The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, I am a Hilton Honors Member. There was no complimentary water, I had to pay a fee to check in early, the “restaurant” on site served uncooked pizza and there was no bartender to make a drink. Then I was forced to pay for the meal with the incidentals hold. The shower knob was broken and had to be manipulated to run at least warm water. No one cleaved the room on day 2 as promised. I will never stay here again.

Staff was good, valet was great! Room…hot water at the sink was nonexistent during the entire stay. One elevator was not working the last 2 days, we, and many other guests, were not told that a room key had to be used in the elevator, eventually figure out, grill was closed Sunday, never informed beforehand, placed a delivery, stepped outside to get it, key would not work to let me back in and no one was at the desk to hear the buzzer I had to push to get in,the table we sat at in the dining area had the same piles of crumbs under them for at least 2 days, the heater sounded like a 747 when it turned on and the sound last way too long, and it was surprising to see a room that was so dark and dreary and in our jr. suite we had 2 TVs, on remote was missing.

Great service. Excellent rooms. Exceptional staff. Hotel Quite near to Georgia congress centre, Coca Cola and the aquarium (less than 10 min Uber). Good gym facility and an outdoor pool which we did not use due to cold weather in January. Overall great experience nothing to complain. Safe to say I’d be back here anytime I am in Atlanta. Special thanks to JB at check in.

I have stayed at plenty of Hilton products, but I will never stay at that location again. I don’t worry when I know I book at a reputable hotel like Hilton. Please disclose that they charge 50$ a day for parking!!! I was appalled of this! The hotel it self is old so it takes a very long time for water to heat up as well as the heating does not keep a good temperature , very hot then cold and the thermostat was never touched. I feel like what I paid and what I got made me feel I was cheated out of my money. What is happening to Hilton????

It was horrible from the beginning of the stay. From the first encounter to valet. The experience was so horrible and unwelcome to where I spoke with the front desk to have the entire stay canceled. I had a lot of luggage to carry and there were no luggage carriers available nor did any of the workers offer to help. I also waited for about 15 minutes before the valet rep asked to park the car. They were not welcoming or helpful. I will never stay at this property

Beds were too hard. Curtains didn’t close , and shades didn’t come all the way down. You couldn’t adjust temperature in room. They only had valet parking and only on person trying to check in cars and get them . Lady bartender at bar was only good service we got there. Find somewhere else to stay , if possible.

The front desk clerk Krystal and another young lady working overnight were extremely helpful and kind. We had to order food from the bartender and she was awesome.
We ordered the breakfast buffet which was okay. The gentlemen working was excellent. The variety of food items could have been better and the building was cold.

Our room was extremely clean and the hotel was overall great.

They also had a snack area where you can purchase items.

There was also a 200 deposit at check-in that was not mentioned on the Hotels app. This should be credited back within 3-5 business days.

Caution: Inaccurate description/Unexpected costs

The hotel was clean, had friendly staff, and a nice pool (it was too cold to enter on Sept 14th). Valet parking was available for $50 overnight, with exits/returns as needed. The valet cost was expected from other reviews, and the valet system was great with texting to retrieve the car within 2 mins.

HOWEVER, we encountered MAJOR issues with what the HGI staff blamed on false advertising on Hotels.com. We booked a king room with pull out couch for our family of 3, and selected HGI due to the pricing on hotels.com and the free breakfast. Upon check in, the room only had a king size bed - We had to upgrade for our third family member to have somewhere to sleep! Breakfast ($18 each) was NOT included, though I managed to get one comped meal coupon due to the issues. Only coffee and tea were included, and breakfast was cooked to order.

The additional costs were unexpected and caused stress on our family. The hotel staff blamed it on Hotels.com. If this is indeed an issue with Hotels.com, it needs to be sorted out between HGI and the site. While possible to select a suite with pull out sofa and include breakfasts and valet in the booking, it was not noted that this was necessary. The description and photos of the room we selected was that it sleeps 4 and had free breakfast.

We would maybe stay here again, or choose somewhere else in Midtown. Use caution and expect the costs to be $80-150 more per night than we paid when booking through the site.

I enjoyed that the property was centrally located to all the places I wanted to visit. I thought for the price the rooms would be nicer and I was told you had to pay for valet and it was 25.00 a night but at checkout was told they email the bill and four days later I find out they charged me 50.00 a night for forced parking.

This hotel is wonderful in appearance, staff and comfort.. I didn't get to enjoy the pool or try the breakfast buffet but having a Keurig coffee maker in the room was a plus. The only thing unfortunate to staying downtown Atlanta is parking. If you arrive in your own vehicle be prepared to valet. They have a great staff, I was very comfortable leaving my car with them.... however I learned from this experience that "available parking" posted in the app does not necessarily mean free parking. there's an automatic $50 surcharge put on your bill, so make the best of it.

The hotel is a bit dated and could use some updates. It’s located in a high-traffic area, so you can hear the noise at night—though I used a white noise app and that helped a lot. Just something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper. The staff was excellent—very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. I stayed here unexpectedly due to a canceled flight and it served its purpose. It’s about a 15-minute drive to the airport. One note: the check-in area is a bit hidden and can be confusing to find.

5 Stars – Exceptional Stay!
From the moment we arrived, every staff member – valet, front desk, and bartender – went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. This was our first experience at this Hilton, and it has been phenomenal. We actually switched from a motel 30 minutes away due to poor service and missing amenities, and we could not be happier with that decision. The difference here is like night and day! My kids and I absolutely love this hotel. Thank you for turning our trip around and making us feel so welcome!

They didn't have the room that i had paid for available and we had to split our family into a second room (they had overbooked??) One of the rooms smelled like mold/mildew, otherwise very clean. The staff were all incredibly friendly/nice. The elevator we used had an expired inspection tag posted (over a year expired).I would not stay there again. I gave a 2 rather than a 1 because of the friendliness of the staff.

Property was clean, quiet and organized. We checked in late and parking was a bit difficult late and after a long ride we were hoping that would be quicker. Check in was good. We did not have bedding for the pullout when we arrived in the room. We called the front desk and had to go down and get it. We booked the Junior suite room for a family of 5, so it would have been good to have the bedding available in the room. Overall the room was nice, clean and quiet and so if you are checking in at a more reasonable hour it would likely be a better experience.

The room was very expensive for the condition and amenities of the hotel. The hotel is an older hotel that has been redecorated a bit. The carpet was really dirty, so dirty that I didn't want to walk around in my socks. It was on the edge of midtown, we were hoping to stay in the thick of midtown and it isn't as accessible to walking quickly to things. The thing that is good about this hotel is that it is only 1.2 miles from the Mecedes-Benz stadium. So, if you are going to a concert it would be a great location.

Valet service was unorganized and expensive. Additionally, I watched the valets run 2 cars into each other as they were pulling my car around. The car owners were very upset about the situation.

All in all, it was an OK stay that could have been worse but was overpriced.

From check in to check out the whole stay was so wonderful. Every person we interacted with was very nice and the extra touches they made decorating for the beyonce concert were so cute! The room was great and the beds were so comfortable! I also loved the touch of having my name on the tv when we got in. Food and drinks at the bar were excellent and Alex was lovely to talk to! Would love to stay here again.

So I on site the outside of the hotel does not look like the photos. There is some homeless and drug activity out and around the building. They do lock all doors from the outside you need a key to enter, that safety feature was good. You do get accosted by people for money ect as you walk around the area. Inside, staff was super nice and accommodating. I did end up paying for parking and it was valet only. The valet ended up costing me an extra 50$ per night so I honestly could have stayed somewhere a little nicer had I known. My room was clean and had all I needed, the ac did not work in the room so nights were hot but I didn’t bother the staff as we were out most of the day. Food there was pretty good and well portioned, drinks were also good. The gym was clean nice weight rack, treds, ect, but the pelotons needed a code or weren’t functioning so unusable, which if a selling point should be functioning. I do agree there are nicer hotels so if you’re going on trip with family look around. I honestly wouldn’t stay here again I feel the staff was the only upside to this hotel. If you going for work or over night this was fine. Just beware some of the up charges.

Horrible experience. The first 2 out of 3 days, they didn’t have room keys available, so if I left my room I was locked out unless I got security or the person at the desk to walk me to the room. I didn’t have access to the pool or gym either. The ac barely worked, and the traffic outside was extremely load, like the windows were open.. but they weren’t. Overall I wish I spent the extra 200 bucks and stayed at a nicer place. Oh, the internet was the cheapest lowest quality internet I’ve experienced since dialup. 10mb down, 1mb up.

The property itself is pretty well maintained. We requested a crib for our one year old and never got it. The extra linens for the extra bed were barely adequate. The cost of the breakfast was supposed to be included in my booking, and still cost $17.99 plus tax, per person. The forced valet was initially a surprise at $50 a day, though with a small child it DID turn out to be wildly convenient. The area seemed mostly safe and had standard ATL traffic conditions. Overall, a decent stay.
