Rooms were large and clean. We stayed in the 2 bedroom option which was perfect for our family. There was a lovely coffee/brunch spot attached which really added to our stay. Would definitely book this place again!

Front desk lady was super nice and helpful. She’s the only staff member.

There’s a guy that sits in the lobby closest to the desk everyday but it’s not clear if he works here or if he’s a resident.

The apartment was impeccably clean. It’s jarring going from the smelly dark hallways into the apartment.

Parking is pricey and I saw people camped out/possibly living in the garage on two occasions. The neighborhood is mixed- crackheads, college students, yoga girlies, crazies - but there weren’t any issues.

This hotel doesn’t give room keys. Instead they text you a link that opens in a browser that you use to open all doors. It is a literal nightmare, WiFi/signal issues regularly cause it not to work, doesn’t load when you’re in the elevator but you can’t use the elevator without it.

There was an attempt here to make an upscale Hilton-quality facility, it failed miserably.

Everything was great. Genius location and excellent staff. Accommodating and professional but still warm and human. Rooms were awesome. Well spaced and designed. Cute and modern. We were in a deluxe 2bd that had 2bth as well. Genius for 4 people including a teen. Kitchens have everything you need and Nespresso and pods and high quality bath products Malin Goetz. Very cool... will be back.

This was a very interesting experience. I booked it not fully realizing this was a place more geared toward long term stays and the units were more like apartments than hotel rooms. The layout of the rooms and the amenities within were excellent. There were no televisions which I didn’t mind and no daily service which I would have liked. The valet had one Indian gentleman that was fantastic but the others were rude or would be out of sight. Went inside once and asked the front desk if they knew where valet was after waiting outside for 10 minutes. Then she turns to this guy sitting down and says “aren’t you valet?” He quickly bounces to his feet. Another guy was just locked into his phone and didn’t look up so had to go over and get his attention. Maybe they aren’t that busy and as a result just aren’t attentive. Everything is digital. The doors, elevators etc so you need your cell phone. I guess if you had a flip phone, you may not be welcome. It works, but the elevators are annoying because you go inside and then lose phone signal so have to open the elevator doors for the buttons to work. Location is great. I would definitely stay again.

Eveything was EXCELLENT! Minus rooms do nt actually have 55\" TV in room like listed (they provide a monitor on wheels for you to connect to). Also restaurant hours should be extended - they are closed Sunday/.Monday and do not open until 8am

We checked out of the hotel 4 weeks ago and the $150 hold they placed on my card when we checked in is still pending. I called my bank and they said the hotel needs to fax them a release. The hotel isn’t helping.

Just follow the steps. Make sure you're signed in to the internet so you can use the electronic key and keep your phone charged. I loved it, excellent location. The studio is small but it was perfect for 1-2 people. A need to know - the valet does have in/ out privileges but they're off duty from midnight til 7 a.m.

I don’t feel like the room was worth the price. It felt more like a short stay motel. No TV in the room and no amenities outside. It said we were supposed to receive two drinks but we couldn’t even find a bottle of water. Definitely not for everyone.

The kitchen has what you need to cook. 1 skillet 1 sauce pan dishes & utensils. The washer/dryer combo is next level and perfect for a small kitchenette. The shower head is out of reach to adjust easily for a short female or male otherwise funtional.

Our group of 4 had a great time staying at Scout Living. The apartment was clean and had absolutely everything we needed for our weekend stay. We had access to a beautiful rooftop patio, pool and basic gym and the building is located to everything we needed to be close to.

The only feedback I have is to do away with the digital access pass. Most trips on the elevator were frustrating and a few times I had to rely on residents in the building to grant me access. There was also a few second delay to unlock the door to our room and the amenities. We would have much preferred a physical access card.

I had an incredible stay at The Scout! The hotel itself is stunning—the room was perfect, and the rooftop deck and pool were definitely the highlights of the trip. The views and the atmosphere up there are simply amazing.

One quick tip for future travelers: the parking garage can be a little confusing to navigate.

After a bit of a struggle, we opted for the valet service, which was much easier and well worth it.

I’m already looking forward to staying here again. Highly recommend!

The stay was just ok. I think if you’re young and hip to all things technology it’s probably fine. Several items in the apartment didn’t work; no TV was in the room though we were brought one when asked; restaurant wasn’t open for dinner. All in all - just ok.

First they provided me with a room that was cleaned, the beds were not even made. Second the site only has 1 person to handle all the check-ins and service calls. It takes a long time to check in if there are more than one person checking in. The rooms do not have TV, you must request one and when you it takes a long time to get. This place is run more like a Airbnb than a hotel. It’s the second time I stayed at the property and this second time was worse than the first one. I was hoping the they would improved as the property is very well located.

Property was great!! Room was like new. Full kitchen, washer, dryer, etc etc. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. There was a tv in the room, but not hooked up, no cable connection. No phone in the room. This is a high tec property. No room keys. It all goes through your phone. It took a day to figure it out. A 2 minute tutorial from staff at check in could have saved some frustration.The young lady checking me in said she was new. I was new there too. Super friendly though. Just needs training. I’m an older guy who is not tec savvy. Parking available but you have to pay a separate company. A place this nice should be able to work parking into the bill without me having to download an app on my phone at a cost of 30 per day for the privilege. The parking situation and lack of explaining the digital key system is the reason for the 3 star rating. This property is everything you want kitchen wise. Thats my main reason for booking.

Love the vibe of the room! The kitchen had new appliances that were in perfect condition and definitely matched the the style of the space. The bedroom was cute, but a little small, almost Japanese-closet type. The free drink was water, maybe should mention that beforehand. But the deal I got on the room was great and the staff were wonderful.

The room was very clean and great to have a kitchen. Be ready for the bed, which is basically in an alcove with a wall at the foot of the bed. There is no TV in the room, so you will have to ask for one. When you get it, it's basically a computer monitor on wheels. You'll only have streaming services to watch.
Staff at check-in was great. During our stay, the toilet backed up. When we called about it, we got a plunger to use ourselves-not hotel staff helping. We ended up needing extra towels because the toilet overflowed. We went to the front desk and had to argue to get towels- we were told we had to ask housekeeping for those. Finally got them, but shouldn't have had to basically beg.
Last of all, we had a VIP stay that was supposed to come with free drinks. The hotel didn't give us anything to receive those.

I can’t speak more highly of the staff, especially Kathlyn and Monika! Kathlyn was just so sweet and super friendly with my little corgi named Copernicus. Everyone just wonderful and the rooms are perfect for long travel as they are super clean, very modern, and love the fact it had a washer dryer in the unit.

The location was very convenient — close to shops, dining, and entertainment, which made getting around easy. The room itself was quiet and mostly clean, but there were a few issues. There was no TV in the room at first, and we had to request one to be brought up. Also, the laundry setup wasn’t very user-friendly — we couldn’t just use the dryer without running a wash cycle first. We also found a pubic hair on one of the bathroom towels, which was disappointing. Parking was a bit confusing to figure out. Overall, it was a decent stay in a great location, but a few improvements could make it much better.

NO TELEVISIONS!!!! I did not see this noted anywhere when I booked or we would have stayed somewhere else! We were there for a relaxing weekend to lay in bed and watch movies and order out…then got to the room and didn’t have a TV! They bring you a portable screen upon request but unless you have an LG phone to connect it’s worthless. So we had to go out to watch football games all day. We won’t be back.

We called numerous times for early check in, leaving messages and never got a response back. Finally when we arrived we were able to get early check in at no cost but we definitely took a risk being as it was a long drive. The room has no TV which was no big deal but be mindful if you’re traveling with children. It would have been nice if they supplemented the lack of TV with maybe a small radio. The hallway to our room which was on the fourth floor, smelt of fish. So bad they even had a fan blowing down the hallway 24/7. Overall for the price I expected a bit more better service and cleanliness.

Tiny but mighty. A small space but exactly what we needed. The separate “bedroom” is literally just that. The bed is tucked away in a small space with pocket doors. But that’s all you really need when you have an early riser and someone who wants to sleep in! Amazing rooftop space with a great view.
