Check-in was somewhat confusing. I initially entered through the registration entrance, but all of the doors were locked. I took the elevator upstairs to see if there was another front desk area, and a staff member directed me to a dimly lit reception area but left me and went into a back room. Another staff member then assisted me remotely through a computer screen, which made communication a bit difficult and felt somewhat impersonal.
The room itself was adequate - clearly an older hotel, but it was clean and met our needs. The location was a major positive, as it was within walking distance of most attractions.

Toilets are a problem. Can't even handle the 1ply toilet tissue. The rooms were very clean. The queen beds were not even full sized beds, there is no breakfast. The staff was friendly, didn't care for the check in kiosk. Parking garage is very shady. It is close to the aquarium, but its in a shady area.

You get what you pay for, it was cheaper than other locations but not by much, plus $15 a day for parking is steep.
Room was renovated and cleanish. They have a check in process with a camera with a oversea or remote worker even though there is a worker at the front desk hiding behind the wall, not really a big deal but just strange. All in all, not horrible

This sure was an adequate hotel room! The room was clean, bed was comfy, a/c worked, iron did its job, microwave and mini-fridge were useful. But there’s no coffee pot and no hair dryer. Also there’s barely staff??? I checked in and out with a virtual kiosk. Otherwise, the only in-person humans I saw were the room service staff and the lady who got me an extra blanket (after I had to ask the virtual kiosk person for one).

All in all, it was an adequate hotel stay. It was half the cost of the conference hotel down the street, so definitely worth the price.

The $15/day fee for parking was not previously disclosed prior to my arrival. The parking garage had leaks and only some spaces were available. The room had garbage from the previous guest still in it. There was a chunk of hair on the wall in the bathroom. The ice machine on our floor did not work at all. The hotel attendant had to fiddle with the plug to the 2nd floor ice machine to get it to work. The air conditioner was loud but it did work.

The front desk kiosk virtual crap was frustrating especially when it was someone with heavy accent. He was saying this charge that charge . I have a 50 dollar diposite that isn’t coming off of my card . Idk what the processing is for that but there was a 50 dollar deposit I paid . The room was gross building was hot as hell . Staff was unhelpful. Bathroom was gross . Bed had hair and debris on it and the floor too . Platter of idk what on the mirror and walls in the bathroom .

We were able to check in 2.5 hours early which was a huge plus! I assume we had to do the virtual check-in because of that. It went fine except the scanning of the backside of my ID took multiple attempts until an on-site staff member helped me out.

The room was clean and on-site parking was nice and felt secure. We received fresh towels daily as well as having the rest of our room freshened up. It seems like a lot of hotels no longer do this unless requested. It was very nice to not have to ask for clean towels.

The day we were to check-out we received a call promptly at 10am telling us check-out was at 11:00. Yep...we were already told that upon check-in. We did not request a reminder. My boyfriend did have a question for them a few minutes later and when he called the front desk or whoeever answered that line all they would say is, "It's 11." No matter what he said or how he reworded the question it seemed this person did not know much English and could not comprehend what he was even saying.

You have to use your keycard to access the parking area. We couldn't even get back tonour car because they had already deactivated the room key before 10:30! I was frustrated because I thought we would have to deal with a virtual person to get them to attempt to reactivate it so we could leave. Thankfully there was a guy behind the desk who called me ovwr cause he knew what issue I was having. These issues in the last 30 minutes of our stay made us feel rushed out unfortunately...

We were provided with no towels and no shampoo. There was no coffee maker in the room. The shower valve leaked badly. There was no desk agent most of the time. They had this weird video kiosk connected to a person in India.

Very clean, and super convenient to everything downtown. Comfortable bed. Good shower pressure. 10min walk to MARTA. Easy check in and out. Great price for location. Nice having microwave and fridge in the room.A little noisy due to proximity to yhe interstate. But would definitely stay again.

Overall, I thought it was very nicely taking care of. There's a cool interactive AI kiosk as you come in. The people physically working the front desk were really nice and cool. There's a few vending machines on the first floor and on the second floor. Overall, it's totally chill and simple. My only gripe was this, the heater / air conditioner in the room had some weird rust or stain build up residue on it that didn't look right. So much so, I didn't want to run the AC or the heat as a result. Someone should take a look at that. Other than that, legit spot.

Hallways were sketchy, the neighborhood was sketchy. Greeted by remote worker, they completely missed the point when it comes to hotel / motel hospitality. Never ever going there again. Not to mention I could have stayed at a nice hotel for $50 extra. If this is how Motel 6 wants to proceed BAU not going there ever.

The room was ok. The water in the tub wouldn't drain. That was nasty. To stand in your own dirt. Also had to pay for parking at the hotel. Why isn't parking free if im staying over night. They also accused us of smoking weed. And me or my husband haven't smoked in year's. Horrible area. No real people just a kiosk. Won't ever stay here again

The hotel was fine, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The virtual check in was awful but the lady that saved me from the virtual check in was very nice and made check in pleasant. As far as amenities, it's coffee and vending machines but the coffee was good.

We have stayed at this location many times but this time i had to ring a doorbell to get into the lobby. I did not like the virtual check in procedure once inside. It was very hard to hear what the clerk was saying. The ice machine was broken on our floor so i had to go to the floor below to get ice. I did appreciate the locked doors to enter each floor though.

Not a Hilton but clean and comfortable. It needs some paint but I couldn't see that from my room. Parking was secure and only $15/night. I stayed 2 nights for the Peach Bowl for $255 (total) plus parking. Great location for that at a great price.

This hotel was in a safe location, easy access to the interstate, was clean and was reasonably priced. However, the rooms are small and seemed like a dorm- very, very basic. The whole facility seemed plain, old, bare and minimal. Vending machines in lobby and only coffee in the morning. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a virtual attendant and a machine that printed my room key. The staff I saw were friendly but I was called 10 minutes before check out time to remind me of the time then someone knocked on my door with 3 minutes to check out- that was a bit much.

We were extremely disappointed with this Motel 6. We should have known it was going to be bad when we had to be let into a dark empty lobby where the check in process was completed by a remote offshore employee that could not answer any questions I asked. There was a dead roach in the bathroom, the bed sheets were covered in animal paw prints and hair, the air conditioning unit was rusted over and loud, and the hallways smelled of mold and curry. I am asthmatic and highky allergic to mold so we had to leave the premises immediately. We were told we would be receiving a full refund over the phone but now they are going back on that and have denied the request. Now the battle will begin to try recouping our costs. Stay away from this motel.

The virtual check in is so weird and impersonal. Parking is not free for our car had to pay $15. Keycards malfunctioning. Noisy location by highway. Weird motel location in the center of downtown. No outside access (had to use a keycard) which is why i booked this hotel to start with.

These are the worst people on the face of the earth. Trying to get out of doing their job at even just the most basic level. Faking outrage at the slightest thing. Just so they can say get out or we will call the cops. That way they could go back to watching Charles in charge right then instead of in three minutes after they checked us in.

Had car troubles on the way to my two night stay here. Because we didn’t arrive in the check in window our room was given uo and we were told we would need to buy another stay at an increased rate. Paid in full and didn’t get to stay at this hotel. But you should also know the entire property is in dire condition and a very rundown location in town.

The room was clean and the housekeeping staff were kind and courteous. That is about the only good things here. The AC was loud, every single part of the property besides the room had an insanely acrid, chemical smell. The first time I walked in I nearly vomited. The elevator worked intermittently. The building itself was mean and nasty. No coffee in the room. No breakfast. No laundromat for a mile. The last night I was there a proper fight broke out with doors banging, screaming, crying. No cops were called. I am honestly glad to be alive and having survived it.

Very noisy, room provided was by the highway, on top of that AC was noisy as hell.

Staff at the reception was not friendly. There were no other people checking in yet they made us wait until one of the 2 staff members present at the desk finish what she was doing (counting dollar notes). The other member wouldn’t step in.

This motel was such a surprise at its rate! Check in was a breeze and informative. The parking fee is one of the cheapest in the area for a secure underground space. We found the bed to be comfy and plenty of pillows. The elevator is a little quirky and tricky. It sometimes would close, then open right back up. I learned that you have to encourage the door closed. When you choose to go down, it gets you there right now. I absolutely realize how that sounds, but there is no other way to describe it. The location is super convenient to anything you might want to do in Atlanta. If I ever have a need to stay in the area again, I would absolutely return here!

The girl who checked us in was extremely rude

The room was clean and the air conditioner was good 👍. Someone please let the girl who checked us in know that she's in the customer service industry. She was very rude and seemed to be put off by having to check us in. Never had customer service that bad in my 60 years of being alive .

We enjoyed our stay at the Motel 6.
This was my first experience with a motel (as opposed to a hotel) and I would have to say it was perfectly adequate. The rooms are updated and the parking is gated. Very walkable location. Pet friendly. Staff was excellent and very nice.
