What you read about old sticky carpets - true. Only one elevator working - true. Noise outside due to the nightclub and swarms of homeless individuals- true.

Staff very friendly - fast and helpful.

Location would be better classed as a hostel.

Spend the extra few $ and stay at the Omni.

Everything was amazing from the people to the food, but I did have one problem. There was like a stain in my bathtub. I didn’t call about it. I didn’t do too much at all about it because I was only staying for a day and most of the day I would be out so I didn’t bother with it. I just covered it up with a towel.

First off, the staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and quiet. Our room had a slight odor/damp feel about it, but it was clean.

Valet parking was $55 a night, plus tip. I thought that was too expensive, especially when the service did work as advertised. The overnight valet didn't get our vehicle when I requested it at around 530am. I found him sleeping in the office. This put my family at least 20 minutes behind schedule, which was not helpful.

I ended up checking out of this hotel immediately. There was no parking. Valet was $55 a day! When I arrived they had cancelled my reservation. The lady at the desk was not very helpful or friendly. The outside of the property is dirty and looked unsafe. People hanging out everywhere. As I sat on the lobby sofa trying to rebook my reservation a man was at the front desk arguing with the receptionist about how filthy his room was. And she was cold and nasty toward him. That’s when I knew I couldn’t stay there. If you want to be in Downtown Atlanta and don’t care about your room being dirty or the surrounding neighborhood then this place would be fine I guess. But I prefer a safer, cleaner, quieter, more luxurious experience. So I left.

Old Hotel being renovated. Lots of city renovation around the hotel as well. It will be a nice area but right now it is run down. We heard construction first thing in the morning that lasted all day. One elevator was broken so only one worked. We waited a long time for the elevator. Also had to pay $55.00 a night to have Valet service or you could walk two blocks and park your self for about $35.00 a night.

I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The only positive thing I can say is that the room was spacious. Other than that, the experience was not good and I would not stay here again.
I pretty much only checked in, left for the night, came back around 3 AM, and then left again before 10 AM because the stay was just not pleasant.
When I tried to turn on the water to wash my hands, the handle actually fell off because it was broken. Later, when I got back to the hotel around 3 AM, I found out the lights in the room were not working properly, which was extremely frustrating after a long day.
The pillow also had a noticeable smell that made it seem like it had not been changed in a while. On top of that, the AC was running but barely cooling the room. I could already feel the poor air conditioning when I first walked into the hotel lobby, but I hoped the room would be different. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.
Usually when you walk into a hotel, there’s a fresh and clean smell that makes you feel comfortable. Here, the atmosphere felt humid and had a musty odor. It wasn’t unbearable, but definitely not pleasant either.
Another frustrating part was the breakfast situation. The message I received clearly stated that breakfast on Monday was from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM. However, when I went down around 9:04 AM, I was told breakfast was already closed.
Overall, this stay did not meet expectations at all, and I would not return or recommend this hotel.

I’d rather reviews and still showed up all tiles barely worked. Staff seemed nice until you needed a sub phones in room did not work pull out. Couch was not existed. Bathroom looked like it was original from the 1900s. Breakfast was one step below a TV dinner.

The mattresses are very thin that you can feel the springs poking you when you lay down.
The carpet has a very wet and mildew smell to them upon entering the room.
The halls are not adequately ventilated so it is extremely warm as you await an elevator.
The iron did not work in our room in spite of using different outlets.
The toilet runs after flushing and there is not enough pressure nor hot water in the showers. I addressed the hot water concerns to the staff to which one of them made a comment on my appearance stating that he “likes what he sees”. I did not find that humorous or professional at the time that I am wanting the concerns about my experience to be taken seriously. The staff was able to solve the issue with the toilet however the water remained lukewarm. I spoke with other customers in passing and they confirmed the issues with their water pressure and temperature as well. I really want to enjoy my stay however I was willing to cancel the remainder of it and go home a day early. I truly don’t consider myself a complainer or problematic but I must let someone know about this experience. It is highly unlikely that I will book again or recommend.

Room 611 had no a/c, tv’s don’t work in any room because the cut off every 7-10 minutes then take 7-10 mins to cut back on, mold in new room 1102, only 1 elevator works, stains on floor and let out bed in 611, breakfast was horrible. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The staff was truly the highlight of this stay. Everyone is caring and wants to help with your needs to make your stay the best it could be. They were painting and getting ready for the World Cup. Our bed was comfortable. The sofa was in bad shape and sagged in the middle. And there was leftover cleaner one the table most likely from paint getting on it. The cabinets were in rough shape and you could see the wood from damage. The location is convenient. And I would Uber and not walk. I would give this another chance for sure because of the staff.

That staff, super friendly and accommodating and my room was clean. However the water pressure didn't work if you added the hot water. Also I could hear everything my neighbors were doing, the people down the hall. Also a homeless man was banging on dome door around 3am, saying \"let me in\" and I could hear him from the 5th floor and none of the staff called the police or 9-11. I was too exhausted from a trade show, but someone in the lobby should have taken action...

I don’t know where to start. We were greeted by a roach at the time of check in. The rooms smelled like air fresheners and mildew. The water pressure was low, and the water would not get hot/warm. Valet parking is $55/night. They left our key in the car unattended. There was an active construction sight who woke us up at 7 in the morning. The stay was horrible, we forfeit two nights & the staff, Stephanie advised we couldn’t get our money back. Stay away from this hell hole. It’s not worth your peace.

The customer service is abysmal from the very moment you arrive at the front desk. They fail to mention that they do not have their own parking facilities, forcing you to pay an additional $55 for parking elsewhere. Furthermore, breakfast closes earlier than scheduled; when you arrive, you are treated rudely and told that it has already closed and that nothing is left. Staying at this hotel was a very poor experience; I do not recommend it.

We recently stayed at The Connally Hotel Downtown Atlanta. The customer service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was also very convenient for where we needed to go in downtown Atlanta.

Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. Room 1505 had a strong old, packed-down smell that made the stay uncomfortable. The toilet handle was broken, so you had to constantly play with it just to get the toilet to flush properly. It also took forever for the air conditioning to start working, and the hallways were extremely hot the entire time.

While we appreciated the great customer service and convenient location, the condition of the room and overall comfort issues mean we probably would not choose to stay here again.

First I will say the location was great for where i needed to go while in Atlanta. However, some of the things that were annoying. 1. The elevator door. In order for it to close and move, it had to be pushed outward so the motor would engage. 2. My bathroom lighting was very dim. Just lights around the bathroom mirror but not bright at all. 3. No decent water pressure in the shower. 4. While eating breakfast, the breakfast attendant cut out the lights and people were still in there eating.

Severely disappointed. The only thing that made me stay tonight was the staff. Roderick was very friendly, accommodating, and he was rolling with the punches all night to make sure the guests were happy. The room was full of bugs and condoms. The TVs weren’t connected, the room I paid for wasn’t available. The window view I had was filled with Handprints from the night before and the parking is at your own risk but at no fault of the hotel. The sketchy homeless or the sketchy locals will surely make sure there is nothing valuable left in your vehicle. Underground Atlanta is not somewhere to go.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and would not recommend staying here. First, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and made my skin itch all night, which made it impossible to sleep properly. On top of that, I had to try four different times just to access my room because the key card kept failing.

The location also felt unsafe, especially at night, and there was constant noise everywhere. Even though I reserved a room on the 15th floor, I could still hear loud noises throughout the night.

Another major issue was parking. There was no free parking available, only valet parking, and the prices they charge are unreasonable and extremely expensive.

Overall, the stay was stressful, uncomfortable, and not worth the money.

She was very cheerful and greeted each person that walked through the door with love and a big smile. She’s an amazing hostess and great cook. I was very disappointed with my stay. The first night, the Wi-Fi worked fine, but for the remaining three nights it kept going in and out, making it impossible for me to work on Friday. I had to leave the hotel just to get reliable internet.

The room was very outdated—the bench in the bedroom was taped up instead of being properly replaced. The toilet clogged repeatedly, and I had to request a plunger. The elevator barely worked; maintenance had to bang on it just to get the doors open, so I ended up taking the stairs to my room every day.

On the first night, the TV in the front area didn’t work and had to be replaced. The complimentary breakfast was also very disappointing. Additionally, there were no safety locks on the room doors like you would expect at a standard hotel.

Overall, I would not stay at this location again. There were also too many homeless individuals and people using drugs around the area, which made the environment feel unsafe.

Overall, our stay at this hotel was ok. I wish I had known ahead of time that parking was only available through valet at $55.00 per day. Also, unfortunately, there was a huge tequila festival, so there was a ton of foot traffic, and it was a bit noisy. Thankfully, they put us on the opposite side of the hotel, which helped. Probably would not stay here again, although not so much the hotel, just more the location.

The front desk agent should also pay close attention when handling guest credit/ debit card, seeing that my card was authorized for another room that was not mine.

Our main issue was the breakfast was unavailable both days we stayed (which was one of the reasons I picked this hotel). We also needed a refresh on supplies the second night but were told to come downstairs to grab them. And we had a couple negative interactions with staff. The room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. Air conditioning didn’t blow very cool. Overall we wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was clean and pretty spacious. The area didn’t feel like the best, but we were just out in the morning and came back in the evening so it didn’t affect our stay. I will say we picked the stay based on if it served breakfast and for one of the days breakfast wasn’t available, so that was a bit unfortunate.

There’s the good and the bad with this place lol The valet staff are cool dudes BUT after watching dash cam footage, they kept moving my car in and out of spots and hanging out in my car. lol
The hotel lobby and elevators were clean inside. The FIRST ROOM they tried to put us in was one that still wasn’t remodeled and smelt moldy…Great view tho.
They hotel lobby STAFF was SOO nice and accommodating that they put me in a bigger better cleaner room. Thank you guys! Yall were very helpful and accommodating.
#1. Be mindful what time you show up. Me and my 12 year old pulled up at 10PM to a bunch of homies hanging around out front of the hotel where the valet signs are.
#2 there’s a drug rehab across the street and I think some of the people live in this hotel or something.
#3 take a full video of your room in detail. Just to protect yourself. The contractor that’s doing repairs on the place seemed to be rushing on certain things. You don’t want to be held liable if something breaks that shouldn’t break, AND it’s not your fault.

*it is a great bang for the buck if your not bougie and for a short stay. It’s a decent price*

We had a great time! It’s close to the masquerade which is where Me and my son visited to see a concert. during the day we checked out stuff in the surrounding areas and had a great time.

I booked Wednesday landed in Atlanta and got to hotel. It was nothing as advertised. I wouldn’t even call the hotel a half of a star. I checked out :30 minutes after I got there. Lost my $409 thanks to Expedia lying about hotel and area. Nothing but bums out in streets and no restaurants or any business open. I lost my $400 thanks to Expedia then Immediately but a cleaner and safer hotel in Midtown and spend another $560 thanks to Expedia. I did a lot of business with Expedia in past but never again will I ever use them. Terrible website that lies about hotels. Only thing good was person that checked me in found me a cleaner and safer area to protect my 15 girl there. When I got there the security joked when I asked is it safe here can I find food? Your a big guy you should be ok but be back before dark an good Luck finding food.
The end ! Never will use your site again you are the worst.
