The hotel was very crowded and hard to navigate throughout the common areas. Extra-long waits for the elevators. The staff was very rude and seemed overwhelmed and understaffed, given the volume of guests. Our room keypad was malfunctioning, and we got locked out every time we left the room. Due to the large number of guests, we had to wait 20-30 minutes each time to get into our room. We were not provided the complimentary three-hour parking as listed on the website and had to carry our luggage two blocks to the hotel. The room was clean for the most part, but we found pills on the bathroom floor and in different areas of the room. I would not be staying at this property in the future, as our family vacation wasn't the best due to this hotel, and we were delayed and late for events because we had to stand in line for an extended period to gain access to our room.

The room and hotel was clean. Fairly quiet it was busy weekend with prom and Cardi B in town made for great people watching in the lobby. Staff was nice and accommodating I would stay again. We were there for a hairshow right up the street. Didn’t need to use a car much everything was in walking distance. Loved it

It was nice. I liked the staff but it is always a long line to check in. The staff was helpful. The food at the restaurant was pretty good. The salmon was a tad dry but they gave me a big glass of wine! My room was great. My only thing is I am scared of heights and the hotel as you can see is all about heights. Luckily the staff placed me on a lower floor. Still scared but at least I wasn’t all the way up. I would stay again.

My overall stay was not bad. I was a little disappointed, due to booking a King room, but when I checked in they only had a double. After stating I booked a king, they advised a standard room is a king or double and I could receive either. After that battle they put me in an accessible room, only to find a large waterbug/roach in there. I then had to pack my belongings, and they found another room for me to exchange into the following day. The staff was nice and did what they could do.

If you don’t wanna be spoiled, don’t go to this hotel if you don’t want to have an amazing dining experience don’t even bother entering the door. If you do not want to feel like you’re the most important person in the hotel every time you’re greeted by a staff member check another location if you have no interest in getting the best top-of-the-line massages and pedicures to relax and unwind from your work trip seek another lodging.

This is a gorgeous hotel and the staff is amazing. Only thing I would note is that house cleaning didn’t come to set the beds are provided clean towels. I understand this due to the size of the property. This hotel is a one stop shop with everything you need in one place. Pool is gorgeous, gym is clean, and food is great too.

No one was able to clean our room all three nights as by the time they came to our room, it was 8pm at night. That was very disappointing. On top of that, we had a \"Privacy Please\" door hanger on our door and the cleaning staff still knocked on the door. That was extremely discouraging.

The best part about this hotel is the lobby decor that’s . One of the employees that brought around the car slammed the door hard with attitude because I didn’t give him a tip . Which I did tip to the ones I think deserve it. The bathroom had a strong sewage smell every morning but once you run the pipe for a while it went away . If your going to spend most days outside this is perfect to rest but for celebration and spending time in the room is a no ! Look somewhere else.

I stayed here over the weekend. I like the location because it was a good starting point to get to my traveling destinations.
Probably the first hotel I encountered where it does not provide free Wi-Fi, I found a strange for such a big company. I also didn’t know I was supposed to get my complementary water at the reception, also strange for a bit company.
Other than that, pretty good, pretty cool hotel.

It was a good location for my conference. The food and hotel bar were reasonably priced. The bartenders, Kevin and several others, were definitely hustling on a busy Friday night. The FedEx staff was AMAZING and incredibly helpful.

The hotel was very nice over all. The staff interactions were not so great. Their customer service was terrible.
I had to call the front desk to repair the light switch in the bathroom and the AC. It was repaired fairly quickly but the lady I spoke with was rude. She kept cutting me off. I couldn’t finish my sentence before she would cut me off. It was almost like she just wanted to get me off the phone quickly. The second interaction was at the pool. It was a simple question to ask if the roof would be retracted like the day before (it was 8 pm and a little chilly. The night before the roof was closed). The lady turned to me and as I was asking the question she turned around and walked off. Another guest at the pool saw the interaction and commented how that came off rude. The last interaction was on the day of check out. We wanted to leave our bags at the front to have lunch at the hotel before we headed to the airport. There was a line waiting for the bags to be checked in and the line wasn’t moving fast enough for him and he said something along the lines of “hello keep it moving”.
The hotel has a neat design and the food at the restaurant was pretty good but their lack of customer service was noticed and I don’t think I’d be back.

The Atlanta Marriott Marquis reminds me of Tomorrowland: a dated version of what seemed futuristic decades ago. The property is amazing to look at, but the rooms themselves feel dated: weird banquettes and tables (vs. a desk) and a relative dearth of electrical and charging outlets made me wish for thoughtful updating.

The restaurant (Sear) and bar were lovely. My mind was blown by the $70/night for valet parking (there is no self-park option), so I ended up finding something through Spot Hero just a tenth of a mile away for a teeny fraction of this price.

Perfect Hotel for any necessities. We used it for our German Embassy Appointments. The Hotel, has many things we didn't utilize on this trip, but definitely would have if we had planned a longer stay than 1 night. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Only downside and improvement, i would suggest: FREE internet. With the German Embassy attached to the Hotel, many could benefit from this FREE service.

Staff at the Marriott was outstanding! One of the waiters at the high Velocity restaurant deserves honorable mention (Andrew) for making our stay extra special. Great heated pool, clean rooms and outstanding decor! The best part of this hotel was the location! It’s near everything you’d want to experience as a first timer in Atlanta! Had my daughter with me and this place was perfect for her!

Beautiful hotel, customer service top notch. Internet is free if you’re a Marriot Bonvoy member otherwise you’re paying somewhere like $4.95 a day or more. The glass elevators reminded me of the original Willy Wonka movie, iykyk. Anyhow, the room was nice, the bed was too low to the floor. I’m tall, with very long legs, so it was bit of strain getting out of bed. The carpet was very much outdated and had red markings on it. I asked for a city view, I was given a corner view from the 3rd floor. The M store was cashless and pricey, Starbucks customer service could use improvement, well just Emily. She was conversing with her mail team member while I was speaking to her about my order. I had to call her name, to make sure she heard me, because she didn’t type in my order or stop speaking with him. Which she then replies, I hear you and turns her head back to team member and laughs. (I was very shocked by the dismissive nature).
While I do not frequent Starbucks and probably will not EVER again in Atlanta Marriott based off just that interaction. I still ordered my mocha latte grande with pumpkin pepita loaf. I was so turned off by the interaction I forgot to substitute the milk for oatmilk, nor did she ask if I wanted to use another milk. Thankfully I asked older women making the drinks to substitute it with oatmilk, so nicely she d n

Overall the hotel is in good shape. Hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Our overall stay was good, but at the same time frustrating. We were issued 4 room keys at check in. Upon reaching our room it took multiple tries with all four keys for the room door to open. We told the desk later that day about the issue and were told they’d have engineering replace the battery in the door lock.

It took 3 more times of us telling them about the issue for them to actually have someone sent to the room and address the issue.

Our daughter joined us on the last night, that morning at 7am I asked the front desk for a rollaway bed for her. We returned at noon and there was no bed in the room. Asked the front desk again and got the same answer. Went to dinner came back to the room and still no bed. Another call and finally a bed came with a pillow and no blanket. Called down for a blanket and was told there were no blankets left and was offered an extra sheet.

Communication and logistics seems to be nonexistent. I was told due to the hotel being sold out for the weekend there was a shortage of linens. How can a hotel who’s one job is guest satisfaction not be ready for a sold out weekend.

I would absolutely not stay at this hotel again and suggest the Hilton right behind it, they were also fully booked but apparently didn’t run out of blankets.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, my experience was just average — I would rate it around 3 stars.

I was actually expecting much more because the interior of the hotel looks amazing and very well-designed, which initially gave a great impression. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite match the aesthetics.

There were a few basic amenities missing that made the stay less comfortable than expected. For example, there was no drinking water provided in the room, which is something I usually consider standard. The hotel also didn’t provide slippers, which was a bit inconvenient.

Cleanliness could definitely be improved. The bed sheets had visible stains, which was disappointing and not what you’d expect for the price.

Breakfast was another letdown. While it was available, it didn’t feel worth the $40 per person price tag — the selection and quality didn’t match the cost.

Overall, the hotel is okay for a short stay, but there are several areas that need improvement to justify the price and provide a better guest experience.
