Supposed to clean room every 3rd day and that did not happen. We had to empty the trash cans, get more toilet paper and towels. TV in living area did not work and the large wall vent fell off the wall. The room had a musty smell also. The staff was very friendly.

Hotel was not as advertised, especially the room. The curtain rod was broken and left in the corner of the room for me to find. The tables were not clean as well as the sheets and pillow cases. The front desk agent should also pay close attention when handling guest credit/ debit card, seeing that my card was authorized for another room that was not mine.

The location of this property is very convenient in that it is accessible to the public transit system. The lobby and rooms are very clean. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise to me. They also offer a wide variety to choose from.

Our main issue was the breakfast was unavailable both days we stayed (which was one of the reasons I picked this hotel). We also needed a refresh on supplies the second night but were told to come downstairs to grab them. And we had a couple negative interactions with staff. The room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. Air conditioning didn’t blow very cool. Overall we wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was clean and pretty spacious. The area didn’t feel like the best, but we were just out in the morning and came back in the evening so it didn’t affect our stay. I will say we picked the stay based on if it served breakfast and for one of the days breakfast wasn’t available, so that was a bit unfortunate.
Otherwise it was a good stay, staff was very friendly.

There’s the good and the bad with this place lol The valet staff are cool dudes BUT after watching dash cam footage, they kept moving my car in and out of spots and hanging out in my car. lol
The hotel lobby and elevators were clean inside. The FIRST ROOM they tried to put us in was one that still wasn’t remodeled and smelt moldy…Great view tho.
They hotel lobby STAFF was SOO nice and accommodating that they put me in a bigger better cleaner room. Thank you guys! Yall were very helpful and accommodating.
#1. Be mindful what time you show up. Me and my 12 year old pulled up at 10PM to a bunch of homies hanging around out front of the hotel where the valet signs are.
#2 there’s a drug rehab across the street and I think some of the people live in this hotel or something.
#3 take a full video of your room in detail. Just to protect yourself. The contractor that’s doing repairs on the place seemed to be rushing on certain things. You don’t want to be held liable if something breaks that shouldn’t break, AND it’s not your fault.

*it is a great bang for the buck if your not bougie and for a short stay. It’s a decent price*

We had a great time! It’s close to the masquerade which is where Me and my son visited to see a concert. during the day we checked out stuff in the surrounding areas and had a great time.

I booked Wednesday landed in Atlanta and got to hotel. It was nothing as advertised. I wouldn’t even call the hotel a half of a star. I checked out :30 minutes after I got there. Lost my $409 thanks to Expedia lying about hotel and area. Nothing but bums out in streets and no restaurants or any business open. I lost my $400 thanks to Expedia then Immediately but a cleaner and safer hotel in Midtown and spend another $560 thanks to Expedia. I did a lot of business with Expedia in past but never again will I ever use them. Terrible website that lies about hotels. Only thing good was person that checked me in found me a cleaner and safer area to protect my 15 girl there. When I got there the security joked when I asked is it safe here can I find food? Your a big guy you should be ok but be back before dark an good Luck finding food.
The end ! Never will use your site again you are the worst.

Here is honest review. Pricing matches the hotel quality. This ownership of this hotel needs to put money into this hotel as it sees like this neighborhood is up and coming. The staff is top class 5 star and can only provide great customer service for th hotel they are given. Only 1 of the two elevators is working and yes at times you are waiting for a while. The cleanliness needs attention and more so because the hotel is older so needs more work and attention. We stayed for a few days as it was a great Expedia bundle and I’m ok as the pricing was what I got. It’s walking distance to a lot of places, there is a rehab center on the same block but we didn’t encounter any issues. The breakfast was good when it was stocked but for the 3 days we were there it was tough to keep up since only 1 worker. They were busy hotel for the USA soccer game and should have been staffed better but literally all the staff I encountered from front desk, maintenance, valet, breakfast area where wonderful and great customer service. With some inventing this hotel could be amazing as has a ton of character, pictures can be a bit deceiving as were taken from a while ago for sure. Give your amazing staff a more upgraded hotel so they can get 4-5 star reviews instead of 2-3 stars or you will lose them to other newer updated hotels

Clearly its an older hotel but it is well maintained and very clean. It is located at the less lively end of Peachtree St. so a bit of a walk in proximity the livelier end of Peachtree St. heading up to the Hub, as a result there were quite a few indigent people around. This was a bit disconcerting even though there was security around at night. and police patrolling the areas nearby.
The popular Underground was closed. I assume because there is some sort of upgrading to the nearby train station in progress. There was a lot of other construction going on nearby also. Maybe when it's all over and things open back up it will be livelier especially at night.
The staff were all courteous and accommodating.
The free breakfast was basic, fruit, cereal, eggs sausages waffles, coffee and juice.
if the area gets livelier and the train station and underground opens up, I will stay at that hotel again.

Definitely not the best area of town but I did not feel unsafe. I also didn’t go out alone. However, great location (1 stop away) from Mercedes-Benz stadium, Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, etc. MARTA entrance directly across from hotel was closed for renovations but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

Staff was helpful and friendly.

Elevator is janky and only one works. That made me a bit nervous.

Room was very clean. Bed was comfy. No complaints at all in that area. Amenities were stocked, etc.

If you want food late, you have to use Uber Eats or Door Dash because the hotel is locked (key access only) except to those known delivery services.

I stayed here five nights for two games at near by Mercedes Benz Stadium. The entire staff were incredibly friendly and professional. All the people working at the front in security, Samantha at the front desk, Lisa in Housekeeping and the ladies at breakfast really made my stay enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good too.
I just wish they would mention in the Expedia listing about the $80 a night incidental hold for your stay. It’s listed at the check in counter and they did send me messages on Expedia but I never checked them until after I arrived. I was refunded a few days later as promised. I would definitely stay there again if I return to Atlanta. 👍

Pros: Amazing architecture outside, and inside, it has been updated to look modern. Very convenient location to MARTA, State Farm Arena, Merecdes Benz Stadium, and other attractions in the area are walking distance. Breakfast menu was above average.

Cons: Surrounding area under construction, and lots of vagrant individuals in the area. If you can carry yourself, youll be fine, but keep.your head on a swivel. Inside, elevator was acting up, so I had to take the stairs, more than twice.
Once breakfast ended at 930, we were rushed out of the dining area before we were able to finish our meal.

Unfortunately management is negligent in maintaining this property. And the overall area is degrading.

#1 the elevator doesn't work! There are 2 elevators, 1 is not working at all, and the other need major maintenance. While it operators it gets stuck, I mean literally stuck! some one has to \"push\" the door closed in order for it to operate! Yikes, what to do if you are on the top floors (17) if it breaks down! Are you going to actually have to climb 17 stories to get to your room!

Additionally, most everything is boarded up or not working in the nearby area. You will have to walk several blocks to get to anything which is sketchy! You best have an alarm and/or strong stomach walking the area. There are panhandlers and trash on the side walk areas. while this isn't the hotels fault, it definitely would not be my next pick given the price.

The Hotel is nice but when I went to check in I had to wait almost an hour for my room. The front desk said they were short staffed and didn’t have rooms ready. Then the elevator dint work properly. One of the staff had to push on the door to make it work every time someone was going up. Everything else was fine. Room was nice. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly.

I checked in on a Sunday evening and was told breakfast ends at 10am. When my wife and I went to breakfast Monday morning at 9:30am, we were told loudly by the staff that breakfast closed at 9:30am. I told her the desk clerk told us it ended at 10am. She said it closes at 10am on weekends; weekdays, they close at 9:30. So wrong information from the desk clerk and very rude the way the staff told us it was closed. She was like scolding us for coming at 9:30 when it ended at 9:30. It was very unprofessional and rude. Even though we didn’t eat breakfast there, that incident left a bad taste in my mouth. Won’t be back. I’ll spend my hard earned money else where.

Staff was great. Our tv in the room didn’t work and they tried to fix it quickly. Parking was okay. The guy that was working valet our last day almost hit my car when my husband was coming around to pick us up. He was pretty impatient at the light with another guest vehicle. So if you use valet be careful. In my opinion I wouldn’t let them drive my car seeing how he was driving. Paying $55 for valet you’d think he’d be more careful.

I arrived at 8:30 pm and found the front desk unattended. A staff member told me the check-in person had gone out for dinner. The receptionist returned after 20 minutes without offering any apology, behaving as if nothing had happened. The other staff members were very nice. The elevator button was not functioning properly and sometimes you have to press multiple times. The room was spacious for the price, but the bathtub drain was clogged and drained very slowly.

The bed was horrible. You could feel every spring in the mattress. There were divots that you would roll into throughout the bed.
There was only one working elevator for 16 floors! By the time it got to your floor it would be full of people you would have to wait for the next time it came by. Going down multiple flights of stairs is not bad unless you have luggage.
There were other small inconveniences about the area like a good number of homeless/beggars and the noise at night.
I had high expectations by reading the reviews and was very disappointed.

Your room amenities will include a rock hard couch, a soggy ancient mattress where you can feel the springs against your back! Don't forget the cold showers. I thought the first cold shower was a fluke, but no, that's just how the Connally does things! Flickering lightbulbs, broken elevators, a sad continental breakfast, the Connally has it all. Situated in a perfectly seedy neighborhood where you can walk outside directly into an abandoned outdoor mall full of homeless folks! Enjoy your stay at the Connally!
