Lovely place. We had poolside apartment really good choice. Pool was excellent 2 to choose from. Restaurant and breakfast was good. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant on front desk and especially the young lady in restaurant . Can only think of good things to say about this resort.

Breakfast and dinner are excellent and recommend.

The airport transfer bus was late. However, this is beyond the hotel control and not their fault.
We used a taxi to get to the airport which was convenient.

A basic 3.5 star hotel

Everything in the room was dated, the shower had no door or curtain, water everywhere after shower. The bed linen was much shorter length to the bed ( wrong size bed linen) . The safety deposit BOXES WERE both out of order. The lift to the room was out of order., etc etc etc The hotel should have been rated 3.5 star maximum, not 4.5 star, which was misleading.

The first night, our bed linen was for wrong bed size, much shorter length than the actual size. Bed is JUST ok. Ideally, the bed, etc are due for a new ones. We couldn't have breakfast, breakfast was early for us, finishes at 9am.

Almost all was excellent. Bed was a bit hard, but no ones fault. The TV was essentially useless. Internet ability was not there for streaming of anything. Told to cast my own device to TV, but phone service not great there either. All not that big, but in principle, a real bummer. Restaurant burger was GREAT, and breakfast was excellent as well. All, a great value short of the TV issues.

To arrive and check in is normally a seamless process, however with a couple ahead of us having some difficulties with the process and at least two other staff milling about doing not much at all and with a separate check in desk available, I’m not certain why this other desk wasn’t available to expedite this process.
After waiting 10 mins and with others also waiting behind us to check in, I’m a bit baffled as to why the other staff couldn’t simultaneously process the other guests

Generally we were very happy with the venue and staff. Dinners was high quality.
Only one issue -Our first breakfast was very unsatisfactory, i needed to ask for black tea as there was none, we waited 5 mins for bacon while our other food cooled, i asked for croissants as thete were none, there was limited seating as most tables were covered with dirty plates.
Not sure the reason for this as it was not the case on following days, but we were tempted not to return after the first instance.

Oaks is always best to stay. It's so close to the local watering hole, supermarket, beach even a karaoke restaurant and local museum! I make every effort to stay at Oaks when I'm in Broome. The rooms are always fully functional with all the amenities in order and the greatest thing with the rooms is that it's so private and so noise-proof! Nice place!

we had stayed at OAKS in Melbourne and it was very good. This OAKS was not the same quality. While the staff were pleasant and helpful,the room was a disappointment. Two of the pillows smelt awful. the shower grout was brown to black in parts. the floor was the same condition. There was no shower door and the floor outside the shower became very slippery when it got wet. The toilet was black inside? Maybe from the poor quality of the water.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Broome Time Resort and would never recommend it to anyone. From the moment I arrived, I was bombarded with an attempt to cross-sell flights to Singapore before I was even given the keys to my room! It was tacky and unprofessional.

Once I finally got to the room, it was an absolute disaster. Bugs and ants were everywhere, making it impossible to relax. The resort claimed they would service the room during my stay, but that never happened. There was no notice, no explanation, just negligence.

The overall vibe of the place is low-class and rundown. If Broome Time Resort were the only available accommodation in Broome, I would genuinely rather sleep in a tent. At least then I’d know what to expect. This is the kind of place where, if you knew ahead of time how bad it would be, you'd stay far away.

Bottom line: Avoid Broome Time Resort at all costs. I wouldn’t wish a stay here on anyone.

Room allocated was overall ok. However certain things just showed lack of care. Piece of wood behind the curtains. Kitchenette a little sticky. Fuse box cover broken and just simply left on the floor at the enter point of room. Old and small TVs. Nice fridge and comfy bed with plenty of pillows. Spacious bathroom. Shower head needs replacing. Safe not working, suspect needs new batteries. Staff friendly enough. One of the two swimming poolsnot in use. Nice pool area. Limited and boring dinner menu. No one was using it during my stay. Location very good.

Check in is slow; arrived 1.45 and had to wait until 2pm to get the key. I had a 2pm meeting and the Oaks don't have meeting space or a work space for guests as most places used for business would have. I booked an executive suite and was given the accessible room for people with a disability - located next to the kitchen bins (stinky and ants) with no blind on the kitchen window, so light at night, and no shelf or benchspace in the bathroom - just a sink on the wall. The Oaks obviously don't value people with disability if this is the accommodation they offer them; by coincidence, I was in Broome working with disability services. Meals are average, and the menu is the same as it was last year. Wifi is terrible and the chair at the desk in the room is made of cane and the wrong height for working; this hotel does not cater for business guests at all. I am in Broome frequently for work, and have stayed at the Oaks multiple times before, but I won't be back. Poor service at reception, average food in the restaurant, no amenities for business travellers, and I didn't even get the room I paid for.

However, on showing my disappointment was immediately placed into a delightful apartment overlooking the pool. Suggest Reception give a map of where your room may be as I got lost a number of time. The Oaks Broome is in an excellent position: opposite Town Beach (Thursday night market) and the Museum, near the bus stop, not too far to Matso's Brewery. The one bedroom apartments are spacious and we had a balcony overlooking the large swimming pool. The restaurant has good food and you can take it to your room. There is a laundry available.

The hotel gave me an upgrade from a studio unit to a 1 bed apartment which was nice however the unit was not very clean with dirty ceiling fan and the kitchen sink didn’t look as though cleaned for some time. One of the bedside lamps didn’t work and the batteries in tv remote almost dead. The only restaurant on premises was open for dinner and breakfast only and the coffee machine was not working with no coffee shops nearby. The restaurant served food that was not properly heated and the eggs served with breakfast buffet appeared to be powerded eggs, they were like rubber. Service in the restaurant was also very poor and items on the menu were overpriced and did not provide much variety

Don’t come in the wet season over public holidays. Room was not cleaned in a week, mould inside, not enough deck chairs around pool and they are thread bare or broken restaurant/bar not open till 5 ( nowhere to get drinks, snacks, etc) and no security guards in or around the Oaks at town Beach so walking anywhere from there is not recommended & some undesirable behaviour went unchecked in Hotel. Positive: Good aircon in room and 2 pools.
