Day time is nice and quiet nice time around 10pm the hotel turns into a black ppl back yard bbq with your uncs and aunties in the middle of the floor drinking drinking twelve packs in the lobby and backyard bbq music the hotel turn into the BET AWARDS the police doing valet telling you to park your own car the front lobby turn into red carpet phot shoots ….only thing you missing is the dice

Stayed here over the weekend for a business trip. As someone who works in construction and travels frequently, I usually build relationships with hotels I can consistently bring business to. The room itself was great spacious, comfortable, and a nice view. That part met expectations. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t. The valet situation was confusing and unhelpful, check-in was slow with an unwelcoming attitude, and the TV in the room didn’t work. On top of that, I was stuck in the parking garage for about 15 minutes due to a gate issue, and the response I received when calling for help was unprofessional. Because of these issues, I don’t see myself returning or bringing future business here, which is disappointing given the potential this property has.

When I check in, there’s a gentleman named Stefan. He check us in, but he was full of attitude. He is not friendly at all. The only thing he asked me is phone number he didn’t even say may have your number or ma’am what is your number? He is very rude. When I try to ask him what is there around that I can go to like attraction? He didn’t even answer me. But the lady Nem Regina work next to him had gave me all the answer. Thank you Regina for being very friendly nice kind and welcome. So the check-in didn’t take us long everything went smooth. It’s just the fun with being rude. Come to the property I think that the party looks kinda old and also when I stepped into the room, the room smell like marijuana like someone smoke inside the room but because is only for one night and we will get a leave early in the morning. we’re not staying for long so I didn’t even care to report that. Next to the bed where I was sleeping at is smell like mold , it smell bad. Honestly I don’t think I will come back to that hotel.

I wasn’t pleased with the 20% guatuity when purchasing at the downstairs bar. My ticket went from $56 to $70 and was given a tip slip to tip again for take out service. Was not happy bc I felt robbed. I didn’t tip twice either.

This was my first time in Atlanta, and I can’t say enough great words about The Starling! In fact, I’d be scared to ever stay anywhere else because I don’t know if it would be as impeccable! The service, the decor, and the ambience alone was unmatched! My room was lovely and clean, and the bed was comfortable. I loved the vibe (and the food and drinks) of the Lantana, and I loved the convenience of Politan Row and Colony Park. I also appreciated its closeness to Piedmont Park as I enjoyed renting an E bike and riding around the park and stopping at the botanical gardens. The Starling is also a couple miles away from the museums, like the National Museum for Civil and Human Rights, as well as the Coca-Cola Museum and the Georgia Aquarium, which I enjoyed very much. Very walkable area, right around some great restaurants like Rumi’s and 5 Church. I did not rent a car and did not need to for what I was doing, which was literally just relaxing and doing a little sightseeing. Overall, it was a great stay at The Starling and I would never go anywhere else!

1st our tv didn’t work. The regular tv channels said “no signal” and the apps for Netflix and tubi wouldn’t load

2nd our shower wasn’t working properly. The water wasn’t going down the drain. It was backing up in the tub and taking forever to drain out.
Our room looked nothing like the pictures and the reviews we saw. I picked a specific room when I booked the hotel. When we arrived we were told we were getting an upgraded room. The room was just on a higher floor and looked like a regular room. That’s not an upgrade. The restaurant at the hotel charges outrageous prices for a little portion of food, the drinks at the bar are high priced. Parking at the hotel is ridiculous at $79 per night. Then if you want to buy anything at the hotel like bottles of soda, water, chips or candy it’s $5 EACH. We don’t recommend this hotel, nor would we stay here again. Not at the prices they charge.

The staff was outstandingly kind and helpful. The hotel room was very nice and neat but could you use a little bit of repair on certain things. The breakfast was really nice and the breakfast area extremely comfortable. I would say the only thing that I found surprising is that really anyone could have followed me in the elevator to my floor. There was no security- having to check at the entrance with your card that leads you to the room could have been an added security feeling. There should be a system where at any point someone could come to you and ask you to validate the fact that you are a guest. But overall a wonderful state and again the staff was amazing

My stars were all high. But my overall rating was a three. This is because of small things that added up. The shower kept going from scalding hot to freezing cold every minute or so. There was *constant* banging around heard from another room that could be heard in the bathroom, even at 3am. The snack bar was not staffed, the machine wouldn't work with cards, and they had no utensils for things like ice cream. The sink was slow to drain, so it backed up frequently. One of the elevators broke. The room was rather small for the price.

However, the room was clean. The bed was AMAZING. The staff was respectful and nice. The restaurant was good. The location was exactly what we needed. Parking was perfect (though expensive) and valet was optional. The view was nice in the room and the working elevators were quick and efficient.

Parking was not great. Most Valet employees were wonderful but the fees for valet were not clear and priced high and one employee charged me $40 cash but then hotel charges me $155 an I’m confused as to how that is the correct amount for parking only a few hours one day and one over night parking.

I can’t say enough about how incredible the customer service was! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations, but Regina (hotel receptionist) and Dontrell (bartender) truly made the experience unforgettable.

They went above and beyond to help bring my boyfriends birthday surprise to life, fully embracing the idea and delivering each note perfectly. Their willingness to play along, their attention to detail, and their genuine kindness made the entire experience feel so special and seamless.

I’m honestly so elated and grateful for how accommodating and thoughtful they both were. It’s rare to come across people who not only do their job well but also put heart into what they do—and Regina and Dontrell did exactly that. Thank you for helping create such a memorable and meaningful experience for the both of us!

My room was clean but the mini-fridge didn't work and I had purchased items that needed refrigeration. It wasn't able to be repaired so they moved me to a room on a higher floor with excellent views. It was a 3 night stay. On day 2 I was in an all-day meeting and came back expecting to find my room refreshed. It was not. Housekeeping did come later to make the beds and refresh the towels. Day 3 it was cleaned and refreshed. I needed to iron some slacks, but the retractable cord in the iron would not stay un-retracked. Other than that, the staff was very friendly. I will say that at other Hilton hotels I am used to getting cookies and free water. No cookies. Free water ONLY if you are a Hilton Honors member.

The site is gorgeous and the staff amazing and very attentive. The room had an odd smell after the first day maybe the shower drain? It did end up fading but was off. The shower head and sink also seemed to clog. The tv couldn't pick up local channels. They did send someone to fix it right away but we were needing to be in the room so we told them not to worry about it.

This is the reason for the 4 starts instead of five. The functionality of the room could be improved. That's being said I'd stay here again but it just wouldn't be my first choice. The location is an amazing with a food hall you can access from the second floor and a ton of restaurants around.

The hotel is very pretty, staff great, amazing location just needs some sprucing up and improved bathrooms.

Upon arrival (Friday, 9:45 pm), valet was extremely crowded. Apparently, The Starling is a popular night life spot. When I finally made my way to the valet, I wasn't greeted. A security guard informed me it would be more affordable to self park if I didn't plan to go in and out multiple times ($30 vs. $69 for valet). The music in the lobby was uncomfortably loud and I had to the man at the front desk to constantly repeat himself. He also didn't give me any of the requisite details (i.e. explaining the incidental hold, wifi info, restaurant info, etc.) while his counterpart was very thorough with the guest he was checking in. The room underwhelming--it was basic and simple, with an overly soft bed and pillows, and terrible lighting. The next morning, I woke up late and asked the front desk to have housekeeping come to my room. A note was made, but my room was never cleaned. On Sunday, I went to breakfast at the hotel's restaurant which was excellent. The ladies working at the restaurant were enthusiastic, kind, excited, and knowledgeable. Nicole attended to me and she was fantastic! I would stay here again, but only at a discounted rate. It wasn't bad for $378 for 2 nights/3 days. You're mostly paying for the location (which is excellent).

The staff members that helped us were very friendly and gracious, however there were some problems with the facilities. One problem was the phone was disconnected in our room. Also, the ice machine was out of order on the 24th floor. An early morning excursion for coffee led to a ride on an elevator that went rogue, leading to a sudden stop on the 10th floor and then having it travel back up to the top floor unexpectedly.

The internet service wasn’t great. Staff didn’t have good energy (in terms of attitudes or friendliness overall save one staff member). The room was clean and efficient but felt a bit cold in trend of personality save the three little birds on the wall. There were only 2 bottles of water on the top shelf and they expected me to pay for those. Zero complimentary gifts or little touches to make you feel welcome for the price point but the view from my room was amazing. The lobby was aesthetically pleasing. Bottom line, I wouldn’t stay here again but it wasn’t a terrible experience. Convenient but almost sterile feeling.

The room was nice. Was it perfectly clean now I saw a few imperfections. The number one complaint I’ll say is that the staff was not very nice in particular there was this one woman who checked me in and she was extremely rude. She would make rude comments, rude, smirks rude scoffs animated for a very uncomfortable and unfortunate situation when checking in and made our experience un enjoyable. I would never come back because of that woman which goes to show you how important customer services is. My flight arrive late so we checked in around one in the morning so it was someone who works the late night shift. I do not know her name but stay away at all costs. She should not be working there.

Amazing experience! From the time we pulled up for valet to check out it was Exceptional Service!! There was a bit of a wait at check in, however they had fresh ice lemon water available while you waited. Every associate from Eddie , Aaron, and Enoch in Valet; to Ashley at check in desk, and Stephen at check out they were ALL so kind welcoming and simply amazing. The hotel is beautiful, rooms immaculate, the whole vibe and esthetics on point!! This place is my now my absolute favorite!! Every picture, detail, and shown information is exactly as shown.
