. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Hotel in Bruges

Excellent quiet hotel to stay at in Bruges. It’s a 10-12 minute drive from the historic downtown and the hotel offers Taxi vouchers for a flat rate of €12. The front desk staff are incredible. They gave us a map of the town, explained all the different ways to get there, and even circled the poor “tourist trap” restaurants and said to avoid them. The gym has some weight machines and a treadmill but it is only for walking, it doesn’t go fast enough to run. However there is a great running trail around the hotel of around 1KM. We ordered tapas menu from the restaurant and it was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

Food at dinner needs to be improved a lot. Not acceptable for a four hotel star.

Internet was terrible. Lower than 20gbs! And some areas, like in the gym, there was no internet.

This was an excellent hotel with very nice personnel. The rooms were clean and we had a nice view. We rented bikes and rode them into the City, and it was spectacular. I had a few questions for the hotel before we arrived, and they were very responsive!

Staff were really helpful and allowed us to check in early because the room was available. They gave us a map of the local area and pointed us in the direction of local attractions at the time (Christmas market).
Room was exactly as advertised, clean and with all the amenities needed.
My only small issue was that the room was a little chilly in the morning, but it was very cold outside. The thermostat didn’t seem to help.
Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this property and would stay again!

Lovely 2 night stay.

Lovely hotel in a peaceful area with very helpful friendly staff especially in the bar area and reception.
Great selection of breakfast items to choose from.
Easy to navigate into the heart of Brugge on foot if you allow 20-30 minutes.
We walked everywhere and it is easily achieved. We would stay here again if we revisit Bruges.

Hotel was easy to find by car and had ample parking. Room was a good size and bed was extremely comfortable.
Found clothes rail very high and difficult to reach and TV volume very low even at max.
Outside area rather uninspiring and bus stop was wasn’t very near.

The location was perfect for getting into and around Bruges. Plenty of parking for larger vehicles as well. All the staff were friendly and extremely good at their jobs. Hotel was clean and the rooms were a good size. We didn’t eat in the hotel but the food looked good.

A really nice place to stay.

A lovely place to stay. From check in to out, a warm team were available. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Room very clean and comfortable. No noise from other rooms or outside. We dined and the food was very good and reasonable. The dining team were also friendly and efficient. The exterior of hotel was very pleasant. We would love to stay again and would recommend to others. It is a little out of centre but a 30min walk or short taxi ride but this should not hinder anyone to book. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A hotel close enough to go into the city centre very quickly, yet far enough to experience tranquillity of the suburban area.
Free parking is a perfect bonus for us too!
We did not try out the dinner or breakfast, so couldn't comment on them, but all the staff we met there were very nice.
Well done, and there will be doubt we'll be staying at this hotel in the future, whenever we come visit Bruges again.

Perfect for visiting Brugge

Velotel is the perfect hotel for visiting Brugge and surroundings, especially by bicycle. Bike storage widely available, including charging point for e-bikes. Super friendly and helpful staff, tasty food at the restaurant. Rooms are equipped with clever details and have excellent showers. Would definitely stay here again!

Great, modern hotel. Great value. Location is a little far out from Bruges and difficult to reach by public transport (buses every 20 minutes with 10 minute walk). Staff are super friendly and helpful. Bathroom has glass walls with curtains for privacy, which takes some getting used to.

Easy access to the best of Brugge

Only stayed for 1 night to see Bruges. Absolutely lovely hotel, nice easy walk to the centre. Cannot recommend the staff enough. Especially Benoit who checked us in provided us with a map, explained the walk in to the centre, and informed which sites to see and where they could be found. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area, and highly recommend to anybody wishing to visit the area. You can even hire a bike there if cycling is your thing.

Great hotel, just outside the city centre. Staff and the service provided were both excellent. Very clean and top quality rooms and en-suite. Food ok but not a great choice, even on the buffet menu. I’d highly recommend the hotel and service provided but would suggest going into Brugge for better and less expensive food.

Internet access requires log-in every time you turn on your computer , iPad or iPhone. Not just a single log in and internet site remembers your last log-in. Every single time.

Waste of time and effort. If you need your computer for work as I do, logging in every 10-15 minutes is not convenient.

Great Hotel for a City Stop in Brugge

Came for a single night to visit Brugge. Hotel is very pleasant. Nice and quiet. Is a little outside the city centre but has a free car park behind it which is perfect for anyone who is driving over, which we did. Has a great bicycling theme throughout. Very modern and well done.
Room was spotlessly clean and modern. Shower was lovely and powerful. Everything provided, towels, washing bits etc.
Even though it is a little outside the city centre you can get a No. 3 bus just 5 mins walk away or a taxi will cost approx €10. We chose the bus and is a great way to get into town.
Breakfast was a nice fresh continental style with a selection of meats, cheeses, cereal, pastries and breads. All lovely. The is a hot buffet there as well with the normal sausage, eggs, bacon, beans etc.
I would definitely recommend this place and we plan to return soon for another city break.

This was a unique hotel outside of Brugge. It is dedicated to bike riders. They will rent you a bike so you can ride into town. We were in a big group so they called us a cab. It was a 5-10 minute drive to the center of town. It is a 30 minute walk to town. The hotel is surrounded by bike/walking paths. We went for walks in the evening and the morning. Very peaceful place and good to relax after a long day sightseeing.

Nice hotel but quite a way out of the town - a good three-quarter hour walk. Hotel itself is very nice, but the bedroom lacked hangers and bathroom had no shelves to put things on. Particularly the shower where you had to put your shampoo on the shower floor. The staff were wonderful and friendly.
