Despite booking my room and having a credit card on file the bar staff didn’t want to allow me to put my dinner drink on my room tab until I went back to reception and got them to sort it. Checkin staff and reception were good. Not a great stay unfortunately.

The staff was extremely helpful and the clean laundry room a big plus. Also the food was super delicious for both breakfast and dinner. We'd stay at 'The Conti' again in a heartbeat...

For older travelers, you need to be aware that some rooms are very far away from the reception and you will have to take the bags there yourself without any trolley. The doors are extremely heavy, heavy and hard to open, especially when juggling bags. We had to find a trolley ourselves to take bags. If you do not have wheels on your bags, it will be very difficult.

Only needed one night. Staff were helpful. The 'in house' restaurant bar served a few vegetarian options for lunch, dinner and breakfast. Food was served quickly and portion size was good. We did find the music from the restaurant a little off putting - having it inside and out meant there was no escape.
The location is great; easy walk to either Town Beach and Chinatown.
Our room was well appointed and comfortable - we had been upgraded to poolside.
Would stay there again.

We had a problem with our room - the lock was broken. The receptionist changed us to another room - with an upgrade. She dealt with this effectively and efficiently and we were very satisfied.
The new room was very nice - the first room was a bit run down and there were no lights working on the exterior wall.
The music in the public areas - both inside and outside- was too loud and rather disturbing. I was not surprised no one was in the restaurant or around the pool - not relaxing at all!

I had a fantastic stay at The Continental Hotel in Broome! The decor was stunning, and the room was spotless, tidy, and very comfortable. I was lucky enough to receive an upgrade, which was such a nice touch. My favorite part? My room had direct access to the main pool through a private gate, making it incredibly easy to go for a swim anytime. Dinner was delicious, adding to an already wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommend The Conti!

The dining menu was very limited and the one evening meal we had was appalling. There was one cereal on the breakfast menu and it was not available. No fruit.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Continental it is an older style property that is being brought back to life.
We had a new refurbished room which was lovely although a little small.
The grounds around the hotel are lovely, although the pool area needs some maintenance. Simple things like some rubbish bins round the pool, cleaning the water line and a shower near the pool would help.
The staff were fantastic, helpful and really friendly.
The small hotel gym was perfect for a basic workout.
The hotel was lovely and peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break.
